Review of Holiday Inn Baton Rouge College Drive I-10, an IHG Hotel 3*

I’m sure we have all heard the news stories of hotels that don’t change the sheets or clean the rooms properly. After a long day of traveling we arrived and had to wait about 10 minutes for the front desk clerk to come back. There was a sign that they were off assisting another guest. Ok I get that… someone came off the elevator with a luggage cart and made a bunch of noise and a minute later the clerk comes from the back rubbing her eyes and carrying a cup of juice. We get checked in to this location. Get to our room the toilet had urine in it. Then we climb in the bed and there is dirty socks and tissue at the foot of the bed. (Under the covers! ) I called down to The front desk person tell her what happens and her was when did I just check in. I replied with 5 minutes ago and gave her my name and she said ok well the room was cleaned the computer tells me it was… HELLO! Dirty socks and tissues made up in the bed and urine in the toilet tells me otherwise. I’m very disappointed in this Holiday inn! Went down to get keys to a new room and she had a line of about 5 guests and calls my name out loud and very loudly gives me my room number in front of everyone. My wife was traveling alone with my daughter that had just had surgery. We go into the second room and those sheets had hair on them and body marks. We informed the front desk and her response after we left the hotel was offering me extra points or a discount I told her We don’t want anything free just clean your rooms… I contacted the general manager and contacted corporate for holiday inn and have not gotten any calls back. I have photos and am happy to send them to the hotel to see if someone will contact us back.
