Paid for delux Queen room they gave us a standard Queen. When my family and I first got there we thought it may have been a standard but surely the woman who checked us in and gave us our room cards knew that when she checked us in we had paid for a delux and we had been on the road for 4 hrs so we were just excited to be there. The room was small and nice but our feet would turn black after walking on the carpet. I've never stayed in a hotel room that the carpet turned our feet black I mean u could actually wash the black stuff off of your foot with a baby wipe. It wasn't till a couple days after we came home that we were looking at rooms on the schular inn website that we realized we had stayed in a standard Queen when we had paid for a delux so I called back right then to tell them of their mistake and see if I could get the 10 dollar difference a night back and I talked to a man named Ron who acted like he couldn't believe I was calling over what I was calling about and said to call back tomorrow and talk to the GM. I will update my review tomorrow after I talk to the GM. Update 3-14-16 I talked to the general manager today and she told me that because of the hotel being under renovations they didn't have any deluxe rooms available so the standards were lower? It didn't make any sense because when we made the reservations there was a option for standard and deluxe and the standard was cheaper and again we paid for the deluxe. We are not picky I only called to see if I could get the 40 dollar difference back and furthermore we were not aware of any renovations prior to booking the room and the general manager Joyce told me that she didn't owe me any money back that I didn't pay for anything more that I shouldn't have. Me and my wife paid for a deluxe room and they put us in a standard room.
