This was a great find! A great find close to the Quarter, and many more attractions! We’ve stayed here twice already and will always come back! Rooms are big and clean the staff is outstanding! Genuinely sweet and caring wanting their guests to have a great time and experience! Thank you for all you do!

Friendly staff, clean rooms.

Stayed here the night before my infant sons surgery at CHNOLA. Room was spacious and very clean. It is in a great location. We felt safe here with security constantly patrolling. Parking was easy and we saw the security officer checking the parking lot on multiple occasions.

Just returned home from an overnight stay at the Alder. My son was having surgery at the Children’s hospital. The Alder offers a special medical rate for families of the patients. We arrived in town the day before surgery for his pre-op appointment. Check in time was at 4pm. They allowed us to check in a few hours early. The staff was extremely courteous. The hotel was clean, well kept and nicely decorated. My children enjoyed the swimming pool and looking out over the city from the balcony. Convenient parking across the street from the hotel. The breakfast bar was not the best. Mainly pastries, waffles, oatmeal and dry cereal. Overall, I was well pleased with my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The BEST hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were so thoughtfully appointed, the decor was brilliant, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Very laid back, gorgeous pool and deck which the staff let me use late into the night beyond posted hours. Can't wait to go back!

Alder hotel is very new and clean. Convenient location in uptown of New Orleans in walking distance from Freret street where you can find variety of restaurants and cafes. Has a swimming pool. Very nice free continental breakfast. All staff was very friendly and nice too. Also free parking is a big plus. Recommend it.

Best hotel by far! Stayed for four days when visiting New Orleans for the first time and loved it so much. I landed around 8:30 in the morning and normally hotels won’t allow you to check in that early but I was exhausted and thought I would ask anyway. They had my room ready for me when I arrived and breakfast was also still being served which was a wonderful first impression! The room was beautiful. It was modern and new but had an old school twist. The whole look of the hotel is gorgeous and the staff was friendly and super helpful. It is also in walking distance to some awesome shops and restaurants which made things easy and fun. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when visiting the city.

Our stay at Alder Hotel was great. We usually stay near the French Quarter and this was a nice change. It’s tucked in a quiet Uptown neighborhood, the rooms were clean, nicely appointed, and had the best bathroom lighting! The staff were all super friendly too. There are some nice restaurants a short walk away on Freret Street. French Quarter is a short drive away.

I had a wonderful experience at the Alder Hotel this past week. There’s free parking, a nice pool, and there are bars and restaurants within walking distance. My only complaints would be the water leakage from using the shower and the lack of options during breakfast. With that being said, one could easily place a towel on the bathroom floor to soak up the water. Simple fix! This hotel was clean and every staff member I interacted with was lovely!
