Wonderful Fall weekend of Farm to Table foods and drink! Beautiful porch and rooms, from Room 198 to the Lobby Bar and fireplace! And quiet walks on the Chautauqua grounds. It is always wonderful in season and off season.

The hotel is charming. The staff are outstanding from valet, bellman, housekeeping, front desk and waiters and waitress. This is a unique experience. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfortable and the large porch to sit enjoy the lake and view. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Dinner on the veranda is an annual treat. I highly recommend the scallops! Summer our server did a terrific job taking care of us.

The Heirloom Restaurant located in the Athenaeum Hotel at Chautauqua Institution is a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. We attended a special dinner prepared by their new Executive Chef during the food festival week and it was delightful! We will definitely return again. Thank you Chef Ed!

We had a wonderful stay at the Anthenaeum Hotel. The staff at the front desk, valet parking, housekeeping and wait staff in the dining room could not have been more courteous or accommodating! The grounds are breathtakingly gorgeous. It is like taking a step back into time with all of the modern amenities. We will be back!

I would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful hotel again in the future. My room was comfortable and clean. The hotel reminded me of something from an Agatha Christie novel. Its proximity to the lecture halls and amphitheater was appreciated. The staff was efficient, friendly and professional at all times! Best of all, I loved the rocking chairs on the porch and the magnificent view!
