My fiance and I went to this Marriott to look around for our upcoming wedding next year. The people were nice and fit us right in for a tour without a reservation. The rooms were nice in the Marriott. The other hotel across the street we didnt care for much. The woman who brought us on the tour, had told us after the tour that they were looking into doing a shuttle service to the venue and they were going to figure that out at the end of March. My fiance and I decided to wait on booking the rooms to find out if they would or would not get the shuttle service. The newly renovated rooms were quite nice and we were seriously considering holding these 30+ rooms. The woman who took us on the tour took down my information and had said she would call/ email me when she found out more. At the end of March there was no call or email. I emailed them once with no response. I then called 3x with no responses and then emailed again. I left messages with the front desk and messages on the woman's VM and still no response. With my crazy work schedule, my mom tried to help me out and call the hotel. She ended up calling the wrong Marriott and there was a great response to her phone call and then found out it was the wrong Marriott. She attempted to call the right one and was falling into the same issue I had. We had to get a friend who is an event coordinator to help us contact this place. She got in contact with someone who told her that we can only book a certain amount of rooms out of the Marriott and the rest need to be booked at the hotel across the parking lot that we did not much care for. This Marriott probably has the worst communication ever. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere for our upcoming wedding. We feel that by taking a chance with this place will be a major hassle in the future and honestly there is enough stress with weddings. We definitely don't need this one.
