While I have stayed in fancier hotels, I've never experienced such outstanding customer service at a hotel before. The gentleman working the over-night shift when we checked in was cheerful and courteous; the woman overseeing the complimentary breakfast was friendly and on-the-ball. The rooms were clean and perfectly arranged (never saw the housekeeping staff, but clearly they know their business as well. )

The beds are comfortable but I would recommend bring your own pillow. The breakfast was good but they needed more fresh fruit. Customer service was nice and very helpful.

Friendly staff, very accommodating with our needs, breakfast is ok without being spectacular, but for a free amenity pretty good. Pool was out of service while we where there but they called us before we arrived to let us know and gave us a chance to change our plans if we wanted to.

Very polite and friendly staff. Only reason a 4 star was that the pool was not open.

Great place to stay, especially when travelling. Stayed here a few times and am always satisfied. Rooms are nice blend of comfort and amenities to enjoy and relax in after a day of travelling. Near by to various places to eat, along with a nice spread for breakfast.

We have stayed here once a year. But this year was awful! One of the beds did not get made. Dog hair in the dresser drawers. We had a spider in a dresser drawer. There was a bug on the bed the 2nd day, The trash was dumped but no liner put back in. Our coffee cups and supplies were not replaced. We got only 2 sets of towels the 2nd day, not 3. There is mold in the bathtub. A wet facecloth was still in the bathtub. The drawer in the nightstand has trash, Earbuds and cigarettes. We will never stay here again!

Ok. Son got a discount on his online booking. Then had to change what he asked for due to logistics of the others traveling with us. La Quinta worked well with the changes necessary. I thank them kindly. The Denny's here was a Denny's. At least they were close by and the service was nice. @15/diner + tax. The pool wasn't open. So sad cause i'd've been in in a heartbeat. So hot and humid already. There was no mini fridge. Had leftovers from dinner. We had to finish them before any of us were hungry again. Groan. Everywhere else I've stayed has had a mini fridge and also offered tea alongside the coffee and decaf. Cocoa would be a nice touch. Only a suggestion. We liked our stay otherwise.

Room was very clean. However it did have a slight odor in the. I think it came from the carpet. It's smelled as if a pet had been in the room If this is a pet friendly hotel they should consider taking out the carpet and putting in laminate flooring.

Nasty little place. Tub didn't even drain. How do you clean that? 1 shampoo. No conditioner. Just saying. Also all doors open to the outside. Scary. Like a motel, but motel 6 is better.

Good clean room. Laundry facilities were sufficient. Restaurant across the street. Right off the I-25. Rate was ok.

Nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. Older style. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired. Great location off freeway.

Employees were very pleasant and accommodating. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Tasty and well organized continental breakfast.

Definitely a decent enough place to stay for the price. The room was clean, along with the sheets, beds and towels. My only complaint is the bathtub/shower was a little, tiny bit dirty where the wall tile meets the actual tub. Like maybe just recaulking it would make it a lot better. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and have nothing bad to say.

The room was clean, guest services was kind and checked on us. The beds were super comfortable and the AC worked great. The price was well worth the stay for sure and then some. I recommend this place.

The staff was really helpful and nice. As soon as we pulled up security was outside ready to get the door, which is comforting after the reviews I read about peoples cars getting broke into at other places. The room was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place. Above and beyond for what you pay.

Very nice rooms, clean, very comfortable bed. All around great experience staying here. Staff extremely friendly. Definitely would recommend a stay here. Thank you for making my stay homey and nice.

Room was very clean and nice. Great service and excellent continue talk breakfast. We enjoyed don't stay and would come again!

This motel needs an upgrade. Our room entry was outside and we were on the second floor. The room was very clean, no musty smell. Shower and toilet room is very small and a large person wouldn't be comfortable using it. Over all, we agreed we would stay at this one again. Very friendly staff and plenty of parking. Right next door was a nice clean Denny's and you get a 10% discount for staying at this LaQuinta.

The staff was friendly. Rooms are decent size, but bathroom a bit small. Being a pet friendly hotel, there were traces of dog smell in certain areas of the room, but otherwise the room was clean. The bathtub didn't drain we'll though. Overall, not a bad place to rest for the night.

The room is generously sized and squeaky clean. The chain also offers a military discounts which was a pleasant surprise. The only knock on the room is the lack of a fridge and the bathtub, which has the overall feel of an above ground pool (the water pressure and heat are amazing though. )

Room is obviously pet friendly, dogs relieve themselves outside the parking lot area. Our room smelled like dog urine, had sprayed my husband's cologne to cover when we got in, went to check to see if pool was open. Walked to the front desk and asked if it was closed for the season. He was quick to reply yes. Went back to our room it still smelled had to go purchase carpet powder and sprinkled all on the carpet. It did somewhat helped till the early morning when we got cold and the room warmed up and the smell was just as bad. You could shampoo the carpets regularly and maybe varnish the 'wood' floor to the restroom. Was afraid to step on the floors with bare feet. It had a restroom, shower and beds. What more could we ask for. It could be alot better if the maintenance of the facilities was properly taken care of on a weekly basis.

The place is nice and clean. It's not the best in the world but, I like it. The staff is friendly. They had breakfast in the morning that was good. They also have a rewards program. I'd stay there again.

So far the room is comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable. The room was clean. It is in July and the AC unit is working very well, that is a very big plus. So far the only thing wrong with the room is the refrigerator was not plugged in when we got there and it is not getting very cold. The continental breakfast is a little smaller than most motels have, although it is good enough for what we need.

Great place to stay. Clean. Outside pool was clean as well. Continental breakfast was like the others except they had fresh eggs and not that fake stuff many other hotels use.

Friendly staff. Rooms were average, nothing fancy. Beds were comfortable enough and continental breakfast was good, esp the waffles.

Trailer Theft Warning** I am posting this to warn anyone that might be planning on staying with a trailer at this location. I asked the hotel receptionist the best place to park with my trailer so it wouldn't be tampered with. She directed me to the parking lot on the side of the building near Denny's. In the morning I discovered my trailer had been stolen overnight. My family and I had been moving for the military and had a lot of valuables locked inside of this trailer. I walked over to the Denny's who luckily had cameras and we were able to see the trailer be stolen but could not make out any of the vehicle plate information. I would not recommend staying here or anywhere in Albuquerque if you are towing a trailer. The police officer that responded told me they have been having major issues with trailer theft throughout the entire city.

Nasty Rooms small really bad, bed stink. Like the pets slip on the beds we move out to better hotel. I don't recommend this MOTEL for one NIGHT.

I'm currently staying in la Quinta and am a member. My problem is with the breakfast, it has become more like snack time. I have been here 2 days and there has been a lack of food. No fruit, muffins, or eggs! Choices offered were cereal, toast, bagels, coffee, juice, waffles… that's it! I am very displeased with my stay this time, because la Quinta is always my choice of hotels. Now, it has changed! The elderly hostess taking care of the breakfast was telling me that they order on Tuesday and not sufficient. Because I asked her for eggs (hardboiled) she told I have cracked ones that no one wants if you want those! I told her no, thank you. Proceeded to tell me don't your eggs ever cracked at home?! I told her no, we'll they do here but no one wants them. She was raising her voice as she spoke. So, I sat down with coffee and toast and I could hear her complaining about me to the other employees. So I told her you could at least wait to talk about me till I left! She kept talking about the eggs! She was rude and loud! I will just go to McDonald's!

The room was OK. They were flexible with our reservation that we were not sure we'd be able to make. The breakfast was not that great and the shower/tub looked pretty dirty.

Horrible experience! Beware! Made a reservation for a non smoking room months in advance to attend the Hot Air balloon fiesta. When we arrived the room smelled like an ash tray. The room seemed like it hadn't been cleaned and was disgusting! Front desk attendant said no guarantees on non smoking rooms when making reservation. Pulled the bait and switch. We had to find another hotel late that night and they still charged my credit card. Worst experience ever! Beware…

The staff went above and beyond in helping me find my elderly cat. After searching the room and the grounds, I went to the front desk to report him missing. The manager knew exactly where he might be and sent a maintenance man to our room to remove the bed from the base. Sure enough, he had crawled up into the box springs! Thanks to the experienced hotel staff we were able to get back on the road with our babies!

The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful, but the rooms were deplorable! I looked at 3 of them. They were all very very shabby and run down. There was mold in all 3 bathrooms, one of them had a lot of mold. One had a terrible smell. I was exhausted and it was late, I took the least disgusting one of them. I decided to forgo a shower. In the morning there was a live cockroach in my bathroom. I decided to forgo the free breakfast, didn't trust it.

Dirty, smelly, small and out dated.

Out of pool towels, when asked when the towels would be ready, she said, "I don't know. The rooms are worth about $45 not 65

The remote was missing for the TV but the front desk promptly fixed the problem. Otherwise the rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was great, and staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

All outside rooms, which is not a big deal. Room overall lacked cleanliness. There was hair on one of the beds and pillows, making me wonder if the sheets had actually been changed after the last stay. Hair on the desktop. The bathtub has a very distinct grime mark showing where a mat was obviously in place for years, and not cleaned around. Edges of the floor were dirty. There were 3 tissues in the box. Front desk staff was helpful. I arrived at 1am, and if I wasn't so tired, I would have looked elsewhere. Would not stay here again.

Mom and I arrived late, the front desk was quick and efficient which was great in our exhausted state. The room was a bit small but the beds were pretty comfortable considering. The room was a little dirty, doors, light switches, etc but it was otherwise just the right place to crash.

Yes like almost all motels in this price class, no hilton.
But if you do a round trip, and only a roof over the head needs.
but all really great.

The room smelled a little smokey even though it was supposed to be non smoking. It is clean and the kids liked the pool.

We will never stay here again. When we arrived the lady at the front wasnt helpful at all. I was traveling with my mother who had a broken foot and she gave us an upstairs room and I asked if we could have a downstairs and without even looking she said no they were all booked, when hardly any cars were in the parking lot. I just dealt with it and went on up to our room which was upstairs all the way at the opposite end of the building, went to stick both of my keys in and neither of them would work so I walked all the way back to the lobby and she reset the keys being very rude about it. When we finally got into our room of course the first thing you have to do after traveling all day is to use the restroom. So of course I go into the bathroom lift up the lid and the toilet is full of urine. I immediately called the front desk and asked to be moved to a clean room and she put me on hold for 5 minutes and got back on saying a maid would be right there to clean it. When the maid got up there she was carrying a cup with a brush, a rag and one glove, didnt say anything to us and just went in and supposably cleaned it. I was very unhappy. I couldnt even be in that room comfortably. Later on during the evening my husband went to sit down to eat some left over food we brought back and went to turn the lamp on that was sitting on the table and it wouldnt turn on so I thought well maybe try plugging it to a different outlet? went to get the cord and it was cut in half!

It is ok for the money but could use some up dates in the room. I worked at a hotel for several year and the check in here was way to slow. Over all it is alright.

My husband and I found this motel after a long trip on the road. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable with the pillow top mattress. I used the in room phone for local calls and asked the guy at the front desk if local calls were free and he said yes. We made three local calls and were charged an extra ten dollars for the calls what a rip off. We also found a scorpion in the room which could have bit us or one of our cats. La quintas are good but overpriced.

My wife and I stayed a La Quinta Inn at 5241 San Antonio Dr NE Albuquerque, NM on March 20-23 and when I checked out decided to pay cash but was not given a receipt. I remember leaving with out a receipt and realized that no effort was made to give me one. When I was making my monthly payment on my credit card I noticed a charge for La Quinta Inn and I called to ask for the charges be removed, getting no where with the person working the front, I asked for the manager and that’s when the person hung up on me, so then; I called back and ask why he had hung up on me and his reply was “And I am going to hang up on you again” so he did. I called another motel to get the managers name so that I can ask for her directly and this how I got to speak with the manager. Told the manager that I paid cash for the room and why was I charged on my credit card and she said I was charged because I didn’t pay cash and that with out a receipt nothing would be done. So then, I requested that they look at the video recording to prove I paid with cash but she refused again and said the video wouldn’t do any good. Ok my fault “stupid me for not going back for the receipt” for leaving with out a receipt but no effort was made to prove I paid with cash “ON MY DEAD SONS GRAVE I DID PAY FOR THE ROOM” but for this I am very sorry I stayed a La Quinta Inn that weekend and will NEVER EVER stay at another La Quinta again nor will my family, friends or Government co-workers. Very sad.
