Great and spacious quiet rooms.

This is one of the nicest HIE that we’ve ever stayed and we’ve stayed at many being a platinum member. Nice staff, great breakfast and rooms are quiet and clean.

The main lobby and the outside of this hotel look amazing. Very quiet hotel. Breakfast was odd with all the food wrapped in saran wrap. The rooms are not amazing. The sofa was supposed to be red but the arm rests were black because of the dirt. The dish washer was full of dirty dishes. The sofa bed was so filthy with stains. The shower drain was black with grime. The glass shower doors were caked in scum. As a platinum IHG member I have stayed in many IHG hotels this is one of the worst.

One of the better places to stay in Los Alamos. Shower could use some extra cleaning (hard water scale), but otherwise the facilities are clean and in good shape. Great views of the canyon and mountains from most rooms. Lobby area is nice for group meals and hanging out. K-cup coffee maker in our room had light roast, which was nice to start the morning, much better quality than most in room coffee.

Awesome rooms and very friendly staff make this an easy recommendation! Breakfast is included and changes from day to day with a good assortment of breakfast foods! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious especially for the very reasonable pricing!

3.5 stars. Not very clean beds or floors. Yes very clean bathrooms. No ventilation for indoor pool. Far from city. Good breakfast. Quiet. Polite but lazy staff. No bar/restaurant/lounge. Impossible to see from road. Its still the best place you will find in the Los Alamos/White Rock area.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Very convenient for visiting Los Alamos (though you'll still have to drive into the main part of town). I'm told it's the best / nicest hotel in Los Alamos. Wifi was strong, and they had an indoor pool too. Breakfast was great too — lots to choose from (way more than just the typical "continental" breakfast). If you're looking for a place to stay in Los Alamos — this one is the best!

The room was clean and odorless. The lobby and halls were similarly clean. While the breakfast was all very manufactured, the quality was fine and expected for a chain hotel.

My in laws have stayed many times and love it. We've visited the pool (great for the kids) and the breakfast bar is always good.

Worst holiday inn express breakfast we've ever had. The breakfast is the reason we stay at this hotel chain vs their competition, it's usually good and consistent. They did not replace cinnamon rolls and the gravy was spoiled and one day they didn't even set up the pancake machine.

Meeting a work colleague at the hotel. Very nice staff offered a place to sit, and access to the Wi-Fi even though we were not guests. Great place.

There was great location, espically due to its proximity to LANL. The rooms were very clean, and had great amenities and layout. The front desk service was incredible; they were very helpful.

The conference room at this location was very neat. The from desk offered great service.

I booked directly with them and after travelling 10 hours to get there they sold our room right from under us. Absolutely pathetic. Its ok though. We stayed at the Hilton for much cheaper and the service was much better. This place is used to taking advantage of folks since they dont have much competition in town. AirBnB is slowly changing that.

Room was clean and spacious. The staff had replacement toiletries, as I had forgotten my shower kit. (razor, toothbrush, shave cream, toothpaste)

Great hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pillows are available in firm and soft (and are labeled, which was awesome! ). Our room had a fridge and microwave, perfect for leftovers. Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to on multiple devices (phone, tablet, laptop). Perfect for Netflix on your computer — no issues with buffering or lag. The breakfast (which was included with the stay) was full of variety and delicious. They even offered soy milk, which I thought was great for those with dietary restrictions. The business office was great and had a printer that was free (or, included) to use. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thought the freshly prepared half moon shaped omelets were big plus, usually only see this in 1 of 8 hotels. And the sausage patties were turkey patties, another plus. The room was clean. The Krug coffee maker was burned out. The bed was disappointing; I slept on the rug most of the night since the mattress was completely worn out and sagging in the middle of the bed, if you tried sleeping on either edge of the bed, you rolled toward the dip in the middle. Then in the morning when I was getting ready to leave, the toilet main valve assembly blew out. That was an internal leak, just made a continuous racket, and would no longer flush. Not the hotel's fault at all, toilet valves blow out. Finally unlike some much lower priced hotels on this trip, there was no plastic throw away liner in the bathroom trashcan, yuk. With just a few if the listed needed changes, this hotel could go from a 2 to 4 or 5 star, especially with the care, and willingness to please attitude from the tall dark handsome guy, Kevin?

Not bad overall, but could use some minor upgrades. My main complaint is the office chair in the room (I will was there for a three week work assignment and used it a lot), it was extremely uncomfortable, and lowered if you leaned back at all. The mini-fridge was tiny, and didn't have a freezer compartment. One more treadmill in the gym would also be helpful. A few simple upgrades would vastly improve a lengthy stay, but the facilities are fine for a short visit.

Checked into the hotel and went to our room to change so we could swim. Someone was already in the room. Front desk had no record of anyone being in there. I had paid extra for a suite, the were no other suites or two bed rooms available. Asked for a refund, credit was not equal to the difference I paid between the two rooms.

Newer hotel at edge of town. Customer service is great. Dog walking areas. Doorway / entryway near (not in) pool room had mold. Strange smell in elevators. Front desk was aware of both and said the owner was working on it.

Standard HIE, a little dated. Beds were comfy. Got upgraded but the kitchenette wasn't as clean as the rest of the room. Bathroom lighting was pretty dim. Breakfast ok. There are two great hiking trails right by the hotel. Probably the best option in Los Alamos for business travel.

Great location. Right off the southern entrance to Los Alamos. Pretty close to the Los Alamos historic downtown but also near plenty of trail heads for nice hikes. The Inn was nice and clean but nothing too fancy.

Good hotel and amazing location. I had an issue of the front desk programming our room key card incorrectly. Besides that small issue great place!

Customer service was good, rooms where clean, but shower pressure was very low, and I did not like the smell in the hallways.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights while on an elk hunt in Valles Caldera. The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, and the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was great treat! I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Los Alamos and I would stay again.

As a Spire Member I can say this is top of the crop HI. Staff is courtious and accomodating. Really clean. The owner and staff know how it is supposed to be. 4 thumbs up between the wife and myself.

Super friendly staff, nice breakfast just a bit outside of the center. Therefore, quiet and has a bus connection (unfortunately not during the weekend)

Nice room, free breakfast with many choices, indoor pool and hot tub. Also a nice paved trail across the road and an unpaved trail behind the hotel with great view if you would like a jogging/hiking.

Nice rooms with comfy linens. The pillows were lacking, even the firm ones flattened out. Good location next to the co-op for food.

Customer service was great. Room was outdated, but bed was comfortable. My only real complaint was that housekeeping could be improved upon. The shower needed a good clean and there was a big bag of smelly trash left under the "kitchen" sink.

Room itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was above average. Self service laundry was convenient and came in very handy. I would have given my stay a "5" were it not for a few oversights by housekeeping. For one, there was exactly one little plastic cup in our room. We had to go scavenging in the breakfast area to find more. Two, there were no toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, etc). Three, there was a layer of soap scum on the shower soap dish. Clearly a sloppy job by the housekeeper and worse, no follow up or inspection by head housekeeper or management. Minor items, I know, but very noticeable and annoying.

This was a wonderful night. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a hot tub with the pool. Outside if the hotel itself, the view is absolutely amazing. I would recommend to family and friends as a place to stay when they visit.

I stay at this hotel nearly everytime I'm in town. Reasonable self-serve breakfast and wonderful pillows, the two main measures of a good night's stay!

Comfortable, quiet room. Breakfast started early (6am) and was a standard selection. Pool and hot tub in basement. Not walking distance to any restaurants.

We went up for an overnight getaway from ABQ the motel is easy to find and great access to the highway and close to town to restaurants, we arrived at 1pm & our room was done and ready for us. The front desk gal was very helpful, polite and kind. She got us checked in, we went up to our room it was very clean, and very comfortable, we liked having a fridge and microwave. The hot tub was a bonus for me. Breakfast was good, the poor girls running the kitchen had a hard time keeping up with all the guests and ran slow on keeping things filled. But had a good variety of food though. We would definitely stay here again. I hated reading all the negative comments. Some ppl just are not happy with anything! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!

The breakfast selection was really nice got a chance to have pretty good food. Rooms were also very clean!

Good location, right near the city which is nice if you are doing work in town. The rooms are large and cozy. The hotel has a nice sized pool and hot tub which is awesome for winding down. The fitness room is a bit to be desired, the room is small and lacking quality equipment.

Nice room, good customer service. TV was broken and they couldn't fix it. And breakfast was not great.

Stayed here one night. Facility is pretty new. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean. My only Complaint was it seemed pretty expensive but that's likely due to Los Alamos being higher priced for other hotels and probably cost of living, etc. Would stay again though.

Pretty standard Holiday Inn Express setup. Breakfast is slightly above average featuring what taste like fresher fruits, biscuits, meats, etc. Fittness center and rooms are all clean, without issues. Employees are competent, but unenthusiastic. Not a bad stay, especially in an area without terribly many options.

I was a long term guest, 4 months+, So I have some unique insights for this location. The hotel itself is average to slightly above average, depending on what you're used to and your level of expectations. I travel a lot so my comments are properly weighted… so I think my expectations are probably pretty average. While the property is average to above average the staff is not. They fall into a category that most other companies in this business have only read about but never actually experienced. They are truly exceptional. Each one of the staff is genuinely concerned about your stay and if there is anything they can do make it better. There have been several notable incidents where I made a comment concerning something about my room or whatever, When the comments were made there was no acknowledgement from the particular staff member and I wondered if they even heard me. I came back from work only to find the particular "thing" I mentioned was corrected or whatever the problem was, resolved. This happened several times. You don't find this kind of service or more accurately, genuine concern for the guests well being and comfort, very often. At least I don't so when it does happen I think it should be mentioned somewhere and this seems to be the correct forum for doing so. Enjoy your stay!
