Good location, clean and comfortable.

I stayed here for my wedding night and had a whole night of issues. I am disabled and asked for a specific room that was accessible AND a king size bed. They down graded us, without telling me, to a full. When I spoke to the manager, all they said was, there's no more room. We were also supposed to have shuttles for our guests, and they never showed up. When we called, they never even booked them. The manager who will respond to this says the same thing " your version of the truth, and the real truth are different" so much for customer service! ON MY WEDDING NIGHT. How could nobody care!? We didn't even want a refund, we just wanted a resolution! The communication is awful. I will never stay at ANY Hampton Inn again. I refuse to go through issues like this again.

Very clean and super quiet. Staff was friendly and always all smiles. One thing we didnt like was every morning during our stay housekeeping was banging on our door to clean, and we had BOTH do not disturb signs on. Also one night we came back to our room cleaned when we had left the hangers on our door to not be cleaned. Other than housekeeping being a pain we really liked it! Bertha and the other women at breakfast did an amazing job plenty of parking, clean pool and really comfy beds.
Just a heads up if your staying to visit six flags the Hilton site says its 18 miles away but its actually double that. Tons of food and stores all over the area too.

Love my home state of West Virginia, but this hotel was lacking. Room was really old looking and smelled old. The toilets kept clogging up, air condition leaked, and etc. We paid for 2 rooms with different day check ins and they charged our card three times, after multiple phone and front desk conversations to make sure it was done right. It was a mess. I gave it 2 stars because the housekeeping service was nice and done a good job with what they had to work with.

Room is very inviting and very comfortable I love their blankets there so nice and soft! A free buffet for dinner is a really good offer. I had the lasagna and a salad last night and it was excellent. Haven't tried the breakfast yet but I will tomorrow. Front desk is very nice and helpful.

Let me first say Dean, Catherine and Kiyah are fabulous as the up front supervisor, manager and desk representatives when you walk in the door. They were able to upgrade us a few weeks ago and our 2-day stay at the hotel was fabulous. This hotel is one of 2 Hampton Inn's in the US that offers complimentary dinner and beer, and it was really great. The place was clean, our room was clean and the pool was great as well. We even wanted to go off site to a gym, and Kiyah recommended a local Princeton fitness center that was a 5 minute drive and FREE! If we are ever in the area again, without question this is the place for us — they are a top notch group and I thank them again for making our vacation a great experience!

The customer service provided was top notch. There was always someone around to help or answer any questions. Coffee was always hot and fresh. The rooms seemed a little bit bigger or rather it felt that way.

They have great staff who are always concerned and ready to help. The room was a little tired looking, but clean. Dean and Cathy: great on the front desk.

Very clean, friendly staff, and great breakfast spread. They had a pack and play in my room as requested for my almost 2-year-old. It was a very comfortable stay with my children.

This is my second year in a row to stay at Hampton Inn for work. I personally think this hotel is very clean and the Personnel that work there are helpful and nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is around this area to stay.

Visiting overnight while in area for business, 1 Day stay. Very nice hotel overall, lobby was nice and the common area and continental breakfast was well stocked and staffed. Room was large, and spacious. All amenities needed for a stay. Good value but pricier than I would of liked. Would recommend.

Arrived at hotel for a full-day educational class — no overnight stay. Conference room was comfortable with the exception of a two-keg cooler (locked — not for our event) compressor that filled the room with humming. Otherwise, really lovely site — clean and friendly.

Was pretty good. Recently Remodeled. But our room still had a few minor things like you would expect. No ventilation in the bathroom and very little water pressure was about all that was a Negitive. Everything else was nice.

Very pleasant staff. Huge breakfast. Many restaurants within walking distance. Clean quiet room. I would call out Charles and Amber as especially helpful. Breakfast lady, Phyllis was terrific.

This hotel was clean and affordable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our two-day stay a great one!

It was a great hotel. It doesnt have a mini fridge though, which wa sone downside. The pillows werent very comfortable though. The pool was very warm and clean. No real complaints, except for the price. I paid $122/night when I couldve literally went across the road and got a room for half price eith an indoor pool AND a minifridge.

We’ve stayed here a few times over the years. Rooms are clean and overall condition of the hotel is good. Staff have always been polite and friendly. Breakfast provides a good variety, the cooked food was of decent quality and better than some hotel breakfasts I’ve seen. Conveniently located and within walking distance to many places to eat.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and were very pleased. The rooms are clean and spacious. Continental — breakfast is delicious with fruit, waffle and much more. You can get coffee and tea all day. There is also water every day. Hotel offer free shuttle within 10 miles, which can be booked at short notice. All the staff were super nice. We will definitely be back.

Four stars because it is an older building. Also, finding the entrance was hard because of the Jersey-barriers; we needed to go past and snake back through a neighborhood to make the right turn (which we had missed in the dark). Check directions first. We arrived very late and the front desk staff was very nice. Very clean room. Pet friendly facility.

Breakfast is standard okay Hampton Inn. I remember when they would peel the hardboiled eggs. I mean you can't peel an egg at a table without means to rinse it with water. I suppose I could pocket a dozzen and take them home to deal with there. All else was nice as a Diamond Member. Couldn't help but notice the towel/robe hook placed oddly over the tolet. Seems wrong in a number of ways. … Yet a bare wall behind the large barthroom sink with no hooks at all. Room was great but these little design things show thought and care for those to stay there. Two person walk-in shower was great.

I like this Hampton Inn because it's a great location with lots of dining options within walking distance.

This place is great except for the drapes. Do not get a room on the first floor unless you are fine with everyone seeing you at night. The drapery is shear. You can see right through it. They need to have another set that is not see-thru. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They found a room for us on the second floor. This place not only offers free breakfast but also food for dinner.

Room was fantastic. Shower pressure was good. Room was nice and big large T. V. With movie channels. Bed was big and clean just in standard room. Lots of room and a pull out wall bed also a mini fridge. Great place to stay.

I did get to stay at the Hampton Inn but when I called to ask if they offered certain features in the room — Joe (the very nice employee that I spoke gave me the name of 2 hotels in the area that did. I think that is wonderful customer service. Excellent Joe.

Location was good. We were not greeted with the usual level of service being that we are Hilton gold members. The heater in the room was extremely noisy and made strange sounds every time it cut off.

Hotel services were fantastic. I loved the free dinner and drinks between 5-7pm. The room was clean and spacious. A bit on the aging side, but overall a really great experience.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and everything I needed was there, except the shower was a little rusty and I didn't have very hot water. I would stay there again for a quick night when travelling.

Rooms need updating. Need plugs for cell phones near beds, led lighting instead of low light CFL bulbs, newer showerheads etc… Adequate but not any more than that. Their breakfast, on the other hand, was better than I expected.

The grounds were clean, the lobby was beautiful and the staff Peron Alisha was nice and accommodating. Fresh coffee and tea was available 24 hours. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.

One of the nicest hotels I've been at. I know that doesn't say much, but it was clean, the right price, & offered a great breakfast. The clerk was very friendly and happy to help. It was all very quick, quiet, and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved it! Spacious room in a somewhat old school, but perfectly comfortable hotel. Greatest detail was the courtesy bottle of water at the check in! So necessary and right on for the branding! Excellent service and spotless everything! Also, I truly appreciate the soap bars. Good quality everything and incredibly comfortable bed!

Clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff here is super friendly, and helpful. I just checked in after not having been here for several months, and the woman at the desk greeted me by name. It's a very nice, and homey, touch.

The pillows are great the bed is comfortable rooms are clean. They keep you well fed with a breakfast buffet, a bag lunch, and then a spread for dinner. Staff is friendly. They provided me with toothpaste and a brush because I lost mine which was very nice. I would stay here again.

Great little hotel, right off the freeway at the WV and VA state line. Service was very nice and professional. Room was clean and quiet. I did miss having a refrigerator though, most Hamptons include that in all their rooms but not this one. The location is perfect, as there are 4 to 5 restaurants in easy walking distance. The hotel offers a small continental breakfast with a few hot bar items. Breakfast was mostly a miss for this visit, eggs were too done, and they offered diced honeydew and pineapple. That makes for a strange tasting combination. Other bread and waffle items were on par. Will visit again if the need arises.

This Hampton Inn is a little more spartan than others. No fridge in the room and the breakfast area was too small. As for the details there was a lot that left me disappointed. The food was pretty low quality (things like the hard boiled eggs were over cooked, the oatmeal was watery, and the coffee was just bad), the balance ball in the exercise room was under inflated, and the pool towels were the smallest I have ever seen. On the bright side the pool was very large and well kept, the service was good, and the room was clean (except for a plastic bag left over under a table from the previous tenant). If you are just looking for a safe place to sleep this will suffice, but this place is not as good as other Hampton Inns I have stayed at.

Booked a block of rooms for my wedding this July over a year in advance. Now that my guests are booking their rooms, I've come to find that they did not actually block the proper amount or type of rooms as I was promised in my signed contract. Invitations have long ago gone out with THEIR information on it, yet my guests are being turned away and told the block/hotel is completely full. No one in sales seems to care that they've screwed me over, and they have offered no help in remedying the issue. I've been given the run around and now it seems I will have guests, including family coming in from out of town that I never get to see, spread across all different hotels because they didn't do their job properly. Very frustrating experience.

Stayed at this hotel overnight while traveling with the family and the location was conveniently located next to the interstate and restaurants close by. The lobby of the hotel was very open, clean and appealing. The first room they gave me was located right next to the elevator making it hard to sleep with kids. Joe was very accommodating and professional and moved me to another room no problem. Both rooms had some cosmetic issues but other than that no problems. Ask for Joe when you check in and he will take good care of you.

We had very nice stay at Hampton Inn Princeton. Great hotel. The staff was excellent, especially the front desk staff. The breakfast was superb. The room was spacious and comfortable. Wish we could stay here longer.

This is the best Hampton Inn ever! Manager's hour starts at 5 PM. They provide a wonderful meal with wine and beer. The breakfast is usually Omlettes and potatoes. This place is a great feeder!

Need a place to stay near Princeton? Try this Hampton Inn. Nice size rooms, and they're well appointed. Neutrogena bath products. Friendly, efficient staff. The included breakfast is nice — — more than just the continental breakfast, with decent fruit, yogurt, and eggs/protein.

A good Hampton Inn like all others. The staff is friendly and keeps the breakfast stocked and clean. I appreciate that. My only complaint is that the two-bed rooms have double beds and not queens.

One of my favorite hamptons food and drinks from 5pm til 7pm. Rooms are always clean.

Larger size rooms. Complementary dinner!? Wow. First Hampton Inn I have stayed at where that has happened. Staff was nice. Only gripe I have is there was hair on my bathroom floor.

4 1/2 stars. Very clean, beds and pillows are comfortable, shampoo/lotion samples are Mutagens, only negative is the bathroom didn't have a vent so the mirror fogged up. Breakfast was good but would liked to of had a meat. Mostly breads (bagels, pastries, cereal, waffles, muffins). When we checked in they had coffee for me and popcorn for the kids.

Wonderful staff and on site dinner options — after an extremely long day the staff went above and beyond to ensure a large group of starving cyclists were well fed, extending their dinner hours much later than their original schedule.

The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel chain.

We were on the third floor, the blinds going up and down were noisy from other rooms and stiff in our own room. People were great. Breakfast was a perk as always when we stay there, 9 out of 10

Facilities are very nice for the area. They are new and none smoking so you don't have the lingering smell many of the nearby hotels have. The only downside is the water pressure is crazy low in the shower and the water only gets luke warm.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn for 5 months of business trips. Taylor, Monica, Regina and the other staff were awesome. After just the first couple of nights they knew me personally. I literally walked in late one night and instead of having to check in I was given my room key and kept walking right to the elevator. That was only my second week there out of dozens. I can't name all the staff but they all knew my name. Only desire is that their shuttle van would pick me up at Princeton Junction train station and take me to the Budget rental car. Would save me $14-20 each cab ride.

I liked the free breakfast and dinner. The building and amenities were not as modern or upscale that I am accustomed to.

Hotel was very clean, as you would expect from a Hampton Inn. The breakfast was good. The room did not have a frig or microwave, I was a little disappointed about that, most Hamptons have them. Service was very friendly and quick check in/out. Breakfast staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was very satisfied and should stay there again.

This is the best Hampton Inn in the area in my opinion… possibly the best hotel in general within the Princeton area. I travel for work often so I usually end up at a hotel somewhere in the Princeton area. I've stayed here twice and both stays were a great experience. Room was a great size, bed was comfortable, room had a mini-fridge (unlike the Hilton down the street as well as other Hampton Inns I've stayed at), and the staff was very friendly. I have no complaints!

On the strip, some traffic at rush hour. Rooms are good. Staff was nice.

Appreciated the friendly staff so much. After a very long day of driving, I found that my reservation had disappeared completely. Monica called another Hampton Inn, and offered a room. She walked us to the room and pulled out the wall bed. She later found me a wall glass. Everything happened with a smile as if it was no trouble at all.

Very nice staff, amazing rooms and very nice fitness area. Had a hot breakfast. I loved the design of the rooms. Beckly wanted too much money. Its worth the extra push too stay for the rates were spot on.

I don't write reviews BUT I must say that my stay here at the Hampton Inn has been pleasant and look forward to coming here next week. The staff here is professional, nice and VERY accommodating. The staff seems to be customer oriented and wish ALL Hampton Inns were like this. If you are ever visiting Princeton, NJ. This is the place to be. You won't regret it. I also had to cancel an Expedia reservation as my company does not allow reimbursement of prepaid reservations through corporate cards. The staff was very helpful and most importantly they were able to cancel the reservation free of charge.

Prior review about breakfast not having hot items must have been pretty old. It was the standard hot breakfast: 2 waffle irons, hot meat/egg/potato, etc. Rooms are a bit darker than normal during the day because if you open the blackout curtains, there is no second set of gauzy curtains to let in light and still have privacy.

Staff is great, very friendly and when something is needed, they are right on it! No waiting at all. Hotel is very clean and nice. Rooms are great. Only bad thing is when you need a room with 2 beds, they're only full size not queens. The room that was avail for us (hotels around here were all filled) was a king bed, with a twin size pull out couch. Restaurants were in walking distance, which was fantastic for us and the boys.

I just wanted to say that Tony and his staff have to be the most accommodating staff of any hotel that I have stayed at. I run a catastrophe response company when hurricanes hit. I have stayed at this property, along with several other employees for months at a time over the last three years. They are awesome! I'm not even sure if any of the front staff have left and taken another job. This lets me know that the management does an outstanding job taking care of its employees.

For the price there is no better around here. Very clean, great amenities and the people were great. There's even an outdoor area with a grill and fire pit next to the pool. We will stay here again.

Hotel is ok. Good service and clean. Bad and cheap breakfast choices and hotel has safety issues. Stayed for several days and had a key to my room issued to me without front desk checking my ID or asking for my name. Stayed in Doubletree two doors down the road and it was much much better and nicer. It was only $15 more.

This Hampton inn is great I stayed here for 8 nights and. It was a pleasure. The rooms are very spacious, the free dinner Monday through Thursday is brilliant, staff is friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

2nd time we've stayed here and it's a solid choice for families. It's quiet, clean (at least as far as hotels go) staff friendly, and indoor pool and gym is a plus.
