Nice area next too shopping center and lots of eating places too.

Bathrooms were wayyyyy to small. Have to maneuver around the toilet just to close the bathroom door. Edit: Thank you for responding! Instead of changing the structure and moving walls, I would suggest having the door swing out from the bathroom instead of into the bathroom. Would make the bathrooms alot easier to use.

We were gone for the day and came back to find housekeeping had "cleaned" our room. Beds were made but the iPhone headphones that were left on the nightstand were missing but in looking for them we found a bag of approximately 40 condoms in a bag next to a bed and the wall. Gave em to the front desk and she laughed. She said she would leave a note for housekeeping about the headphones. I wish I could leave zero stars. Cheapest in town for a reason.

We were given the room upstairs. Nice and clean place What me and my husband liked most was? No Smoking sign in all rooms! Keep it up!

Stayed here for about 2 weeks for business. The breakfast was lousy. Front desk was lazy and rude. Rooms were dirty. Stains on chairs looked like they had been deficated on. We would call it the Death Western. Turn away from this trap. Restaurants next to hotel were also lousy.

The location is hard to see from the main road. It was quiet. IT WAS NOT CLEAN! The small shower was falling apart. Decent sized mini fridge and flat screen t. V. The number one thing to have is cleanliness when it comes to a hotel/motel. This hotel was so dirty. I would not reccomend.

My room was clean and bed comfortable the small refrigerator worked but very noisy. The Continental breakfast was quite lacking no meat for protein and small pancakes no Belgian waffles only hard boiled eggs. Had to ask for coffee cups and they were out of knives making eating pancakes difficult. With these improvements would give 5 stars.

Basic. Stayed for one night. Check in/Check out was fast and painless. No one bothered us and we didn’t hear our neighbors like other reviews said. The King bed we got was comfortable. One of the linens in the bathroom was dirty which made us question the rest. Air condition worked well but was extremely loud. The IHOP next door offers a 20% discount when you show your room card, which was a plus of staying. For $89/night — it was pretty decent.

I spent the weekend here with my family & I have a few complaints, first we had the HARDEST time paying with a card for our room, we ended up having to pay with cash because the host didn't know how to run a card, second upon giving us our room key we went to the room to find out IT WAS SOMEONE ELSES ROOM! when we finally got in our room it looked beautiful beds where made & room was clean after the first night how ever the bed sheets came up & we found out that our sheets had not been washed! There was a huge burn hole & a cigarette butt under the sheet. *We had a non-smoking room also*. The breakfast was the best part. Over all the stay was quite & a fair price for the annoynces.

First of all we got a room key that didn’t work and come to find out the door opens and somebody else already has the room. Customer service sucks.

Better than 2 star rateing! Clean, spacious, comfortable, check in easy, gorgeous flora fauna grounds meticulously clean. Quiet! excellent wait staff.

Not a pleasant experience. Its a good no frills hotel for the price. However, the staff were unfriendly — they never pick up the phone. When approached for help, the front desk lady was zoned out, in her earphones, and grudgingly switched our keys that weren’t working. Room service wasn’t done for three days. Last, false fire alarm rang for like 40 mins on Saturday morning at 7am. So disturbingly loud and messed up my morning.

Nice hotel. Comfortable room and bed. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Didn't get to spend toouch time there as I had to work.

First. They checked is in and the housekeeper was still stocking towels. She said she would come back with washcloths. She then yelled outside our door to come out and hey them. She didn't even knock. We didn't know if she was yelling at us or the other housekeeper. Either way it was horribly unprofessional and we never got the washcloths. The room itself was comfortable and the front desk was friendly. When we went down for breakfast at 8am and the selection was a joke. The pastries were dried up and the other choices were empty. No breakfast attendant to be found. When he finally did come out of hiding he put FROZEN SOLID pancakes into the warmer. The hardboiled eggs were like rubber. This hotel would be good if it had better staff.

Place smells but rooms are nice. Management sucks if they make a mistake you have to pay for it and when you try to argue they threaten you with the cops. I’m like you should call the cops on Burger King cause all them whoppers messed you up. Some employees are nice others are ignorant and snobbish with an attitude.

I usually feel like bw are great cost effective solution in a tight fix. Unfortunately this one seemed to be pretty dirty (particularly the bathroom) and you could feel every spring in the mattress. You get what you pay for, but my experiences with bw are usually better.

First time in New Jersey and I stayed here. Fresh beds, hot water, good placement across from the local mall. Definitely coming back when I come back to East Brunswick.

I give it 4 stars because I feel that the girl who works in the dining area could be more friendly or at least give a complimentary greeting.

Pass on this one. No elevator. Room and hall smelled of smoke. Building I stayed in was not secure… separated from tiny lobby and had a door that was actually open (not just unlocked). Had to carry your bags up the stairs. Tube TV in the room.

Just pass to deliver food to Domisilio.

Google & the best western receptionist helped me sleep better in my car knowing how much money I saved for the same thing.

Very comfortable clean rooms. Vending machines are available via cash or credit/debit card. The only downfall was a lack of an actual comforter on the beds. Instead they had a red sash-like cloth strip on the bottom of the bed which makes you think it is a comforter but is not.

I have stayed here before, but this time the Hot water took forever to and it was only semi warm. Other than that I have liked this location. 20% off when you eat at the iHop. That was good.

Rooms were nice, included a TV and microwave. Location is nice, right across from the mall. Entrances right in the front and a lot of parking.

The hotel is beautiful, always easy to spot from the road. Staff is always so helpful and sweet.

The young lady at the front counter was extremely friendly and very nice. The check-in process went very quickly, faster than expected. While the room wasn't very modern, it was clean and orderly. It might be time for some remodeling soon — the rooms look pretty old. This was one of the cheapest hotels around and was worth the price for the area. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable stay at the Best Western. The room was very clean and large. The staff especially the lady who checked me in was fantastic!

Omg this place is a dump. Got a nom smoking room, yet room we got reeked of stale cigarettes so bad that I had to wash all of my clothing once I got home to get the smell out. Floor bathroom tiles are broken, and the toilet barely flushes. Best western is OFF of my list. Never again.

Really wonderful stay! The staff goes out of their way to help out. My room was surprisingly very clean and smelled fresh. Room was modern and had great fast Wi-Fi.

Overpriced, run down and dirty. Did not feel safe. No complementary breakfast our last day and desk clerk was MIA when we needed to check out. The lobby was full of people waiting to eat. Located on the edge of a rough neighborhood. I do not recommend this motel.

I stayed at this hotel only because I was in the area for a funeral and it was inconvenient to check out and go else where. The cleanliness of the room and hotel are extremely poor. Bathroom was aged and poorly maintained. The door to the bathroom scrapped along the floor as you opened it making a load sound every time you opened and closed. The toilet flush mechanism was broken and had to be flushed several times. I would advise putting fire exit directions on the back of the doors as required by law. The window to the outside was broken or never installed correctly since it did not close or lock. I placed a coat hanger in the track to stop it from being open from the outside. In the window track was a family of shield bugs which occasionally would find its way crawling up the curtains inside. I thought that I killed them all but one would keep appearing. The air conditioner is loud and does not run continuous as normal air conditioners do, on any setting. The clock on the bed stand was broken and stuck at 12:00. I tried to adjust it but internally it was broken. The entry doors to the outside of the hotel were open around the clock adding to the security threat with the window I described. The second outside door was magnetically latched but had a large gap that anyone could reach in through the pulled door and unlatch it. This had to be the worst hotel in all my years in spite of the occasion.

Should be called the "Worst Eastern" 1) Mini fridge next to the bed was so noisy we had to cover it with a blanket and place a chair in front of it to drown out the drone so we could sleep. 2) The Bedsheets were thin and I instantly saw a brown sheet under the first layer which turned out to be a liquid observing foam under the first sheet, which cannot be sanitary at all especially thinking of what people do in motel beds. We had to use extra blankets from our car and sleep on top of the comforter 3) The Microwave could not defrost a frozen meal after 10 min. 4) Called the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it, even said they couldn't take one from the other room because their "maintenance guy" was not in today (their busiest day: a Saturday) 5) Breakfast was awful. Never had a more worst breakfast. Hard-boiled Eggs tasted like plastic and so did the orange and cranberry juice. 6) After having b-fast at 8am, came back and Housekeeping was cleaning at 9am. We had to be at a wedding at 10am. Couldn't take a shower until they left. Why is housekeeping cleaning at 8 & 9am?! It's not even checkout AND we were staying another night so they could cleaned later, like every hotel I've ever stayed at does. 7) The Grand finale: The towel rack in the bathroom broke off the last morning we were there. For an industry that makes the most money off square feet footage and are know for hospitality, this was the worst hospitable experience I have had at a hotel.

The entire place is disgusting, the breakfast area had a sticky layer of something everywhere. The carpets are the standard dive ones you'd expect from a place that charges by the hour rather than night. The one vending machine looks like someone tried to break into it and even has a note saying to stop trying to break in. The free breakfast wasn't horrible but you're better off at IHOP next door since the pancakes are hard as a rock. Since it's pet friendly you also have to watch where you step outside. The back of the hotel looks like a place where dreams go to die. A dumpster with cheap booze cans and bottles scattered around it and even in the parking lot. Cigarette butts everywhere and I mean everywhere. The list goes on, it's not worth your money staying there when there are plenty of better options in the local area and you actually get what you pay for there rather than here. I think my favorites though have to be the fruit fly traps in the breakfast area that aren't even 5 inches away from the food they serve or the stained mattresses that look like they've been there since the 80s.

If I were able to give 0 stars, I would. Management, you should really be embarsssed and ashamed of how your staff ACTUALLY cleans a room, which is very poorly vs how you THINK they clean the rooms and presenting them to be doing a good job. My husband and I are currently staying in this hotel for the weekend and from the second I walked into this hotel room I was disgusted. Every inch of our room is dirty and disgusting. The walls, the floors, every single part of the bathroom, the lamps, the chairs (which had stuff on it) etc. The bathroom is the worst part. There is leftover hair from previous people staying. We will never be back and I highly recommend you hire a new staff to CLEAN the rooms. How appalling.

The rooms and furnishing are comfortable, very clean, large, and the first floor access is convenient. The breakfast choices are somewhat limited, but adequate. The rooms are spotless and the beds excellent. The bath room is spotless and provides all the necessary amenities. I think they are exceptionally nice at a very reasonable cost.

Older and outdated rooms. Cleaning lady came in my room before I checked out and then again while I was loading my luggage in my car. Only spent one night, price feels a bit high for what you get. Room was clean although outdated. Air conditioning wasn't keeping up to cool down the whole room. Not a bad experience overall but for the price the rooms could be updated.

The person at the front desk was nice. Had to stay here given the high occupancy rate that night in NJ. Room was very dirty. Needed new carpets at a minimum and ideally updates in the bathroom and bedding. I recommend you look elsewhere if you can. If the hotel stays in the current condition, a price reduction is fair.

The hotel was really nice for the price that I payed. Workers were nice and we enjoyed our time. However, we slept in very late that morning and the breakfast had closed at 10 o'clock. We assumed that breakfast went until after check out. Though I admit we should have been more proactive and checked times before hand I still believe that the breakfast should be available until checkout.

The location is nice, well connected to the main road. The room was nice and comfortable. The people behind the front office were nice. I enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable beds large rooms clean very clean actually but down side was hot water did not work at all came out luke warm at best and that was after letting it run for a good 5 min full blast hot and heater for room was sketchy. TV reception even for a flat screen HD sucked horribly but it was not a bad room. People say so much negative about hotels in general but honestly this one was like any other chain hotel it was what I paid for I was not expecting it to be a 5 star mint on pillow place.

Had to wait over 30 minutes to check in because the computer has crashed. Ok stuff happens got it. Room above us flooded thei bathroom and the ceiling looked like it was about ready to cave in, along with the light fixture on the ceiling being completely full of water. Ok stuff happens (again) I get it. The front desk response? "I'll go get a ladder and take care of it". 45 minutes later, no action. Now we're getting to 10pm, and we have a 14 mo old that's well past his bed time. I go into the front desk to find the same guy sitting there, saying they didn't have a ladder. Ok, so how are you going to provide a dry room that I paid for for my family? Hotels sold out? Find a damn room. Surprise, they found a room. Never staying at a best western again.

Close to lots of good restaurants and the mall. But no laundry on site.

Room wasn't clean and they charged me a second night without authorization after requesting a late checkout. Was told 1pm would be fine upon check-in, charged for a second night by 12:30pm. Not great. Wouldn't recommend unless there are no other options.

If I could, I would not put any stars. It was discusting! the beds were not even made and there was some strange spots on the sheets. I don't know why but in the rooms, it smelled so bad… The internet connection was awful and outside of the room, there was some vomit pouder on the carpet. Nice! I stayed there 2 days and our cards to open our doors had always a problem. My sister's room had a mouse trap! The breakfast was cheap. Bread, beagles, pasteries (? ) and some cereals that's it. There was some boild eggs but my friend said that you must don't eat them. You'll have a bad time in the toilets.

Surprisingly nice. Beds were comfortable. Close to a couple bars and restaurants. Reasonably priced.

My experience was HORRIBLE! I was booked for the wrong day, the woman working was watching Botched in the lobby when I arrived. I had to dispute the charges and pay double for the time being and then they still billed me…Nonetheless, we stayed the night. We had to switch rooms because the doors were broken, the shower was damaged, looked like blood on the shower curtain, the rooms as absolutely DISGUSTING! After switching rooms we were still not satisfied but rather than ruin our entire evening being upset about it we went to our scheduled event for the night, came back to sleep in the room, and then left as early as we could. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The pictures online are either WAY out dated or from another Best Western altogether.

I sincerely regret ever staying here, it would be one thing if the place were cheap but it wasn't, I feel so guilty about having my family have to stay there for 1 night, there were people outside yelling, cars constantly honking, strong smell of marijuana, the rooms smelled like death, a truly disgusting disturbing place to stay, I would suggest best western corporate take a look at the conditions of this place. Rooms were like a scene from breaking bad.

My experience is bad. The breakfast is cheap and nasty. I don't know about the other rooms but mine is gross. The microwave is from 1970 and it keeps shorting out or something. The air/ heat unit won't go to heat! And it's freezing out. It's better to just turn it off instead of mess with it. I'm here on business so my campany sets everything up but the front desk will ask for an imprint of your cc for Incadentals 300 bucks incase they feel like charging you for something. Anyone could steal your cc info. And guests service is rude. Generally I've never had a problem with best westerns but this one I feel should not be called the worst western. Close this place.

Nice people working there were the only reason it didn't get a 1. Extremely poor plumbing, a shower that barely worked, and plenty of loud random noises to deal with.

We had a reservation but needed to cancel so called and spoke with a woman who said we were cancelled, and when we asked if that was all she said "that's it, you're set". We were on the road and tired and did not push her for more. Actually, she did not cancel our reservation and since there was no cancel code in their system they charged us for a no show. When I called to talk to the manager she never called back. Actually, we have had this issue with Best Western hotels before, so perhaps we are just suckers to keep staying at these hotels. In any event, that will stop and the reader should be forewarned that as "owner operated franchises" you are taking a chance that the owners are honest and will treat you right.

This hotel is horrible the staff are very rude the tub was dirty I was only in my room for about 30mins and asked for my money back and they sais they can only refund me half of my money bak wen I paid 130 for the crappy rooms never will stay there again.

Wonderful Staff! They really go out of the way to help and made sure we had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and large. Easily fit our family of four. The breakfast was included in the price and was perfect, It included bagels, waffles, pastries etc.

I had a great stay at the Best Western East brunswick inn. I was there for almost 1 week on business. The check in was smooth and quick. The front desk staff was sooo helpful-Mark, Tankila, Andrew etc. They helped me with directions on many occasions and also recommendations on places to eat. The room was very clean and modern. The rooms had a nice flat screen TV and were very spacious. The breakfast was a great start to my days, bagels, eggs, waffles etc. I will definately be back.

Staff was amazing! So helpful! I enjoyed the comp breakfast and Wi-Fi. The room clean, large and modern. I will definitely be back.
