Everything very clean in the room but those elevators are disgusting how dirty they are that they do not want to go down in them better in them by the stairs and still the disgusting of the Hausmem told me not to go down the stairs that was forbidden.

My experience at Crowne Plaza Edison was fairly enjoyable. The lobby was clean and had a free breakfast buffet. The food was great for a hotel breakfast. The room was clean but the smell was a little off. Besides from that, the hotel is great for a one night stay.

It's a very convenient location! A little odd, as it's easily mistaken for an office building from the outside, but not a big deal. Hotel staff has been friendly and gone above and beyond to make sure we have a comfortable, frustration-free stay from their side. They just redid their steakhouse menu, and the food is delicious (breakfast as well! ) My only complaints are that the rooms are a bit out of date (older technology), the faucets could use some pressure checks, and the shower heads are very low. Also, my room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. All these things considered, I still enjoyed my stay and had a great experience.

Older hotel that’s been kept up pretty well. Top floor was under construction during my visit. Big rooms were clean, staff was friendly, no problems, but nothing over the top either. Would stay again if in Edison.

I don’t write reviews but I was very satisfied with the service with Dana at the counter! She was very professional and made me feel comfortable I was visiting from Kentucky with my niece and was the first time staying with crowne and I must say I would definitely recommend my family and friends to stay with your company. The food was not your typical hotel food it was very good and I appreciate all the information Dana had told us. She suggested a few local place to visit and made us really enjoy our vacation! Thank you Dana and the team you will be seeing us soon!

Does not even rate a star. Had an appointment tonight to see the ballroom for our wedding next year however the person we were to meet with couldn't be bothered to stay to meet with us. We found when we got there that she left to take her cat to the vet. She didn't have the decency to call and cancel. They then tried to pass us off to someone else that couldn't help us. Edit: I received a reply from management offering dinner for two on the date of our reschedule. Why would we want to reschedule when you treated us so badly? Christine, the girl who blew us off, called my fiance to follow up and didn't even apologize. She just gave a cheap excuse that she "tried to email to reschedule" no email was ever received. Yet she had my fiance's cell number the whole time and didn't bother calling.

Family all lives 1 mile away. Unfortunately when I come to visit there is no room for extra guests. I wanted someth really close. This hotel is immaculate! For the price you cant beat it! Great customer service and very clean. Highly recommend!

Big rooms which are well maintained and provides standard facilities that is expected in an average hotel. There are options for food in the vicinity… So if one is on a business trip or vacation it could work out well. Breakfast is included in the package… They serve scrambled eggs, breads, fried diced potatoes, fruits, sausages, bacon, juices, coffee, tea… Don't expect any changes to the breakfast menu and after a couple of days it can be difficult Other quick bites and meals are available too for those who don't want to move out of the facility…

Very disappointed that there was no pool and then the group we were with we were all over the place. 4 of us booked together and the 2 separate floors. The dinning area for breakfast was awful dirty. The glass shelves by the toasters had fur on them, they were so dirty. Our third morning and last morning had to change breakfast rooms. It was so cold, even the oatmeal with a burner under it was cold. Very unhappy with this place. Needs a MAJOR cleaning.

Staff was very friendly and professional with every interaction and passing that I had. The hotel was in need of updating though which is the main reason for my rating. Bed wasn’t very comfortable, door handles, locks, shower, paint, etc all see like they haven’t been updated in the past 30 years. TV was junk. No microwave or fridge in room. The hotel is in a pretty nasty area too. Not the kind of place most people would feel comfortable walking around outside at night. The area is kind of a hassle for driving too.

Ordinary hotel… Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Nothing much to do around. Staff is generally disinterested and casual. Poor service standards. Room is nice, Spartan but clean and large.

Family room where we stayed were quiet dull. DISCRIMINATION among the guests according to the booking. No drinking water facility/fountain.

I was an over night guest for 1 night. Overall the stay was ok. But my main issues were with the bathrooms. In stayed in 4015, and visited friends who were staying in 5020, 5019 (presidents suite), and 5017 (I think. It was the room connected to the suite on the left… So I assume it was 5017, although it may have been 5015. But I never entered from the front door) so I'm all the bathrooms I noticed that there was no exhaust fan. So the bathroom would stay steamy and the mirror had a constant fog on it. The other issue I noticed, was the toilets either ran slow or clogged easily. With simple use they began malfunctioning. Other than that, the rooms were pretty spacious. Very similar to other Crowne Plazas that I've stayed in. Bathrooms were bigger than the new Brunswick CP I almost forgot. The only other issue I had was trying to make a reservation. After checking online, I saw the hotel was "sold out". So I called to see if there were any rooms. The reservation rep told me the same. I was trying to book for 5/5-5/6 1 night. So I asked her could she try looking to see if 5/4-5/6 was available. And rudely she said something to the effect of… We just checked for the Saturday, it's sold out. So I just accepted it for what it was. But the next day I thought let me check online and see what happens because she sounded like she never actually checked. So I check for the 1 night and it is "sold out". But low and behold, after I put in 5/4-5/6… They have rooms.

I went to the Crowne Plaza Edison for a Continuing Education event. The staff was very friendly and polite, and it was in a very nice and clean area. I ate at Christies, the attached restaurant, for lunch. Though the price was a bit on the high side ($13 for a Chicken Cobb salad), I was very pleased with the service. The food was delicious. I would go back, if given the chance.

Rooms: comfortable vand clean, wish there was a vent in the bathroom for the shower. Location: easy access from pretty much everywhere locally and you can't quite miss it. Service: great service, can't complain.

The Crowne Plaza made this visit Amazing! Johnny, in the restaurant was so very accommodating and pleasant. We had a huge party that didn't all come in at the same time, but he not only made sure that we were all together, but he did it with a SMILE! HATS OFF TO YOU JOHNNY!

The Crowne Plaza was suggested to me as temporary housing due to a fire at my apartment complex. They were generous enough to reduce the cost of my room and provide vouchers for breakfast. I had a room next to a noisy family the first two nights before requesting relocation. They accommodated me on the opposite side of the hotel. Their business center in the 5th floor did not work but I was able to rewire the workspace to fit my needs along with having additional privacy. The only gripe I have with this hotel is the room service and specifically the front desk attendant, Dana, who fails to listen and falls extremely short on what I desire and expect from a front desk/customer service associate. She was extremely disrespectful and her demeanor was condescending when I ask her to adjust my room service bill. Due to a personal error, and I admitted fault as well, the room service bills come included with 18% gratuity in addition to a $2 delivery charge. I added gratuity on top and I asked for the charge to be reversed to the original amount due to human error. She made every excuse under the sun, didn't listen or even look at the receipt before saying no. It is my strong opinion that if I'm paying to stay at a hotel, I expect the staff to be courteous and obliging regardless if the situation at hand. While my experience was spoiled by her rude behavior and the restaurants charge policy, beyond that I had a pleasantly average experience.

Decent hotel, but dated. Room was nice and large. The utilities (room temperature and water temperature) were difficult to control and tended towards extremes. The breakfast buffet in the AM was ok, but something I would have expected at a Best Western. Overall decent hotel, but it needs updates.

I attended a beautiful event in the banquet facility. The food was delicious, the room was beautiful and the staff was very courteous!

The power went out. Stuck for a while thanks to that. Missed wake up calls. Fan in rooms bathroom didn't work, so the room smelled bad. Heat /AC didn't work so room was consistently fluctuating temps. Uncomfortable bed. Requests went unanswered. Breakfast was on point and Julio's awesome service added another star for sure.

Been using this place for several years. Minimal service we require has been good. Place is clean but it needs a facelift now. Minor housekeeping issues need to be addressed in public areas.

The service was impeccable, room was clean and my drink was strong. What else do you need when you're traveling on business? Strong Wi-Fi? I guess they can work on that but otherwise great location. I would visit again.

The drinks weren't that great (we got specials, happy ending and tropical sunrise). The food was fine (burgers not hot) but not for the price they were charging. Same with the dessert and drink. The tiramisu wasnt too bad tho and loved the fries.

Very good place to stay. Price is reasonable and there is a restaurant available with a bar. The place is excellent and many rooms to choose from. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent place to stay.

We have stayed here 3 times now, mainly for business. Very friendly staff overall. The rooms are a good size, nice and big. The ones we stayed in had a fridge and microwave which was great since we often stayed for a week or more. I think those are the "executive" rooms. Rooms in the front of the hotel (on the road) are pretty noisy. The road is busy and I was often woken up by trucks or sirens at night. Try to get a room at the back — it's much quiter! Unfortunately, the hotel is in dire need of an update. The carpets in the hallways need to be changed. During out first stay, we had plumbing issues. The room we had on our most recent stay had duck tape and some weird stuffing (not insulation, but some sort of cloth or something) along the edges of the window. The rooms can get stuffy and dingy. Actually, much of the hotel (other than the restaurant and lobby area) has that dingy smell. It is just an old hotel — there's no other way to put it. Nevertheless, the rooms are not necessarily dirty. They can be dusty and sometimes show signs of skimming by the cleaning crew (dirty bathroom door, for instance, that never seems to get cleaned). The conference rooms, restaurant, and lobby are nice and seem well maintained. Breakfast comes at a good price and the service there always impresses me. Unfortunately, the buffet could use some variety from day to day. The location is good, close to highways.

Pretty good. Was upgraded to the 'executive suites' by a very cordial staff. The room feels like a standard room that's just bigger to say it is. It didn't feel like the space was an actual upgrade.

My church youth used one of their rooms as the venue for our night of worship. We invited a bunch of other churches to participate and everyone thought that the locale was perfect. It fit our 150 guests comfortably and had great acoustics for music. The staff was also very helpful during clean up. Looking forward to our next event there!

No amenities such as shampoo and conditioner. No refrigerator, no small refreshments or liquor bottles in room. The chairs in lobby were really dirty and need to be replaced or reupolstered. I wouldn't sit in them. Room large and clean, staff friendly. Hotel saw better days, expected it to be up-to-date and no so tacky.

Room was nice. Twin beds are a little small but not uncomfortable. Rooms a little outdated but overall good value for the price. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Didn't try the restaurant at night but breakfast was great. Has an omelette station which always get huge bonus points.

Originally when we walked in I smelled cleaning supplies so I though it would be clean. Was in after driving 6+ hrs for an unexpected family member's death. Unpack, everyone seems pleasant, eat at Christies-nice meal, go to crawl into bed there's a red brown bug with long legs and antenna crawling in my sheets. Scares me and freaks me out — all I need is bed bugs. I call down, I have pictures, they switch my room. 2 different managers offer me different discounts and apologies then I receive a note saying sorry but you have to pay full price for your more expensive night and half price for your second and only 10000 points because the general manager doesn't want to go with a free night and more points. Shouldn't of had to pay anything a bug in the bed is disgusting but they said there was no other activity okay I believe that like I believe I was getting a free room and points. Untrustworthy and the general manager has the worst customer service I ever encountered and I travel quite a bit. Leaves a bad name for the hotel and brand!

We stayed four nights here. The 2nd day I'm pretty sure no one cleaned our room. We did have clean towels, but no wash cloths, the free soaps and lotions were not replenished. Only 1 person working at the desk, I tried to call Housekeeping, but they didn't answer. I then called the main desk, but she didn't have time to answer. They were kind enough to furnish continental breakfasts for us, but the food was cold. Same breakfasts each day. That room was kept so cold, so the plates were cold making our food cold. Overall it was ok.

Reasonable prices for what you get. Nice rooms but very dated. Excellent location to New York and New Jersey. The restaurant is great and the staff is moderately helpful.

The food at Christie completo Steakhouse was excellent, although the service was a little slow.

They put me up on the quiet top floor without even asking. Super friendly for being in North Jersey. Great hospital rate too.

Have been here a couple of times for work conferences. It's a great place to hold a business meeting. The staff is very helpful.

The breakfast served was great with the exception of the eggs which were runny. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The coffee was fine.

Location is nice: you can get around nearby pretty easy. Inside looks very nice and its a quiet hotel. Room was very big and clean. My room would not heat up. I turned the heat to 78 and was still freezing (I keep the house at 68 so I'm not like a privaliged douche or anything). One of the elevators went out which is no problem since you can easily take the stairs. Breakfast was mediocre. I live orange juice right: but since it's a hybrid buffet and wait service it's hard to get more juice. Pancakes were like rocks. The servers were nice tho. No fridge or microwave in the room for $150 is weird. You get fancy lotion and shampoo.

Went to a corporate party at the crown recently, the venue was quaint and cozy, great for a smaller get together. Food was delicious. All in all, had a great time.

First appearance, it's a nice hotel with nice large rooms. However some of there staff needs to be trained on customer service.

Well first I would like to start off by stating how poor the customer service is. The sales team and staff have extremely poor customer service skills. My wedding was held in the pines manor which is right across the street and they were amazing. Sadly the moment of happiness and joy was then shot from the moment myself and guests stepped foot in the crowne plaza. My bridal sweet was canceled and given to another guest who was Attending another wedding in the hotel. My husband and I almost had no where to sleep. They also guarantee a shuttle to pick up your guests from the venue next door since you're staying in their hotel but then deny that the shuttle service operates on weekends which is odd because that's the busiest time for events to be held. And lastly a "complementary breakfast" that was promised then became a never discussed conversation. Which to be honest I can pay for my own food but when something is promised I expect them to keep their word but sadly I got a rude front desk lady saying how the vouchers are worth $40 and they can't just give them out. $40 worth of disgusting food. Myself and my guest were just completely disgusted with the behavior. Never will I recommend people to stay here. And mostly a bride that may happen to have her wedding elsewhere. It's almost like the crowne plaza treats you like crap because you didn't book your event with them. Stay away from here.

I stayed in this hotel for over a month because my place got flooded. I liked it however, I am giving one star because I have my son's tablet stolen by one of their cleaning people. I have a lot of luggage and stuff to carry and since my son pretty much never used his tablet, I did not even notice and after moving back home it was too late to report it. Thieves.

Our arrival was unpleasant. I had reported upon reservation, several weeks prior, that I travel with a service dog (which is regularly part of my routine, and I am a "frequent stay" member, never having had any difficulty in the past). I got no prior warning of any issue with that. Upon check-in, I was asked to produce "registration papers. " There is no such thing, and anyone who has such an ID has simply bought it someplace. I patiently and quietly explained the law, offering documentation, first to the desk clerk, then to the sales manager (flanked by a security guard), who eventually allowed us to register. Apparently, this is entirely a matter of the intransigence of the manager (who was not present). Afterward, staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and attractive, in the Holiday Inn style. The breakfast was a cut above, with an omelet chef on duty. We had no further issues. It's sad that our first impression had to be so adversarial. At Westin and Hilton, they welcome my partner with a bed and set of dishes brought to the room.

Hotel is pretty nice. In executive level 5th floor they offer lounge, but food was cold and stale and limit you to 2 drinks. Every other IHG I have been to does not have a drink limit and the woman in charge was very rude about asserting the 2 drink rule before I even gave any protest at all. Ruined the experience all together. Will find another hotel in the area.

Room was HUGE. We received complimentary breakfast, and it was pretty good too.

First impression was like, what the hell is going on here. Lobby's ceiling was leaking in a few areas. So much so that there were at least 5 buckets to catch the water from all the rain we were getting. Check-in was easy even though I RSVP an hr before. Located on Route 27 and across from a mini mall which has a Domino's Pizza. Bed and room was comfortable. Lots of toiletries in room. Cons: No microwave or refrigerator in room, exhaust fan in btrm didn't seem to work, mirror was always fogged up whenever shower was on even though the water was running warm. No signs in hallway directing you which way to the exit, elevator or snacks. I kept walking the wrong way when I get out my room. Hotel's in house restaurant's menu was expensive. Didn't even bother to eat there. I opted for IHOP that's 10mins away. Check out was a breeze. Didn't see the buckets that was there the night before.
