The hotel was great! Great location close to Grand Central. The bar had a good wine selection. My only suggestion: they need more hooks to hang towels. They had signs requesting for towels to be reused in order to be environmentally friendly; however, there was only one hook. Clearly if this is my only complaint, it was an overall great stay.

Small rooms but was really never there so it served its purpose… for sleeping. Love the workout equipment and videos in the rooms! Would stay there again for sure! They offer meal plans with your stay. Nice location, not too busy but still very close walk to time square. Parking garage available right next to hotel.

I want Even every where please! And at night they gave the empty room to the homeless during the cold months I will pay extra for the humanity and love towards those less fortunate. Even hotels rock.

My sister and I stayed here on the weekend of June, 17th 2018. Initially I booked my room through a third party and was not satisfied when I arrived to only have a King Bed. However, Patrick at the front desk was very professional and helpful. Also, the bartender/waitress was just as pleasant and informative about the area. I love the rooms and hotel location. Hotel is in a great location, filled with fitness oriented quotes and snacks. Fresh OJ can be found in the lobby, and even the rooms have yoga mats, exercise balls, and other tools required for certain workouts. Staff was friendly, too!

We were having work done on our apartment last minute and were able to get a room at a very reasonable rate here. They are even pet-friendly for a fee. We ended up boarding our pets instead. However, the staff was super nice and accommodating. Had a drink at the bar, sat in the outdoor space which was small but lovely — — as New Yorkers know, it is a rare treat to have! The room was spotless and well cared for by a very friendly & thorough housekeeping staff member named Sangay. She made our visit great! I don't know why this hotel would get any complaints unless people are not from NYC. It is excellent for the price and while it was a small room (all NYC hotel rooms are! ) the lounge on the first floor gave you space to sprawl if you wanted it. Great AC & cable, shower pressure was good too. We never used the gym but they have one. Definitely would stay here again!

A great place to spend when in New York. In walking distance to most important places, not far to the metro and still in a rather quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, good beds and big bathrooms. The place is very clean, friendly staff. The kitchen offers a variety of delicious options for breakfast, all natural and healthy.

Very good, very clean. We had a good time. The hotel location is very good. 15 minutes walk from the center. There are a few restaurants near by. Very good service.

This is my second time staying at the EVEN hotel brookylnn. My first time I was in a double room. This time I was in a king sized. The price wasn't bad compared to other places in the area. Overall I had a good stay. It's a great local Location. Everything is easily accessible by public transportation. There's even a decent shopping area in walking distance. Lots of good restaurants to try in the area too. My first time I felt like it was cleaner but both rooms were a good size. I didn't use any of the exercise equipment but I thought it was cool there were many different work out options and some equipment in the room to use. The desk staff were nice and helpful. My only real complaint is that the towels and shower looked a little dingy which made me paranoid about the cleanliness.

Good new rooms, super efficient. Clean and a good midtown location. Gym is silly… not a free weight in sight. Room is cluttered with a yoga ball and some stretchy "resistance bands", which might be good for a geriatric patient, but no one else.

I was surprised at the quality and cleanliness of this location. It's conveniently located and the prices were better than I expected. The rooms were well appointed and had great views of the city. The lobby has a huge fitness center, and a decent cafe with a moderate selection of food and alcohol. The only minor annoyance was the cooks tendency to play with his phone instead of dealing with orders.

Good location. Loved the cafe across the street. 24hr Duane reade around the corner. Concept of fitness for the room is unique and refreshing. Good amenities. Room size is small, pretty much like every other hotel room in the city. No complaints.

My parents loved staying here. The rooms and common areas are well designed and thought out. Best of all the hotel staff made every effort to please. Well done!

Quite possibly one of the most unique hotels I've visited. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Offer jump ropes, exercise ball, yoga mats, and more in the room as well as instructional videos on exercise options. In the lobby, fruit infused water is available in several flavors to drink while you wait to check in. Walking distance to subway station and other points of interest. Girl who checked us in recommended local underground market to check out while we visited. Thanks for the tip, it was awesome! Will stay again the next time we visit Brooklyn!

Great location and good rooms. The staff is incredible and incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and makes your stay enjoyable. One of the favorite part of my business trip is catching up with Albert and having a drink at the bar after a long day. He’s a genuinely awesome person and it’s been great to get to know him as I’ve spent more time in the city for work. And he always makes sure good beers are available :)

Never again will we stay in Manhattan after staying at EVEN Brooklyn! The hotel was clean, the front desk staff were AMAZING (always friendly and helpful) and I can’t forget to mention the AWESOME bartender Jodie! Grant it, it’s location isn’t as convenient to Time Square as I am used to but there are plenty of shops and restaurants close to them too. The nightly rates are great too! EVEN Hotel Brooklyn will definitely be the hotel I stay in going forward. Thank you guys!

This is a cozy, health conscious hotel. The room is equipped with an exercise ball and other exercise equipment. They off infused water in the lobby. The room is a little small but it served its purpose. My only complaint, the window shades are see through. You can see right into the other rooms so there is no privacy. Even worse, the sun beams in first thing in the morning. I recommend an eye mask if you want to sleep in.

It was a clean hotel with an overall theme of health and fitness. Each room came with exercise equipment and there are channel on the TV explaining how to use the equipment. An incredible concept for a decent price. Would stay there again!

Organized comfortable good cleaning service and tidying up rooms near the Metro.

I can't really complain any about this hotel. The rooms were really modern with a nice TV and sweet bathroom. There was also equipment to perform yoga, which I did not utilize. Personnel was very helpful and kind and I can't complain about the cleaning service. Food was great, or at least the breakfasts and late night snacks I had. Seems like all of the breakfast foods come with a small glass sized cup filled with fresh fruits. There was a self service 24/7 food place where you could buy sandwiches, drinks, energy bars etc.

Great location and incredible staff. Concept is cool but I went for work and the high table desks were very difficult to work on. The staff were amazing and let me use a board room each night and gave me incredible options to eat. I would return for the service but not for work trips.

A fairly modern and well-kept hotel. For 4 stars, the rooms are a bit small. The front desk staff are friendly, but overall everything is quite impersonal.

Love it! Great aesthetic, amenities, location if you desire quick access to any of the five boroughs. Some street parking and lots close by. In-room fitness equip was great too. Main Highlight was the level of cleanliness. My primary choice when I return.

Easy check-in, comfy & clean room with extra goodies like a variety of shower gels, eco friendly facial soaps, nice view, positive environment and GREAT staff. This place is not far from Manhattan and honestly it’s worth the ride! I was extremely happy with my room, the rate and location. Your front desk staff are happy girls, I loved it! They requested a cab for us to take us to the airport and even that was Great!

Stayed here when needing an overnight stay in Brooklyn. It was rated as a 4 star hotel. No one to greet at the door and help with bags. Parking is in the garage across the street. Save some money and park yourself. Rooms were interesting, quiet and clean. Very tiny… the "desk" would not have all been useful if I needed one. Overall, friendly staff and clean.

This is by far my favorite hotel in downtown Brooklyn. The staff is extremely friendly and area knowledgeable. The hotel gives a really healthy, fresh vibe. The rooms are spacious and clean, even sporting body weight exercise equipment, yoga mat and a foam roller. The two reasons why I stay here are 1-the exercise studio, (sporting Woodway treadmills! ) and 2-the awesome feature of not only spa waters when you enter the hotel, but having filtered water and ice dispensers on every Even floor. I'm never disappointed and highly recommend staying here.

Great hotel in downtown Brooklyn close to many shops and restaurants. We had a double bedroom with two enormous beds, which were very comfortable, large bathroom, good quality linens and towels and an excellent housekeeping service during our 7 day stay. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone tries their best to answer your questions and help you in any way they can. Rooms are very pricey for the size. The bed was very short, I am 5' 7", and my feet were hanging off the end.

My stay was fine, and it was a nice hotel. After I had paid they asked for a credit card for incidentals on the room. After that they then billed that card several hundreds of dollars. When I called to get it fixed I was transferred several times resulting in being disconnected and put on hold many times. I have spent around 45 minutes on the phone and not talked to anyone who was capable or willing to help me.

Good location, comfy bed, clean rooms. Hotel is kind of loud. I heard a lot of noise from the halls and outside. It didn't bother me but if you are a very light sleeper it may bother you.

Clean, nice gym, great location. BUT, the beds are not standard king beds, they're short… maybe 5'6" or so. Being 6' tall, I didn't exactly fit and had to sleep on an angle. All rooms were the same, we checked some others. Sorry but this is a punk way to cut corners on cost at the expense of your customers. I wouldn't say the front desk/manager exactly "cared" either when I mentioned it… like it was my imagination or something. Oh yeah, the walls were thin, they entered the room despite our DND sign, and showers were pretty… meh. Kinda pricey too… IMO, another Brooklyn upstart hotel masquerading as up scale while cutting corners and hoping people won't notice or will just put up with it. Hope this helps.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by warm, friendly staff who were ready to help us and go the extra mile at whatever we would require. Although we arrived very early for check-in, the staff offered to hold our bags and were kind enough to check us in 3 hours early when they had availability. The room was very small however the amenities were nice. A large exercise ball, roller, blocks and resistance bands were all within our room. The biggest downside was that the room had a very awkward bathroom door that didn't allow much privacy (if 2 or more people are in the room). Aside from that, everything was great! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everyone was very friendly toward us and helpful. There was yoga and workout gear in our room, which was awesome! I'd never seen that before! The room was spotless clean and smelled good! I loved the shampoo and conditioner smells (I think it was citrus and mint) and it was really close to everywhere we needed to be in Brooklyn for our trip. Parking was a bit expensive, but where is it not expensive in New York? Plus, we just needed a safe and secure place to keep our car while we did our thing, so it was nice to know it was taken care of instead of parking on the street. Overall, a great experience!

Great facility. Pricing for an NYC hotel was really competitive. Restaurant food and beverages were solid. Staff was friendly and valet was simple. Will definitely return for business travel.

This hotel is in a great location. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice. If you are an active person, this hotel is the perfect place for you to stay. With fruit infused water right as you walk in. Each room has workout equipment and has a cool mood lighting element. The room was small, but average compared to NYC rooms. The soaps were awesome and left me feeling refreshed and clean! The bathroom was very nice. Don't forget to head down to their gym, it is pretty awesome! The only gripe I would say, is the little sayings everywhere in the room, almost like instructions, it just seemed overkill. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were nice a thick (maybe too thick) All in all, the stay was very nice and would stay there again.

Nice hotel. Good location in downtown Brooklyn within 5 minutes of 2 subway lines into Manhattan and your down town within 25 minutes. Friendly staff, big comfortable rooms and beds with work out equipment as well as some other really well thought out subtle touches such as the great selection of free naturally flavoured water in the lobby. Furthermore, the hotel has a really nice gym and is excellent value for a 4 star hotel in the New York area. My only issues were the hotel restaurant, which has a poorly executed menu and is expensive (we ate here on the first night then gave it a wide berth for the remainder of the trip). Also refilling of tea and coffee in rooms was sporadic. But these things are worth overlooking for everything else you are getting but they stop me giving it a 5 star review.

What a nightmare! First off, these guys cheat you by stating these are king sized beds! They are shorter than a twin bed! I am 6'7 and I had my girlfriend with me so no diagonal sleeping : (. Woke up several times due to blood circulation issues as my feet were hanging out of the bed. Now an hotel is really good for one thing when you are in New York, sleep! But this hotel is so badly designed that noises from the venting system, from other guests opening their shades at 4am will sound like a raccoon is climbing up the vents of the room. We basically woke up 3 times a night. So forget about resting. We paid $100 a night, if it was a little bit more I would have created a riot and asked for my money back. Not worth the money or the time. Just a really bad experience!

Fantastic place for the active, health conscious! Room was much smaller than pictured in the gallery listing on the hotels website. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, bathroom and shower were spacious and relaxing. Restaurant in the hotel has a very limited selection of items, however all are geared towards clean fuel. Nothing that you'd deem unhealthy. Vegetarian and vegan options.
