Location! Walking distance to almost everything. Manhattan cruise ship pier is right down the street!

Nice breakfast and thoughtful with warm apple juice and snacks/cookies in the afternoon.
The rooms need sound proofing. Under the door is a 2 cm/1 in opening so you hear everything in the corridor and nearby rooms. The windows allow all sounds from outside to your ears. Very disturbing.
The room was ok in size and had a nice bed.
The gym lacked free weights.
Please adjust the pancake machine to fry them a bit more, most people did not eat their pancakes. It is a fantastic feature to a breakfast menu. Thanks!

I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Express Midtown West. We had an issue with our room which was quickly rectified. Our new room had a better view and was on the quieter side of the building. Nothing was a problem. Very friendly helpful staff.

The location was perfect! Close enough to everything without the noise. Rooms are small, but so are the average rooms and apartments in NYC. I loved it!

Super clean room and super friendly staff, eager to help with any request. Discount on parking at a local garage around the corner who also have a great, friendly staff. Free breakfast, although it's really crowded at peak breakfast times. Win, win, win!

Rooms were clean, comfortably air conditioned. Halls had no a/c. Waiting for elevators was stifling The staff was professional, efficient and friendly. Breakfast buffet has improved in presentation, and selection! I plan to stay at this hotel for future visits I look forward to repair of climate control in corridors. Staff has addressed issues promptly in past, and hope this practice continues.

Another nice Holiday Inn Express property. Similar design to the Chelsea location. Breakfast included is always excellent. Reasonable walk to Times Square. Accommodation is clean and we'll maintained.

As always Holiday Inn does not disappoint. The staff for pleasant and competent, and welcoming. The rooms are smaller than your standard Holiday Inn Express but you expect that in Manhattan. Clean sheets, new carpets, cold AC. Decent decorations. A great view if you get the right room. I enjoy my stay.

I'll start off by saying the positive. Close to all the action without the price tag. I still paid over 220.00 plus parking but it was cheaper than hotels at Times square. Bedrooms were clean this is why I gave it two stars. One star for location and 2nd for clean rooms. Now for the BAD, the beds were horrible, superior double bed room was extremely small to the point we could barely move around. I'm 5' 10" and my feet would hang off the bed, the breakfast was the worst holiday inn Express I ever stayed at, the omelets were severely burnt, the gravy was pure water with a little gravy, milk didn't taste like it was set to the proper temperature (I noticed this at a lot of holiday inns express) and cinnamon rolls were cold.

Clean, modern rooms and very friendly check-in staff. The rooms are very small though, there's no hiding from this fact. When we were there, they were in desperate need of more tables and chairs in the breakfast area because most of the people were eating standing up, leaning against the walls. Hell's Kitchen / Clinton had an average reputation for safety, though when we were there, we always felt safe out on the street, even at night. I did feel that these rooms were a little expensive for what they were. However the location is pretty good for easy access to Time Square and all of the subway lines you need, so I guess that's a reasonable trade-off.

Nice customer service, rooms are clean and utilize the space well. Free breakfast included with stay, and gives you a variety of choices for breakfast. Location is good, close to Hudson River, close to time square, and close to Central Park.

I told the front desk 3 times about broken shower head (more water coming out of the back of the head than the actual shower head), the shower floor grout was mostly brown where it should white I had to buy a pair of flip-flops it was so dirty, pen marks on bathroom walls. The rest of the room was clean though, this not what I would expect from any hotel let alone a $350.00 a night room the size of a large closet.

Modern hotel but the rooms seem a little bit as well as the bathroom. Good bedding, fridge, TV, quiet overall. Clean. 20 MNS on foot from Times Square and 10 for the Hudson riverbanks.

Very good service, the reception people are very friendly and they speak Spanish. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We were given a room that overlooks the street and not noisy only the people who are at the front door of the hotel are listening, but nothing annoying. Wi-Fi and Breakfast included (free), with good sign. It is recommended as an option to stay if you are.

Some rooms were a little small, but overall it went well for me (apart from the ice maker of the corridor that makes a hellish noise around 4 or 5h in the morning…). And the coffee will in the lobby is cool, especially to warm up when coming home. There's even a kind of cucumber juice, but it's very special as a taste to drink.

Very nice and quiet hotel. Room on the back. Located 10 minutes from the Metro and times square it is ideal for those who want a "neighborhood spirit" away from the crowds of big hotels.
Room with very large bed booked and at the height of our expectations, very good bedding and bathroom with all you need. The breakfast is delicious room a little small if you come at the time of the crowd but at worst we can climb the plateau in his room. In short I recommend without worries.

Good location, mostly clean, 24 h tea U coffee, good price-performance ratio. In the winter but certainly something cold because leaky windows. Breakfast moderate but at least something.

Clean hotel in good proximity to Times Square and Central Park. From here you can reach everything in walking distance. From the outside, the hotel itself shows itself in the style of the deepest 80s: hopelessly outdated carpets and furnishings. All this is fine, but unfortunately there is no place to stop.
A catastrophe is unfortunately the offered breakfast or its trappings. The far too small space is flooded with crowds of people. In order to get this halfway under control, there are only plastic cutlery. In terms of environment and avoiding rubbish a smooth 6. The food itself is basic: coffee, spread of bread, toast. What was stuck: The cinnamon snails are great!
Can you go to this hotel if you only need one overnight stay? Definitely yes. It's okay and relatively inexpensive. Feel-good factor? Definitely No. The beds are OK, the bathroom is clean and TV and Wi-Fi is also available. Enough. No more, unfortunately, either. I'm looking for something else next time.

The Hotel is not very good but it is very clean and the rooms are very nice and the staff are very comfortable and very friendly.

I picked this hotel due to the cost and proximity to Time Square, the neighborhood is pretty quiet so sleeping was really nice. Anesha at the front desk was just a Wonderful check-in agent. She remained calm even under the stress of the 70 or so people hanging out in the lobby, (tour group was leaving). She really was very helpful.

Came in to NY for a quick girls weekend and we were remarkably impressed with this little hotel. The included breakfast has a nice variety of options, which was perfect for weekenders on a budget. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and pretty centrally located. We walked to Time Square, The Today Show, Juniors Cheesecake, M&M world, and we were just two block from the Hudson. It is the perfect location.

Comfortable rooms with pleasant and convenient facilities. Friendly service from the staff. A very convenient location for Mid-Town, just a few blocks from Times Square and the subway — making it a good choice if you're on a shorter break.

For the marathon event we stayed at this Hotel, I state it was my first time in NY, but the place is really mediocre. The rooms are very small and there is no room for luggage. In the morning at breakfast (classic American) If you did not arrive in time you have to sit down nn. The beds are spacious for one person but small if you are in two… What about, if you can avoid it is better.

I just recently had a 4 night stay and EVERYTHING was absolutely top notch! We came all the way from Austin, Texas. The staff was always extremely friendly. The room and bathroom was very clean and was just enough space. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on, other than my own. The view was incredibly beautiful. This was my first time in NY. The breakfast each morning was so comforting and tasty. There was certainly a lot to choose from. I especially loved that I could get a cup of fresh hot coffee, hot tea or water any time of the day or night. We definitely got a lot for our money. Christmas in NY was amazing!
The location was excellent, so much to see and do within walking distance.

Clean Breakfast near the Metro.

It was a very nice Hotel. Yesterday two small problems solved in a matter of minutes. The rooms are small but already we knew having read earlier of the reviews but nonetheless they are comfortable. Excellent and abundant breakfast that provides both the sweet and salty even warm. Free Wi-Fi and very fast and finally not negligible, equipped with ATM station directly in the lobby. Two blocks from Time Square where you get safely on foot. Recommended.

Perfect hotel for thrifty people.

Can't say enough good things. Located on a quiet-ish (it is NYC) street with very little traffic. Compact rooms but every square inch is well utilized and all rooms are close to elevators. Everything we needed. Great TV, comfortable beds and a mini fridge. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic as well. Great value and highly recommended.

Hotel a little more quiet, without being far away from interesting places. Air conditioning is a bit excessive in the rooms and the restaurant room. Very friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay here in October. It was safe and clean, yes rooms are small but it is New York City! The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good, just 10 minutes from Times Square and subway. Don't hesitate, this is a good hotel; they do it right! Thanks for a great stay.

Very friendly and extremely accommodating staff. Great belreakfat and coffee 24/7! The nightly rate was a bit high but I was able to get a great deal through a 3rd party company. The staff was more t×han accommodating when I asked for a late check out (12pm). For a small fee I was able to stay until 3pm! (3pm checkout is dependent on room availability for that day. Not guaranteed! )

Great location for the subway! Wish there were more eateries close by. Our shower floor could have used some some Tylex but otherwise the hotel was very clean and always had nice, friendly employees manning the desk!

First of all I just want to say it's hard to find a hotel that accomadates to the customer needs … I feel like this hotel went out of their way to help a traveler when nobody could help me. They were able to check me in early, rooms were clean and within walking distance of restaurants and midtown… this hotel treated me better than the more expensive hotels in the city. So I'm sticking to this hotel from now on.

Room was tiny. You could be heard through the walls and it felt like the maids and the people next door were practically in the room with you. Great location though. Easy to get to lots of great food and attractions. Awesome assortment at the free breakfast bar the next morning too. And the staff was super friendly which was a big plus.

I walked in my suite/ room & almost committed suicide literally was at the window as soon as I stepped in… the place is tiny, they got the extra star because of the hot breakfast. Airbnb is on the rise especially for NY.

Decent hotel. As expected small room, but ambiance is good. Free breakfast. Easy to get to the hotel, found parking easily. What else do you expect in nyc. We were hardly at the hotel.

Best place. But they will steal your money saying we will add 50$ as a security deposit and we will return it back after a month. Don't believe that cus you will not see your money again.

Nice. Dont be freaked to stay there. We liked it. Nice staff and fairly good location. Tim hortons couple blocks away. Although there coffee sucked. Way to weak for us. But really nice and clean.

Great location if you need to get Javits easily. Nice spots for food and drink all within walking distance. I recommend the Jolly Monk 2 blocks away. As for the hotel, the rooms are small. The staff is super nice. The breakfast is just average. I would stay again as it is exactly what I would for this location at this price range.

Hotel was great I was told it was open 2 years ago, front desk agents were very helpfull. Hotel is located 5 minutes from times square, which is not a big deal however all the subway lines passes through. Complimentary breakfast and internet was great value. I will definetely stay here again.

Very good hotel. We were one week hosted there. The location is very good, the neighborhood is quiet. The staff is the best of the hotel, always friendly and predisposed. Good breakfast and cleaning parts. The Wi-Fi was properly and is free. The only negative is that the piece is a girl but being in NY the sojourn on the piece ends up being to rest. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located in Midtown hotel. Rather small rooms, but comfortable beds and the bathroom OK. Good standard of room and hotel cleaning.
Staff very attentive to what you ask and the "normal" breakfast for the level type of breakfast in the USA.
Recommended to visit NY.
