Found a little piece of heaven at The Sutherland House B&B. Peaceful and beautiful in every way. The owners are very accommodating and you feel like old friends when you leave. The breakfasts are delicious and something I am sure most of us wouldn’t make for ourselves. If you’re looking for a great B&B check this one out, you won’t be disappointed. I am looking forward to another visit in the near future. Dolly from PA.

My husband and I stayed there for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We had a lovely time! The room (Ivy Solace) was spacious and had all the amenities we could want. The innkeepers were so helpful and provided us with great dinner recommendations, and even a few coupons to local restaurants. The best part, by far, was the amazing breakfast the next morning. Multiple courses including pears poached in merlot, poached eggs, homemade scones, and the most delicious cream-cheese-and-banana-stuffed french toast! Definitely worth revisiting!

Faye & Bob are absolutely fantastic people! The breakfast is all handmade and is something that you would pay high dollar for at a fancy restaurant. The accommodations truly are second to none! We will most definitely be returning for another relaxing stay at the Sutherland House Victorian Bed & Breakfast!

Only stay here if you want to be critiqued judged or talked to in a condescending manner. Shame shame on the owners treating their customers they way they did. We will never stay here and will be sure to tell all our friends and family what an absolute horrible experience our friends had on their honeymoon.

My wife & I booked a weekend stay at the Sutherland house for our honeymoon 10/13/17. I’ve noticed all these 5 star comments below are from the prior owners, Not Bob & Fay, We had a terrible experience here from start to finish. Apparently we are not your “typical guests” my wife & I have tattoos, I am a very successful tattoo artist, she also is an artist. We are Christians & good people. We were treated as if we didn’t belong there; reprimanded for not going to breakfast; mind you we were never told at “check in” any details or that we had to report to Fay if we would not be attending breakfast. She also stated we caused them to “waste food”. Mind you we rushed there because we found out Thursday that check in was between 3:00 & 6:00 pm. We explained that we were coming from an hour away, Fay replied with a sigh & said “we’ll we’d have to wait around” making us feel uncomfortable. She also made comment about us getting married on Friday the 13th. (Nothing to do with the movie 13 is a special number & we planed a October wedding, just so happened to be Friday, but be believe in God not scary movies) Upon arrival at 7:00 pm we were greeted by Fay out on the back patio with a group of her family members, where they had to “wait around” to check us in and remained there the rest of the night. It was quite clear Fay & Bob had a few cocktails while “waiting” for us.

Perfect stay in a wonderful Sutherland House My husband and I had the wonderful stay at Sutherland House B & B. This place is decorated in Victorian style, we stayed in the Rose Room. Everyone room is carefully designed with guest in mind. So many amenities, breakfast served 9AM daily, evening weather permitted sit by the fireside with Faye and Bob (owners) cheese, fruit wines etc. Would recommend Sutherland House to friends and family. Can't wait to visit again.

We spent four nights here last week, 9/20-9/24. The house is beautiful and well kept and the owners are both professional and friendly. Breakfasts are delicious, but maybe more food than would be necessary considering there is a delicious dessert waiting for you at the end of the evening. It's possibly the best b&b we've ever stayed in anywhere which would include FLX, OCNJ, Cape May, NJ, and the U. K.

Never a disappointment!. Wonderful house, great location, fantastic breakfast and outstanding hosts.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely delicious (and I know food because I was raised in a southern household where everything was made from scratch). Faye and Bob were very hospitable and were very attentive to our needs. Another plus is that the rooms are very clean. We also enjoyed conversations with our fellow guests and we especially enjoyed getting to know Faye and Bob. We highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back.

The Parker house suite was beautiful, very spacious. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, three courses of delicious (and beautiful) homemade food! Bob and Faye were very welcoming and definitely went above and beyond with their hospitality!
