Great hotel, more affordable than Times Square hotels. Rooms lovely, staff very friendly. Subway really close and can be in central manhattan in 15 minutes, would really recommend.

We always come here for brunch. The best place to have brunch in LIC. The service is very kind and attentive, and food is just delicious. Great coffee too!

We were here for a Sunday brunch, took omelette with rice and chicken and pancakes, with coffee. The coffee was great as well as the food. Very welcoming staff, had a great time.

The space is cute, quiet, and rustic, and the beet salad was very tasty. My gripe is that their menu is simplistic and cheese heavy, and that the staff, excepting one woman, seemed rather disinterested.

Great room… great price… friendly staff… cleanest hotel room I have ever been in… very convenient to subway… great local bars and restaurants to walk to! Fabulous views of the NYC skyline at night on the rooftop deck… We will be back for sure!

Very friendly staff, extremely clean. Only complaint, no kettle, coffee, tea or sugar in the room, so had to go to a shop along the road if you wanted a drink in the evening.

Great little spot, quite popular these days. Indoor and outdoor space. Good for a brunch, not too stuffy and friendly service.

The food here is so fresh and light but full of flavor. There's usually a good sized crowd for lunch and especially for brunch, so plan accordingly. I don't think they take reservations. Come on a nice day and you can sit in the back porch to take in the fresh air and sunny skies.

My go to spot for the steak. They have the best aged Rib-eye steak (M ~ F, dinner only) around LIC area. Don't forget to ask for extra spicy sauce. Burger come next, follow by Shrimp (a starters)

Never had a bad meal here after five times. Very consistently good and they keep their menu fresh. During warmer days they have cute outdoor space. Great for brunch on weekends and dinner any day.

The food was really top notch. Atmosphere and staff also helped create an excellent brunch experience. Would recommend any time.

Me and my gf's favorite weekend brunch spot. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. We became regulars here and now the Mgr. Matt always greets us with a smile and makes time to even talk to us. The dinner here is also nothing short of amazing. Get the rib eye for dinner as you will most definitely not regret it. Small and quaint spot that does get packed especially for brunch. Just do yourself a favor and go for brunch or dinner.

Are here once for lunch and it was amazing. Definitely taking the husband back for date night! Food was delicious, good prices, and great ambiance.

Nice quaint place. Went here during the NYC marathon for breakfast. They have scrumptious selections but the best dish for breakfast was their pancakes made with a fresh batter. Eggs were ok, bacon good along with soft toast. Definitely worth the wait for breakfast.

I have been coming to this great restaurant since it opened. It was a welcome arrival in an area that had a limited selection. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, the wait staff is generous, courtious and knowledgeable. I would totally recommend this restaurant, but please keep it a little quiet so I can get a table.

This place is small and amazing. I have gone here for brunch a few times and have always had a great time. It is best to go with smaller groups (2-4 people) as the size is small. They have a very cute spot outside in a covered section that is really nice to be seated in. The food is very well priced and the staff is super friendly.

This is my second time at the LIC, love it, great price, great room, very very clean and tidy, fresh sheets and towels every day, great breakfast, fantastic staff always very friendly and helpful, it’s what a NY hotel should be, somewhere to sleep and shower in comfort, after all you don’t come to NY to sit in a hotel all day BUT if you do stay in there is a very large TV in the room, the roof offers fantastic views of the NYC skyline and you could spend an evening up there with your takeaway food as there are tables under cover to, there may not be any tea/coffee making facilities in the room but just shift your large carcass outside and go for a walk down to the court square diner, right next to the elevated 7 line, 1 tea 1coffee to take away = $2 and if you sit in for food is fantastic and cheep, all in all the LIC Hotel is brilliant and in a very friendly neighbourhood, I will definitely come back again.

Being a frequent 5 star hotel guest " in Australia for work" I found this hotel impeccably clean, Very strong water pressure for shower which is great, Small bathroom but shower is large, plenty of draws for folded clothes, some hanging space but no cupboard, Rooms are small, small desk & 1 office chair, we didn't spend much time other than sleeping in our room so that was ok with us, remembering the low price, the Breakfast is consistent each day, Scrambled eggs & boiled eggs some days, 4 or 5 different Bagel varities, wheat & white bread for toast, butter, cream cheese & Grape jelly options, 2 Cereals, 2 fruits Apple & Oranges) orange juice, Apple Juice, Coffee & Tea Blk/green, sausages & streaky Bacon… can get busy around 7:30 — 8:30!
Two Good "as close to Australian coffee" options within 2 blocks The Mill & LIC Corner Cafe, service is slow but coffee is better than alternatives. A few good restaurants near by, James Brown Smokehouse is an expirence, if you like your meat! Must eat at Cafe Henri Long Island (French Cafe) is great for food, service & Coffee also, LIC Market a bit more expensive but good food.

We live in the neighborhood and this is by far our favorite weekly go-to restaurant. Always incredible service and delicious food. Beverage list is fun to try out as well.

The broccoli rabe is absolutely delicious! Great music and vibe. Almost forgot I had to go back to work.

Had breakfast here on a trip to NYC because it was close to our hotel. We loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day. Would have tried their dinner menu too if we had stayed longer. The food was amazing, not too expensive, and the service was fantastic. Very fast and attentive wait staff.

The intimate atmosphere is cozy and warm. This feeling thoroughly extends itself through the staff and the presentation of the food is on point. However, the food itself is average. The grilled cheese hardly has any flavor aside from the robust starchy taste of the perfectly chewy french bread. The tomato soup is disappointing and seems to lack seasoning. Perhaps a nice place to drink with a small group of friends.

Food is always good at LIC Market. Great spot for brunch. It can get busy so be prepared for a wait.

A very cozy rustic restaurant with a great offering for brunch hours. The patio can get a little too hot but the service makes up for it and the food was very delish. Waiting times are average but the food comes out quick.

Great place to stay! 3 minutes to the subway (1-3 stops to Manhattan) and a great view of the Manhattan skyline from the roof top… You don't have to stay in Manhattan and see a wall outside your window, better stay in LIC so you have the great view! Clean and not too small rooms and breakfast included. Would stay here again​!

This is the kind of place that I go to and think, wow… it's so hard to stand out as an excellent restaurant these days. Everything was good. Good food, service, atmosphere, but nothing was excellent. Maybe I need too think that this is a great neighborhood joint.

The hotel is very nice and clean.

The hotel is very easy to reach with the subway. The room service left to be desired of 7 nights our room was only 3 times aifgeräumt. With the subway E you reach all the important nodal points to get to Manhattan and the E-Bahn goes to the intersection of the shuttle line to JFK airport. Staff very nice and helpful Moreover, this area is also very safe late at night.

Clean, comfortable rooms in a nice neighborhood. The have a simple, but delicious continental breakfast. The roof has a lovely view of the city. I was pleased with my stay and plan on staying there again on my next visit to the city.

On my reservation I jokingly requested they hide a picture of Kevin Bacon in the room for my wife to find (she can't stand him for some reason). I forgot I had requested it and the picture surprised both of us. For this reason alone, they've earned 5 stars. The hotel is also comfortable, conveniently located, and priced very well. I have no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at the LIC hotel! The localization next to the subway is perfect, making it easy to explore Manhattan. The hotel itself and room were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Also, the whole staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our stay was perfect, we really enjoyed it and would strongly recommand the LIC hotel!

The rooms are clean, bright, spacious, and very comfortable. I had double beds. The bathroom was clean, with a roomy shower and a hair dryer. Breakfast was included which was amazing. Definitely worth the price, will stay here again! Only problem is I usually like to travel with my pet, but no pets allowed.

The wood flooring is a major plus. Gives the room a clean feeling. The rooms are bright and spacious. I had the king bed room and it was very comfortable. I am very happy with the water pressure in the shower. I have long thick hair and always have issues with hotel showers as they don't usually have enough pressure to wash the shampoo off my hair. This is perfect for me. The hotel is clean and quiet. The view from the roof is amazing and from my window I could see the Queensborogh Bridge. Breakfast is also included which is a plus. In regards to parking, it's $20 a day but if you find a spot on the side of the road it's free.

The hotel is excellent. "Drawbacks" can be classified as a lack of vegetables for breakfast and a lack of power training in the gym. (Orbitrek and bicycle only)

Nice new hotel. Proximity to Metro stations in the direction of Manhattan. Good value for money in New York. Room a little small for 2 people, but for a sleep station between the sightseeing tours very sufficient. Rooftop Terrace offers a great view of the skyline.

The price is excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
