In town for a funeral and this place was close to the church. If I could give 0 stars I would! Beware! This hotel advertises one price but then after you hand over your credit card they add “fees” and taxes. $36 in taxes and fees on a $68 room. I tried to cancel my room and they would not refund my money. When we arrived the owner was rude and wanted to charge extra for an extra person in a room with two beds. He also insisted on a card for “incidentals”. All that said the room was not worth that price. It was not clean, one of our rooms did not have a shower curtain and the refrigerator didn’t work. Overall a bad choice!

The smell in this room. It knocked us down when we opened the door. I went to see if we could change rooms when he told me that it was the room spray they use. He goes to show me the bottle and it is an industrial size bottle with a sticker that says “cool water”. Yep. That’s it. It smelt like a teenage house party with axe spray and cheap colognes. It was too late to relocate and not to our surprise, but we all woke up with headaches and one actually throwing up. It was very clean otherwise and he was very nice, but if smells bother you…skip this hotel. We had the door open every possible second we could with a/c on high trying to get a bit of relief, didn’t help. Again, a nice hotel if you aren’t bothered by big smells.
