We love Aloft in the Seaport! Easy to work with and our musicians love playing this venue. Cool atmosphere, great food and friendly service.

Phenomenal service! The man (Manny) who checked us in was super nice, very attentive, supportive, empathetic, and just amazing! Management went above and beyond as well. Together, they made my daughter's first concert experience incredibly memorable. I'm incredibly grateful! 💜 Worth every penny.

Easy check in and accessible parking. Both restaurant and bar on site. Nice rooms.

Perfect for families because it is right across the street from Lawn D a nice outdoor event location for families and couples with swings, music, and assorted games.
The only negative is the distance from most things Boston. It is a 40 minute walk so we used UBer all weekend.

I am aware that there is a pandemic going on and business's have to take certain precautions in order to maintain a safe environment for their guests. But this hotel totally took the hospitality out of the hospitality industry. The desk staff all had ATTITUDE. I dont like to play the race card because I am not racist, but at every turn I was treated differently from white guest. They got the good attention while my wife and I always got short answer like we were bothering them or something. On the first day we chalked it up to maybe this one person is having a bad moment or something but out whole experience during the 3 days we were there was the same. It was our wedding anniversary and I thought we'd come to Boston and enjoy our marriage in a great hotel. That wasn't the case. I am highly disappointed. I will not be staying in any of these hotels again. If I can give a suggestion I would say treat all of your guests the same. I am a small business owner. I do pretty good. Wasnt looking for any special treatment. Just wanted to be treated special.

Trendy spot in a great location. Right across from The Lawn on D and a short walk to all the Seaport and Convention destinations. Hotel restaurant offered seemingly simple tapas plates but they were certainly elevated and delicious! Our city view room was amazing. All-around great time. BTW — best elevator evah!

Very good hotel in South Boston very near the convention center (BCEC). Many good restaurants in between 0.5 to 1.5 miles away, but very little within 0.5 miles. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas appeared clean. Decent selection of packaged foods and drinks in the lobby for sale. The room layout is slightly atypical for a hotel room. Ironing board is very short and the fridge is basically in the bathroom area. All in all a good above average 3-star hotel.

The rooms and hotel in general are super sytlish and comfortable. It wasn't the largest hotel room I've been in, but it was perfect for what I needed. I wouldn't bring my family here because there isn't a lot of space for more than 2 people to move around. The only gripe is the food situation. I was hoping for a full coffee venue or paid breakfast in the morning but instead they have sort of a self serve thing with meals that are sort of pricey. For a conference like I was going it was a fine option with not a ton of extras. But for the price it was good.

I stayed for two nights for an event at the BCEC. The location of the hotel is perfect for business related trips in the area. The hotel itself is very well designed and has great decor. The staff were great and very accommodating. The room wasn't ready when I came to check in, but they took my luggage checked and called when the room was ready. The room was clean and very nicely designed and the view out the windows was of the beautiful Boston skyline. The gym sports a pool and a gym, which are both small comparatively, but we'll sized for the building and are still very nice to be offered. The attached restaurant and bar The Social Register was incredible as well. Overall I had an excellent experience at the Aloft Seaport hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Love. I arrived when everyone else did so there was a bit of a line at check in, but the freshness and decor of the place made my short wait pleasant. Laura at front desk was awesome. Her sense of urgency and execution is stellar. She does this with a smile, and flair, loved her style. She should be a trainer, if every hotel had a front desk person like Laura my stays would be complete. The lobby feels airy. There are places to hang out and he coolest techy vending machines. Three cheers for embracing tech. Reminded me of Virgin Airlines. There is also a lobby bar that serves food and is hosted by another awesome employee (I could kick myself for not remembering her name) I asked for recommendations on sights to see and places to eat and she gave me a list she even asked her colleague. She made excellent drinks. Awesome gal. I’m beginning to wonder if everyone who works is hired based on their awesome attitude. The room: Fresh, crispy and clean. It was small per square square foot but it feel spacious. There was a place for everything and everything was In it’s place. The bed was comfortable and huge complete with many pillows and a view of the city. In the shower there was and endless supply BLISS shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I’m wondering if they have this for my shower at home. Parking is $25.00 dollars but I’m from LA so I’m accustomed to paying for parking. There are plenty 30 minute loading/check in spots in the front of the hotel.

Typical hotel stay. Just one night, beautiful place! Very clean, cool restaurant/bar attached, breakfast area looked really nice and modern but didn't have the chance to partake. Loved the U-shaped room layout; made it feel much bigger than it was.

The decor is a bit twee, and the breakfast sucks. It literally comes in buckets. The entire hotel feels moist, because Boston. It's not all bad, though. There's ample room to work, and the bar is okay.

Nice hotel, but our air-conditioning broke twice. Eventually had to change rooms. The second room we moved to the bathroom door handle came off in our hand when we tried to shut the door! No discount offered for the inconveniences experienced. I think they are so used to convention center business and being so full they really don't care. I understand if your company is paying for it, but out of your own pocket it is not worth it.

I just want to say thank you so much for a wonderful visit. In particular I would like to recognize Laura and Dana for their exemplary customer service. They truly went above and beyond to provide assistance when we needed it. Thank you for making our trip truly wonderful.
We loved this hotel. We started with a reservation error which could have been complex to deal with but Laura at the front desk straightened everything out for us. I cannot say enough positive things about her — she was professional, courteous, and so friendly. She really set the tone for our whole experience there. The lounge space is open and relaxing, the bar has great drinks, and the room was beautiful. So incredibly comfortable and had an amazing view. Really loved our stay.
The positive experience continued even after we left. We had a bag left in a taxi that the driver brought back to the hotel. Unfortunately we had already taken the ferry to the cape. Dana, the front desk person, paid the taxi driver to bring the bag to the ferry and communicated with us and the ferry staff to make sure the bag (containing a laptop and iPad) made it safely to us. It arrived with everything accounted for. Talk about top notch customer service! I really cannot overstate how happy we were by everything at Aloft.

I am in the middle of my five day stay. The hotel is clean and modern. Our vent doesn’t work in our room but to be fair I haven’t even told them. The beds are comfortable the view is great. Price is decent and competitive but here’s the thing hospitality sucks! After a long day of walking around Boston with my son I took him in the lounge area to get a dessert and myself a cocktail. The lady waiting on us seemed to be bother by our presence so I decided to invest my money in …the pizza place that delivers. The ladies at the front desk for the most part greet you as “hey”. I keep looking across the way at their sister Hotel Element and everyone seems smiling and friendly and I am jealous. Yes I work in the hospitality business but my standards are not unreasonable smile, say hello, good morning, please and thank you. Make people feel welcome. So if hospitality is important to your stay as it is to me this may not be the hotel for you. PS the house cleaning lady is super cheerful! (13 floor) please give her some kind of recognition she has made the most positive impact on my stay.

Quiet. Convenient/Easy to Uber or taxi to downtown. Great contemporary design. Friendly staff. Super clean. Comfortable. Easy to recommend.

A very nice hotel near the Boston convention center. It's very stylish with a great lobby. The bar, pool table, and seating is nice in the evenings. The gym is decent and the pool adequate. Having the Park on D across the street is nice as well. If you're attending an event at the convention center this is the best place to stay.

Loved this hotel. Spent two nights in June '18. Super clean, fun vibe, awesome room design. The only downside is the area is still up and coming and there isn't a lot in the immediate vicinity. However, you're a 15 minute walk in either direction to great things in Southie or Fort Point. Would recommend!

Room was relatively small but well designed, modern, and clean. Stall shower (no bath) with wall-mounted body wash and 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. Parking is close and less expensive than most other hotels. There are a few spots right outside where you can park temporarily to check in and put your bags in your room. Free coffee.

Walking distance to convention center. No shuttle service to airport and no free parking. Nearest free parking is the street behind the truck lot behind the hotel. Otherwise, be prepared for $25/night parking. Looks cool, but we'll see how well the style and furniture ages. Quiet room. Bathroom lighting is not good. The bathroom needs soft, individual lighting so that one person can sleep undisturbed while the other does their business. Be prepared to go in the dark if you want your partner to sleep through your 3am bathroom trip.

Stunningly designed hotel. Super hip while also being technologically advanced. Incredible staff as well. Had the pleasure of attending a work event and the food catered by the hotel staff was phenomenal. The best part was the staff, especially. They went above and beyond to accommodate our time there. Would highly recommend a stay at Aloft if you're visiting the Boston area.

This was my first time staying at the Aloft. It was definitely a different style hotel. Not that it was bad. Just different. It was 100% clean. Thumbs up. There was a nice vibe and great bar and entertainment. It was very busy due to the Dental Convention. What was nice is all we had to do was cross the street to get there. Parking is a pain. Obviously, it's Boston. I think the hotel should give you a discount on parking but who am I. Free coffee in the lobby was good. I personally wouldn't stay here if I had kids. The rooms are not (well the room I stayed in) set up right for kids. No microwave in room. Small fridge. If you had a baby, there isn't space for a pack and play. In actually this was a beautiful hotel, just giving heads up to people doing research. Enjoy!

Attended a musical performance here on a Thursday night, such a great atmosphere here! Drinks and food were fabulous, staff friendly, and musical performances SO good. Plenty of street and garage parking here. Hotel is located right across from the lawn on D. Can't wait to come back.

This place is beautiful! I loved the room! I wish there was a microwave, you have to go down to the first floor to heat your food up. Parking situation, yeah good luck though. I got towed and ticketed twice. Tati was awesome! Very helpful and nice stay.

The aesthetics are great, the service and the staff are great, modern and cozy rooms, except that we could hear, as clear as day, the conversations had in the room next to us on the left and on the right. Could barely sleep as both independent rooms were noisy at different parts of the evening through early morning. I'd stay here again and cross my fingers that the guests next to me aren't boisterous conversationalists…

Modern and elegant hotel. The worst thing that is away from downtown Boston and you have to take transportation to go there. Indoor pool. Young and cool atmosphere.

Nice place to stay! Service was good and breakfast was awesome! The only thing that’s not really satisfied was we requested for a room with one bed but they gave us a two-bed-room. Others are good. The photo is taken by me at the lounge. It’s a cool idea that he guitar can be played.

This hotel is excellent and I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff was very professional and courteous and ensured my stay was pleasant. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Exactly what you would expect from the Starwood/Aloft brands. The Aloft is also in a great neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants and I would strongly recommend this hotel for your trip to Boston.

Staff asked if I would like to be on a higher or lower floor, which was nice. Very convenient if you are in town for a conference at the Convention Center or Westin!

Stayed here while attending a trade show across the street. Perfect spot if you want to be close to many attractions, but far enough away that you can unwind. Rooms were very clean. Staff very accommodating. It's what most hotels should strive for. Will only stay here on my next trip to Boston.

The room was nice for two queen beds as I stayed with a co-worker and we had to share the scarce common area. Comfy bed and nice pillows made for well needed & restful sleep. Also it was nice to have access to a gym and a pool. Mornings were helped with a local kitchen for small breakfast sandwiches and free drip coffee.

Great service. I liked the small self serve cafe downstairs. Definitely a nice hotel. Rooms were clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable, and I would've preferred a bit more water pressure (and heat). Also, a bathtub would have been nice. Those are the only things making this a less than 5 star review though.

Very unique hotel. Awesome architecture! Hotel staff was very pleasant. If you leave anything in the room, don't expect to get it back. I left a belt, it wasn't an expensive belt, but it had a VERY unique buckle and I never got it back. I went back to the hotel within an hour of checking out and was told that the "Couldn't find it". I asked if the room had been cleaned and was told that it indeed had.

Nice little find, great European feel and the rooms fit and finish were top notch. Nice amenities/gym/pool, and located a short step away from the hustle and bustle of the Seaport. Would definitely stay here again.

Awful experience. Tiny rooms with minimal storage. Few dining options, no rm service. No sit down breakfast or dining. Uncomfortable bedding and pillows. Windows that don’t block sun waking you up early. Front desk doubles as concierge with long lines and limited support. Rooms aren’t insulated so you can hear everything in the halls. This hotel is cheaply done and incredibly ocerpriced.

Modern, classy, and futuristic, can describe Alof Seaport Hotel. The hotel has a lot of on site entertainment such as two bars, pool table, gym, a pool, live music, even an on-site snack bar in case you get hungry in the middle of the night. You name it! The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a good time. Definitely coming back and highly recommended!

I was here for a workshop and did not stay overnight. Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and spacious. The doors to the conference room rattled as people walked by (summer conference room closest to elevators). It was distracting as it sounded like someone was about to open the door so it interrupted us. The lighting is dim and there is no way to make it brighter since there are no windows. The sound proofing seemed helpful by absorbing so when we broke out in groups we could talk and hear each other. It feels a bit like they have not find their rhythm yet. No food insight until 4pm, copier wad jamming up, package want delivered to our room and we had to hunt it down. The most problematic for me was the things that can't be changed about this particular room, the lighting and door rattling.

The restaurant is definitely a five star and the wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The room with two beds is small but adequate — great shower, limited closet space — once we located the extra lighting it was a huge help! Ha (switch located in bathroom) front desk was fine, breakfast was delicious — (elevators are great) I was surprised at the room rate, I'm guessing it's because of location-

Great time. My family originally from Boston went to just spend time together. The services was great the front desk provided games for us to play. The room was even better with a modern style. We had a great view of the city and the harbor, also Lawn on D that was right across the street. Great experience and a fun time. Definitely 5 five star ratings.

We were staying in a suite, and they kicked us off the patio because someone paid $1000 for it. They also added that we are not allowed to have cocktails out there unless they come from their bar — — not our own wine bottle. When in a room that is close to $500/night, I generally expect to be treated better. If the patio was reserved, there should have been a reservation sign, and adding the point about the drinks made their approach seem judgmental and rude. Other than that, the room was fine, but the location wasn't so much fun for our girls weekend. We were pretty far from most of what we wanted to do, and found the places in our area felt pretty corporate.

We stayed over night here and we loved it! Super modern style and not a bad price for staying in the city. Our room came with free parking which was really nice but they had other room bundles available. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great location if you are attending an event at the convention center. Walking distance of the few places along the shore (whiskey priest, woot! ). The hotel is very modern. Operating the elevators is like working an iPhone app. Rooms are a little small but they make good use of the space. If your room faces the sun though it can be blinding, user the shades. The bar is kind of mediocre, not much to speak of. Mediocre menu as well. But the hotel overall is a decent destination if you have business or other travels in South Boston.

Came to Boston to hit a convention in the convention center. The Aloft was priced competitively and had a great location directly across from the convention center. The room was chic, ultra-modern and very comfortable. I slept well. Plenty of outlets to charge my electronics. Good water pressure in the shower to help wake me up in the morning. Definitely would go back, highly recommended!

Great room, clean and pleasant. Nothing bad to say about the lodging itself. But the intent of the building seems to be to increase sociability; the bar is right in the main lobby, with deafening music. No room service and no real restaurants near, so guests are forced to eat in the hotel restaurant, which is, again, intended for groups. It doesn't serve single entrees, only appetizer like dishes intended to be shared. So the whole experience might be perfect for a group of friends (youngish people), but less than enjoyable for a single traveller.

Trying too hard to be hipster and forgetting basic customer service. Key card stopped working the last night of a week long stay. Couldn't even hear receptionist with ear-splitting live band in foyer. But the open concept gloorplan! Hotel ran out of laundry detergent with no convenient place to buy our own. Everything costs money including continental style breakfast. No one seemed to know the policies and procedures regarding the "go green" vouchers that were supposed to be awarded daily for refusing maid service. Had to constantly ask where my voucher was. This hotel may look good in the pics but buyer beware.

My family and I recently stayed in the Aloft Boston Seaport. The hotel is very modern with great amenities. The reason for the 5 star rating though is the staff. My husband had a very serious medical emergency during our stay. In order for me to accompany him to the hospital I had to leave my 9 and 11 year old children with our 16 year old daughter at the hotel. The hotel was aware and assured me they would be taken care of. Well they went above and beyond. My children were fed and cared for until another family member could come the next day. All food charges were comped. They checked in with me several times to let me know the kids were all fine. They truly cared. They went above and beyond. They also eased my mind during a very stressful time. I can't thank them enough.

Stayed here because we missed our connecting flight due to storms. Glad we made decision to stay here. Modern setting, staff have gone beyond call of duty to make us as comfortable as possible.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a convention, it is very conveniently located (literally across from the BCEC). Our stay was actually very problematic. We had numerous issues, but I am still giving them a 5 star review because the hotel staff not only promptly addressed every single concern we had but they also went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Every single interaction we had with staff, from a manager down to housekeeping was favorable.

Rented room for the weekend for PAX East. Easy to check in, nice friendly staff and very nice rooms. Location is amazingly convenient for the Convention center events. Rooms are smaller than I had expected for 2 queen beds but it was more than enough space for all hotel room amenities.

The room was good but tiny. Also they put me on hold for about a half hour when calling for towels. But nice hotel none the less.

Modern, chic, friendly, professional. Loved my stay, when you first walk in you feel the welcoming atmosphere, there is a pool table by the bar that also serves tasty food, and a great little snack area. Everything is new and modern. The rooms are very well designed, really appreciated the lay out and set up. One of the most comfortable beds, blankets, and pillow sets I've ever experienced. Wish my house was designed with the same set-up. Will look to stay at Aloft Boston every time I'm in the area, it's my official go to place after this recent visit. Will also say that staff was fantastic. *only downside is the $25 parking per day which is not referenced on the website (or 3rd party sites) when booking.

Aloft is one of the newer style hotels that provides fewer services, but has the flexibility of more self services. As such, you can have more control at a lower cost, if you're willing to give up some things like room service or a minibar. Eat out or get delivery instead. Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. Rooms are quiet, clean, and modern. Ample power outlets beside bed, on walls, and on the desk. Check-in is fast and easy, with available mobile check-in with phone-as-a-key service.

I lived this hotel. The front staff were always friendly and the elevators just baffled us the whole time we were there. That being said, they reeealy do need a hot tub. It was shocking that they didn't.

Hip hotel, though a bit industrial… appealing to younger clientele, which is a good thing. Exceptionally accommodating staff. Definitely not your typical business hotel, which is a good thing. I'm Hilton Diamond, but actually prefer the experience Aloft provides, but this may not be for everyone… highly recommend giving it a try.

First and foremost, the staff at Aloft Boston Seaport have been excellent. They easily score a 5/5. Then, there's the rest. I'm SPG Platinum, and I've stayed at Starwood properties around the world. This is the very first Category 5 hotel I've stayed in that is lacking in even the most basic amenities. The room is cluttered, there are plastic cups (only) in the room, there is no room service, no real work area in the room, lumpy beds, and more. I give the room 1/5. The physical property is upbeat and attractive. The location is not really near anything, so taxi or Uber are required to get anywhere — including dinner as there is no restaurant on site. The property, I'd give 4/5 — but as a Category 5 hotel, I give 2/5. I recommend that Starwood re-rate this hotel as a Category 2 and prevent guests from being surprised. I will not be staying again at any price.

The staff was quick to attend to us. The coloring of the hotel and design was great. Although I find the room to be small and tight. Parking was also a hassel. The location is great specially if you are attending anything around the seaport.

I stayed at the Boston Aloft Seaport in late August with my family and our dog. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and everything was very clean. The location was good, although parking was a slight challenge. Overall a very nice stay, would definitely come back.

Absolutely wonderful. I was very happy with everything from check in to checkout. The service was great, the pool was awesome. Bar service was phenomenal right down to the quality of the drinks. All in all, I loved it and will go again.

Attended a conference over two days. Staff was polite, conference space was clean and well maintained. Food and drinks service (assuming hotel also provided) was very good. Would certainly be happy to hear that my next conference would be scheduled there.

Small rooms that feel big by optimizing space. Modern and sleek, friendly and very helpful staff. Their convenience store leaves something to be desired with selection and their business center was down during a large conference. Otherwise very nice food at the bar and funky, fun atmosphere.

Stated in a handicap accessable room and was very roomy with an amazing view of the harbor and a decent view of the city. AC was good. Had sort of paper thin walls. Could hear a guy peeing and blowing his nose and mumbling sometimes. All in all a great experience there. Would go back for sure.

Cons: No restaurant on site (so no room service, etc. ) Room's are small with shower only. Hotel is super clean and modern with a lot of modern touches. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. This place would be great if they had a full service restaurant with room service.

The atmosphere was very welcoming, it seems like a cool chill place that anyone can just walk in. The room were well designed. They were modern. For the location there isn't much to do once you leave the hotel.

Has a very modern feel that fits well with the boston area. Rooms are nice and clean and come with free Wi-Fi. The only down side to the room is that the shower has a small window that looks out into the room, also allowing people to try and look in. The window is on the far side of the room and you need to be right in front of it to look in or out but is still alittle odd. All in all still a great place to stay.

Rooms are clean and up to date (too many power outlets and many built in USB) Wi-Fi rivals speed at my house and staff is amazing!

Signage was easy to read and helpful. Meeting rooms were kept at great temperatures and chairs were relatively comfortable. Catering was well presented (two double sided serving lines for about 100 guests). Staff were attentive without being disruptive in the sessions. Great event, thank you for hosting us!

A unique hotel with a colorful modern theme. The room I stayed in was very comfortable with shades that actually blocked out all the light during the day, so I could take naps. I also appreciate their resource saving measures (electricity matter switch, shower soap dispensers). I would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, nice colors. Fixtures are nice. Rooms are a bit small, water pressure in sink is s low, and there were no printouts of TV channels or entertainment options.

Room was great. Hotel was brand new. Staff was friendly and informative. Plus they gave us a good deal on the room. I would stay again.

Staff doesn't have everything together quite yet, check-in took 20+ min and resulted in errors. I understand that this is a SPG lower-end property, but the place felt cheaper than a Best Western/LA Quinta/Days Inn.

I was only in the lobby bar but it was very cool and modern. Waitress was quick and friendly. Overall great atmosphere.

This hotel just opened a few days ago and it shows. When I first book they were offering a parking package. In between then and when a check in they did away with that option and offered no compensation for it. I book a king room and was forced to take a double as they over booked the rooms they had available. Management is nowhere to be found and if you try and address any of these issues you will meet a brick wall. The hotel is UGLY! It is trying so had to be modern it left good taste by the way side. Overall I feel these are all problems that can be addressed and fixed, But due to how poorly I was treated I would never go back there to find out if they did.
