Extremely clean rooms, very nice hotel with friendly staff. Nice experience.

I stayed at Heritage for the first time this week. The hotel is GORGEOUS first off, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you’re down in SW Louisiana!

It's a pretty good place to stay in DeQuincy. Not a lot for kids — no pool or playground — but if that's not a factor, try it. Breakfast is a bit skimpy, but no worse than continental breakfasts at other hotels.

Update: we are changing our glowing review. Our second night people were banging on our window at 230am for almost 30 minutes. Woke my toddlers and me up. Tried calling the hotel. Apparently the desk closes at 11pm. We almost had to call the police. Finally woke my husband up and he went outside. It was 2 drunk girls locked out. Needless to say no one slept well after. There's only a handful of people staying here. It's a shame because the hotel is new and clean. The walls are also very thin. Can hear the doors slamming. The doors on the sides of building makes it easy to access your room but they only open at night. Otherwise they lock you out.

I would have rated this hotel a 4 but there were some issues with the management and billing. First off the property is nice, the rooms are clean and new. The only thing is they have coffee makers in the room and these tiny little dixie cups to rinse your mouth in, no paper or styrofoam cups for coffee? I don't get it. The second thing is my email from the hotel stated I could check in as early as 7am, not true once I arrived in DeQuincy at 1pm we came in and were told nope your room is not ready check in time is 3:00pm, okay no biggie. But what really set me off is they double billed my room the next business day. I called the hotel directly and immediately the woman was saying Well my manager says it will drop in a few days, Wait what? You haven't even asked who I am or anything. So finally the manager Brooke got on the phone and blames Expedia for double billing, but wait when I checked we handed our card so don't tell me you don't do any billing. I called Expedia was on hold for about 10 minutes because they also called the hotel, and spoke to Brooke who assured them there was a mixup with MY BANK? That she would call me back once she called MY BANK? Phone call never came from her and Expedia also said it was the hotels fault. My issue is when someone makes an error with your $$, take responsibility apologize for the inconvenience AND FIX IT! Don't blame me, don't blame a 3rd party who's not involved. I found the manager to be unprofessional and dismissive.

The hotel itself was nice and the rooms were comfortable but that was as it. Everything else about our stay was horrible. It was ridiculously loud. When I checked in they said they were full and had to give me a sweet which was much more expensive. They were NOT full, and when I left the next morning at 6 a. M. There was only three cars in the parking lot. We only stayed at this hotel because we were rerouted off of Interstate 10 it was late and we were tired. We were only at this hotel for about 12 hours. However they charged us for two nights. I called several times to the hotel manager Brooke I was told by several different staff members that it was taken care of and my money would be refunded. After a week of this I called my bank to file a complaint, and low and behold they figure it out they had given me a hotel credit instead of refunding my credit card. And my money was finally refunded about 10 minutes after my bank had to call them. Got the feeling this has happened there before.

This is the nicest, cleanest and friendliest hotel in which I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I have stayed here there or four times and consistently stands head and shoulders above the competition. A big thank you to all the staff there. Great job!

Beautiful hotel with an accommodating & friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and the location was great.

The room was very nice and clean and the associates were very friendly and helpful. Kenya, the desk clerk was very professional and even personally called me to ensure that we would be able to get into our room after hours. The morning clerk (I forgot his name) made us a fresh pot of coffee and refilled the breakfast bar for us. Great stay.

They have treated us so friendly and kind making sure we have everything. So when you need a Clean, Friendly and kind Hotel this is were you need to stay. If your in Dequincy… this is the beat of three xhoices in the town… don't waste time anywhere else.

Awesome place to stay! The entire Hotel staff were pleasant, nice & very helpful. The room was immaculately clean & the bed was extremely comfortable. And the cherry on top was the continental breakfast — — food was delicious & it wasn't just cold cereal or sweet rolls. There were hot items to chose from as well. Will definitely stay there again when I visit my hometown!

DeQuincy, La. Is my hometown. We have stayed at this hotel twice. When my Dad died and then my brother. We were so happy to have a nice and clean hotel to stay. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The staff was so helpful and treated us wonderfully. I recommend anyone to stay here. You will not reget it. So proud my town has this hotel. It was so needed.

Newer hotel and in excellent condition. The staff was polite, the breakfast was the usual stuff, the rooms were clean and in good repair. Only negative, and its a small one, was the bellhop cart needs air in the tires. Would definitely stay here again.

We are displaced from the tornado, have been here for 6 days, couldn't have ask for better treatment, clean, comfortable and staff is awesome. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

The wife and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The hotel looks brand new. Our room was spotless and came with a big screen TV. The staff was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay here again the next time we're in DeQuincy.
