I was unable to pay with cash. No signage anywhere in the lobby, nothing. Very disappointed. Cash is still legal tender.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. The front desk person (Megan) was the rudest, most condescending person I’ve ever met. I will NEVER stay here. The Hilton down the street has MUCH friendlier staff and beautiful amenities. (Cheaper too! )

Nice large clean rooms. Beautiful fireplace in the lobby. Great place to stay.

Suggestion… we hang out in the lobby for a little breakfast, two TV's going volume up a bit high, each on a different channel and lobby music playing. Just a bunch of mumble jumble noise, very annoying… Otherwise it's all good.

Was an enjoyable stay clean rooms comfortable beds, nice pool small but kids had ball. Great breakfast love the 24 hr coffee station. Will definitely come back and stay again.

It seemed like our room was not cleaned property, especially the bathroom. The floor had not been mopped and there was a used bar of soap was on the soap dish in the shower. The phone cord was not plugged into the phone and was strung out on the floor between beds. The beds were clean but one of them were short sheeted. That was hard to believe.

Convenient location close to the Old Mystic Village. Plenty of free on-site parking Rooms are large and spacious, but the room cleaning service leaves something to be desired. Some of the complimentary toiletries appeared to have already been used upon arriving, hand towels were not restocked during my stay, and the room had an unpleasant musty and smoky smell after room service had been in.

The hotel actually is in a very great location. It is clean and has nice amenities. My only concern is they were short staffed when we were there and many breakfast amenities like the pancake maker and the juice dispenser re all out of order. But the rooms are very nice and spacious and comfy.

We usually visit Mystic every December (for the past 10 years) but took an impromptu overnight this Summer. This was our first time at the Holiday Inn, but can definitely see us returning. Clean, friendly staff, good location.

Had a good 4-night stay here. Room was great, location was perfect, and the cinnamin rolls do really melt in your mouth like they say. We were in the pool and hot tub every night, my 3 year old loved it. I can't think of anything at all to complain about. Oh… The sheet and comforter set-up. I don't quite understand why the room attendants make the bed so that the comforter only reaches like halfway up the bed. Not a big deal, I just un-tucked it but I didn't quite understand why it was made like that. Manager and staff we're very accommodating. Had a great time.

Clean, spacious, and family friendly. It's also just a five minute walk to the aquarium. We read a lot of nice reviews about this place before booking, but we're surprised that it still exceeded our expectations.

The beds were really comfy, and the renovations are nice. Everything was clean and fresh looking. The custodial staff was definitely lacking. No one came to clean my room until about 2, when I had just gotten back to give my toddler a nap. They never even stopped to try to clean my mother-in-law's room, and we found her door open when we got back. I would stay there again but I would not expect my room to be cleaned.

Recently remodeled hotel. Comfortable bed and nice pillows. Our king bed room was HUGE and even included a sofa bed in the couch. Was pleasantly surprised to have microwave and keurig, not just a mini fridge. Was nice to heat up our pie for dessert in the microwave Pool is square shaped and jacuzzi was just enough to relax Stephan at front desk was attentive and helpful.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Clean, Quiet (when I was there), modern design, decent breakfast. The entire building was gorgeous. My husband and I had 3 kids with us, at 9:30-10 they wanted to go bed but my husband wanted to watch a basketball game. The attendant in the lobby put the game on for him down there in the breakfast area and treated us as if we were his own friends. I would absolutely stay here again. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Incredible service, staff, cleanliness, accommodations etc. They were renovating the hotel. When I got to my room I was very impressed with the room, the Decor and the comfort of the bed as well as the cleanliness and furniture. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. And in the morning we enjoyed the great breakfast choices. Excellent! Thank you for everything! ❤️

We stayed at the hotel for the Mystic Half and 10k race. The hotel is right across the street from the start and finish if the race. The hotel itself is being renovated and is nice. The double bed room we rented was quite large and fits 4 adults comfortably. The breakfast wasnt very good but overall the hotel was nice. We would stay there again.

The employees were very friendly and helpful, especially the guy that checked us in. Despite ongoing renovations, the hotel was clean and updated. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room and it was spacious. The noise level wasn't great as there was a large gap between the door and the floor, letting in a lot of hallway noise, especially near the elevator. However, a towel under the door was an easy enough fix and I slept very well. It did not affect my stay. Also, the hotel was close to some major area attractions. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great experience at this hotel. Went for Spring break to visit Mystic aquarium. Hotel is ideally located for our trip, within walking distance to the aquarium and other local tourist spots. Check in was smooth. Friendly efficient staff from front desk to housekeeping. Room was better than expected, roomy comfortable and clean. Indoor pool while on the smaller side was clean and great for kids. The FREE breakfast was great, with a variety of foods some of which changed daily. The breakfast area while under remodel was still convenient and looks to be nice when finished. We plan to return in the near future.

Really nice hotel. When I stayed here It was so relaxing. I loved the pool! It was the perfect temperature. I have stayed here 4 times in the past and can't wait to go back.

We paid extra to book a king size room at this hotel, arrived early and we were told the only room available was with 2 queen beds. We were lied to and told the reservation didn’t come through as a king size bed, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION CLEARLY STATING KING SIZE BED. We weren’t happy but accepted the room as we did need a place to sleep for the night. The room was not cleaned properly, we both have light hair and there were several strands of dark hair on the walls in the shower before we even used it. When contacting the hotel and corporate about how poorly this entire situation was handled we were given an “apology” and told “we hope to see you in the future”! Never again!

Me and my husband and two kids stayed at this hotel the staff was so nice and polite and helpful the rooms are clean it was kid friendly the breakfast was amazing I would recommend to anyone to stay there. We will definitely be back soon.

Our room was beautifully renovated and clean. Our bed was so comfortable. The kids loved the pool… mommy loved the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious. Close to the Aquarium and local eateries. Only downfall was on our lastnight stay there was a snow storm and we had no Direct TV all night. The front desk said it was the entire hotel. But all in all we had an enjoyable stay and we'll definitely be staying here again.

Room was very nice. Breakfast was good one day and reasonable the next. Within 15-20 minutes of multiple towns to visit. Nice place to stay.

Third time we've stayed here. They did a great job recently renovating the rooms, the location is great, and the breakfast is scrumptious. Only criticism is that the pool and hot tub seemed to be really heavy on the chlorine… but I suppose that's par for the course at hotel pools.

I usually travel with 2 toddlers and can be particular about where we stay and this hotel impressed me. Key points are below. — Spacious standard room that can easily fit a double stroller and crib. — Complimentary crib was delivered fully assembled with all padding in place. — Our standard room comes with mini fridge, microwave and Keurig Coffee machine. — Large 1080p TV with good channel selections mounted on a pull out swivel arm. So, you can see the TV at any corner of the room. — Free breakfast has above average quality. The sausage gravy was tasty. — the hotel is located within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

Wonderful place to stay. Convenient to walk to village and restaurants. Great breakfast included and jacuzzi and pool are nice.

Was a very convenient place to stay. Right in the middle of everything. The aquarium is just right up the road. The seaport is a few miles the other way. Plenty of restaurants and a shopping village right across the street. Room was very large and clean. Staff was very helpful.

We had booked at a different hotel and the place was awful so I came here looking for a room at 7pm on a Friday night. The woman at the front desk was unbelievably nice (I wish I got her name as she totally saved my family's vacation)! The hotel is super clean and staff is super friendly. The rooms are updated and really nice! The pool and hot tub are great. And, you can't beat free breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is almost fully renovated. Our room was brand new and updated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a plus with a decent selection of cereal, eggs, fresh pancakes and coffee. I'd definitely stay again!

Great deal on a short notice, room was brand new, power window shades and we had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Staff was helpful and always available if we needed then. Very easy to get to and near everything.

It was very clean. The breakfast was amazing! They had healthy options (egg white omelet with Veggie was super delicious) as well as indulgent ones (sausage gravy and biscuits yum! ) And gluten free options! The room was incredibly spacious and modern. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great stay! All the staff was very friendly and courteous. We stayed with a wedding party and the hotel was very accommodating. My only complaint was that the pools are really small. We thought about swimming but changed our minds because even with one family in the pool, it was already pretty cramped in there. Oh, and the elevators are super slow so we took the stairs often haha. But exercise is good! Otherwise our stay was terrific. We loved our room. Great service.

Room was nice. The girl at the front desk (weekend staff) was very rude and condescending to my wife and then to me on two separate occasions. Work on the hotel is still going on and was never told to us while booking our stay. Stair wells are about 120 degrees. Breakfast was adequate nothing spectacular. Gym opened up the day before we checked and is nice.

Even with the construction going on outside, we couldn't have had a better experience. Their quirky, yet amusing jokes and accomodations for literally everything you could think of at a hotel were just a couple of the highlights of our stay. Great free breakfast spread with instant pancake machine and all the fixins, and a warm pool and relaxing hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend, and definitely book directly through the hotel for the best rate!

Close to local shopping. Rooms were reasonable. Rooms were clean. Free breakfast in the morning was a perk. Hotel is now going through renovations.

We stayed for 1night and had a nice experience. The room was clean and larger than expected. At check in our room wasn't ready she apologized and moved us to a room that was ready. The breakfast area was tight but offered a wide variety of foods.

You get what you pay for, good was new clean rooms. Not so good was hot tub and pool are seen from all guests from back yard to the front entrance and desk, no privacy. Room was not ready after asking three times, at 4pm we lost our pacience. Only after the raised our voice did they come up with a room. Over all ok.

Currently here now and absolutely loving it. Super clean. Comfortable bed and pillows jacuzzi in the room is really nice. Definitely come and stay. Price is decent for all the amenities. :)
