The staff was very friendly.

We were in a pinch and they had a cancellation so we were able to check in. They were helpful courteous and went out of their way to get room cleaned and ready ASAP. It’s centrally located so you can do a lot. The view is amazing.

Bring your post pandemic dollars somewhere else! We had an unexpected death in the family and needed to cancel our reservation. You would hope a venue that says their a family resort would show more empathy for the situation. Instead, My wife and I were called liars and declined our request for a refund while they were no doubt filling up the room on the busy Holiday weekend. There are plenty of hotels on the island, do a good deed and do not support this place, book a place that respects it's guests and deserves the business.

Clean rooms, easy check-in and great view of the ocean.

Been coming here every year for about 10 years, extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, pool being up off street gives you great privacy, great patio with gas grills for guest use.

Nice pool and really close to the beach. Nice little diner attached to the resort as well.

Cold air and a great pool! Elevator works and staff are friendly, saved our vacation after accidentally booking a hell hole hot box at the Acropolis!

Stayed there this past Memorial Day Weekend. Place was great — typical beach front property. Breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was amazing. We had no plans to eat down there but ended up there twice! No complaints whatsoever. Daily maid service — very thorough. Nice pool. We had a group of about 25 people with us and we all enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return!

This was our first time staying here. Rooms are big and extremely clean. Comes with a beachview and also a full size refrigerator and stove. Pool is big and there is a lot of areas to sit and relax, along with a grill for guests to use. Everyone, especially the guys at the front desk are so friendly and kind! Our room was even ready before the check in time which was great so our children didn't have to wait to use the pool. There is also a restaurant right downstairs with great prices. Glad we chose to stay here. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Where do I start? Definitely not a "resort". There are absolutely NO resort amenities. You have to pay 25 cents for ice with no change machine on grounds. There is No common area bathroom anywhere on grounds. So when you arrive before check-in and want to use the pool, absolutely no bathroom. That goes for check-out day too, you can stay and use the pool but no bathrooms available, and they also want you to move your car out of your assigned parking spot and park on the street somewhere. Rooms were outdated, pool closes at 8, no music aloud, keys to rooms were not working properly, lobby/office closes at 8. Hotel food was ok, but was closed before 3PM because "business was slow and the grill was turned off, sorry". One of the male staff members was rude and not very friendly. Overall, SUCKED ASS!

Never ever would use it again. First of this is not a hotel, simply an old motel. Dirty, dinky, rooms are very small, dont believe the photos you see on their website. They are a liar as well. I rented a suite room and paid about $600 (with taxes) with an ocean view, they gave me room with a pool view instead. Also, my room was on the first floor where people often walk by, and are partying on the deck I have literally no privacy at all, with all. Sleeping was also impossible with all these late night traffic in front of my room. When complained about my room, the guy who posed as the Manager was rude, yet alone forget about offering any solution.

We had to upgrade from a "Deluxe queen" since it was just a bed, one dresser with 2 draws and the bathroom with a small shower, no microwave and no coffee maker or even a iron. We got a family suite for us 2 which was more of course and had a stove, microwave and coffee maker though no iron?. Place looks very OUTDATED! Manager was nice, some housecleaners didn't even speak English or spanish. Guess it was German? Everything was close, boardwalk, beach, trolley at every corner but only works from 5pm on so, need. To use car to get anyplace else. Downstairs restaurant expensive and cash only. Other than that, had a great time but won't stay here again for the $$$ we paid feel like we over paid specially when the queen wasn't equipped with anything as advertised making us having to get another room more adequate for more!

The room had a small sofa, a table with 4 chairs and a full size refrigerator. A small kitchenette that had a sink, microwave. Silverware, Dishes, pots, pans and a coffee maker. The bedroom had 2 double beds. Pros — The space was big enough to accommodate the 3 of us comfortably. The refrigerator kept our beverages cold and the kitchenette allowed us to prepare snacks. The beds were ok. Cons — the bathroom was small, with little room for our toiletries and housekeeping did not refill our soap and shampoo. The decor and room furnishings were outdated. The only air conditioner was in the living area, and did not adequately cool the bedroom and is was very loud.

The room I am staying in is a decent size. The decor is slightly dated but very clean. Room rates are reasonable. The parking spots are a bit tight. Very good size refridgerator.

The room are nice and clean. The Wi-Fi is terrible,, it would cut off all the time. And they allow other guests to party by the pool throughout the whole night.

Love this place can't wait to go back already planning our next trip. They have great rooms with separate bedrooms. They have a very well maintained. So the views couldn't be beat. Love the nighttime atmosphere right on the main drag and will be returning again soon. The ownership is also very helpful laid-back good American Business. I normally don't bring up issues like American or not but with hotels I find it it does make a difference. They take real pride in the facility it's not just about making money. And that can be very hard to do when you have a beach front property it's constant maintenance and I can tell when a place really attempts to do it.

Excellent! We had to find a place to stay after leaving a different hotel due cleanliness… I won't say where but it was a dump. We found this place online, called and spoke to David. David told us to come by and check it out first before committing to booking the room since we were hesitant from the last hotel booking. We got there and he showed us two rooms. Very clean! We chose the ocean view room that had a mini kitchen… it was perfect. The cleaning staff were friendly and spot on. They left everything smelling amazing, neat and in order. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will be back! Thank you for everything.

Rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. Didnt get to eat at the restaurant but heard good things from other guests. Staff, specifically Dave at the front desk went so far beyond "above and beyond" I can't think of an appropriate phrase. Not only did he spend time talking to us and giving us info about the area, that was 100% spot on. He even upgraded our room to ensure privacy and a good night because wildwood was hosting NJ High School Band competition and they were everywhere. He even helped us find an apartment for the entire summer just weeks b4 summer season was beginning. Can't say enough.

Clean, ocean front & east views, no westerly rooms. Bring an ext cord as room outlets are scarce. Balconys are shared.

The most disgusting, dirty place I have ever walked in to. The pull out couch had white crusty stains in various places, the beds were severely lopsided. The stove had raised burners that were wrapped in tin foil that was covered with dirty old food. The lamp in the bedroom was unusable as the switch was missing, the shower lever was also gone. The carpeting in the room had various stains and multiple areas where the treading had been torn. The TV in the bedroom was unusable as the cord could not reach the outlet. To make matters worse the glass to the windows was cracked making the place feel very unsafe. Given this I did go down to the front desk and kindly asked for a different room. My request was laughed at. This place has no customer service. What was supposed to be a fun 4 night mini vacation get away turned in to a nightmare. This is a warning to all to not stay at this place. This place was booked through Expedia which is the crazy part. Expedia bookings have always been way above expectations. I am shocked that Expedia would even consider doing business with such a shady resort. Please see all photos as I do not make statements that are not factual or backed by proof. This Motel was a nice calm place to stay with a family, friends, or alone. The pool is never full and always clean. There is a beach entrance in the front of the motel. The boardwalk is approximately a 15 minute walk. There is also a restaurant under the motel which is very good quality and make, the food, at the spot. The Rooms are small but tidy and on the third floor it is very nice to look at the view. Lastly, the cleaners do a very well job. The only problem is that in my room did not have great service, but if you were to go outside there would be very good Wi-Fi (but it was nice to sit outside). Would go again.

Great location on the beach. We took an efficiency Room was perfect for our family of 4. The staff were all polite and friendly. Coffe shop was great for breakfast. Would definitely go back.

The room is spacious and has several convenient appliances, good view of and easy access to the beach, great food, and friendly staff. The beds and sheets could be more comfortable and the shower water temperature wildly fluctuated one of the nights I spent here.

As soon as my family and I walked into our room we were hit with an awful musty aroma. I was skived out as I was checking out the bathroom and bedroom. The toilet has mildew at the bottom that could have easily been cleaned with a toilet brush. The furniture is very outdated, the couch doesn't match the rest of the furniture. My husband and I joked that this hotel was like a senior prom hotel. Furniture was broken and put together cheaply. Also wasn't happy that there was no ventilation system in either the kitchen or the bathroom. So when you take a shower and then a someone goes to the bathroom after you the toilet paper sticks to your hands and the wall. Also what they provide for you in the kitchen looks like they got it at a garage sale, no matching sets and dirty silverware. No iron to press colthes either had to get it from the office. Just a horrible experience. Luckily our family was a few hotels down and we stayed there all day — we just came to the room to sleep, shower, and hope nothing crawled on us overnight. Bottom line — don't get fooled by all their fake reviews! This place is a DUMP, even my 11 year old called it the cockroach motel!

The best BLT in the Wildwoods can be found at Olympic Island's restaurant (which I would have reviewed separately from the hotel if it would have had its own Google page). This sandwich is crispness incarnate. All around. The bread is toasted to an almost crunchy deep golden state. There's just enough lettuce on it but not too much — and nice big wedges of it, not the limp shredded stuff that sits in a holding bin all day. The tomato is just juicy enough but not so watery that it sogs anything down. The tomato and the mayo lend just the right amount of squishiness to the affair.

Very nice hotel with all necessary accommodations. Clean, comfortable with large pool. Patio deck with gas grills and modern oudoor furniture. Directly on the beach. I booked early and asked for the room with the best view and got it! Ocean view is amazing! Very pleased with the customer service. All amenities including kitchenette with cooktop stove. Restaurant below serving breakfast and lunch. Next door to Centennial park which offers free concerts and events just bring your own chair. Overall, a great family place with a great price!

Great place for vacation. Clean, friendly, helpful, right on boardwalk and parking. Restaurant right beneath has great breakfast and lunch w/Great service.

Nice! The room was very clean. We. Had a room with 2 queen beds. The bathroom was very small but clean. We had the the ocean view room with balcony. The staff was very nice. Steps away from the beach. This place is in wild wood crest not that close to the board walk. I didn't get in the pool but it looked clean. Nice setting area around the pool and gas grills for you use.

Terrible inconsiderate customer service. My father passed away and I was unable to keep my reservations. I was fine with not being able to get my money back. They were able to rebook the room with someone else. When I called to rebook they couldn't even offer a discount or the same rate when I was willing to rebook. Shame on you for your terrible customer service!

Small rooms didn't have a good smell but it's a place to stay.

We have breakfast there every day during our vacation. I hear the cream chipped beef is the best in the area, and my husband will gladly attest to that. The staff is so friendly, the music is a wonderful walk down memory lane, and the food is great. We will definitely be back.

Love the place, a lil out dated, but that is why we stay here, just to be comfortable, we have been coming here for the past 20 yrs, for the car show, our group of 25, stay on the 3rd floor, great view, and right on the beach, a lil walk to the boardwalk, but its a great walk, new owners, were great, we will be back next year, hope they keep the breakfest, special with our bookings :)

Service was very good and check in was a breeze. Mike and Dave in the office were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. The pool area is very nice, and has an observation deck like area where you can watch the ocean, cook out, or just relax.

Awesome. Great service and accommodations. My only complaint is that we're a family of 5, our room sleeps up to 6 people, yet we only had 3 cereal bowls, 4 plates cups and glasses. And no napkins, paper towels, nor tissue boxes. Will definitely go there again.

My stay at the Olympic Island Beach Resort in Wildwood, NJ had been delightful. The location is ok with easy access to the beach, but it's a little far from the boardwalk to walk there. I have no complaints about the rooms. They are clean and well stocked for the rooms with a kitchenette. My one real complaint about the rooms is that the air conditioners are noisy. The service is outstanding, very friendly and helpful.
