Overpriced. No microwave, no coffeemachine in room.

Just a place to lay your head for the night. Nothing like what I'm accustomed to, off the interstate, but was so tired, this motel had to do.

Nice and helpful owner. Communicative people around. Acceptable for overnight stay. A bit too expensive for what one gets there. Cleanliness of the rooms could be better. Ours was a bit smelly. Not recommended for people, who need silence at night, as you can hear the trucks passing at the road (truck stop nearby) and the walls are poorly soundproofed (could hear the neighbor watching commercials).

The management here is respectful and do their best to make you feel welcome.

Single queen was clean, well maintenanced. Furnature was solid. Flat screen TV with cable and Wi-Fi is available.

Hi, every one they remodel there rooms now room looking different I am staying again very nice and clean comparing price to the other motels RIVER SIDE MOTEL is cheaper in price always manager he is friendly great place easy on and off from hiway I am happy with service and my other family members thanks God bless America.

The location of the motel is convenient, it is right along the thruway exit. The room that I seen was small, but very comfortable and clean, I would reccomend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable room.

I've been staying at this older hotel for over 20 years whenever I travel to see my kids. It's an older hotel with few amenities but the price is ok for the room. The best part about our stay is Doug, the keeper of the hotel. He's a genuine nice guy who even bought my wife and I coffee the following morning. He is very willing to help you get the most of your stay. Thanks again Doug for your hospitality.

Avoided it at any cost couldn't sleep bcz the was smelling musty and it's very expensive for what you are getting for your money. If they charge $30 bucks is the fair about but they charge you $80 bucks.

Not a bad hotel old school TV but nice for the area.

As a truck driver reviewer, review of all over. This place is low scored and high. I got soaked for having my dog $90. The person behind the counter was nice and talkative. My room,,,, I called in advance fridge wasn't plugged in or TV no microwave in the room. Plus things the room is very clean and worm with remote to turn it up from bed … Also has nice desk and dresser. They do have Wi-Fi and cableTV they need to update to flat screens. The bathroom clean, towels, large walk in shower. They need to put good shower heads in but there is great hot water.

I don't see why this place has such bad reviews. The guy behind the desk was very nice and helpful. He didn't have a room available that was dog friendly so he called around and helped us find the cheapest one that did. We stayed at that Motel for the night and when we ended up deciding to stay another night in the area we went back to Riverside and got a room. The room at Riverside was clean, the internet worked well and the bed was actually very comfortable. It was fine for what we needed and we would go back again.

Worst hotel! They over charged me in tax was very over priced for the look of it! Also there were flies in the room which is disgusting. Very disappointed and not worth it!

Absolutely terrible. I stayed here with my girlfriend and the man in the office was rude and creepy. The room had cigarette ashes in the ash tray still, and the lamp shades were disgusting. To top it off, the guy charged us incorrectly. $79.99 + tax does NOT total $89.59. $9.60 for tax? Last time I checked, tax was 8% of your total. It would have been about $6.40. Long story short, this place is disgusting inside and out. Awful people, and poor math skills, apparently.

Clean, cheap if you negotiate the price. 67$. This is New York state not Mississippi. Mini fridge and microwave. Brand new AC unit, by the way, nothing shacking, rambling, making horrible sounds. 4 stars just because they could have upgraded TV set to cheap flat screen.

I didn't know what to expect as most motel stays have been questionable but I was pleasantly surprised at my experience. Although basic and not luxurious, the room was clean and incredibly cozy and the staff was friendly and eager to please and accommodate.

12:AM It was a very clean motel. The price was reasonable. Beside the other hotels and motels charging way over price $. We checked out late and staff was very helpful I will stay again when we travel highway 90. I am recommended to this motel 07/17/2013.

May 2012 — This motel is not the Taj Mahal, but very accommodative for needs of living. The manager was always helpful and extended himself at every request. Drawback was all the traffic noise, but the motel itself was in good shape and the overall cost was average to good. There are lots of choices for food, gas, laundry, post office etc. And all within min away; not unlike any other motel. I would refer anyone to this motel for inexpensive, clean, accommodative, friendly and outstanding service for any length of stay.

I reserved a room the day before then called and confirmed the day of. The owner gave my room away then pretended to have no idea what I was talking about even though I talked to him personally the night before. Give your business to someone else who deserves it.

I wonder if I stayed at a different Riverside Motel than the reviewers below? The place was reasonably priced at $50/night but was near no restaurants besides the truck stop down the street and wasn't overly clean nor the staff overly helpful/friendly. I would have a tough time recommending this place to anyone else.
