Remarkably odd. Menu was an interesting read, somewhat enticing but, oh no no no, the food was remarkably unsavory. The food tasted as if it was purposefully unpalatable. The service was entertaining. Maybe bad at times but I enjoyed the manic dynamic. Had 1 excellent bartender.

Placed our order, only to be told that they 'ran out' of those items. Also, food quality was mediocre.

Great location, food was mediocre at best. We were the only people in the restaurant. It was a ghost town. Prices were reasonable but, not for the food we were served.

Watching the sunrise over the water from my private deck with coffee? Yes, please! An enjoyable experience from beginning to end. A wonderful birthday weekend.

Just a really spectacular location and facility. Always parking in the summer and just not congested.

Very nice. Clean. We just went to meet Santa and they had a cute little social event with cookies, juice and a roaring fire!

Friendly staff offering great rates with excellent service. I motored here with my boat one year, and was offered a slip for my stay, as well as shuttle service. I was very pleased with Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina, on all levels. Thanks.

An excellent place to stay. Very comfortable rooms, clean. Was able to see the beach from my hotel room. Friendly staff. Easy to get to.

The food and bar quality were lacking when compared to the price. Decent rooms but the level of hospitality was reminiscent of a DMV. The warmth was not really there. Place could easily be great if the staff were hospitality focused. Probably a management issue setting this type of tone from the top.

We stayed in a bungalow with a marina view. There were cigarette buds an beer can tops on our deck. Our room wasn't clean until I asked someone to come at 2pm. Our personal wine glasses were stolen out of the room by the cleaning staff and discarded. It was really bad to the extent that I was connected to speak with Charlie Irons, VP of hospitality. But how he handled the situation was really the reason why this place is the way it is, you get promised the world and then they disappear. This strategy was used not only by Charlie but the Management here. Never again will I stay here and I highly recommend anywhere else but this place. We found Montauk Beach Club to be 100% better!

Beautiful area, great dock, pricey drinks.

Negative first; Where did they find their front desk staff? This is the first person that hotel guests see and they put a person with such a lack of personality or enthusiasm at the front desk? During our stay at the marina I needed help from the front desk staff on a few occasions and every time I had to deal with the Pilipino looking woman it was like talking to the wall. I'd say good morning or good afternoon and just got a blank stare back. Thank you, no "you're welcome" in reply, and she could barely answer any of my questions or she would delegate responsibility onto someone else. Awful awful, put her in an office somewhere. The rest of the stay was pleasant. Small gym though, 3 pools, fun resto/bar with a great bar scene, okay Marina facilities, but Wi-Fi was lousy, can't comment on the hotel rooms. Shuttle is great during the day, but TERRIBLE at night. We were left waiting for over 30 minutes on two occasions and every time we'd call to ask we would be told "he's arriving in a few minutes — frustrating. This is basically a very old hotel which they're doing an okay keep at maintaining. FYI — it is full of people who fit Long Island stereotypes 100% accurately, so if that doesn't sound appealing look elsewhere.

We had a group of about 20 or so go out for a sunset cruise. Kieth and Jaime were amazing and we all had the best time. Beautiful sunset.

Nice facility, good room, clean, good restaurant, small indoor and outdoor pools. Small bay beach with stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Only complaint is that it was more money than it should be for the size of room you get.

We loved our stay. The room and the location were lovely. The facilities are great. We came during a quiet time so we were able to get a good rate. We also enjoyed the poolside restaurant.

Lovely place, very upper-class. There happened to be a wedding when I was there and the staff was phenomenal. Everyone was polite and knew where to go. Gorgeous views, outstanding food, would definitely visit again.

Wonderful setting on water with marina. Service is well below expectation for the prices they get. Staff is poorly managed from the front desk, to housekeeping to the wait staff.

Rooms were clean and cozy. Drinks at the bar were priced reasonably. It was a little cold, but I would love to go back when the weather gets warmer.

Definitely they need more staff. It took one day to fix the internet and we called 3 times for broken coffee machine and waited more than 2 hours to get a new one. Rooms need to be updated. The worst part was that we had a hard time sleeping and relaxing because we could hear neighbors from upstairs all day and night. Had to checkout early. Not a good experience at all.

Service is beyond compare. Staff is respectful and able to hsbdi.

Great place, high quality bar and restaurant. Rooms are fairly good with patios and balconies. We came in mid March when it was just getting opened for the season and will definitely be back when everything's in full swing this summer!

Great time there for the summer. Lots to do.

Kid friendly and pet friendly. Great food and staff. I look forward every year to go back.

Good place for corp events.

A lovely place to venture for a long weekend to get away. Not that it takes much to make The Hampton's feel anymore special, but The Yacht Club did just that. The rooms are large and recently renovated. The staff were wonderful. I've already made plans to return this fall.

Never been there. But they asked me to five stars them hahahah. Im just kidding, such an awesome place.

I chose this location to stay in Montauk because they allow small dogs and it looked luxurious. For the price they charge I wanted to be spoiled, and heard good things. Pros: the grounds are immaculate and amazing views. Probably a great hotel if you dont have a pet or stay in the rooms that accomodate pets. Cons: Walls are paper thin. We got to spend hours each day listening to the neighbors dog bark nonstop for hours while left alone each day. Also got to hear that same neighbor have a breakdown screaming the F word for about an hour and a half nonstop one night. Other guests do not abide by pet rules AT ALL (leaving pet alone even when notified not to). The allowable pet areas are not easily identified on the grounds. At the outside restaurant where you apparently seat yourself, we waited over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. So, needless to say, I was not happy with my stay.

My wife and I stayed here for our 3rd anniversary back in November. We love this place! We had a room in one of the little "houses" on the far end. We were able to bring our dog with us and let her run around in the big open grass area to get her energy out before we headed out to do stuff. The room was perfect. The price was incredible that time of year. I only have great things to say about this place. We were not ready to leave and we can't wait to go back.

Very Pretty, a bit pricey but, YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Classy, fun and relaxed. Worth every penny.

-Beautiful place but undesirable service- This resort is located deep in scenic Montauk, at the far end of Long Island. Attractive beaches stretch on for miles and the ocean breeze keeps the temperature cool and comfortable. The hotel rooms were clean and the common spaces had charming decor. I attended a delightful wedding reception in the main hall and marina area. The crew there just seemed understaffed. I waited for over an hour to get the attention of a bartender as he tended to a whole room of wedding attendees. The following day, while I was out, my room wasn't cleaned.
