I had a good experience. Very hospitable staff, spacious and clean environment. The food was very good too.

2nd day at hotel was disappointed that the pool couldn't open til there would be a lifr gaurd on duty. The gym was not equipment friendly. Tough to get them going. Room was cool but it needed to have a microwave. But al in all most of there locations threw out the country are very nice.

Over sold, which can happen. But lying and blaming booking. Com wasn't ok. Then they out my in a cab to another place, further out. "Cab" got lost, had no GPS, took me through a bunch of unsafe looking areas that were not on way. Cab driver wouldn't give me ID info, no meter. 2 hours in cab!

Great room clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. Hotel is next to all the amenities and shopping mall.

Nice hotel! Great Wi-Fi speeds and nice bed sheets! Will consider staying here again soon! The pool is nice, they have a nice breakfast selection, and the rooms are very spacious!

Great stay! Practically a different breakfast everyday, great food and the staff always cheerful with a smile and good morning. Shuttle service was SUPER helpful. The front desk was more than willing and informative (we especially loved Nicole) and the complimentary water was a very welcome treat after a long day site seeing.

Room is spacious and beds comfortable. Nice place close to city. We traveled from Acadia National Park and had bikes to store. They gladly took care of these for our three night stay. Breakfast in morning was perfect. The shuttle service was convient as well.

I liked this hotel very much. It's clean and they were very accommodating. Everyone was friendly and all smiles. I really appreciate Nicole, a front desk agent. I requested to have early check-in because after a long drive, we wanted to shower and get ready for an early afternoon event we had to attend. We got there a little after 10am and were told to check back at 12:30p. However, upon returning from the restroom with the kids, they had a room ready for us by 10:45a. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely keep them in mind. I wish I could give them 4.5

Hands down the best experience with front desk and hotel management. We travel alot, so it is such a relief to deal with pleasant people, especially when the hotel was slammed full with a wedding party. The hotel is what you get at this price point. The room was clean, but I will say needs an over all deep cleaning and the carpets! No the bar food "restaurant" is not 24hr but you can have food delivered or visit the TGI Friday's next door for the worst dinning experience ever. We were also double charged for the room (which happens alot) a mistake by the front desk but it is being taken care of.

Wow. What an experience! Every interaction with staff left me feeling like an extremely valued customer. Room was great. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was best I've had at a hotel!

24/7 amenities are attractive to me when I travel, so when I saw both the pool and room service advertised as such online, I was in! It turns out that the restaurant is NOT open 24 hours, according to the front desk clerk, and the hours for the pool are 8am-8pm. Not cool, Hyatt. This was my first stay at one of your hotels, and I am not likely to give you a second shot. You wrecked my travel experience to Boston.

Hotel room was clean; space was good. Hotel looked dated; needs a re-model. One of the elevators was closed for maintenance (and had been for some time). Fortunately, we were on the first floor, so did not have to deal with that head ache. The hotel location is great: many restaurants near by, including 4 within walking distance.

Employees during check in and check out were very polite and friendly. The bed was super hard and I barely slept. The morning breakfast was what you would expect, fruits, breads, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and cereals. The room was spacious. I would have given a higher rating if the bed was comfortable. Even the pillows were hard.

The rooms were clean and the shops nearby were great for lunch, dinner, or ice cream. Stayed here while I used it to commute into Boston, took nearly an hour if using public transport after parking into North Quincy. The mall is just across the street and it's just a great location overall, would definitely go here again.

This is probably my 7th time staying at the Hyatt Place. The rooms are very spacious, clean and staff are very professional. The location of the hotel is also a big plus. Close by Quincy with great seafood and Asian food. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel to stay. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Only thing the hotel elevator is too old to take care the task to serve. The corridor and stair smell a little bad. Hopefully they can renovate it.

I've never been more degraded and embarrassed by an establishment. From the moment I walked in, Instead of a warm greeting I was immediately racially profiled by the "supervisor" Gina who was on duty. I've been a long time customer of Hyatt and had three rooms booked for family visiting out of town. She told me the policy was one guest per room, she didn't know we had multiple rooms but didn't care to ask, instead she assumed we were all staying together? We had exactly one guest per room and then was extremely agitated when she came to this realization, then still refused to allow us into our rooms. She told us the only reason we checked in earlier was because someone else was working and not her. She then changed her story and told us it didn't matter if we had multiple rooms anyways because it was too late at night to enter our room. Gina told me there was no way I was going up to my room but the woman next to me of a different race, who was actually staying with us as well, was okay to go upstairs? She then proceeded to tell me this is a hotel for "business professionals" in a condescending manner as if I wasn't a business professional based off of my looks. She became extremely rude and unprofessional, she also said our feedback didn't matter and to write whatever I want as a review and refused to get me in contact with any sort of manager. This is not a family friendly hotel and diversity is not appreciated or welcomed here.

Had a great stay at this hotel in September '17. Staff were very helpful and kind. Provided a shuttle to some nearby places like the mall, cinema and the train station which took you into the heart of Boston. Just wish we had known that they could have picked us up from Boston Logan Airport too for nearly half the price we had paid Carmel Cars, who we had an absolutely terrible experience with from the driver going to the wrong place and also charging us a toll we had already prepaid months in advance, but thats a story for another review… ;) Hotel has great staff, shoutout to Nicole who was an absolute diamond with us Scots during our two week stay! Hotel breakfast was good, delicious eggs and the menu changed every day but I just wish they had bacon on the menu more than once or twice a week, it was so dang good.

I was there for a professional social event. Lunch was provided, and was pleasant. It was typical lunch fair (two types of macaroni salad, regular salad, two types of sandwiches). What made it great was the service of the cafe staff. There was only one woman handling everything but she made sure to check in with us to make sure everything was good and made sure things were replenished!

Spacious room, OK breakfast although it could stay opened a bit later. We grabbed the last forks and knives and saw that the bottom of the holders was dirty. Looks like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. Some staff are OK, some are nice. Water is only complementary upon check in.

Room was clean, service was up to standard. Contemporary design leaves a modern touch. Nice size rooms, reasonable priced. I would recommend to others. d. C. J.

The hotel staff were very helpful and professional. My partner and I watched the front desk staff deal with an irate customer and they remained calm and composed and tried their best to accommodate her. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nice. It’s a clean place. Complimentary bottled water, breakfast (average breakfast) and other things, every so often. Cleaning crew very nice, receptionist can work on their hosting skills though, seafood restaurant next door, best place to eat. I would return.

I enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi! Can't wait for the sauna to be up and running! Lifeguard & Attendant Margaret was sorely missed while she was off, Welcome Back!

Great, affordable hotel — clean space, helpful and friendly staff, tasty breakfast and strong Wi-Fi included. Also convenient free weekday shuttle to popular nearby stops (mall and nearest red line train station). A little far from the city center but still easy to get around.

I stayed here for a couple nights on a business trip and enjoyed my overall stay. My only complaint was the hot tub. It's was overly saturated with chlorine that the smell made it hard to enjoy the tub, the water was greener than usual, rust up and down on the handles to the point where the water was brown around the handles and the water irritated my skin to a point where it burned my skin when getting back into the pool. It definitely needs some renovation as well. There's cracked spots on the steps that can easily cut you if walked on improperly. Other than the spa everything else was great. Love their spread on the free breakfast every morning and they have almost all accommodations for your personal hygiene needs. Just make sure to bring your own q-tips seeing as how that was the only thing they didn't have. Overall a great place to stay!

Good location, though it is a bit noisy at times. Good rooms, well sized, with good facilities. Very clean and tidy, though some of the furnishings are dated or wearing. The staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfasts are above average.

The staff was fantastic, the environment was stunningly beautiful, the rooms were spotless, their beds are wicked comfortable, and they had a great complimentory breakfast. There are many great stores and resteraunts that are very close by within walking distance. They also have a shuttle that takes you to and from the T station until 8pm. Overall it was an amazing time.

Older Hyatt that has been updated. Some parts of the room and the doors to each room you could tell were older. Old rickety elevator and while we were there for 3 nights, one of the two elevators they had, wasn't working. Rooms were decent. Bathrooms were newish, but also had a countertop with a large crack in it. Mini fridge… no microwave. Full size hairdryer was appreciated. Generic shampoo/conditioner and no body lotion given. Bed was kind of hard and made noises. First night, no one came to clean the rooms or replenish towels. Had to call down and ask for some and was given no acknowledgement or apology for missing our room. They were actually kind of abrupt and rude but sent towels up right away. Breakfast was good though.

Spacious rooms. Pseudo-model look. Reasonably comfortable bed. Very nice price for it's location in Boston. Not sure why housekeeping came at 8am. Seems a bit early.

Great location. Mall across. 2 good restaurants next to the hotel, Legal seafood with excellent ambience and TGIF. Ben and Jerry ice cream for dessert. All just a few steps away from hotel. Better stay and deal then the Hampton Inn.

The Hyatt Place in Braintree has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service has been great, very helpful and accommodating. They go the extra mile for you and are very knowledgeable of the Boston area including transportation. If I visit Boston again soon, I know where to go for my accommodations.

I stayed at a standard room and it was really big enough to rest and/or work.
You can just walk around and find restaurants without needing a car.
The location is very convenient.
I just expected a little bit more from the swimming pool (outside) were I didn't find any bar or a small place to buy a drink.

Nice hotel, good location, nothing special about the service. Only issue was a questionable stain on the bed comforter.

My family and I stayed here while in town visiting family. Needless to stay this will be the last time we stay there. Our bed linens were not changed at all the 3 nights we stayed, trash cans were not emptied, bathrooms not cleaned. They just came in and halfway made our beds. Our last night we were sitting in the rooms laughing with the kids when the front desk comes up and says someone complained and we would need to leave if it happened again. Needless to say we were nervious the rest of the night that if my toddler cried we would be put out. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They did screw upnour reservation (although half of the blame rests with a third-party service), but other than that it was a good experience. Friendly staff and good accomodations.

Nice big room with a couch, tv, closet, big shower. Gym was kind of small but still nice. I loved how close the hotel is to so many nice places to eat.

The hotel personnel are all very polite and accommodating. Hotel is clean, and in addition to the small gym they offer, there is an attatched gym with pool and hot tub that is free to hotel guests. I would stay here again if in the area.

Room was spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, had a couch in our room which was night. Staff was friendly and the pool was a nice touch. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Boston.

Super close to lots of food and the hotel itself is very nice and staff was hospitable. About 30 minutes from BCEC which was great for PAX East.

The hotel was in a fairly convenient location, especially for the event we were attending. The staff was pleasant and friendly, but the building itself felt a little tired/ rundown (the common areas were fine, but the interior hallways all felt a little dingy). The room was fairly comfortable. However, be prepared to go out or order out for food: they've got some prepared food they can heat up for you, but it's pretty bad and pricey to boot (think "airplane food"). Same with the free breakfast — it's free, which is great, but it's pretty bad quality. The eggs seem to be a large batch of that pre-blended egg mix in a carton, poured into a large bowl and microwaved and then chopped up into " scrambled eggs ". Not recommended. Go out for food if you can manage it.

Completementary shuttle from QuincyAdams Red line stop. Some of the linen was stained. The free breakfast was okay, in temperature and taste. The staff members were all courteous. Comfortable bed; the pullout, not so much. The hotel is located very near South Shore Plaza which kept us busy for the duration of our get away.

Spacious rooms, decent breakfast and nice indoor heated pool. Wi-Fi is horrible though.

Always a great stay at the hyatt place, this location was no different, great room, great staff. I travel for business and this place is perfect with several restaurants 50 ft. Away from the hotel entrance.

Location quick hop from Downtown Boston. Area is lively with a Mall across the street. Staff is courteous and helpful, and the rooms are clean. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind being a train ride from Boston, the price is definitely a plus.
