Review of Hyatt Place Greensboro 3*

I think everyone should know the staff here is absolutely fantastic! I traveling here from Southern California for a wedding this past weekend. Checked in late on a Friday night and checked out on Monday. Overall the rooms are very nice. Good layout and nice upgrades. While all of that is important I really MUST emphasize the great staff! Below is why: 1) Saturday morning I walk down at 10:05 (5minutes pas the free continental breakfast was over) asking for the breakfast and unlike most other hotels I've stayed at, the lady at the front didn't give me an ounce of attitude, she kindly apologized it was over but walked over really quick to offer me the coffee they still had available. Out in socal, you bet, the staff would have rolled their eyes and looked at me like I was ridiculous and rude! Not here. 2) I forgot my room number and lost my room key. I stood in the hallway trying to remember where I had stayed and without even having to ask for help two staff members nearby walked over and volunteered to find my room for me. The general manager called down and got the whole situation straightened out and had a new card made for me, no questions asked and was very understanding of the whole situation. Very helpful. Never once did they make me feel like that annoying dud, I clearly was starting to be. 3) At the end of the stay, I left in a hurry and managed to forget my wallet with $150 and gemstone necklace from Jareds jewelers. 2 days later I have my wallet, all of my cash AND my necklace back in CA with me What a great staff! For the last 5 years I've worked at the Disneyland resort, now if you've ever stayed at any Disney resorts you know what I mean when I refer to the "Disney experience" but even with its pride in its "Disney standards" and making magic happen, had this happened at the resort, I can't say my wallet nor my necklace would have turned up intact like it did at the Hyatt Place n Greensboro, NC.
