The sunrise view from balcony was BEAUTIFUL! Our stay was amazing, this will be our yearly vacation spot to come to the beach! We absolutely LOVED every minute, the staff were helpful when needed. The only downfall, was no free breakfast, and your gym equipment was not working properly. Gym definitely needs to be updated, and the comfort Inn right beside you offers free breakfast. … might want to fix those two things.

Great location. Love the beach area behind the hotel. Staff was very helpful and polite. Of all the interaction, the thing that stood out was their smiles. They all seemed very happy. The pool was great as well. The rooms were average or better. We ate at peppercorns restaurant during our stay and the waitress was great! Very friendly and went out of her way for our service. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend and stay here in the future.

My wife and I have stayed at this establishment three times now. The first time being on our honeymoon, the second on first anniversary, and the third on our second anniversary. Each time we have truly enjoyed our stay! Great rooms, great rates, great times! We hope to see you all next year!

The hotel is welcoming upon arrival, parking is plentiful, and the new decking down to the ocean is super nice! Found that the stairwell nearest the entrance on each floor has a portion of a lighthouse painted in it! Walk up the stairs to see the full picture! So creative! My only wish would be for an outdoor pool, but that is minor. The beach access is perfect! Rooms are very nice. Our bed is very comfortable. We will definitely be return customers.

I am sitting in my room at the hotel as I write this. Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean with a good view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. The bed is comfortable with tons of pillows. Very cold air conditioning. Hot tub and pool are very nice and clean. No complaints.

I love Nags Head. Really all of Outer Banks. The hotel is nice. It's clean and the staff if very friendly and attentive. The restaurant here in the hotel has live music on Fridays and the food and drinks are decently priced and really good. I would stay here again.

Had an ocean view room. It was beautiful. The only snafu was that they didn't quite have rooms ready the day we arrived.

Great location on the beach. You can drive to many bar and grilles anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes away. They just painted the pace and updated the room furniture. Its not the Ritz, but its a great spot to hang with the family and not break the bank. The details in the construction need some help but overall it's nice.

I went here with the 4-H group and it was a pretty good experience. Overall it was a great hotel. The lobby was nice and it had all of the little things like coffee and and books, but nothing outstanding about it. The balcony is also a plus. The room was just in the middle, comfy beds, nice seating and a good bathroom. If you find yourself in the outer banks, I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway recently and the price was great for the amenities and ocean view! There's a nice restaurant which holds local live music on the weekend, an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, beach access and nice staff. Our room was comfortable, and cleaning service was great.

Went here for our honeymoon. It was an amazing place. The tub was great, the view amazing. It was right on the ocean and super close to anything else we needed. Staff was incredibly friendly.

The cook Mike was funny and added entertainment in addition to the very well cooked breakfast he prepared. However we really wanted beach front rooms, but was told being remodeled. Hope will be available on our next weekend getaway.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. Great atmosphere. Nice patio area with swings and walkway to the beach. Every room has a balcony. Building itself is a little dated but not in bad condition and not really a problem. It almost adds to the whole feeling of getting away.

Fantastic hotel. The staff are attentive and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was technology friendly with lamps that had both usb and traditional outlets to conveniently charge devices with. I especially liked the heat lamp in the bathroom. Don't forget to say hi to 'Sabrina' the cockatoo that lives near the front desk, she's awesome.

The staff cared about this place and it shows. They were beyond friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, everything was CLEAN which is my basic criteria for judging a hotel. Sabrina, the hotel bird, is awesome! The pool and hot tub are heated and have an ocean view. I had a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Will definitely stay here henceforth when coming to the OBX.

We recently stayed here, and I was a little disappointed overall. The staff were very friendly, and the location is great. Maybe it was because we had our dog with us, which I suspect confined us to a first-floor hallway with a view blocked entirely by the dunes (not what I'd really call "partial view of the ocean"), but our room was a bit dank, smelled of mildew for some reason our first two nights, and was sorely in need of an update. The door in our room that led to the back patio stuck, which made it very difficult to open, and our room was not cleaned one day of our stay. We had told the maid when she first came around that morning that we were leaving momentarily and that she would be free to clean then, but I suspect she misunderstood and thought we meant for her to skip our room. That said, I did appreciate their allowing pets as well as the helpfulness of the desk staff and the great location.

Excellent location with awesome views, beaches and decks. This is a very unique Ramada with an indoor pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar and much more. Rooms facing the ocean have excellent views with a balcony and chairs to enjoy the sunrise with a morning cup of coffee. There are numerous decks between the rear of the hotel and the sand dune. Steps go down from the deck above the dunes right to the beach. I'm disabled and use a wheelchair and scooter to get around. The hotel is completely accessible to the handicapped with the only limitation being beach access. However, I can sit in my wheelchair and enjoy the ocean view from the deck atop the sand dune. You can walk, ride a bicycle, scooter or wheelchair to many locations for a meal in the restaurant, takeout or just an icecream. The hotel is pet friendly and has a safe area to walk your pets.

After arriving to the "Ramada Inn", I was impressed and satisfied with the staff and environment right away. The Inn was very beautiful and well kept in order and clean. The staff members were quite polite and greeted my boyfriend, my mother-in-law and I with nothing but smiles and kindness. They made me feel right at home and welcome. However, on our first night there my boyfriend and I had a negative interaction with one of the night shift staff members whom I believe was a manager who's name first name was Chad. While my boyfriend and I were asked to leave the pool because it was time for it to be closed up, this man seemed to be quite hostile towards my boyfriend. My boyfriend had asked Chad about a lighting situation on our balcony and chads response was very impolite and with an attitude in the tone of his voice answered by saying, "open your room door and you'll have lighting on your balcony" he also stated that if my boyfriend had anything smart to say about his response then he would kick us out the Inn. Now, to me this was not an appropriate way to respond to my boyfriend question and we both were pretty upset and unsure of why this "manager" was so impolite toward us. Overall, the experience here at the beautiful Ramada Inn was wonderful and I would definitely recommend this In to my friends. I was very satisfied with the overall experience with the staff and the environment.

We are in town for a wedding and due to hurricane/ tropical storm Maria, we were not able to access our beach house. It was only for a night & we have our 3.8lb chihuahua (also crate trained & very quiet dog). Every other hotel I contacted would not except Lola (our chi chi). THANK GOD FOR THE RAMADA and their extremely helpful/ accommodating staff. I didn't get the girls name on the phone, wishing I had because she was so helpful & instantly got us set up with something that didn't break our bank & met all of our needs. When we got there, maybe 1hr after contacting them, they already had our rooms ready for us & the manager on duty, I wanna say her name was Terri? (she was blonde) was more than helpful with all of our questions. We were all stressing about figuring something out for the night & the ramada literally was our rescue. So thank you a million times over! Another side note is that the bartender Robert was amazing, along with breakfast the following morning not disappointing us either. Everything was clean & we couldn't have asked for more.

Besides the hurricane, staff was for the most part nice. I understand the bar is slow but the male bartender was very rude. Trying to watch the Cubs game and be hands me the remote and tells me to find the channel Myself. I was told the outside bar would be open on the weekends but it was not and the weather was 76 and beautiful on Sunday so no reason why it shouldn't be. Pricey for not having free breakfast and last but not least the hot tub closed at 10pm. I'm on vacation and the hot tub closes at 10pm. That really pissed me off. The rooms were decent and the rest of the staff was nice. Beds were comfortable. An ok experience for my first time here.

The hotel is fine. The best part of the hotel is the location. The beds are okay, it really needs to be updated in the rooms. Are refrigerator leaked and it does have a little funny smell however for the location, it was clean and fine. The Jacuzzi was closed for repairs but the pool was open.

Overall a good place to stay for convince to beach access. Greatly disappointed by pool closing 30 mins early without any warning from hotel. Kids had just started to swim and pool was shutdown for maintenance without any warning. Could of put a sign up ahead of time. I paid to use pool during said open hours but would of understood if knew ahead of time so kids would not of been disappointed. Talked to front desk about it and she said maintenance does their own thing… Hmm they still work for the hotel though? Asked if manager was around she laughed and said a manger work over night. All in all if your looking for quick easy beach access this is the place but if your wanting a 5 star stay head else where. On top of that this morning we had a knock on our door prior to 8:30 am. It was house keeping seeing when we were going to leave so they could clean the room. Check out is not until 11am.

Really great staff — super friendly. Everyone said "hello" or "good morning", etc. Nice high speed internet and the rooms were super clean. Some of the tiling was a bit old, but neither here nor there.

Very nice hotel in a great location. We stayed one night, and the staff was great — very helpful with a couple of specific requests. The restaurant in the hotel (Peppercorns) is unexpectedly great — the seafood and pasta dishes were both very good. There is also a pool and direct access to a hotel boardwalk which will take you straight out to the beach. As an aside, this hotel is also very close to the Kill Devil Grill, which is very good.

It was OK. Not nearly as nice as the photos suggest. The rooms are decent, but the outside looks rather dated; seems kind of like Ramada had bought an old Days In and refurbished some parts but just painted over others. It's nice that they have beach access, and it's really convenient to be right off of the ocean. The indoor pool would be nice, but the water was really murky and kind of a weird greenish-brown when we were there. One of our mattresses was sunken-in really bad in the middle, not all the channels worked on the TV, and our shower curtain was mildewy and we had to get another one. The staff was nice whenever we talked to them. All in all, you could do worse, but for the money you could probably find something much better (especially considering they don't give you breakfast)

Just to let you know my daughter Jenny and granddaughter Destiny joined me on a once in a lifetime vacation to your wonderful hotel 7-18/7-21 upon arrival the check in was flawless. Bobby helped us to our ocean front room which was spotless, plenty of towels and the beds were extremely comfortable! I needed some extra pillows so within minutes I had them, he was also very helpful telling us about some points of interest. I had one small incident regarding our first visit to your restaurant which was quickly taken care of upon checkout. If I ever hear about anyone I know coming to the outer banks, your hotel will be strongly recommended. Robert/bartender was excellent, and the young gentleman that handled the chairs and umbrellas was a doll and a pleasure to work with. Thanks again for all your hospitality!

My mother was cornered and physically assaulted by a drunk/high/angry/agitated man in the hallway of the 3rd floor while staying at this hotel. She notified the front desk of this man and they were not concerned at all. Did not check on my mother and did not assure her that they would look into the matter. Who knows, maybe this man went on to hurt someone else that night. I would not recommend a place that is not concerned about the safety of their guests!

Incredible customer service! I was in a bind because I booked a horrible hotel down the street and needed to move to a cleaner place. Joshua from the front desk of Ramada was empathetic, found a room for me at a discount, and welcomed us with open arms. The rooms are extremely clean, staff is friendly and welcoming, INCREDIBLE location and amenities. I travel for work all around the country and have never been more pleased with a hotel!

Good hotel. Rooms are nice. Bar and food is good. Rooms are a nice size. The cons are the wall are paper thin and the quality of the mattress and rest of the room is just ok. We may stay there again.

The room itself was clean and had white sheets and a comfy bed, which was a huge plus. However, the hot tub was more luke warm & the street noise kept my husband up at night. I liked Sabrina the bird in the lobby & thought it was a nice touch.

Everyone there was super nice. Great location, very close to everything. Unfortunately, The hot tub was more like a Luke warm tub, and it was a bit too easy to hear folks in the parking lot from our room on the second floor.

This is one of the nicest beachside hotels I have stayed at. Great room service, friendly and helpful lobby (the lobby has a pet bird named Sabrina), and a great ocean view dining area. It includes exits to the beach and an indoor pool with Hot Tub. I enjoyed the weekend I spent here so much.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this Ramada more than anywhere we have stayed. The room was large, clean, quiet, and the view was perfect looking over the Atlantic Ocean. To top that was how courteous and friendly the staff was. Everyone from Ashley and Ann and others at the front desk to Bobby in maintenance and others, even the painters. All were willing to help in any way they could. They provided a wheelchair for my husband that helped me from having to get ours in and out of our car. Sabrina, their pet cockatoo was entertaining. The deck and swings made soaking up the sun fun. We will return.

Attended an expo as a vendor. Great meeting space. Lunch from the restaurant wasn't on time and the water and trash cans were a little neglected especially in the bathroom. Staff was responsive and friendly. Wi-Fi was ole fly of bandwidth for all of us. Ballrooms and general areas were clean and pretty. Love Sabrina the Umbrella Cockatoo. She's my buddy.

Great experience here! Was able tho get a room for a decent price at the last minute. Neat location right on the beach, adorable bird in the lobby.

Me and my wife have been here SEVERAL times and EVERY time we have found the staff to be very NICE and AWESOME. The restaurant inside (PEPPERCORN'S) has the BEST wings in the world. And yes we have traveled the world. Thanks Ramada for such a great stay, we'll be back!

Nice hotel. Staff willing to relocate us when room next to us was smoking. The hotel restaurant is very cool. Live music was top notch. Great prices for the area. Staff is super polite and friendly. I stay here once a month for business trips and will continue to do so.

We stay here 2 times a year for 5 days each stay. We are more than happy with the Hotel and the staff. We have done this for 8 years now. The only complaint is that as a frequent stayer. I would love to have a rate that reflects our support of this fine establishment.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff in the whole entire building was amazing, friendly,. They make you feel as if you are home with all the comfort. Everything is clean from every room to the restaurant, the ppl at the restaurant outstanding and the bartender amazing. The pools are clean, the beach is beautiful clean. Very friendly place to go. The people are very nice. I had such amazing stay and I shall be returning back. I want to thank every staff members in the ramanda hotel for all there kindness. Every part of that bui9and people Was amazing. Than you guus for making me feel just right at home, and even better.

The hotel lobby reminded me of a high scale hotel. My king size oceanview room was very clean. Housekeeping diligently replaced our bathroom towels, they did their job very well. The front desk staff was very professional, polite and eager to answer any of our questions. I would definitely recommended the Ramada Inn in Nags Head to any first time visitors to the OBX. Althought, I do recommend that any couples should pick a king size oceanview room with jacuzzi to add an extra element of romance to your stay. Overall, great hotel, in a great location.

We had a great stay here. The property is right in the beach. You can rent (cash or room charge) and umbrella and chairs from the hotel at about $15 per day and they will even set it up and put it away for you at the end of the day! Two downsides: first, the room seemed to stay on the warmer side even when set to 60 degrees, curtains drawn and lights turned down or off. Second, the Wi-Fi is terrible. It's advertised as "high speed" but I want to use it in the room. It probably shouldn't be advertised as an available room amenity its that bad. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

For the most part it's what you would expect from a hotel. It's relatively clean and it's certainly a place to stay for a night or two, but the employee selection could improve, the restaurant has almost no selection, and of course the Wi-Fi signal is only decent in the lobby. The few good points include a decent ocean view and convenient USB charging ports by the beds. The pool is also alright, but not exceptional (rather small).

After being charged the regular old room rate, we were given the smallest room in the building (there's a map of the rooms on the back of the door of every room. So yeah, smallest one). Fan in the bathroom: DOA. Balcony door: light shining in all around it. Not sure what to think. Upkeep of the Lobby: Fabulous! Upkeep of the rest of the building: there wasn't any, oh man. Definitely not a fan of the ultra cheap plastic chairs on the balconies, but hey, wasn't mentioned as an amenity so why did I expect more? The view was decent because we were on the third floor and it was just high enough to see over the dunes (first and second floor folks, ocean view doesn't exist, careful that you at least get third floor or you're SOL on seeing the ocean. ) Ok, negative aside. The pool was great, the hot tub was great, and the outer banks have tons to do so we were able to stay out of the room as much as humanly possible. Overall the prices do not reflect the quality of the establishment. Check the size of your room before you agree to anything and make sure everything works in the room.

Horrible!. This place has dirty sheets that have blood stains, barking dogs, room SMELLED BAD, and then people smoking marijuana throughout the whole damn hotel. I would highly not recommend this place ever!. Ever!. I do mean ever!. I had to leave because the place was so bad. Went in 9:30 p. M and left at 9:45 p. M thats how bad of a stay it was and i'm still waiting on refund.

I recently stayed in this hotel and brought my dog with me. This says its a 'Pet Friendly' hotel but you would think the staff/housekeepers would be accepting and not scared of animals that are staying here. Every time I took my dog out to use the bathroom or go for a walk, a housekeeper would scream and run back in the room! Very disrespectful! Aren't these housekeepers told that is a 'Pet Friendly' hotel and trained to clean rooms with pets in them?! I have a yellow Lab — who is friendly and a good dog! Another experience with this 'Pet Friendly' hotel — I ran out to my car to grab something and not even within 5 minutes I got a phone call from the front desk saying my dog was barking too much! Isn't a 'Pet Friendly' hotel suppose to be all about pets?! I do not think it is worth it to pay $25 pet deposit a night if they are not really 'Pet Friendly. ' I would definitely NOT recommend staying in this hotel with your pet.

Ramada Plaza is nice place of oceanfront. Best impress is the main lobby is amazing with falling water and welcome free cookies and water with lemons. The room is clean but almost. Hallway is ugliest ever I see and need update seriously.

Exactly what we expected. You look at all of the motor lodges and misleadingly named motels and are thankful you chose to pay more for a place like this. Best thing about the place is the staff. They were all very friendly and professional. Pool was nice but to have to walk through it to get to the beach is a little annoying. One beach go-er rinsed her sandy feet in the jacuzzi and walked away while my wife was in it. Rooms were clean. We had a balcony facing the ocean and we were fortunate to have a room on the third floor because a weedy dune blocks the view on the first and second floor.

My wife and I stayed here recently, and were very pleased! The staff was incredibly friendly! The room was clean, and the beds were some of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at a hotel! Great job! We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for our 8th grade class trip. The hotel was clean, hospitable, food was great and there was not a problem that they could not handle. The rooms with ocean view are really nice and the beds are super comfortable and cozy. I'll be back with my family.
