The person at the desk was nice. But the room was not. There were splatters of some type of food all over the wall right by the bed. The bathtub drain was clogged up and would not drain water while taking a shower. The fridge had rust all over it and the freezer didn't work. The couch was stained and the room smelled very bad. Over all very very dirty. It looked like no one cared about the up keep of this place.

Beds are hard, shower had problems, had water leak, and roaches, stuff was very nice as can be. A/c was not cooling good.

The best and most kind worker here is Joy she makes u feel like home and she is the best employee that motel 6 has the manager Joyce is horrible mean and rude the rooms are beautiful it is not a bad place at all.

The front desk staff was great! We were exhausted from a long travel. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very nice. The room was not only clean, but much nicer than I expected.

The location was quiet but there were dirty towels no ice bucket spreads were dirty with holes and the shower did not work.

It was a good price and a fairly nice room but the floor needed to be mopped. The floor looked clean but when I walked around my socks got very dirty. The shower was very hard to turn on and I had to take a bath one night because I couldn’t get the shower head to turn on. The hotel called my room to ask me why I hadn’t checked out yet even though check out was officially 11:00am.

Had a smoke alarm that would not stop beeping. Called front desk and was told someone would come fix it. They never did…

Formerly Lake Houmas Inn. Now Motel 6 on business US 90, Louisiana 182. They have cleaned it up quite a bit looks like a pretty good place for contractors to be. There is a restaurant out front and convenience stores nearby. Not the best place but not the worst by far.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you're looking for privacy, this is a good place to be.

Rooms are big with a full sized fridge, TV, bathroom area. Facilities are pretty clean my only complaint was some of the towels were stained.

They were friendly. It wasn't the nicest place I've stayed but they had a full size refrigerator and nice TV and a microwave. Fairly clean. The pillows are terrible and small. But all in all it wasn't to bad.

Service was good, but no one really went above and beyond what was expected. Rooms were disgusting. There were bugs all over the floor when I walked in, and there were also bugs on the bed. I decided not to stay over night because of this, but didn't bother to make a fuss about getting my money back. I realize it is a cheaper room than most, but I at least expect the room to be clean at the least.

Staff was nice and very friendly and the room was surprisingly nice with a big comfortable bed, a nice couch, and in room fridge with microwave. That said, the MUSTY smell of the room was horrible. Clearly this location has either previously flooded or got really wet inside the walls. The cement stairs leading up to the second floor are in poor condition and the outside of the motel is also in fair condition and not very inviting. As I said, the room I was in was remodeled nicely and the staff person was very nice. However because of the musty smell being so bad, I would not recco staying at this location and I will not be going back to this particular M6. They need serious dehumidifiers in these rooms as the air conditioner cannot keep up with the humidity in these rooms.

It was a nice stay. Real quiet and comfortable. April works at the front desk, shes the sweetest.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. I had an emergency situation during my stay that a front desk clerk, April, assisted me with. I was experiencing a cardiac episode and due to my pain & confusion I was only able to dial the front desk. April didn't just answer the phone, she came to my room while on the phone with 911 and relayed to them my condition because I was unable to. April did this and comforted me until the ambulance arrived. She is a generous and kind person who I am grateful to have met. April's presence helped to calm me during a very frightening experience. She is definitely a great asset. Her compassion is unparalleled.

My husband & I were in Houma for professional school & licensing. We made a long weekend of it. We always go to Motel 6 because of their generous pet policy. We have cats & kennels here have really bad issues so my husband will not leave them at home. This Motel 6 was an older hotel, but well kept. Everything seemed fresh. The staff was cordial & attentive. Our parking situation was perfect. We & the cats had a perfect long weekend. We will definitely stay here again. And recommend to a friend. Price was also a good deal.

Room was clean, had a full size refrigerator and a couch along with desk. All time, no carpet which was nice. Heater worked. Musty smell was over powering but got used to it. Shower was good, bottom of tub needed to be resurfaced. All in all very comfortable and safe. No loud people, check in staff was great and suggested food places.

I stayed at Lake Houmas Inn for a month and enjoyed the stay. The service was prompt and greeted with a smile. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Rooms cleaned each day. Quiet location. The full size refrigerators are a plus when staying for an extended time. Rooms are newly renovated. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants an away from home feel. The air conditioning works great, never a muggy nights sleep. I cant say enough about my stay here… sad that I have to depart for another location, I could stay here for ages. Not only is the hotel travel friendly, the staff and owner are great!

New Rooms — Friendly Staff! Our experience at Lake Houmas Inn was great. I stayed here about year ago, on my this visit when I walked in to the room, I was amazed how they redone this room. Then I came to know that this place was UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Clean rooms with nice comfortable beds, they have nice little love seat sofa to relax and watch TV. Also it's really safe and family orientated. I wish they had pool. Friendly staff that makes feel like you at home.

The owner and his very friendly and helpful staff at the lake houmas inn made our visit a very pleasant experience. The newly renovated rooms are definitely made the decision alot easier. The full size fridge is also very helpful especially for guests with kids that eat plenty of food. All of the staff members at the front office are very friendly and helpful. Also the house keeping is also accommodating to the guest daily. They also have a laundry area available for guest use. In comparison to other motels in the local area for your convenience, I can definitely say without any problems r doubt in mind that lake houmas inn is by far the best decision and reasonably priced those interested in a comfortable stay without paying an arm and a leg to feel at home for a nights sleep.

Newly renovated rooms. Comfortable beds, hot shower in morning, flat screen TV and High speed Internet. Coffee was hot and taste wonderful. Friendly staff, makes you feel like you at home. Great location close to almost everything you need. Reasonable rates. Definitely would stay here again if i'm back here working in this area.

Our experience was Great at Lake Houma Inn. We were there for several months for work and everyone had wonderful hospitality. Vishal the owner was very accommodating to our needs. Also the front dest clerk was amazing, and I cant leave Mrs Darla, the maid out she was always there to help with whatever we needed! Love how they have worked so hard to fix the place up. Definitely would come back if we are in this area again. :).
