I stayed at Dollinger's Inn on 07/27/18 with 2 friends. We were riding the Erie Canal on our bikes. The room smelled like an ashtray. The carpets were stained all over. But the worst part, when we pulled back the comforter, there was white gunk on the blanket! NASTY! The cleaning staff said they couldn't believe we were sent to that location? They changed the comforter and the blanket, sprayed the whole floor with Lysol. Needless to say, I slept on top of the "clean" comforter, with my pillow covered by my hanky and used my jacket as cover. $84.00 to sleep in a unclean bed! NEVER AGAIN!

This is an older single story "motor court" motel with room entrances leading directly outside. That being said, managent was wonderful and our room was very comfortable with all the amenities. The two double beds were very comfortable. I'm sure it's hard for a mattress to please everyone. After all, why do they make so many degrees of firmness? For summer months, the per-night price was low. No bells and whistles, but my wife and I were pleasantly impressed with Dollinger's and we would definitely visit there again.
