Got in late, skeptical about hotel, but very surprised with everything. Large, clean rooms, great parking, comfortable bed and people were nice and friendly, all for a very affordable rate. Highly recommend this motel. Shower head isn’t bad. Had a pool. AC is a tad lacking. I guess the restaurant next door is owned by the same folks. Motel has Wi-Fi… shared with restaurant next door. Kinda slow.

The place was recently renovated, clean, good service, and reasonably priced. Recommend it for those travelers passing through and need a place to stop. Gave discount coupons for food at the restaurant across the street — very convenient. The mattress was just what I needed after driving all day.

Happy with the improvements that have been made since Travelodge took over the property. Nice staff. Not a large variety of items in the provided breakfast but they also provided coupons for discounts at the restaurant across the street.

The front staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was great when we entered. No tub, and a pedestal sink in the bathroom. The shower was tiled nicely. Problem is no place to set cosmetics abd clean clothes down on when showering except the toilet seat. The toilet was braced about 3" away from the wall. There was no handicap parking spots near our room, but may be true for most of Nevada. The restaurant in the casino reeked of smoke. Food was preprocesed but OK. Don't know if I would stop here again.

I'm not sure if the photos are accurate but the room looks the same. We made a reservation late into the night and they turned the heater on so we would have a warm room! It is kind of run down but is taken care of and cleaned so well that you overlook all the little cracks and dings to have a pretty good stay. Small free breakfast but coupons to breakfast at the casino across the street and free water bottles.

The rooms have been remodeled, nice comfortable rooms, continental breakfast. Plenty of hot water. Nice upgrade from before. Casino across from motel with a restaurant, service and food okay. Good place to stay on the way to Las Vegas.

Breakfast is cereal and oatmeal if your fortunate enough to grab some before it is all gone. Rooms are very dated. Room was freezing upon arrival. I am guessing they left it warm enough only to stave off frozen water pipes.

Wonderful. I have learned now, to look at reviews before I even go into a place. The reviews all looked good so I rented a room. Very nice, big room, very clean. Excellent price Very helpful front desk. I will make this my motel of choice whenever I am in Hawthorne from now on.

Was very surprised to see that it was a very nice room. Extremely clean and well kept. Probably the nicest travelodge I’ve ever stayed at. Who would have guessed it would be up in Hawthorne Nevada.

I was not if I was going to like it. When we opened the door and saw how large the room was. I was happy. Very clean and nice. The room has all you would need. We are very happy.

This is a pretty nice property with clean rooms. Beds are comfortable, hot shower, 40 inch lcd TV in our double queen room, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was ok but nothing hot just instant oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, bread and muffins.

This hotel surprised me in a good way. The room was very well kept, it seems to be well maintained, no cleanliness problems, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom is simply massive. The only complaints I have are that the Wi-Fi was iffy and the continental breakfast is very limited. For the price though, I expected much worse.

The room was clean and the employees very polite. However I had a room in the back of the building and had a frightening encounter with a homeless person. Thank God I had my dog with me, and he deterred the person from advancing on me. When I called the front desk and asked if they had a security person they did not. She did say they had never had a problem like that before and she would inform management.

Nice place, I would stay here again. Staff is nice, rooms are great. The price is good.

Who wants to see a city and people, which in the 80s-90s is exactly right here. For that the accommodation can do nothing but it was noisy, outdated, gray and dreary and the staff also not friendly.

Really comfy beds, soft pillows, clean updated room, huge bathroom with full length mirror and hanging closet. Great price and value. Didn't try the pool but it looked nice. Free breakfast could use more fruit, no yogurt. Couple of restaurants within walking distance.

All good. Except screaming kid at breakfast to NO FAULT of motel of course. And a dead bug in bathroom. BUT I really liked it here. Highly recommend. And would come back! Beds are super comfy. Pillows super comfy. And grounds are neat clean like they care about appearance and your peace of mind for staying with them.

Welcome surprise in an otherwise dead town. It dosent look like all that much from outside, but inside the rooms are huge, comfortable and clean! Recommended! Not much is open in the surrounding area however. Pack accordingly.

Rooms were decent as well as the rates. I enjoyed my stay and breakfast in the morning, some of the rooms are smoking rooms which I did not enjoy. There is a large parking lot if you have a trailer and two different sides of the hotel. If you walk across the street there is a restaurant and Casino where you get a discount for staying at the Travelodge.

Absolutely amazing. Was sceptical at first because of the location being a little drive thru town but we where so tired that we had to get a room. The price was GREAT but the room was amazing. The beds had 4 very comfortable pillows, a clean, lightweight down alternative comforter, and the bed itself was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was extra large almost as big as some in an apartment. Very, very clean and quite. The office for breakfast has tables to sit at and enjoy the mini continental breakfast. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! FYI this did not pull up on most sites but across street from El Captain casino.

Waitresses ignored me when I was trying to order food to go. The price for the food was way too expensive and it was terrible food.

Good hotel, awesome service, but it's Hawthorne, NV. I suppose it's probably the best you can get for the small town. Didn't get 5 stars, just because of the age of the place. Things were run down and worn out. They do provide military discount here.

It's not an impressive place, casino or restaurant. Both are outdated and gloomy. I don't care much for the food usually. There aren't many options in Hawthorne so this place does a good business but I doubt they would if there were other options.

Morning restaurant crew is great. New management is downsizing portions and raising prices tho. : (

We pulled in at midnight. They were very accommodating. The entire motel is going through a renovation and they gave us a finished room. New beds and new showers and furniture. So I was really happy at only spending around $55 for a nice place. I don't know if they had continental breakfast because we slept in late and finally left at around 11 am (checkout time).

Rooms were clean, newly remodeled. The staff was very friendly. The staff told us the hotel was going to change to Days Inn. At the casino we had the absolute best blueberry pancakes ever. We always stay at ElCapitan Lodge & Casino on our way to Lake Tahoe. Overall it was a very good experience.

Typical casino in a small town. Lots is cigarette smoke and mediocre food. Prices were good though.

Clean rooms, comfy beds. Construction noise.

A nice quiet place to relax with friendly locals and play. Friendly staff are always willing to assist. Food service does a decent job.

Room wise, this is very much a "get what you pay for" hotel. Wouldn't complain you get so little or not great condition when you pay so little for a hotel in a somewhat remote town. I had a poor experience with customer service at this hotel, unfortunately. We stayed one night and I was charged for two nights. The story was, I dropped my key in the key drop in the morning, but for some reason they didn't find it til the next morning and hotel staff claimed they saw items in our room after checkout. After failing to dispute with my bank and credit card, I resorted to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This caused a lot of stress. : ( I did eventually get refunded for the second night, which I was thrilled about! (Took about 6-7 weeks, though) Play it safe when you checkout; make sure you check out directly to hotel staff rather than using the key drop!

Stayed here before it wasn't bad… But this rooms so effing disgusting my socks turned black from walking in room and I'm getting eatin alive by mesquitoes somehow this room reeks of mildew musty yuk smell. Tv is a 1990s 13 inch grrr I should leave n go sleep in my truck.

This was the most nasty dirty hotel ever if you want cock roaches then stay here. And the pool was full of water and out of order. And we found out after my husband paid for the newer remolded room which cost more. And my husband said we wanted to stay on the poolside so pretty lame. So dont waste your time here. Keep on going. Do your self a favor.
