Not the most modern Hampton Inn but clean. Rooms could use more lighting. Most other hotels are getting better about that.

Service was very nice and ladies at checkin were very helpful.

Best hotel we stayed in. Comfy beds, plenty of lovely touches from the hotel. Free coffee, cookies. Down to earth friendly staff and a no skimp breakfast. Puts to shame some of the really expensive hotels we stayed in along our New England route. Keep doing it Hampton inn.

Clean, friendly, good breakfasts, great location. It's a small hotel with a nice intimate atmosphere. The price is a bit high for the area and the amenities offered, and On Demand services are ridiculously high, but it was a nice stay and I'd stay again.

Was in town for a business trip. My room was clean, comfortable and larger than I expected. Friendly staff and welcoming lobby as well. The location was convenient and the complimentary breakfast, while fairly standard, was well done. Would stay here again.

Clean and pool was nice. The people behind the desk were very nice and helpful. Breakfast on Sunday is just OK. The management said last time I reviewed them said it was going to change, but it's exactly the same so a bit dissapointed. Was charged for on demand stuff on the TV and never used it. Kids might have clicked around, but never viewed anything. If it's that easy to do, they should have safety measures in place so that you need to put in a credit card number or you have to verify room number and reservation number to be able to view or listen to an On Demand site. You'd think this would be common sense, especially since children stay in these rooms. Also the price was really high for the time of year, especially since it isn't leaf peaping season. For these reasons, this is why I only gave them 4 stars.

This Hampton is one of the better places to stay in Bennington every year when we come to Vermont in August. The beds, however are not as comfy or supportive as they used to be. Time to replace? The linens do not fit the bed so well. Would have rated higher except for beds. I still like their comforters. I love the large walk-in shower in the room we always stay in. The breakfast is usually pretty good. The pool is warm and clean. However they got rid of the hot tub, which we found to be one of the cleanest around. They have a sauna and fitness center. Much more expensive this time? Lori, part of the housekeeping staff, went out of her way to accommodate us She should be commended. Also the young man on staff when we checked in tried to accommodate us with a better bed… all were the same.

Nice place for a stop over. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast had lots of variety and was tasty. We were surprised that the whirlpool was filled in, but the pool was a relaxing alternative.

Absolutely beautiful! Very very pretty, clean, and they have everything for you. I've been to many hotels in Vermont and this one is my favorite. I love it and highly recommend The Hampton Inn Bennington to everyone.

While entering the Hampton, was greeted with friendliness and kindness! great first impression.

For the price I paid it was very disappointing. The only thing it had going for them was the indoor pool and the hot tub was out of service and breakfast was great lots to chose from for all eating habits. Very poor customer service very rude people not all staff but a majority of the ones I had the opportunity of meeting. Will never stay there again. Very displeased. Having small children, and being told to be quiet more than not totally unnecessary was pretty shocked. Kids will be kids.

The typical Hampton experience. Nothing was out of place. Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, decent breakfast. As a side note to anyone travelling… if you are a Verizon customer, this hotel sits in a dead zone. Obviously this is not the hotels fault. You are lucky to get 1 or 2 bars of 1X Verizon service. Just a heads up for anyone who is a road warrior…

A great stay at a great price! We stayed here for hockey. The rooms were nice breakfast was good. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. Good breakfast. We come every year for a ski weekend.

Rooms were clean and staff were courteous and responsive. My daughter enjoyed the heated pool. Beds were not that comfortable but worth it for the price. This is a basic room — don't expect a 5 star hotel.

I’ve stayed hear many times. Great place. Friendly, helpful people. Clean rooms with nice amenities. A pool and a hot tub. Nice free breakfast including waffle iron.

Perfect place to stay in the newer part of Bennington. Comfortable, clean, helpful staff. Close to everything, especially the covered bridges!

Room was comfortable, clean and quiet! Staff was friendly and inviting. Was very happy with our 1 night stay there. Would go back again!

Rooms are nice and clean but the service is outstanding. Not all the rooms have a fridge and as a nursing mother, I needed one to store the milk. They were able to provide a small fridge to me for this purpose. Also, if you forget anything the front desk is more than willing to provide it for you.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, clean pool and sauna. Not much to see in bennington area but is was Nice for 1 day. And brownie from Jamaica was the best man in staff today. Nice tip for good restaurant.

The room was great. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint was that continental breakfast was very limited unlike most other Hampton inn that I have stayed at.

We stayed here for a wedding which was located in Cambridge NY. Location was great and easy to get to. Was able to secure an early check in without any trouble. Front desk was accommodating, helpful and courteous.

Room was very nice and well kept. Good amount of space and comfortable accommodations. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Food was very good as well.

They have Wi-Fi, nice clean hotel.

I have stayed at this location many times in the past with no problems until now. If you're looking to book a room here for business, BEWARE! They will not honor the state rate unless you are a VT state gov't employee or produce a letter from the VT state gov't. They discriminated against all NYS employees the night of my stay only to find out they honored the rate for a NH state employee the same evening! This is blasphemy, since no where does it state you must be a resident of that state. It states you must simply provide state gov't ID which all of us did that evening, only to be turned away, or charged $40 over per diem which must come out of our pockets since the state will not cover more than the state lodging requirement. Myself, along with my NYS colleagues will never be using this location in the future. I am welcomed as a Gold member for business at all locations across New England as a NYS employee. It's a real shame that Bennington, VT Hampton Inn will not accommodate state employees. Heed my warning.

Front end was courteous and fast. If I had to completion, the free breakfast could've used some more vegetarian friendly options.

The service and rooms were awesome. The only thing I had to complain about was that both nights I stayed there was a car alarm that went off at least 8 times a night. But management comped us a night. My inlaws 2 nights. Overall great experience.

I stayed here for 7 months for my job and the staff here is amazing! The even brought me to work one morning when my truck didnt start. Who else would do that? Thank you Hampton Inn staff you are the greatest!

Conveniently located, clean and friendly. Breakfast is typical and unremarkable. Easy ride to see several covered bridges and the Bennington College campus.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at I've spent 4weeks here for work rooms are very nice staff is even better. Great breakfast too.

We spent two nights here while on vacation and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room, along with the the rest of the hotel, was very clean and attractive. As usual the bed was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the large flat-screen TV, the swimming pool and hot tub, and the large well-equipped exercise room. They did everything right.
