The staff is extremely friendly! The beach is right in their back yard… and no worries if you foegot your beach chair at home… you can rent them for onky $2. A day! They have grills and picnic tables for cook outs so you don't need to eat out every night. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was relaxing. Within walking distance to the Pier and arcade and such. Free coffee and popcorn… I would recommend The Crest!

Fantastic place to stay! The staff was wonderful! The location was amazing, not only beachfront, but very nice short walk to the pier. We parked the car and never touched it until it was time to go home.

Loved that the crest (beach gardens) was able to accommodate our big family (2 adults, 6 kids). Right across the street from the beach and within walking distance from the shops and palace playland. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well!

I go there every years! And now I feel like I’m going home every time! It’s clean! The personnel is great! They speak French! Paul is the best! It’s on the beach! I love that motel! And I tell you to tried it you will adopt this place for life!

Clean rooms friendly owners never a deception when I stay at the Crest.

We stayed in their Jucuzzi Ocean-View room for our First Wedding Anniversary this past weekend. It was very clean with an old New England ocean town vibe. It's right on the ocean and the beach was never crowded so it was always easy to find a spot. It's in a quiet spot on the beach but is within a few minute walk to the pier, restaurants and shops. Everything was easily accessible. They have bikes that you can use during your stay and have beach chairs that you can rent if you don't have your own. We had a very nice stay there. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because our room was right above the indoor heated pool, so our room always smelled like chlorine, but at least that meant the pool was clean. We would stay again.

The staff is really friendly, they talk french, if you have any question you will be answered + the room was clean when I came the first day so it's very appreciated. It's been 2 years i'm coming at this hotel for my vacation at Old Orchard Beach and it is surely not the last time! I truly like this place.

The front desk staff and other service staff were very professional and friendly. The location right across from the beach is absolutely great. There is a lot of parking available onsite but at times there are no open spots for paying guests. The amenities including the pool and grills are good but in need of an upgrade soon. The biggest issue was that the pool does not have any depth markings or indicators especially when one end is 6 feet or more and little kids involved.

Staying at the Crest Motel is a tradition for our family. They have alway gone over and above to make our time there worry free!

I can't tell you how many years our family have been going to the Crest Motel… I have lost count! We always have a wonderful experience. The owner Paul and his family have become our extended family and go out of their way to make our stay the best possible. Hopefully my teenage boys can bring their families there in the future and continue our summer tradition. P. S. Paule… love the new popcorn machine your boys bought you for your birthday. What a beautiful place! Excellent service! We renew the experience every year!

Was clean and bright in the ocean view room on the second floor. Room did have a somewhat musty smell (maybe from the damp ocean air — — hopefully not mildew). There was basically one working outlet and a powestrip behind the fridge. The walk to the beach was 30 seconds. Few minute walk to town and restaurants. Cute cozy little place with good customer service.

We loved how close to the beach this place is. The staff here was awesome. We will definitely stay here again!

My family stayed at the Crest over Labor Day weekend. This has been the 10th time we have stayed there. Paul and his staff are the best! Very accommodating and friendly.
The hotel is right on the beach and within walking distance of downtown. The rooms are clean, nice pool and hot tub, kids love the play area just in front.
We plan on going back next year!

Friendly staff. Clean beds! Clean hot tub next to the pool that's indoors but can open up to let in fresh air. Nice lil park for the kid with grills you can use. Located within a ten minute walk of everything!

Last minute stay. Paul was very helpful and even let us leave the car there and use all of the amenities after checkout. Wonderful place to stay. Back again first week of Aug. 17' As great as ever. Will not need to look for any other accomodations.

It a fun and beautiful place to take your family to. People how own it are very nice and helpful I will keep going to the crest motel in old orchard Beach in Maine. I have been to the crest for 4 years' now. Love it.

My wife and her family have been coming yearly for more then a decade. Very close to the pier.

Stayed in 442/443. Very spacious and clean. Though we stayed in May it was cold and 442 didn't have an AC unit with heat. However the staff was as accommodating as they could be and offered to have us switch. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

We got home yesterday with our two younger boys and a family friend from some time at OOB and the Crest. Just wanted to send out a big shout out and thanks to Paul, his wife and boys. They are warm. Friendly gracious people who sincerely care about their guests.
The indoor outdoor pool was ten feet from
our room and the ocean is directly behind the motel. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Also, on the last day when we discovered our car battery was dead, Paul and his sons stepped right up and jumped us not once but twice! I would highly recommend this motel to all my family and friends. It was wonderful!

The Crest Motel is located within a short walk of all the fun there is to be had in Old Orchard Beach. The Crest Motel is located right on the water and if the beach isn't your thing (then you are probably in the wrong town) you can always utilize the indoor pool and hottub. Although, you must be kid friendly, as the pool was being utilized by quite a few children during our stay. The room was very clean — I was really impressed with the cleanliness! The bed was a very soft in my opinion, but nothing I couldn't handle for the one night stay we were there for. All in all, the Crest Motel did the job and then some with the added amenities (indoor pool, playground for the kids). I would recommend it as a great family friendly motel close to all the action.

We love staying at the Crest! The owners are so nice and very helpful. At the Crest you have it all; beach just down the walk, pool, hot tub, grills, play area for the children, free popcorn in the office AND walking distance to the Pier!

I went there on vacation and it is a good motel. The hot tub water is perfect temperature for me. The pool is medium size. The rooms are kinda small but other than that it is a very good motel to go for the summer. It is also next to the beach so it would be easy to walk there and have fun with your kids or spend the time there by yourself.

It's everything you could ask for for the price. I was in one of the two buildings separate from the main complex and found the room to be very well laid out. We had a full size fridge, 4 burner stove top and oven, microwave, toaster oven, and sink. The kitchen also had ample cabinet storage for those looking to reduce the cost of a stay away by cooking their own meals. Both bedrooms were basic but well stocked with night table and an ac unit in each room. The bathroom (and the whole unit) was clean. The bathroom didn't have much to hang drying towels off, but was otherwise great. We were able to bring both of our dogs and didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to do so. It was a great jumping off place to enjoy all that Portland, ME has to offer as well as the beach right out the door. It also isn't far from other attractions if you're looking for stuff to do further away on a long stay. Overall we had an excellent experience getting a few days away enjoying the late summer atmosphere and Portland's many seafood venues. If you get the chance hit the waterfront district in Portland and the pier area right down the street in Old Orchard Beach.

I absolutely LOVE it here. My family goes every year. Friendly and family owned. Right near everything. Walk 10 feet off of the parking lot and you're ON the beach. Best place ever.
