Beautiful hotel! We had dinner (delicious! amazing service! ) at one of the restaurants right on the harbor. It's a great place to catch some good music, too. We saw a fantastic Sinatra cover band.

Arrived to the outdoor grille @ early evening for drinks/apps. On the lower terrace, you can be seated right on the dock wall. Views of the water/port are nice, the area gets a decent amount of foot traffic. Menu consisted of a handful of apps/tapas and a selection of mixed drinks and wine. Good place for a quick bite and a drink by the water.

A bar with a nice, quiet atmosphere, a wide range of drinks and friendly staff. Drinks are priced reasonably, considering the location and decor. A welcome break if you also want to get out of the humidity Boston summer.

Love this hotel. Consistently great service. Modern. Clean. Jeremy and Kathleen at the bar are great. Afternoon Tea is a must.

The view by the harbor is gorgeous. I had afternoon tea at the Rowes Wharf when I got there, and the interior was so picturesque and beautiful. I didnt stay at the hotel, but I definitely recommend getting afternoon tea there if you're interested in that.

We visited for the summer music series. The band was awesome! Drinks were reasonable ($8 for a can of Sam Adams or spiked seltzer, and $15 for a craft cocktail). Food was a bit on the expensive side but worth it for the environment! Great staff and service. It started raining during our dinner and our waitress arrived immediately with a nice rain umbrella. There was a wonderful breeze off the harbor and a fun dance floor in front of the stage. I'd definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed the sailing experience. The captain had a great sense of humor which was interjected during the sailing safety instructions prior to departure. He was very informative during the 3 hour cruise. The all female crew not only raised and lowered the sails, handled all the rigging they were "hostess with the mostess". My wife and I enjoyed it all with the beautiful weather and scenery. Herb & Lynne.

Wonderful stay. Everything was perfect except for the weather (which even they could not control). Stayed there for the marathon and the staff were wonderfully attentive, the rooms beautiful, location excellent and the bar what a great place to visit with friends and family. We will definitely return. Our new favorite Boston hotel!

Best hotel on east coast. This hotel ranks consistently within my top 3 5-star hotel experiences worldwide. Beats Mandarin Oriental in Asia hands down when it comes to genuine warmth of hotel staff to all visitors. Consistently amazing service each visit over past 25 years. Doorman greeted me by name as I was getting out of taxi — recognized me even after a 3 year absence. It makes a huge difference that many staff have worked here for 10-30 years. Impeccable service from all staff. Housekeeping staff go out of their way to make me feel welcome — like aunts welcoming a favorite nephew into their home. They solve all my problems and anticipate my needs. Try the signature Rowe's Wharf (crab and avocado) salad. Out of the world good. Best crab salad I've had on East coast. Don't even think of any other hotel when you visit Boston (assuming you're looking in this — high! — price range). Be careful, once youve stayed here, it spoils you for all other hotel experiences! Hotel management — if you read this, please keep retaining your long tenure staff, and treat them like the treasure they are. It's these colleagues that keep your hotel so great!

I have been coming to Boston for the seafood show for 20 years. Tiny room. I'm sure they aren't all that small but all 3 of ours were. Bathrooms unacceptably small. Food was good. Got stuck because of the snow storm. Tried to charge double price if we wanted to stay. Yes. They doubled the price! Unreal. We left after finding alternate accommodations. Will never be back and will never recommended.

Service, location, The people there are outstanding. I go there as often as I can. SeaGrille Restaurant amazing Calamari. In the summer there is no better place to go. Dinner Drinks on the terrace, Movies, Music in the summer.

Went to the Wharf Bar for drinks. Great Scotch menu, huge selection. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Prompt service, and nice complimentary snacks while we drank. Very comfortable seat in, in a bar with perfect ambiance. Will definitely return.

This place is pure class. Great service and a great workout room with sauna and steam room in the locker area. I will definitely be coming back!

Our experience was amazing from the moment we walked in. The entire staff was super friendly. The hotel it self was kept very clean, including rooms. Bed was comfortable. Room service was prompt and the food was delicious. Would definatly visit again!

They clearly prioritized the people who looked more important and they skipped over our table few times. However, they were on time and good at their job. Few times it felt as if they were watching people very closely and counting our bites.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary during probably one of the coldest days of the year (5 degrees). We attempted to venture out and explore Boston, but decided that we would be more comfortable spending the evening lounging in our room and ordering in. We were delighted with our experience from the time we arrived until we left. We found the bell staff to be friendly and the front desk staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. The room was clean and well appointed with comfortable furnishings. The city view was fantastic. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed, but had a tub rather than a walk in. The tub was clean and functioned properly so I didn't mind. We also enjoyed the scent of the soap so much that we bought some on our way out to the airport. We were in a handicap accessible room (we were not handicapped) and found that the bathroom lacked hooks for towels and clothing. I assumed that since the bathroom was modified that this was an oversight of the retrofit. The food we ordered for in room dining was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the lobster salad croissant. The following morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the frozen landscape from the comfort of our room. The room had a coffee maker with coffee pods, but the pods were hidden out of sight and I almost did not see them; however, the coffee served with my breakfast was much better.

The hotel and restaurant is very fancy. Too fancy for my taste. I don't really like being doted on… But Sean the Valet/Doorman is awesome! Give him a raise.

Got married on the Odyssey and stayed at the Boston harbor hotel overnight. They told me I could check in at 2pm but a room was not available so I waited in the lobby with my veil in and the makeup girl there for about 45 minutes. The room was great and our view was amazing since we got a harbor view.

The afternoon tea at the Sea Grille is very relaxing and the low noise level makes it easy to talk. The view of the water is beautiful. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because t feel there could have been more tea sandwiches. Also the teapot is not set over a candle to keep it warm.

The BHH is what the Four Seasons used to be. The staff is amazing. The hotel delightful. The bars and restaurants have flair and the offerings are delicious. We always look forward to staying!

We attended the afternoon tea session. My boss was treating. Was excellent. First time at an afternoon tea. Definitely would go again.

The level of hospitality we experienced was excellent. All of the staff members we encountered we're exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and eager to please. Location was ideal. Would gladly return and highly recommend to others.

The place was great from the minute we decided to stay at this hotel to the minute we left. The place is. Lean, well manicured. The staff… what can I say, beyond excellent. We had mentioned it was our anniversary and we wanted to drive from new jersey to Boston for lobster and they made the whole evening happen. Upon arrival we checked in and got to our room, 5 minutes later a happy anniversary dessert arrived (awesome) we asked Ronnie the concierge for a nice upscale restaurant for lobster and he suggested il Molo, a local spot and it was the best stuffed lobsters we have had. In closing I highly recommend this hotel for its location, staff and amenities. Thank you Boston Harbor Hotel!

I was here for a special event and I've been here several times in the past. Fantastic location right on the water, absolutely beautiful and they actually Sponsor a lot of events in the area such as movies on the water and concerts and such. Theyre definitely an institution. My friend and I actually discussed this hotel while working there — I didn't like the decor and such. It feels very old and stodgy to me but she absolutely loved it. She said it felt historical. So it's going to depend on the person, obviously. The staff is always super nice and friendly to me!

Booked a room through a 3rd party. 3rd party entered it in the system as the wrong date. Tried to cancel with 3rd party, they won't. Tried to cancel with Boston Harbor Hotel, they won't. Fully paid for date is more than a week in the future, not passed yet. Hotel sold out that night, they could rebook the room easily. This is NOT customer first friendly, more like "Buyer Beware". I assure you the Four Seasons and the Mandarin's of the world wouldn't pull these types of moves. No wonder Boston Harbor Hotel enjoys working with 3rd party bargain discount websites.

The wedding venue in the Wharf Room is gorgeous! Ceiling to floor windows right on the water for an amazing view of the harbor. The filet served for dinner was melt in your mouth. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The in room tolietries were excellent. The sheets were Frette brand and exceptionally comfortable. They have a water taxi to the airport directly outside the back exit of the hotel at Boston Harbor. Great overall stay.

The Valet was very nice, even offered us waters on the way out. The room was clean, and the maid service was amazingly polite as well, greeting us out in the hall, even holding the elevator when they saw us coming down the hall. However, that is where it stops. The restaurant staff at Rowes Wharf Sea Grille was rude. The hostess just looked at me when I said I would like a table for 2, keep in mind that they were not busy, I'd say about 10% full. The waiter started acting snooty when I said I would like a Coke. When we finished and left the restaurant, no one said goodbye, have a nice night, nothing. I spend less at Legal Harborside and get treated amazingly well and the food is amazing, unlike this place. The thermostat in our room was broken, I should have probably called the front desk during the night, rather than get up every couple of hours to turn the AC on and off. I did let the front desk know in the morning, in-person. I started explaining that even at 80 degrees, the AC won't turn off, the "gentleman" at the desk cut me off and started talking about the heat not being turned on during the summer. I said no, I am not trying to turn the heat on, but, I am trying to get the AC to stop and it is not responding, even set at that high of a temperature, except to turn it off. I explained that I had to wake up 3 times to turn this off during the night. He could not have cared less, basically was waving me on, never even saying I'll call maintenance.

Clean, elegant, well designed rooms for the comfort and pleasure of the guests. Very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely views. Within walking distance to everything, including great restaurants and activities.

Had dinner at Meritage in the Boston harbor hotel. Wonderful view of the seaport and the food was delicious. Service was top-notch and the presentation of the food was amazing. I definitely redeeming this restaurant for couples and small parties.

Nice facilities on the water, not exactly ocean views depending on how many boats are there but pleasant nonetheless. Staff were friendly and directed us to our event easily. They had live music and the small bites available were pretty good. Was her for an event, would probably go back to try for dinner or drinks.

This hotel is in the perfect location with anything you could need within reach. Staff is amazing and wicked knowledgeable on the area. And the views are breathtaking. Can't wait to return.

The view is gorgeously decadent. Surrounded by parks and art on one side, the harbor on the other and food like you be never tasted. A short walk from The greatest culture Boston can offer. Spacious and beautiful.
