Great place to stay very clean and the staff is awesome we go back little older rooms but it's the beach don't be fooled good place to stay thumps up Missy thank you 😀

Owner Missy was so friendly and great! The rooms were clean and a short walk to the beach and the pier. Sunrise to the front of the motel and sunset at the back. The train was fun for the kids to race out to the back deck and make sure they got to wave. Overall we loved our stay and hope to make it back next year!

We love staying at the Sea Drift. This is year 2 and we plan on coming back every summer. The owner is amazing. So friendly, helpful and even calls you by name every time you see her! The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The walk to the beach is 2 minutes and a very easy 10-15 walk to downtown OOB. 5 stars without a doubt!

The Sea Drift Motel is a great place to stay at Old Orchard Beach! 2 minute walk to the beach, always has clean rooms many returning customers over the years that become friends you see on your vacation. Family friendly.

Have been coming to the Sea Drift for over 30 years. Family oriented. Easy access — Right across from the beach. Short walk to town. Quiet side of town. Super clean motel, friendly, courteous and accommodating. You’d be foolish not to stay here.

My husband and I stayed a couple of years ago. The staff and owner was very nice. Loved the pool and how the ocean was only a few steps away.

Omg MISSY IS an Angel, and called me back in AZ, and confirmed everything, and made sure our key was hidden when we Showed up after 11pm, she is AMAZINGLY AWESOME.

Missy was great! My schedule changed last minute and Missy was very accommodating to change things around during a busy weekend. My son and I had a great time. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great view. I will be staying there again! Thank you!

We stayed at the Sea Drift Motel in August as a last minute trip. Such a beautiful and well kept motel! Super cute, the swimming pool was awesome, and the owner was super sweet (even let us park in her spot after check out so we could grab a quick brunch! ) Highly recommend!

A quaint little place near the ocean — walking distance to everything! Great and friendly service provided from start to finish — there was even freshly brewed strong coffee available every morning promptly at 7:30. One drawback previously noted in earlier reviews is the train. It should be noted, however, that the train runs the entire length of the beach, and is therefore virtually impossible to avoid at any of the resorts in Old Orchard Beach. The beds at the Sea Drift were so comfortable, though, that it was very easy to sleep through any noise. Family-owned and very well maintained — any minor problems brought to the attention of the Owner were addressed immediately (i. E, broken blind found at start of stay was fixed right away). Must also mention the amazing water pressure! Showers were fabulous and relaxing — essentially a standing massage! The heated saltwater pool was always clean and provided a welcome relief for the seasonally cold ocean water. The cleaning staff were very professional and accommodating (anything that was requested was provided right away). Would highly recommend this hidden gem and plan to return!

Until the Sea Drift I had NEVER stayed at a motel on/close to the beach and found zero sign of sand in the room when I arrived! I would honestly challenge you to find a cleaner room anywhere, because I don't think that you could. It had everything that my family and I were looking for — it was clean, quiet (before we got there anyway, ha), the largest pool that we've seen staying in and around Old Orchard and it was right across from the beach. There were a few added bonuses as well — the rooms without kitchens still had a larger mini fridge, toaster and microwave (plus there are a few gas grills on the side of the hotel that you can use) ; Missy (the owner) was so accommodating, welcoming and helpful; the seating available both right outside the rooms, in the pool area and outside of it was plentiful and comfortable; and the water pressure from the showers is out of this world!

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay while in Old Orchard Beach. The rooms are a good size with a kitchenette, nice balcony view and right across from the beach. The kids love the pool which is very clean. Missy and her staff are all wonderful! We have been coming to Sea Drift for many years and know we will always have a great time while making wonderful memories. Thank you Missy! See you next summer.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS PLACE! You WILL NOT find a CLEANER or FRIENDLIER place to stay! Missy (the owner) is an absolute doll. From her son, to the grounds keeper (Ralphie) to the WONDERFUL housekeeping staff, to Missy's Lovely Mom, to her sweet Sister, Everyone was helpful and very accommodating. They make each guest feel like family from the moment you check in. This is my new FAVORITE PLACE and I will be back again and again. Thank You Missy and Family From one extremely happy guest. This is a great place to stay in old orchard. Great location right across the street from the beach. Rooms are well equipped and beds are comfy, private balcony was awesome. The pool looked nice and clean as did the surrounding area. If there is one drawback it would be that it is a little bit of a walk down to the pier but not too bad, and for some people that is a big positive. We would definitely return!

Oh my goodness! I can't say enough great things about this Motel and its owner, Missy. Great room, great surroundings, beach across the street. All the noise and fan fair close by, but not enough to disturb your vacation. I would highly recommend a stay and will definitely go back.

Great rooms, hostess and place caters to us renters. K Group just left. Missy and her staff were top notch as usual. Group is already looking forward to next year.

We booked here last minute for a quick getaway and were not dissapointed. We got there late and were bumped up tot the kitchenette room from the standard. Room was very clean and fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware and pots and pans. Will definitely be back next year. My only complaint was the bed were not comfortable at all.

I went with my family. Two children and two adults. We had a well-equipped kitchenette. The rooms are very clean. The service is excellent. Missy, the landlady is very nice. There is a nice big heated pool where my kids had a lot of fun. 30 seconds from the beach and 10 minutes from the Pier (on foot) and rides. I would highly recommend this motel.

This is the best place in OOB… Always immaculate. Missy goes above and beyond to make sure that her guests have everything that they need… if you forgot something… just ask she probably has it… won't stay any other place… why would I…

This summer will be my boyfriend's and my third year going for our Anniversary! We absolutely love Missy! She is the nicest women, and the Sea Drift is an amazing place to stay.

Just booked my reservation for this summer. This is a beautiful place and very clean. Me and my wife enjoy the private balcony of the kitchenette room. Access to the beach is just across the street. The side road to the beach is just across the street.

Missy (hotel owner) was an absolute delight. We visited in June of 2016, before the busy season and had a blast. We took our honeymoon here and Missy had left us a note and a bottle of champagne for us with chilled glasses in the fridge. On our final day we were lounging by the pool and Missy came over and offered us an extra night or two if we wanted it, free of charge and undisturbed by housekeeping. She said to drop off the key when we were ready. It was an excellent trip made better by a very thoughtful and personable host. There was a kitchenette with dishes/pots/pans which allowed us to save some money and eat in (or rather bring it down to the beach! )

Love it here. My husband mentioned to Missy that we were coming down to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday and she had a gift waiting for her in our room which made my daughter smile from ear to ear. Very thoughtful and sweet of Missy. We wou5most definitely stay here again and the best part is we have an ocean view from our room.

We had a great experience at Sea Drift. The owner is super nice. Very helpful. The freshly renovated rooms are modern and very clean. Floor wood-francs and choice ceramic tiles. Away from walls and ceilings cardboard of other motels in the corner. Private balcony on the 2nd with passage to the center of the building, making the beach even easier to access. Access to the beach, quiet, by the street just in front. May seem a little away from the Pier, but is 5-minute market of more than are being glued. We had a great experience at the Sea Drift. The owner is super nice. Very comfortable. The newly renovated rooms are modern and very clean. Hardwood and ceramic tiles. No cardboard wall and ceiling like other nearby motels. Private balcony on the 2nd with passage to the center of the building making the beach more accessible. Access to the beach, quiet, by the opposite street. May seem a little far from the Pier, but it is only 5 minute walk longer than those closer to the Pier. Beautiful view from the balcony, located very near the beach (have to cross the street, less than ideal for children) the kitchen is very well! Large fridge, functional stove and microwave. The beds are uncomfortable (double), and lack of mosquito nets made sure one must leave the patio door open without mosquito net or use air conditioning noisy. All in all, a very nice stay.

I have had 3 great experiences with this hotel, once last year during Labor day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, and this past Father's Day weekend. The upstairs rooms are great, with their own patios. The staff and the owner (Missy) were very nice and accommodating. Missy actually gave me the lower room/off season rate for a second floor room with a private patio. Thank you, Missy. Room was clean and spacious. This motel is in a prime location being close to the Pier (15 minute walk), but not too close to be bothered with vehicular and foot traffic. The beach is also right across the street. As an FYI, there are Amtrak and CSX trains that go by the property (but they never bothered me). I highly recommend the Sea Drift to anyone looking to stay at Old Orchard Beach. You won't be disappointed!

Great place I've been going since I was a baby 14 years ago!

We have been coming to Old Orchard Beach, and the Seadrift Motel for eight years. The Pier is within walking distance, and all you have to do is walk across the street to the beach! The place is clean, airy, comfortable and we think of it as our "home away from home! " Missy and her staff are the kindest, friendliest people and we really do feel like family when we are there! A great family place!

This is the place to stay! clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and the owner Missy is a wonderful lady. Great location, only a short walk to everything and right across the street is the ocean :) We love it here and come back every year!
