My wife and I just finished our stay this morning. We booked a room for our anniversary and to have a nice get away near the lake. This stay was perfect! The rooms were clean and orderly. The lake is a 30 second walk from the furthest cottage. The staff (owners? ) are incredibly nice! Didn't mind a little chit chat and we're down to earth people. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously and have decided this is going to be something we do every year going forward. May try to sneak back over the summer, but we will surely see you again in spring next year. 5 out of 5.100% recommend. :)

I was just looking up accommodations for 2021 and realized I never reviewed our stay in 2020! Had a blast this past July 2020 at Ozark Village Resort and Marina! Connie was very accommodating to us during our stay. And was so helpful and friendly! My daughter and her friend had so much fun on the wave runners! The cabins had everything we needed plus some! Will definitely head back in 2021 for another needed get away! Such a great place!

Highly recommend for a family friendly fun relaxing getaway. The cabins are clean, well stocked with the necessities, and close to the BBQ grills, playground, pool and lake. The staff is very polite, helpful,, and friendly. Made our family vacation a very nice and pleasant time.

One of the most peaceful family friendly places we’ve ever been too! The Manager is one of the most hospitable people we’ve ever met! We will definitely be back! Great rooms, great for all ages, water trikes, paddle boats, jest skis, water trampoline, lake, fire pit, grill, everything you need to just getaway from your everyday life and just relax! We loved our cozy little cabin. Everything was clean and new. Great amenities. The kids loved hanging out in the clubhouse as the weather was not perfect. Tons of water activities — trampoline, water bike, jet skis, pontoons, kayaks etc. We had a blast. We’d love to come back someday. Connie was awesome too — very accommodating! ☺️

Nice cozy resortat the lake, clean cabin, great swimming pool and a little beach, lots of seating in a lovely garden, a clubhouse, boat rental, friendly staff… wow, I enjoyed this so much!

This is definitely a must go to place. The pool was immaculate. There is so much to do just right there including relaxing. The cabins are very quaint and clean.

We loved it here. Very family friendly. Cabins are clean. A lot to keep kids entertained. Hopefully will be back next year!

Perfect spot for our family and we will be back. Everything you need to enjoy a little get away is right there! Pet friendly. Majority of cabins overlook the lake and pool area. There's tons of shaded areas to relax under. Plenty of seating, a firepit, grills and so much more.

We stayed over the weekend of Shootout. We love this place. Very kid friendly. The room is super clean and the outside surrounding area is well maintained. We will definitely come back.

My Family and I were here this past weekend for the first time. Very nice cabins, well cleaned and maintained looks brand new! Manager introduced herself minutes after arriving. She was extremely generous and helpful! Checked on us later to make sure everything was going well. This place is perfect for reunions, romantic getaways, parties, and there is something to do for all ages! There’s a playground, sand beach to the lake, swimming pool, bbq grills, many picnic tables, yard games, boat & watercraft rentals, boat ramp, dock, and a swim platform with a HUGE water trampoline! Can’t wait to come back and stay!

Ozark Village Resort is beautiful. We loved it so much we are bringing our entire family back for a week in August. There are so many things to do, and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommended!

Great place to visit. They have a wonderful area with lake access for watercraft and great area for families and swimming. Glad I got to spend the day there with my sister and her faimly. Cant wait to go back!

Had an amazing 4th of July getaway at the Ozark Village resort. On July Fourth, there was an incredible fire works show, cake and ice cream. The management and owners were very friendly and nice. For a group of 9 (6 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant) the 2 bedroom cabins were clean and more than adequate. We utilized the nice and clean Pool, with inflatables and pool noddles available. This is located right on the calm and quiet cove. We were able to rent a boat, also a fun first time experience. This is a great place to fish. There is a pool table and ping pong at the club house area. They have grills available, we enjoyed the lakeside evening grilling. The kids had a good time. The view is unbeatable. Would certainly recommend this family fun resort.

We spent a wonderful fun filled and very peaceful weekend here! Absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff.

Clean, friendly, and accommodating. Right on the water. Cabins are small, but climate controlled, clean, and efficient. Wifi and a nice smart TV in the cabin. It was also nice to have a hot shower. Never had an issue with running out of hot water. There's also a kitchen stocked with dishes and available grills (gas and charcoal) to cook our own meals. Pool was extremely clean and not over chlorinated. There is a floating trampoline in the lake within swimming/ floating distance. The cove was very calm especially for a summer weekend. On site boat, seado, and paddle boat rental at a very reasonable price. Plenty of slips if you have your own. Really no need to leave the resort, but the dam and osage beach are very close (we were disappointed in the dam and osage beach outlet mall… next time we probably won't leave the resort). Fun and safe for all ages. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

At first it was an excellent experience even thou when we arrived with our new puppy we were charged a 50 pet fee. Okay no problem my children deserved a weekend away. So we enjoyed the swimming and fishing even a bonfire. On the last night our puppy got sick the office was closed so we cleaned up the mess with 6 towels. As we checked out we were told they were charging 100 fee for 6 soled towels it turned the entire vacation bad. They are a jip no towels cost 100 dollars especially after paying a 50 payment for any dog damage.

Wonderful Family Friendly Place to Stay! Everything you need or would want all in 1 spot. The owners are so friendly and so nice. Pool, Beach, Paddle boats, Water Trampoline, fire pit, grills and so much more… We will be back again! Thank you for a great weekend!

Great camping spot and conveniently located at the lake. Very friendly and reasonably priced. Cabins, long and short term RV sites and tent camping available. Laundry, propane and restrooms on site. RV sites have electric, sewer hookup and water. The internet is slow and temperamental even with a booster. Even though, we would deffinitely recommend this location.

Great resort right on The Lake, a hidden gem if you are looking for the old fashion small family owned resort. Well kept very level grounds with fire pits, swimming pool and lake swimming with a floating trampoline. Perfect place for family reunions and other groups.

Very nice, new cabins. Only complaint is the bunk beds. It's probably fine for families with kids, but for old fishermen like me, climbing up to the top bunk is not recommended. Pricing was reasonable so will probably come back again.

I was first at OVR before I was even born in 1984. It was a place I grew up and unfortunately a place we saw fail to grow. 2014 was the last year we held our family reunion there as conditions and ownership were far from inviting. After returning this weekend I am beyond impressed with the resurrection of OVR and couldn't be happier to be able to make another 30 plus years of memories there.

Stayed for one night during open house 9-23-2017 place is amazing awesome new cabins great view everything in the cabins you need. Beds are very comfortable and the staff was awesome. Would highly recommend staying here even if it is just one night or a week!

Great location. Clean new, cabins, close to water edge to enjoy water activities. Nice dock, boat ramp pool and play area for the kids. BBQ grills also. Friendly employees.

My girlfriend and I took our 4 kids there for the weekend and we all absolutely loved it. We'd never stayed there before but we're already planning our next trip back. The cabin was overlooking the pool and the swim dock so you can watch the kids play from anywhere. The water trampoline was one of the highlights of the trip and we all loved the cabin. The whole place was perfect actually.

I love the new cabins that they built. There's still some work to be done, but it's going to be better than ever. Love the layout of the resort. Great for big groups to all have separate cabins, yet still hang out by the lake or pool.

The cabins on the Lake are wonderful with lake toys, waverunners and pontoon boat. Having a kitchen in our rooms helps us save money for large families. Excellent place to stay. No reason to go anywhere else.

Nice brand new cabins right on the water. Quiet cove. Gas dock. Everything you need for a fun weekend on the lake!

Called to make a resvn 10/23 and 10/24, was planning on renting a boat and was advised by Big Thunder they r closed? Update the web sight people!

We rented the bass fishing boat from them for 8 hours. Not even an hour into the trip the motor started running weird and we just ignored it. Within 2 hours out on the water we noticed that gas was leaking out of the motor into the water. We called them and they brought us a replacement, but then when I went to return the key the man was extremely rude to me, implying that I had cut the gas line. AND they told me multiple times that a tank of gas was included but then when we got back to the dock they tried to make us pay for the gas we used. It's a cheap rental place, but cheap isn't always good. Both boats were clearly dirty and the 2nd one supposedly had a fish finder which didn't even work. One last thing, the office smelled like a bathroom.

My wife and I, senior citizens, enjoyed a three-night visit here May 4-6, 2015. This is an older, but well maintained resort offering good access to the lake via a well maintained marina/pier. Fishing from the pier is provided and the pier has a fish cleaning station with running water. Rooms are clean. The kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, and some cookware and eating ware was certainly adequate for us. View of the lake arm and swimming pool, featuring a well kept lawn, was quite pleasant.
