RACIST OWNERS RICHARD AND KIM! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING! Seemed like a decent place to book, which ended up being the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at Point Pleasant! I went to check into the hotel and was told they need the IDs for anyone staying there. I told my fiancé and he came in and gave his ID so they could make a copy. While checking in they asked a few times why we came to Point Pleasant, I said for vacation? I just thought this was weird. The owner Richard was inside and from that point on you could tell he didn’t want us to stay there. We received a long list of things we couldn’t do, which is literally everythinggg, kids can’t ride there bikes or play loud and no music at all or any visitors, and the list goes on and on. Once we got to our car, we wanted to park it closer to the room, the owner followed us out to our car. He knocked on the window and started asking if following these rules would be a problem and that his “livelihood “ is at stake. He specifically said if we were to smoke to go on the street, that there was no smoking on the whole premises. I said no problem at all, we were not smoking or showing any signs that we were smokers! This was an assumption he was making. There was no doubt after looking around we stuck out in this hotel. After telling the owner Richard that there wasn’t a problem, he said “ I just want you goys to check out “, this was after we just paid the remaining balance for the hotel.

First time here best hotel stay at a beach. Place is very clean nice staff and accommodations. Will definitely be back.

Very clean & modern rooms.

I worked for this company gave them all my paperwork then had a family member die so was out for a little out of state when I was back and to pick up my check the manager said I never had in my paperwork when I did. As well as said she would not pay me and when I told her I would be contacting the BBB she said she would tell them I never did as well. Not only did they scam me out of my paycheck its also Freud. They have all my info bank info phone numbers and email extra if they do this to me what do they do to people who pay with their debt card for a room. Be very aware.

We love this place… we just got back from another great stay. Clean, quiet, and the friendliest staff! We can’t wait for the next visit.

Hands Down only place I will ever stay in Point Pleasant! Since 1998 this is my home away from home! Friendly staff and great service from check in and beyond checking out! Clean rooms and accommodations to satisfy your every need! It’s like visiting family Thank you for always making my mini vacations awesome ~ You all are the best of the best ~ we will be back again! ~ you will never be disappointed when you vacation and stay at The SurfSide Motel in Point Pleasant!

Clean place, comfortable bed, nice bath. Close to the boardwalk as well as the restaurant in back. Quiet place to relax and heated pool. Enjoyed my experience.

Have been coming here for years best motel in Point Pleasant very clean staff very friendly and helpful pool awesome close to beach and places to eat all within walking distance highly recommend.
