The Doorman was terrific and and the hotel was well appointed. Aside from that this is the least accommodating hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. It is truly a shame that such an aesthetically pleasing space can be made so cold and soul-less by its employees. We felt like we were not welcome and that every request we made was a massive inconvenience.

First-time guest at this outstanding Hotel. The location, room accommodations, amenities, staff and meals were outstanding as well. It was suggested by a colleague and we were very pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return to this well kept secret.

Love their lounge more than the bar because it's chill and elegant. However the bar is full of energy and upbeat. All up to how you feel if you can't choose. The menu is same in the bar and the lounge. Of course exlent service. I like their burger.

Absolutely breathtaking. After studying Hospitality for years it was awe-inspiring to see every theory in practice at work here. My friend and I walked into the bar and fell in love. They answered our more ridiculous questions with grace and not a hint of condescension. The chandelier’s are an absolute must see even if you don’t drink and if you do, please try the bespoke.

Well located hotel with great design and mostly very friendly staff. Unfortunately in the rooms partially worn out or defective (WC seat defective and brackets all loose). Permanent noise from outside was not communicated and also not taken seriously at the reception, despite 2 suites at more than 3000 USD per night. No change to another room possible.
Extremely incompetent service at the reception… Shuttles didn't show up or in the wrong place. At the checkout, they wanted to charge everything (more than 9000 USD) again, even though all services were paid in full 2 months in advance. Even after the investigation of the incident extremely arrogant and then you still wanted to calculate benefits twice. Never again!

Simply the most stunning hotel in all of Manhattan. Epitome of classy and luxurious. Nothing comes close. The rooms are modern, stylish, and downright gorgeous. If you are going to splurge in the city, this is the place to be. Incredible staff matches the incredible decor.

I'd give it a 5 star with a possibility of improvement. When you pay 4 times the price if a regular room but don't get a service that is 4 times better, you have room to improve.

Amazing cocktails. But be ready for sticker shock and come well heeled. You should probably dress up, too.

At the bar the atmosphere is nice and lively. Restaurant is very casual. Signature cocktails are not memorable and service isn't flawless.

Very good, old NY style place, exclusive being expensive but worth for going wt a special someone on a date, bar is awesome and so is the restaurant which has a longue like feel.

Great food the tuna tartar was exquisite and so was the octopus. The prices were outrages though. The service and interior are also very nice.

Over the top luxury and refined cocktails. Been loving on this place for years, and one of the best kept secrets in midtown. I️ can only speak to the bar and lounge but worth a stop after you’re in he neighborhood to sip on the near perfect cocktail list that rotates seasonally. They have also a highly curated wine list and hard liquor assortment. In the spirit your cocktail comes in one of their signature crystal glasses by type. Art is everywhere along with women furs and boogie euros. A fine time.

Amazing experience in the bar and grand salon, but over the top but welcome to New York! Try and get reservations before you arrive so you don’t have to wait. Afternoon tea in the grand salon is a must.

Very nice atmosphere and beautiful glassware but you definitely pay for it. Great selection of alcohol. Didn't have the food so can't comment.

This is a beautiful luxury hotel, 5 stars all the way. Reminds me of Paris, hotel smell so good and the staff is amazing. Every detail is to perfection! Highly recommend staying at this hotel when in New York!

Living here is truly the best experience in Manhattan. I haved lived in another building but this is next to none. The team in this building makes coming home so much better. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

When I tell you this is the best bar/hotel in the entire country I am NOT exaggerating! This is the most opulent experience I have had in my 39 years. So worth it, great cocktails, food, decor and most importantly staff! Ask for Deb at the bar and watch her do some magic for you!

Fantastic. The service was incredible. We found that our baby food supplies didn't work in America so ended up having to order our weaning purees from the in room dining and it was fantastic. Happy me happy baby.

Good location in the heart of midtown. Literally across from MoMA. Rooms are very lavishly decorated with app controlled lighting, blinds, TV. Great bathrooms with waterfall showers and a dedicated concierge to help plan your stay. Lot of fun and will definitely be here again.

My family and I are staying at the Baccarat Hotel in NYC… Amazing hotel! Suites and rooms are large and beautifully appointed and staff have been very courteous and helpful! Can't wait to spend the next week here enjoying the Baccarat and NYC!

Very nice place. The accommodations are exceptional, only exceeded by the staff. I was a guest of a resident, and am not used to such luxury, so my perspective may be a bit narrow. Try the pancakes!

The Baccarat is one of the most beautiful hotels in Manhattan. Very discreet and across the street from MOMA. We had a great suite with a comfortable living room and bedroom. Great bathroom layout. We loved the restaurant! I would definitely stay here again.

Fall in love. This is a seriously beautiful and luxurious hotel in NY. Luxury is often about privacy, discreteness and elegance as much as it is about the physical surroundings — this perfect hotel as it all. Moody and sensual entry across the road from MoMA, the check in experience is exceptional, the concierge service is world class and the F&B staff are polite, timely and have the right amount of panache. The rooms are simply beautiful. We stayed in a suite with 4 poster bed, stunning furniture and dining table. Everything about the room — down to the TV hidden behind the mirror at the end of the bed — is exquisite. Distinctly French. The main Dining, lounge is one the most amazing rooms you will experience. The espresso martinis are the best in NY at the busy and crowded but classy bar — lots of high end NY types. The gym is first class with both high end cardio equipment and weights for a serious work out. The massage I got — saved my life after a 28 hour journey. I don't care if you think it's expensive just stay here — you will love it … 6 stars.

If any of you are looking for really good hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Twenty-two years ago we came to NYC to run the Marathon. So many of those memories of where we stayed, where we ate and sights we took in blurred by time. We basically started from scratch in planning our trip this time around. First and foremost was where to stay. This aspect of planning a trip made easier by the Internet led us to the Baccarat Hotel. New on the city horizpn, the on-line pictures were enticing to say the least. Our travel agent suggested many other well known establishments, in fact she had not even heard of the Baccarat. We were intent on giving it a chance. It exceeded our expectations at every turn. Location was superb, rooms contemporary, yet so comfortable it was hard to venture out in the morning and we were always eager for our return. The service was what you would hope for in a five-star hotel but often don't receive. The cast was professional but not stuffy. Our special gratitude goes out to our Concierge, Alejandra De Los Santos. She took time to listen and had an uncanny ability to match our requests with great food and local ambiance, giving us the true NYC experience. Her suggestions for taking in some of the city's iconic landmarks ensured we left with lasting impressions and a thirst for maiking sure our next trip to New York includes the Baccarat Hotel and is not another twenty-two ye.

Public spaces too cramped. For a new, purpose built luxury hotel it appears little thought has been put into the design of these important spaces. A great travesty! The bar seating area is far too narrow as is the Grand Salon. Grand means magnificent and imposing in appearance or size. While the Baccarat chandeliers are grand, the space is certainly not. The word grand is a great exaggeration. If you want to see grand, then visit The Plaza Hotel down the street and marvel. Access to the lobby and reception is through two small entry doors on the ground level to which you then need to catch an elevator to the second floor. The door people display none of the warm, friendliness typical of the New Yorkers. These staff members are too busy trying to imitate arrogant French staff or just being French, which don't have any time for you or the guests. This is the type of hotel where the staff feel more important than the guests. Think Hotel Costes in Paris. This means no smiling staff and glaring security guards at every entrance or doorway. So go there to see its pretty crystal and because you want to be treated like a stray dog feeling like you're in a very small kennel.
