Review of La Quinta Inn 2*

We will never stay here again. When we arrived the lady at the front wasnt helpful at all. I was traveling with my mother who had a broken foot and she gave us an upstairs room and I asked if we could have a downstairs and without even looking she said no they were all booked, when hardly any cars were in the parking lot. I just dealt with it and went on up to our room which was upstairs all the way at the opposite end of the building, went to stick both of my keys in and neither of them would work so I walked all the way back to the lobby and she reset the keys being very rude about it. When we finally got into our room of course the first thing you have to do after traveling all day is to use the restroom. So of course I go into the bathroom lift up the lid and the toilet is full of urine. I immediately called the front desk and asked to be moved to a clean room and she put me on hold for 5 minutes and got back on saying a maid would be right there to clean it. When the maid got up there she was carrying a cup with a brush, a rag and one glove, didnt say anything to us and just went in and supposably cleaned it. I was very unhappy. I couldnt even be in that room comfortably. Later on during the evening my husband went to sit down to eat some left over food we brought back and went to turn the lamp on that was sitting on the table and it wouldnt turn on so I thought well maybe try plugging it to a different outlet? went to get the cord and it was cut in half! I was so upset the next morning I went to check out and told the front desk and she just looked at me and said really? like I was lying to her or something. But moral of the story is We will never stay at this hotel again the workers were rude and I suggest u dont stay there either unless your looking for problems. I would have rather stayed at the one across the highway.
