Was recently visiting for my birthday that my partner spent lots to bring us to and I had actually wanted to go since we had went two years ago and had a decent time but this will have been our last trip there. They offer 4 water slides two big and two medium and the two medium were closed and our son has autism as well as 4 other diagnoses so he is only 9 and has just recently took beginners swimming lessons so he still isn’t confident enough to go on the 2 bigger slides so there went all slides 🛝 lol. Next we discovered an outdoor heated pool that we showed up an hour before they closed it and it was adult hours. So the next morning we wake up early because it all opens at 9 and you must check out by 2. For the price that’s awful. We tried to hit the outdoor polo since we had never been to it and the night before we were turned away. We arrive and the doors are locked so we head back to the water park where the slides are closed and the two big ones barely running. We do the lazy river for about an hour or an hour and a half and try to head back to the outdoor pool once again. There were two adults at the door curious as to why it was closed and we discussed it and we’re all disappointed. At this point we have a coupon for the restaurant that is located in the lodging area and I was greeted very unprofessional and could already tell that this hostess had just done a Sunday lunch or whatever and she’s being a Karen looking for the order.

Stayed one night this weekend and the only enjoyable part was the indoor pool! The rooms were dirty and infested with ants and the ac leaked water all over the carpet inside the room. By the time we noticed how bad it was it was after 930pm and the only thing they would offer is to move everyone to a room on a different floor…. We had conjoined 2 rooms for all of us and they wanted us to wake up the kids and move all of us into 1 room which wasn’t going to work so we left first thing in the morning and the management only gave a 20% discount for the “troubles”! I highly recommend not staying over night in this dirty old run down over price rent a bed hotel. Stick to a day pass.

Would not recommend, save your money and go elsewhere. We thought it would be a fun stay for the kids with the water park. It's 4 slides and the lifeguards aren't very attentive to the kids and make up their own rules as they go. If you want your kids to cry and be upset, this is the place for you. Rooms are dirty and not kept very well at all, restaurants on site are very pricey but not very good. They are def charging for the name. Maybe a great place pre COVID, but def gone downhill now. Like lots of others have said, great world Lodge or the inflatable park would be better stays. Will not be returning.

We just stayed here and loved it! Rooms were clean, beds are soft which we like. Having the sliders in the room was awesome. We loved the water park — it was clean and perfect for our 8 and 9 year olds. The water isn’t too deep for them to be in there on their own. The arcade was great too and open 24 hours. Ate breakfast at the hearth and kettle and it was good :) would totally come back.

Highly recommend Cape Codder! Stumbled upon the resort when searching for something to accommodate our family of 6. What a great find! Our kids loved the arcade and waterpark. The food & service was great. We booked the family suite and it was roomy (and clean) for our crew. The resort was a short drive to the many beaches which was perfect. Highly recommend!

The rooms and accommodations are NOT worth the money. By no means should this be considered a resort. For what they charge they should be updating things regularly. Common areas and rooms are beyond musty, not only is the entire place and room dated but beat/worn. Badly overdue for renovations. Even the water park area has not been maintained and kept up properly. Landscaping is horrible. The pictures and videos online are legit catfishing people. Maybe worth a day pass but I would never stay in a room again. I was beyond disappointed and honestly felt like I was ripped off.

I stayed there this weekend. Was not worth the money we spent. Outdated rooms, smelly room, bed was hard, blankets were old. The lobby was nicely updated though. No roomService.

Bedbugs room 214. They are not telling people and this is not the first time they have had them! Absolutely awful! Most disgusting hotel!

Do not book at this hotel! Awful service! This place wouldn't comp our family for a one night stay, when I called 24 hours in advance because my 4 year old daughter has covid and pneumonia. They wouldn't refund! This is ridiculous, especially in this pandemic! The front desk and Manger were rude. Then, to push out the date, they wanted to charge me 150 more to come 3 months later! My rate should have been the same as the night I was supposed to stay. My daughter getting sick was the last thing I wanted and they could care a less! Terrible customer service!

We stayed there this weekend. What a great time. Parents and kids loved everything. Water park and slides were lots of fun. Lots of chlorine, which I take happily with that many people in a pool. Chatted with a few lifeguards all really nice kids. Especially the lifeguard doing the outdoor pool. It was pretty chilly and he was nothing but positive and friendly to me my wife and daughters. Hearth n Kettle is better than most restaurants attached to hotels. We’ll definitely go back. Bummer that the first hour and last hour of outdoor pool is adults only even if there is nobody out there. You’d think if adults came out kids would have to get out but otherwise let the kids play in the empty pool. Only real negative was the water temperature in our shower went from hot to cold inexplicably (room 421)

Not gonna lie I had some concerns about bed bugs and roaches before I got there. I checked the room really good and all was good. I also was concerned about the comments of unfriendly staff toward an autistic child which gave me red flags as well but we had a great experience with our autistic child here. Lifeguards were understanding and even friendly/interacting with my son. I’m glad I took the chance (no refund anyway if I backed out lol) my kids really had a good time and nothing unpleasant happened during our stay, thank god.

Love the resort. The in resort food option. Hearth n’ kettle is another story. Pretty embarrassing to say the least. Received mediocre service, seemed as if brad was more attentive to his “regulars” twirling around and laughing with them. We asked for multiple refills. Never received them. The rolls half were hard half were soft. Coffee was cold and the seafood medley was of the frozen package kind. Let’s not mention the sad excuse for cocktail sauce! Coming to the cape and paying almost 27 dollars for a plate of fried seafood the least we expected was some decent cocktail sauce. I can sit here are critique so much more but if your into wasting time and money, maybe you can see for yourself. The chips is the last item I will speak of before continuing. The chips weren’t fresh or warm. They also seemed to come right out of the bag from the dollar tree. The bill was $160. We were generous enough to leave 20 dollars as a tip. Seeing how the service wasn’t even five dollar tip worthy. But we figured with all the twirling we got a show and dinner. The table was full of used dishes all drinks running low but brad Deff had the time to keep twirling around and hugging his new tables. Money is never the option when we are on vacation, But we tip according to service. After leaving the 20 dollar tip for brad. The woman in the brown jacket up front said loudly “so you are only leaving brad a 5% tip? ” Last time I was in school 5% of 160 is $8.

We’re currently staying at the resort. We booked the room for two nights on a whim. Then we read these last few reviews and I had little hope. So far we’ve had a great time. 1) the hotel rooms are very spacious. Super accommodating for a family. Large sofa in the room as well. Everything appears to be clean and the girl who checked us in was super friendly. We locked ourselves out of our room-and it was no problem for them to issue us another card. We put a request in for a crib — and it was in our room waiting all set up. (Even Disney does not do that — you can only request after arrival). The water park is fun. The chlorine smell is strong but I’d imagine they run it at it’s highest allowed saturation due to the amount of people daily. I think this is an enjoyable family time and mini vacation spot! Also they had a Free Magic Show which was awesome!

I absolutely do not recommend going here, they have gone completely downhill within the last year! We drove 3 hours for a girls trip for our 3 young children to have an overnight and man was it a disaster! Though our kids had fun in the water park the customer service was horrible for our ROACH problem in our room! We kept getting dismissed until we brought a video to the front desk during check out with other people around us, then they wanted to hear us (so others didn’t). We opened the coffee pot in the morning for roaches to come flying out of it when we called the office about it they told us “we could go buy coffee in the restaurant” WHAT!?. As we started packing our stuff up in pure disgust we noticed more roaches in the room and brought all the pictures and videos down to the main desk. We were told “well we don’t do refunds”. I have no words for the disgusting rooms and horrible customer service in this place.

I wouldn't recommend anyone going here! I stayed with my children this past weekend that snowed, they gave me no opportunity to cancel or push my reservation, they were misleading to me and other guests about the stay. The power was off and on mostly off. We sat in a dark, cold, outdated hotel room for 95% of the stay. I had to go back an forth with them to try an get some kind of accommodation which ended up being day passes for a future trip. That doesn't even come close to the money I spent on this place all for nothing! They actually told me and other families during the middle of the crazy weather we can leave an they won't charge us another night, they rather us drive an risk our lives then properly accommodate people. I'm sure I didn't cover everything as I am still so very upset. Absolutely the worst weekend ever!

Been going here for our Anniversary for many years this was our first year with our new daughter and went excellent staff was great water parks great room was great spa was excellent we will keep going here for many years to come even though we live 10 mins away from the resort.!

Absolutely disgusting. The rudest front desk manager I have ever dealt with. Outdated and overall filthy. The water park had ample staff, however, rules applied to some and not others. My son who is 48 inches could not go on the water slide. Specifically our room had mold, water damage, lights out, stains and peeling wall paper. Concerns were brought to front desk and I was told I should have let them know upon checking in. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT go here!

Horrible facilities, if your looking for a place to stay at the cape do NOT stay here. Booked a 2 night stay for my husband and I on a weekend getaway and a spa day spent over $1000 and got a musty, moist, chlorine smelling room. The bed was damp the phone had condensation on it and behind the bed the outlet had mold growing from the damp room. From the moment we got there it was horrible. We got a package so the room was supposed to be romantic with chocolates and sparkling cider. Nothing but a damp smelly room. Shorty after our toilet clogged and almost over flowed. Then 6am you have the outdoor sprinker system shooting right at your slider door outside so good luck getting getting any sleep. Then for the spa my husband and I were supposed to have everything together massages, facials. Pedicures 50 minutes each. But they only had one person so he would have had to wait over 2 hours for me to get my turn with everything. Then they give you $40 food vouchers for the hearth and kettle. We had breakfast and when I handed the waiter the vouchers he sent over the manager to tell us they couldn't give us cash back for what we didn't use, which was fine with us but we only spent like $25 for breakfast and were scheduled for another day there so we could have used the rest of the cards at a later time but the manager just took them with out giving us any remainder credit at all.

By far the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered the gentleman who picked up the phone for my inquiry tonight was dismissive rude and definitely not trained in the area of customer service or working with people it’s unfortunate!

Amazing experience! Great price for our total stay and water park admission. However food on the resort was horrendous. Go off the resort for dining. Over all great place to visit well be back for sure!

Beautiful resort. Family friendly. A lovely resort for a boutique or large wedding.

Great place if you want your autistic child physically assaulted and for the hotel staff to give 2 f***s less. Spent over 3 hours after my child's assault by others staying at this place when he was visiting with my mother in law. I won't say resort because at a resort they care about their occupants. This place allows adults to steal children's inhalers as well as autistic children assaults. They say they have a ZERO TOLLERANCE POLLICY but then allow people to stay after a physical assault by a few people questioning my sons sexual activities. The assistant manager Christy was very abrupt and mean to me when questioning about what had happened to my child. After 3 hours she finally gave me a fake officers name and extension. Only to find out by the police no officer by that name exists and neither the extension. The police were great when I finally was able to get in touch with them only to find out they never saw the 2 video exchanges of the 2 physical assaults of my child. This is a place of HELL do not bring your children here.

Horrible service. Another guest stole an inhaler from another guest (a CHILD'S inhaler at that) and management did nothing about it. Guests stealing and drinking other patrons beverages. Would not recommend.

After paying some upper amount of $500 for two nights my two sons and I got a room that as soon as we walked in and turned on the lights a BED BUG was scurrying across the pillow of on of the beds. I put the BED BUG in a cup and brought it to the front desk. The manager didn’t seem to concerned or sympathetic about the matter. She said I could have a full refund or give me an upgraded room. Being I drove 2.5 hours and it was late in the day I decided to take the upgraded room. The upgraded rooms door wouldn’t lock, the bathroom ceiling had strange brown stains on it and after flipping the mattress I noticed pubic hairs stuck in sheet and mattress. I was talking to another occupant about my issues and they said they had a big poop on the floor in their room.
This place is worse then a motel 6 inside a 7 eleven.
DO NOT GO!

Wonderful staff excellent service.

Smaller than Great Wolf lodge, but just as fun. The location is great. Plenty of things to do outside of the resort just as there is inside the resort. I like that I could go down the road shopping and dining. If I'm not mistaken there was also a cinema close by too. The room was great. Our window faced the water park. The kids really enjoyed that. Good experience all around. I'll be back for sure.

This place is very out dated and signage isnt great.
The outdoor heated pool was a huge disappointment. It was on other end of building and was not as warm as I anticipated.
Our room was good sized but the beds were AWFUL! ea morning we had to readjust the flat sheet that was covering the mattress and the mattress was awful! Dont recommend.
Beach plum spa was wonderful!

Once room was received we quickly discovered that the bathroom had a rusty hinges and had to be physically forced shut and would not completely close. I had requested a cot in the room at an additional charge that was never in either of the rooms given. When I called down to ask for a room change I was told "they can usually come and fix it". The reason for the door.
Doing that is a result of poor maintenance and upkeep in the rooms! After waiting we were given another set of keys on a lower level. This room had an overpowering floral air freshener smell as though to cover up smells as opposed to a cleaner or bleach smell that would have been more assuring during this time. The water park bathrooms were also not upkept by the rust around all door frames and hand dryer, as well as an empty clipboard that is suppose to display some sort of cleaning schedule on the bathroom that never appeared to be done. Also, with no explanation at all the wave pool was closed and not reopened that day. Extremely disappointed that on the website no where did it have height restrictions but upon arrival our child was not able to go on any slides at all! Upon the closing of the water park at 8pm the bright lights were not shut off until 11 pm so they shined through the "black-out" curtains. The mini fridge in our room was so loud that we had to unplug it to even get a nights sleep.

I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this place! We checked in on Monday and the floors of the hotel were visibly dirty (I took pictures), the pools had stuff floating in them (again, I took pictures), the pillows were so terrible that we actually went out and purchased our own because no one slept the first night. Our first morning the smell of weed filled our room (not from us) and my 5 year old boys thought it was a skunk. The hotel does NOT practice social distancing in the pool area as the lazy river, wave pool, and outdoor pool were beyond overcrowded. In regards to the lazy river, the tubes do not have a bottom so our 5 year olds couldn't use the river and the slides you need to be 48 inches so again our boys couldn't use them, and the kiddie area is definitely meant for a todder. There's not much for a 5 year old except for the outdoor pool which does not allow jumping or the wave pool. Within our own room, I killed three ants and each morning there was more trash building up on the grounds (beer cans, pamphlets, cigarettes, etc. ). There was wrong at almost every step with this place. If it were just me I would have left, but my boys did enjoy the wave pool and I wasn't sure we'd fine somewhere else that was open. I will be writing a formal complaint to management.

We stayed 3 days, and had a blast "all the staff including lifeguards" were amazing!

Currently staying at the cape codder would definitely come back staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean. They even called a staff to let us out side to swim in the salt water pool.

Disappointed with the overall service offered. No outside food allowed at pool, but they cafe was closed for our entire stay. No reason. No notice. No option to eat or drink poolside. Only kids and folks who do not speak English work here which makes communication challenging when you speak English.

Very friendly staff. 2 great restaurants plus pool side cafe. Great water park. Free movies firepit s'mores and jugglers. Kids had a great time at the arcade. Everything under 1 roof centrally located near stores shopping beaches and highways.

Great place. Lots to do and not expensive. Great restaurants and good staff, and very clean. Cant wait to go back.

Awesome time. Some amenities are only open on the weekends. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, but still fun.

This was our second time here, the first was less than fantastic. Upon checking in this time; we found our toilet and sink didn’t work; they were quick to fix it and no other issues. Only room complaint was the heater was very loud when it kicked out; we called twice to fix and never stopped making noise. The water park was clean and staff was friendly. Hearth and kettle is overpriced, so we will definitely be eating off site on our next trip. Overall, great experience for our second time.

My fiancee and myself went here for our baby Moon… we had a lot of fun here. I didn't go on any water slides but he enjoyed them. Restaurant's within the resort are great, they is even a jazz lounge type of place.

First time there with my wife and teenage boys, and we enjoyed it very much. The indoor water park was a fun break from the hot summer day outside and it was a short distance from here to Cape Cod attractions like Aquariums and museums at Woods Hole, lighthouses, beaches, and shopping at Chatham and Falmouth. Best part, the Restaurants indoor and outdoor were family friendly, and had friendly waitstaff including a balloon wrangler for the little kids… I’d recommend it to families or business travelers looking for clean rooms and ample amenities.

Place is amazing pools rooms loft the suites very cute. Kids are having a blast… amazing place.
. Just wish rooms were cheaper. But having a blast.

Amazing indoor water park and much more affordable than its competitors.

My boyfriend brought my great nieces and I for a fun weekend. The kids had a blast, now the problem. He paid extra money so we could walk into the courtyard from our room directly across from the park, all doors were locked and what felt like a mile to walk to the water park. There were employees that had the privilege of keys to come and go. I asked why the doors were locked and they said it was to cold out… Why when we checked in didn't they tell us this, he would have saved money. He will never go back.

My fiance and I went to the cape codder to meet with Anastasia and discuss possibly hosting our wedding there. The property is very well kept and there are many different options for reception areas. The ceremony space is very pretty, the only change I would make is to put a privacy fence up to block the view of the parking lot (personal pet peeve). The water park area looks amazing and is definitely a bonus for families with small children as is the family restaurant on site.

Had great experience at th Cape Codder Resort. My kids absolutely loved it. Location was perfect. There was several stores and restaurants walking distance away. Receptionist and service there were very helpful and polite. Room was perfect size. Very easy to get to the water park and outside pool area. Will definitely be visiting again. And would definitely recommend the Cape Codder Resort.

I've been here several times and always enjoyed it. This time I have one small complaint. One of the lifeguards who works Monday nights (dark hair, with glasses) was extra rude. He was telling us only guest's can swim in outdoor pool. I showed him my daughters bracelet that slid off, and it was just a matter of getting a new one. He glared at us and said well I don't know about all that. Then because of his attitude we left for wave pool. I look up to see him in doorway with the life guard there pointing at us. I understand being vigilant making sure people have bracelet's but I had one on and my daughter's in my hand. I payed quite a bit of money to be a guest for him to be acting like I had a day pass too. I think a little training on guest services would serve him wonderfully.

Went with family on vacation to just water park portion. A little pricey up front but my 6 year old loved it. 2 decently sized and 2 oversized water slides made his day! Not too crowded and perfect on a rainy day down the cape while on vacation. Tide pool was fun and they have little water slides and amusements for the real small kiddies, too. Recommend.

It's a nice, family oriented hotel. Clean, good size rooms. Salt water outdoor pool, with hot tub on one side and a waterfall on the other. Pool towels are available. Indoor/outdoor water park and arcade for kids to enjoy. Everything is beautiful. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the humidity in the rooms. All our clothes were damp, even those we didn't use. Bathing suits wouldn't dry at all.

My husband and I took our grandson and returned today. We were thrilled that for 3 days we literally never left the resort. The restaurants on site were great and decently priced.
The room was very nice but the bathroom needs a redesign. Very cramped with sink and counter in there. Maybe they should put that outside the room, two people cannot get ready at one time! Also, we were there for two nights and our room was not made up on the second day, we had to call for clean towels. For the amount of money per night, I would think it should have been done. The beds were very comfortable!
The front desk staff was very helpful explaining all the activities that would be going on for our stay.
The slides and lazy river were perfect for him, he is 10. The wave pool area certainly needs help in the ventilation department, we could barely breath from the humidity and the chlorine. We had to actually open one of the sliding doors in order to be able to sit in there with him.
All in all, we would not hesitate to return!

The Cape Codder water park was amazing! We spent hours having a blast! We didn't stay at the hotel, as it is very expensive, but we spent from 5 to 10 at the waterpark! It was a blast! The only negative that I have to say is that it costs $20 to go as an observer, which is very pricey ($40/full day pass and $30/after 5). But over all, it was a great experience. 5 stars!

I was only able to visit my father for one night while he was spending time down there but it was an amazing time. The food and service at Hearth and Kettle was outstanding. Brad is a phenomenal server and was a pleasure throughout our experience. The rooms were well-kept, spacious and extremely comfortable. The arcade was a nice addition however, I would have liked to see some more classic games as well, not just ticket games. I really enjoyed this experience and can't wait to be invited down again.

Place is outdated and furniture broken or damaged. A/C unit not working properly along with the fireplace. Bathrooms need some work they have a mix of old and new look. Room we stayed in could have been better cleaned for our arrival. The spa was great. Pool was ok as they did not enforce their rules. Didn’t use the water park as it felt like a sauna inside. Overall I would stay outside the resort and use the amenities as they are not part of the resort.

Very relaxing for adults. And my daughter's who's ages are 6, 12, and 13 all enjoyed their selves very much, definitely coming again but longer… Beautiful, clean, staff so nice there's no way I could not come back, Thank you Cape Codder Resort. See you guys soon…

Stay away from this place. It is terrible and dirty. People are rude. Bartender in pub very rude. Asked him if he could put celtics playoff game on (rather than news that nobody was watching) and he was abrupt — "too busy — will get to it when I can. " he never did. 15 minutes later asked him again and he was abrupt again. The last thing on his mind was making sure I was satisfied. I finally left. Told manager and she seemed not to care. Thank you for the terrible experience. You folks should not be in the people business if you don't know how to make the experience positive. Even if you are busy it's not the customer's fault or problem — go to europe and you can learn a few things about how to treat people.

As an adult I think the place has a great base. With that being said I wasn't completely impressed I wasn't even slightly impressed. The only thing they really have going for them is the indoor water park. However it pales in comparison to other indoor water parks that may be an extra hour drive to get to but very much worth it. Also I think the price is a little high for the amenities offered. Overall I had to give it 4 stars because my kids, (11 year old daughter, 10 year old son, their 15 year old aunty and little cousin who is 4 absolutely loved it. Truthfully if it wasn't as pricey we would be there a lot more often.

Great fun place. A tad too pricey. The rooms are very outdated because New park was built around old rooms. Could be a 4.5 with better prices to match the rundown rooms. The park and outside pool are amazing. But your still a 3 star. Price accordingly.

Just left our first and last stay with Cape Codder.
By process of elimination, we were able to narrow down that the onset of pink eye (for more than one family member) came from the hotel room. Not everyone who woke up with it had swam in the pools. Hours of operation are listed differently throughout the place and the rules aren't uniform from one employee to another. The place was 100% booked, they had lots of hockey tournament teams staying, hall ways were a bit of a disaster from so many guests. There were several life guards that weren't even looking at the water for numerous minutes at a time. Nerve wracking with so many guests in the water. Two of the four water slides weren't operational. Major disappointment for the kiddos. Hearth and Kettle had mediocre food with friendly staff. Took forever for food to be served. Bummed that the room was supposed to fit five but had to pay additional 20 bucks for a cot. Overall, the over weekend cost FAR more money than a Great Wolf Lodge trip for much less of a quality stay.

Just a motel with lousy "waterpark" pretending to be a "resort" (but their rates are really high, like for a real resort). Don't expect any luxury in this place: rooms are usual motels rooms, small and lacking of microwave (what is a "must have" for the places like this). Personnel aren't friendly, room services are awful — you can't expect time when non-speaking English maid will do her job (and will enter to room without knocking and receiving a permission) — you are should be lucky if you're not make love with wife at this time :) Conclusion: this place is a lousy (like 99.9% other stuff on the pure, lousy & greedy Cape Cod) and should cost not more than $90-100 per night. Otherwise it's an extremity overpriced. If you ever stayed in the real first class resorts and hotels, you should understand what I mean. P. S. I forgot to add: this hotel has extremely thin internal walls and doors, so you'll hear your neighbors conversation perfectly. It's good for you, if you like to rest in the Irish pubs ;)

Great hotel! This place has it all. You never have to go off property. The Hearth and Kettle restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Grand Cru Wine Bar is open in the evening and has a live jazz band on the weekends. Beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms. They even have a water park with a lazy river, wave pool and a snack bar. It's a kids dream!

So done with this place. I've been coming here for years, and each time I convince myself it is the last. The staff is terrible, but it's mostly because they are so young and disrespectful. Everything is overpriced which is fine if you receive amazing service and amenities, but you don't. My last straw was watching the life guards tell a little girl she needs a wrist band to be in the pool area. (I was kind of happy to see them enforcing the rules) then the same life guard letting in 15 of his thug friends into the lazy river with no wristbands, and letting them become rowdy as hell so that I had to leave or become overwhelmed by a thug storm. The life guards even encouraging them. Point is, I've had way too many times where I've spent a lot of money there and have never been happy about it. It's not worth going there, and if you do I hope you have a better time than my last dozen ventures there. Never again.

The hotel is very nice and comfy. I would recommend brining your own pillow. I was at the hotel when there was that big storm. Half of the hotel had power and half of the other part did not have power. I was part of the place that did not have power. We were stuck without no heat, no lights, and no power for over 24 hours. Our hallway to our room had no power either. There were no safety lights in the hallways and we had to use our phones to help get us to the room. During the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off due to problems with the generator. We were waiting to go back into the hotel for 1 hour and we finally got back to our room around 2 AM. We were not give a refund and we asked if there were any rooms open and they said they could not do anything about it. The Hearth and Kettle food was really good!

Great place to hang with the kids and friends in the water park. … 3 years in a row and counting. The hotel staff were amazing as always and we will be back! Can't say enough about how easy it is to enjoy.

We went here for Super Hero weekend for the first time as a large family of 6. When arriving, we were amazed at how amazing the customer service was during check in. The hotel was very clean and comforting. The water park was absolutely perfect for our children ages ranging from 4-8. They all had a fantastic time and us as parents were able to get away from home and have a nice family time. We definitely will be returning to this resort in the future!

The water park was fantastic for our kids and adults enjoyed too! Clean, very friendly staff and a great deal in January! The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable in our room. Once we got there we could eat right in the hotel and didn't have to load up and leave. Hotel lobby is really pretty.

This resort is incredible. The spa is amazing, the rooms are clean and good sized. The water park is enough fun for the whole family, and jacuzzi and sauna make up to the adults in the group. Refreshments are good as well, my only problem is with some. Of the staff, seemed to be slacking a little bit, but besides that it's wonderful.

Clean, well maintained, friendly staff. The hotel is built *around* the water park, which occasionally gives you the feeling of being in a maze, but once you know how to navigate the hallways using the signs it's no big deal. We loved the lazy river and wave pool. Wish the kids could get in the hot tub (nobody under 14 can use it), but again, not a big deal and clearly that is meant to be a safety rule. The Hearth & Kettle on-site restaurant seems plagued by delays, but due to the plethora of family restaurants in the area to choose from, we were quite happy to explore town on our own. All in all, we had a relaxing and affordable vacation. Much better than that OTHER water park in Massachusetts. Cape Codder is half the price and about 2/3rds less crowded. Hands down a better choice.

Conveniently situated hotel. Very big and sprawling. On a busy road. Staff very helpful. Very large rooms with a fire! Quaint!

We visited the Cape Codder during the Thanksgiving Day week. Sadly, the accommodations have suffered considerably due to the emphasis and investment in the water park. The staff are all friendly and accommodating — that is the venue's biggest positive attribute (aside from the water park, which is very good and great for all ages). Our room was not clean — the shower curtain had human feces on it (we did call down, and they did send a replacement). The accommodations have become shabby and worn (and are dirty). It's nice to have the Hearth N Kettle on hand for a food option. Again, great staff, cool water park for kids, but do not go expecting plush, clean accommodations, unless our room was atypical.

Cape Codder definitely gets 5 from me. I've been there in the fall and winter and had the best time. I've also been there for meetings related to my job. I love the water park and The Enchanted Village at holiday time. I can't wait to go back!

My family had a great time at the Cape Codder this weekend. The water park exceeded expectations, the family atmosphere from the staff and facilities was excellent, and the amenities like the bonfire and the family movie were very much appreciated. I'd like to extend an especially strong thanks to Myles at the water park snack bar for being great at his job. We loved our quick trip to the Cape and we will definitely be returning to the Cape Codder.

Don't let the words "resort and spa" mislead you. Without the water park it's a rundown place with old carpets and older bedsheets (see pic). The water park is not too big either. You can easily find better deals nearby. Wonder all the reviews are written by the staff! Front desk staff was friendly, otherwise this place is waaaaay overpriced.

We arrived yesterday and still have another day to go, but so far it's been excellent. Our room looks newly renovated. It's spacious and comfy. The staff has been extremely pleasant. The morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I'm looking forward to tonight's dinner. The out door pool is nice. My wife is using the Spa latter today. And the meeting room was perfect.

Good central location for Cape Cod. Close to main connecting roads. Resort show signs of age (ancient electrical and water fittings in the bedrooms) and refurbishment (the water park was expanded last year). Overall package is great for families. However hotel guests only get free access to the water park if booked direct with the hotel. We booked through a travel agent so no free access, $40 per day per person extra cost! We declined. Service and food quality in the restaurants was pretty good. If you don't need the water park, and don't want the young families that come with it, look elsewhere.

This place was great for our group of 17! We were traveling with 9 kids aging from 13-4 and they all loved it. Outdoor movies for the kids every night. Fire pit, water park and arcade all on property. We really enjoyed it.

It was a pleasant and simple get away spot for my wife and I. Although the weather was overcast, the resort, itself, provided enough comfort and amenities to have kept us entertained even if we never left the hotel for the 3 days we stayed. It was relatively clean for the price. I'd recommend.

The room was great but front desk needs training. I was there with a large group we had 70 rooms or more and they just did not seem to care about that. When you get 70 rooms you could let price of water park go and the spa fee. Numerous others had same issues. When making reservation they were also less than pleasant also.

Great place! Very clean! The staff are extremely polite and helpful! They had an excellent amount of Life guards stationed around the water park. We were very disappointed with the short notice we got that half of the indoor water park was going to be closed during our time here with no compensation for that offered.

Accommodations are fun for kids. The rooms are spacious​. But the customer service isn't where it should be. The toddler part of the park was closed on the second day (only full day) of our visit with no warning or notification. We contacted the front desk about it but they didn't even offer an apology. There are a ton of lifeguards but they gave us conflicting info on what is allowed and what isn't. And their snack bar never opened the whole time we were there. So while it's a fun time for little kids I'm not so sure we'll be coming back.

The place was very clean and all the staff were very friendly. Fantastic amenities! There is a salt water outdoor pool with a hot tub and an indoor wave pool with slides! Very cool. Great resort I would recommend.

The resort is located in a great location. Very close to the mall with stores like Sears and Macy's. There is a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market near by. There is Hearth and Kettle on site as well as the Cru bar for food and drinks. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are friendly. We have been coming here every year. They have an indoor wave pool and a couple of water slides and a hot tub. There is an expansion going on to expand the water park. Great place for a quick trip to the Cape for a family vacation.

Went for my 4 year olds birthday. The wave pool was fine, the room was ok, and we had fun. It will be way better when the expansion is complete. I wouldn't recommend it for kids much older than 6 as it is.

The Cape Codder Resort & Spa is one of the nicer hotels in the Cape and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. They have good food, good hospitality and excellent bedrooms. I was here on a professional event with my school but I would imagine this place is more enjoyable for families given the wave pool and other activities.

Great spot! My son (8 now) picks this for a birthday get away with his two cousins every year. Great value, clean rooms, and the wave pool is great. Can't wait until next year when the improvements are finished.

Rooms were beautiful, had a fireplace people nice. Went for the wave pool with the family, the way the wave pool is set up there's chairs that go around the pool and when your in the pool it feels like they're spectators just watching you and your family in the pool. A different setup for "spectators " just watching their kids would be a more comfortable atmosphere I believe.

Went to celebrate our daughters eighth birthday. We had an amazing experience. Clean rooms and very spacious. All the staff were so helpful and kind. The water area is outstanding. Everyone had a blast our youngest guest was 7 and oldest was 47.

We stayed at the Cape Codder the weekend of January 16th. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast! I couldn't get them out of the pool! The front desk staff were very friendly. We had a small problem with our heat when we first arrived. Within 10 mins someone was in my room looking at it and when they determined it couldn't be fixed, it was replaced. Everything took less than an hour. We couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be returning.

We stay during this winter vacation. 1/20/2016. Excellent customer service, reasonably priced, room is spacious and clean but needs a little update. Very nice indoor/outdoor hot tubs (the indoor one is very warm should not stay in for longer than 15-20 mins each time) and wave pool/water slide for the whole family to relax and complete the day. Everything is good just need better in-room coffee packs. Should get on their frequent customer list for future visits. Definitely recommend for families. Thank you.

Had a very nice stay at the Cape Codder over New Year's weekend. The kids love the wave pool, of course. I thought the fitness center was OK for a hotel, but not fantastic. Good selection of cardio machines/treadmills, a set of dumbbells & benchs, and a couple pull down/upright row machines. The grounds & hotel are immaculate w/a huge number of staff constantly cleaning. The Christmas decorations were — — well, thorough. ;-) I really appreciated lifeguards at the pools. There's some major construction happening now for an expansion of the pool. Breakfast at the Hearth & Kettle was good. Service was solid & attentive. The bar was good. It had live music. If that was too loud, I think you can carry your beverages out into the lobby area. The room was good, if somewhat basic and the beds were very comfortable. There's a pizza & sub shop, a Dunkin Donuts, and a Stop & Shop right across the street. It's a great option for a winter vacation on the Cape or a week with bad weather. I'm not sure it's what I would look for in the summer, since I'm a cottage on the beach sort of person. ;-) But that's a matter of taste.

Attend a wedding reception this past weekend at the Cape Codder. It was the perfect venue. The while place is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the inside lobby is beautifully decorated. Will certainly be coming back.

Nice rooms and function rooms. Here for business so did not have time to enjoy the pools. I did however enjoy a nice chicken sandwich at the hearth n kettle.

Very Quaint Hotel in the process of being turned in to residential properties with a Huge Water Park. Hotel was very clean, Very comfortable beds and plentiful linens and toiletries. We arrived in the shoulder season, so the wine bar was not open every night, we had hoped to visit it as it as well. Service in the restaurant struggled somewhat with our three large tour bus groups, but the food was very good. It is a very "Quaint" hotel in need of some updated that looks to be in the future for this historic place.

The Heart and Kettle Was great with good service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The wave pool on the other hand was dirty and unsanitary. The pool was full of germs it made me and my sister sick.

One of the best vacation place in the Cape. It is centrally located right in the middle of town. Where you can have access to beach, and shops! Great, friendly place for family. We love it here.

I really enjoyed this resort. I wanted to spend some time on the Cape before July/August, when it gets really busy. I needed a lot of rest and relaxation, and that's what I got. It was quiet, no noise coming from the hallways or exterior grounds. My bed was very comfortable, and the room nicely furnished. There was a figure skating event going on in the area and several of the skaters were staying here. You would never have known it. They were very well-behaved and well-mannered young ladies. I spent much time in the wave pool which was fun, and the outdoor pool/spa were also nice and HEATED. Lifeguards were on duty at both pools. Staff was friendly and helpful. I received some food vouchers for the Hearth & Kettle and all of my meals there were excellent, especially the breakfasts. Grounds were well kept and pretty. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are no late-night dining options. The restaurant closes at 9, as do many surrounding area restaurants. The hotel also has a spa, and I went there to get some information. What I saw looked very neat and clean, and nicely decorated as well. I didn't use any of their services because they didn't have availability but I will in the future. This is not a beachfront property so people need to be cognizant of that when booking. Many beaches are nearby. It's location is easy to find and you are only about a 10-minute drive from Main Street Hyannis.

Water park is warm and amazing! The water slides are cool, the rainbow pool is great, my kids were so excited to go in it but kids can only swim till 8:00 in the outdoor rainbow pool, so it was too light out to see the rainbow! Dinner is great in the hotel, BUT the breakfast is awful and disgusting, they give you giant hunks of butter on your pancake! Hotel rooms are pricey but well worth it☺! We are definitely going back (not for the breakfast though)!

Rip-off…. Unfortunately my experience with this hotel is that management has no respect for the customer’s hard earned money. I booked 2 rooms and then tried to cancel 1 but learned afterwards they do not credit customers. OK I will stay with my family in the 2 rooms unfortunately they sold it to someone else and still will not credit me. Ok I would take a credit for a later stay only to find out at a later date they do not honor credits after 3 months. Ripped-off. IF you stay use AMEX….

We were here in August 2014. To be honest, when we first walked in, I was very disappointed. It was like stepping into the past, but not in a good way. The "resort" is definitely dated, from the ornate iron banisters — painted white — to the empty carpeted hallways and lack of an elevator. I was very discouraged, but we stayed. I'm glad we did. The staff was nice. There are restaurants on site. They show family movies in the courtyard each evening. There's a huge bonfire and teen dance right outside the huge indoor wave pool. You could easily spend your entire vacation at the Cape Codder and never venture out. By the time our vacation was over, we were looking into their sister resorts and planning our next trip here. The only reason I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is because breakfast isn't included. But there is a fridge in the room, so you could bring your own and eat there — there's plentiful space.

I will never in my life go back here. Its over crowded run down and the staff was just rude we stayed a half hour after a three hour drive there. My kids were sobbing there was guest there that we talked to who were saying the same thing. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your gas or time. Oh yea and you cant swim.

Stay here on 1/16/15 for a "daycation" there are lot of positives things to this place and a few small items that the resort needs improvement on. The wave pool and the game room were great, there was no line for the slides at the wave pool, and both the game room and wave pool area were super clean. KIDS LOVE this place, because of the less crowd comparing to some other in door water parks, like the "Great Wolf Lodge". We loved how everything is connected in this resort. This is a great get away place for the winter season. now for the bads, and I hope the resort could really do some improvement on these. -Hallways were pretty cold, all hallway area need a lot more sufficient heating -hallway lightening needs to be updated, perhaps just replace yellow bulb with daylight white bulbs? the yellowish color hallway cant provide enough lightening. -direction to places. It was quite confusing to get from point A to point B. The direction signs need an overhaul overall, we were very happy with our stay because the kids really had all their fun with the water activities.

Very impressed with the Cape Codder, it had tons of unique activities to keep the family busy, and the food was good. I would not recommend it if you are looking for a quiet couples getaway as it is much more a family resort. Adults are given private time in the pools later in the evening as well as having the spa to relax in if they want to get away from the kids.

Unrecoverably lost about $400 here instead of enjoying this place: 1) I bought a groupon for Cape Codder about 2 weeks ago 2) Five days before our stay my very close relative passed away 3) I tried to cancel the Groupon and it appeared that I missed the 5-day "easy cancellation" window by two hours. Groupon advised to, citing "At this point, you must contact the merchant, who will handle cancellations on a case-by-case basis. " 4) I called Cape Codder (merchant), explained them circumstances, they said they'd love to help but Groupon didn't explain them how to process such cancellations. 5) I contacted Groupon again, by phone, explaining 1-2-3-4 above and asking to explain to hotel staff how to process my cancellation. 6) Groupon got back to me by e-mail, citing ". We understand it can be difficult to plan around unexpected circumstances. The cancellation deadline has already passed, but given the confusion in this case we have reached out to the hotel to see if anything can be done. Unfortunately, because we are past the cancellation deadline outlined in this deal's Fine Print, their management have confirmed for us that your reservation cannot be canceled. " 7) Well done, folks! If a relative just passed away is not enough for case-by-case, then what is?

This resort has something for everyone: phenomenal activities for children (everything from magic shows, face painting and wildlife presentations, and of course the huge wave pool and slide), a great on-site restaurant featuring comfort foods and an approachable wine bar, and plenty of great shopping and sight seeing a short drive away. The resort is large and sprawling, but truly a fun family destination.

Best place ever! The first time my family went we all had a great time. The wave pool was the best. My kids were so happy to be at this wonderful placed. The Hearth and Kettle serves great coffee. The outdoor pool is awesome. The rooms are big for our 4 family members.
