This was our first time at a B&B, it was just like being at home! Lou and Vickie were amazing! Our room was cozy and quaint, comfortable and quiet! We are looking forward to going back and possibly bringing a group of our friends. We would highly recommend Lake Valley Legends Bed and Breakfast!

We recently stayed here for a long weekend while attending the winefest. We had an awesome time. The hosts (Vickie and Lou) were very kind. We stayed in the Lakeview Room which was great and spacious. We had delicious breakfast served on the patio each morning. The location was great. We walked to town each evening. Our only regret was that we didn't get to enjoy the peacefulness of the patio in the evening. Just not enough time for everything. We are hoping to return next year!

Terrible terrible management, having worked in the hotel industry for many years I’m kinda mind blown at just how terrible their management is. Do not stay here avoid at all cost!

Owner will try extorting you for money if you cancel before the date of the booking. Com policy of when you must cancel by. Will threaten you by stating she will report to the sheriff “theft of services” yet no services were ever rendered due to the fact that they cancelled rooms on 8/16, yet policy gave them til day of (8/18) to cancel. Then she states will settle what is owed for half the amount of the room! Couldn’t stay there due to a natural disaster emergency declared and boil water advisory, yet they still have no sympathy for the fact and will still try and extort. Highly recommend staying somewhere else at a business where the owner is understanding and not greedy and money hungry!

Looks great, but try to cancel because of a natural disaster and these people will have the audacity to act like you should be coming through for the weekend anyway, boiled water advisory and all.

Wonderful, wonderful stay! We immediately felt at home, thanks to Lou and Vicki. Our room: phenomenal. Comfort: phenomenal. Quality: phenomenal. Cleanliness: beyond phenomenal. Service: phenomenal — oh and the food: yummm! The best was sitting out on the deck late at night with a glass of wine, under the stars, listening to the crickets, looking out at the lake and the beautiful view. So serene. What a relaxing weekend at my new favorite bed and breakfast!

Beautiful stay! My husband and I enjoyed two nights in the Penthouse Suite, which offers a beautiful view of Seneca Lake and plenty of space to move around (pay attention to their height suggestions on their website). There are several stairs to maneuver around, so if you're not up to those, the Lake View Suite also has a lovely lake view, as does vast deck from the main level. We appreciated the thoughtful preparation for our visit by the hosts, Vicky and Lou. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a homey environment for their stay in Watkins Glen. Just a piece of information: plan on driving to the town or state park unless you enjoy walking up and down hilly streets. We got a kick out of trying the walk once, but took the car after that (and it was easy to find parking on the weekdays).

Exceptional! My wife and I stayed here for a little get away. Vicky & Lou have created an amazing, comfortable & warm home away from home. The house is incredibly charming. The rooms are very clean & comfortable, and the meals are exceptional. We are sure to be back again.

Perfect quaint cozy themed rooms with a personal touch. We stay here every time we come to the finger lakes! Vickie and lou are phenomenal hosts!

It felt like home. The hosts, Vickie and Lou are wonderful. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and their own controls for heat and a/c. The kitchen was open 24/7 with snacks and baked goods. Sunday morning's homemade breakfast was fabulous, as was Monday's continental breakfast. It's within minutes to the state Park and walking distance to town.

This place is very nice and Lou and Vickie are wonderful people. We had everything we needed and more. The breakfasts were fabulous! I would recommend this place!

My wife and I spent a couple of days here after we got married. They were very accomidating. The owners were really friendly, home cooked breakfast every morning, and the even gave us a wedding gift, who does that? The Penthouse suite is perfect for any couple looking for a getaway. 100% Recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May, Lou and Vickie were the perfect host. The B&B is charming, our room was neat and clean, we had use of their large deck outside with a view of Lake Seneca, we enjoyed our wine after a long day of hiking in gorgeous Watkins Glen State Park. People in town and at the wineries couldn't be more friendlier. I would definitely come back and stay in this perfect B&B, and the breakfast was delicious everyday and brownies and cookies and cakes. Thanks again Lou and Vickie.

I've been coming to Lake Valley Legends every year since they opened in 2011 and it's the best B&B I've ever stayed in by far. Vicki and Lou make you feel right at home with elaborate breakfasts, everything is always clean and the location is perfect to be close to town and only a few minutes away from the wineries. I've recommended these accommodations to my friends and family and they all have the same experience!
