I booked a room at Day's Inn because it is pet friendly to large dogs. I did not look at the reviews before booking. The day of the trip, my husband looked online and saw several negative reviews. We were apprehensive about staying there, but I had already paid a nonrefundable reduced price. When we arrived, I told the clerk about the negative reviews and asked to see the room. He was very gracious and took us to our room. The room was very clean, and everything worked well. I even looked between the mattress for signs of bed bugs and the mattresses were white and clean. We checked out the next morning. We had to spend the day in Columbia because our dog was being seen at the Vet School. We were told our dog would be there for several hours. We had never been to Columbia and did not know where to go to kill time. We went back to the hotel and the same clerk that had been there when we checked in was working. We explained to him that we had to hang around town for several hours. He looked online and gave us a list of theaters with movies playing. He was very helpful. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Columbia.

This place is out dated and just pitiful! They should not be able to label this hotel as a Days Inn. The rooms are nasty. The staff is inexperienced and down right rude and unhelpful. The staff does not know how a hotel should be ran… I seen the front staff interact in a manner that is not acceptable for a work environment at all. What kind of place is this? Teach your family that it's okay to have relationship with coworkers. All I have to say is good luck! For guest thinking about staying here, do yourself a favor and don't. You'll regret it.

Not terrible like a lot of people said. The room was passable, and pretty clean. The bed was comfortable and the flatscreen TV was good. Only a few negatives: the heater in the room was either too hot or too cold — no happy medium. Same with the shower, too hot or too cold. Lastly, there was a really funky smell out in the hallway…

When we arrived, we were a bit taken aback at how the hotel did not at all resemble the photos representing it online. The hotel is rather run down and looks like it has seen better days. The gentleman working the night shift said that he could not find our reservation, and asked for, and I quote, our consolation number. Upon giving him our confirmation number, he said that our reservation didn't exist and that the hotel was all booked up. This surprised us, as we had even called ahead to let the desk clerk that was working before him know that we would probably be checking in pretty late. While we were going through this process, and before eventually leaving, a woman came up with $40 cash in her hand and seemed surprised that he wasn't giving her a room. I'm guessing that this is standard practice. There were folks all over the parking lot partying and it just seems like this is the absolute last place you would want to spend a night. Thankfully, the good folks at the Hampton Inn right next to the hospital were able to help us out. Even though they weren't able to give us a room, they still charged our credit card. We will be disputing it through the bank and telling everyone that has the opportunity to listen about our experience.

The hotel is supremely dated. Not well lit on the backside and just not in the best shape. With that said, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and large for a suite, which after being on the road for as long as we were, was all we really needed.

Super clean. Not fancy and I would keep my doors locked on my car but I can't complain for the price. I should have spent more but for under 80 bucks, not to bad. Great place for dogs, I have big dogs and was not an issue at all.

This hotel, where do I begin? Filthy, decrepit, oddly laid out, terrible security, in professional staff. Checked in by a young woman eating snacks and licking her fingers. Went to our room which was about 100 degrees, the smoke alarm was chirping and there was something left on the bed. A bug? A booger? Not sure. Giving it 2 stars because they were nice when they switched our room. Also the pool looked scary, musty. Just yuk.

I have never written a negative review for anything. I have never requested to change rooms at a hotel. There are no words to describe how terrible this place was. First room had stains on the bed, and was just filthy. Dirt and feathers all over the floor. Sink was backed up with brown chunks floating. There was a mouse trap set by the iron. Bathroom was nasty. Got moved to another room, which was somewhat cleaner. Found a baby bottle with curdled milk laying by the nightstand, and there is no hot water, so we are unable to shower. Some people we talked to had their toilet overflow during the night and had water pouring down from the ceiling. They also found bed bugs. I was afraid to look. So far have been unable to get a refund. We are stuck for one more night. In town for high school state wrestling tournament and there are no rooms to be had elsewhere… WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I was in columbia to visit my brother in the hospital. I stayed at days inn for 3 nights. Room was nice and comfortable I really like the beds. Their location is great very close to resturants and shopping areas. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. I highly recomend this hotel.

We picked this place based on price. In that regard it was ok, but otherwise very dated probably at least 2 decades since their last remodel. The included breakfast was diverse but not great in quality, there was a waffle iron. Staff were not the fanciest people you could meet and did not show sufficient effort to communicate with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. Fortunately I was there to relay, we arrived late and had to check in via a glass wall desk. But all in all the price was what it was and I wouldn't not stay there again.

We had a group and had 5 or six awful rooms. One had dirty sheets rolled up and stuffed in their fridge. My room had tons of mold in the shower and a sink that leaked water all over the floor. We had a cot for our room that they neglected to give blankets for and they were out when we called front desk. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.

TERRIBLE! disgustingly dirty room. Nothing had been cleaned in multiple stays I'm positive… trash under beds, trash openly laying in bathroom floor, Tons of hair in bathtub and toilet, mirrors and sink not cleaned. Pictures crooked. Sheets were possibly clean but still had stains. Not to mention the bed being held up by bricks. We Asked for a roll away bed they said they would bring one up, 30 minutes later called down to desk and they had forgot, once it was delivered we unfolded it and there was a waded up dirty sheet with hair and crumbs in the bed that smelled like body odor and smoke. We asked to be moved in another room, this room was just as nasty didn't even want to take a shower to get clean because of dirty tub was. These beds were braced with 2x4's rather than bricks, and the heat did not work in 25 degree weather. Hot tub and sauna both broke and employees take no pride in their job obviously! Should not be associated with Wyndham!

My experience wasn’t the best, I’ve seen way better. First I didn’t get there until 3 so I was so tired and ready to just sleep well it wasn’t like that. I got into my room, went into the bathroom before anyone used it; there’s a hair lying on the sink, dried left soap on the tub bar, the floor wasn’t really clean either, the toilet looked like someone just pooped n it was dirty. I went to go lay down the red thing at the end of the bed was stained, the sheets were stained also, the top heavy blanket also was stained and dirty, I checked for bugs there wasn’t any thankfully but needless to say the laundry ladies aren’t doing very good. I also didn’t have a coffee pot which wasn’t a big deal but I was ready for coffee but no I had to go ask for a pot before I could do that. The room could’ve been vacuumed also. Other then that the hotel seemed nice and alright.

Want a place to stay comfortably where you can have a home away from home for whatever occasion big or small you have to make a visit here to see for yourself to see how you can have safe privte yet cosey place of your own to help make things more convenient for you your trip.

Rooms and staff smell like cigarettes. Staff complains about themselves. Sometimes there is no one in the lobby. Hotel is pretty outdated. Nothing in the gym or laundry room works. There is no housekeeping on the weekends. Beds and pillows are comfy and there is a nice pool.

Our experience was terrible. My friends and I thought it would be fun to have a girl's weekend and spend it here, but we were so very wrong. When we arrived, it took at least 10 minutes of waiting at the desk before anyone showed up to check us in. After waiting all this time, it took the woman a very long time to "understand" our reservations (she continued to say "This just doesn't make sense. I don't understand" when staring at the computer). When we were handed the keys, there was just a paper map that she pointed to and said which door to park by and go in, with no direction as to where that was in relation to where we were. Thankfully, we were able to figure out what door to go in and it was unlocked (slightly creepy, since we would assume that you would need a hotel key to enter). We found our room with little trouble, other than the hallways REEKING of cigarette smoke. As we walked in, we noticed a terrible mold/mildew smell. The curtain rod was drooping on one side, the lamp cord was split in two, the carpet was damp, there was hair in the bathtub, the bed was held up by two by fours, there were holes in the walls, the wall was spongy feeling (so was the ceiling), the chair looked like there had been "adult activities" engaged on it, the Bible was sticky and it just frankly didn't sit well with us.

DON'T DO IT! Move on to another hotel… ANY other hotel. Worst. "hotel". On. Earth. Wish I hadn't been so road weary and skipped the reviews before checking in. God Awful. Seriously, read some of the reviews on here.

Stayed here for the Show Me State Games, room rates were of course raised to $110 a night. Room was disgusting. Crumbs on chairs, beds, counters. Trash on the floor, stains everywhere! Hair on the sink and tub, a ring of filth on the tub. Pillow cases were VERY dirty or stained (I couldn't tell). Drawers were busted on cabinets. I felt gross staying here, and room had an awful smell. Hot tub has been broken for some time, ice machine had no ice, and the room was very oddly set up. I complained to the front desk but they had no other rooms available, so I could either leave and not have a place to go or stay and pretend it wasn't that bad.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. It was dirty, the rooms were dirty, the guy that checked us in was the rudest among all people. He wanted to make a copy of my drivers license and keep it on file for 30 days? What the heck is that I have never heard of that? We had my daughters service dog with us and that was a big fiasco. Little did he know he was breaking federal guidelines asking the questions he was. The "hot" breakfast that they claim they have looked like it was days old. Needless to say we didn't eat breakfast there. Bottom line is we wouldn't of even stayed there but the guy said he already checked us in and would charge us for the night anyway. Terrible place!

Jason at the Vault bar gave us a tremendous evening. Best bar in town!

We attended the New Year's event. It was somewhat sparsely attended but picked up as the night went on. The admission price is a great value! It was really nice having the option of being in the Vault for a more low-key experience or going upstairs to Industry for dance music.

Nice hotel and room. Walls are pretty thin so be prepared to hear everything that happens in the hallway. Room was clean and the bathroom is gorgeous.

The hotel staff are wonderful and kind. I look forward to having events and spending time at the Tiger every year.

Very classy place. Well maintained and richly appointed. Drinks are on the pricy side, but not outrageous. The food is well prepared and well presented. I am writing this review based on a prompting from Google opinion rewards, but it's an honest review.

I attended the 2016 Citizen Jane Film Festival and one of the films I saw was screened in the hotel. Spacious room, and the part of the hotel I saw was lovely. Staff were very nice.

This was probably my worst experience at a hotel. I would have rather stayed at the motel six. For $99.00 I got an outdated room and in the first room they sprayed so much spray to cover up whatever smell was in there that it made us sick, it was either too hot or too cold, took over a couple hours to get ahold of front desk, when I did the gentleman was very pleasant and offered to switch us rooms. This was about 1 am. The second room was better in smell but still once again out dated! the light wasn't working, the tub drain took forever to drain, and the rooms are just ridiculous! BREAKFAST by far was terrible. The eggs were watery, the sausage and gravy wasn't hot or tasted well mixed, the biscuits were hard even after being warned up, I was very disappointed! & they offered no compensation SMH.

The price is great but the rooms are nasty! Our beds had pee looking stain on the bedding one bed had Cheeto crumbs under the blankets as soon as we arrived. The pool and hot tub are filthy! The hot tub water looked brown and the pool was freezing and so cloudy you couldn't even seen your feet at the bottom of the shallow end. So we went back to our room to shower the nastiness off and the bathtub was dirty! Started the shower up and dirt started pooling up in the tub. The only reason we didn't leave is bc there were no other open hotels!

The first thing we arrived late @1 am. They placed us in a dirty room. The card keys didn't even work. Wet tile floor. They never got us a key once they put us in a clean carpeted room. Then didn't offer to discount the price at all. The breakfast didn't have any napkins, and the biscuits were cold.

I am giving this place one star because zero stars is not an option. Where do I begin… First off, this hotel is old and decrepit. The owners obviously do not care about this property, and believe me, it shows! There are 2 floors. All interior corridors, and NO ELEVATORS! If you are traveling with someone who has difficulties navigating stairs, and they are out of 1st floor rooms, well, I wish you the best of luck. There are 2 other entrances at the far end of the hotel. Both are supposed to be key card access only for security purposes. However, like most things at this hotel, none of them were working, and the doors remained unlocked, meaning that anyone can (and actually did) access the hotel, compromising guest safety. The ice and vending machines were ALL out of order (there are 3 at this hotel). They had signs posted saying that ice was available at the front desk, along with "complimentary water". However, they ended up running out of both, and neither was actually available. We asked for extra pillows and towels, and neither were provided. We had to raid the maids cart just to get a few extra towels. We were told at check in that breakfast was served until 10am. Went down at 9:15 and was told, quite rudely, by the lady who was in charge of breakfast, that BREAKFAST IS ONLY SERVED UNTIL 9am! The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi. Good luck with that. It kept going out of service. Our room keys quit working 3 times, requiring a trip to the desk for new keys each time.

I had a fun time, but the hotel seemed a bit run down. There were a couple holes in the bed spread, our ground floor window did not lock, and the ice machine was out of order. The staff was pleasant, and I had a great weekend.

I would give this hotel negative stars if I could and this is coming from a college student. I've seen bad and I am not picky but don't book here. Smelly, outdated, stains and makeup on the pillows, cig burns in the sheets. They left our door wide open for AN ENTIRE DAY. Wide open. So we came back from being out and literally anyone could of walked in and took anything. The shower was disgusting and didn't drain, they can't even afford to have the same light bulbs in the lamps. Worst part is THEY DON'T CARE. Every one of our possessions could of been taken and they acted like it was our fault. Said people were coming in and out of our room while we were sleeping? our phone was unplugged and no one even answers. Rude people working, cops showed up twice because they wouldn't refund anyone. There is no manager there so literally no one can do anything. please don't stay there.

Get more fruit in the breakfast buffet. There was one Apple in the fruit thing Friday morning and no fruit at all saturday.

I was there for one night and the room smelt awful! There was a small blood stain on my comforter and a small ash smudge too, I was also in a non smoking room! The beds are hard and very uncomfortable. It's a very outdated hotel! Definitely not worth the price I paid for one night.

OLD building. Smells weird. Had to have maintenance come by to replace battery in smoke detector… but they refused to do the room next door since it was vacant… good thing I was super tired.

It was a little difficult to get to, but the people were incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond when we were there. The temperature was difficult to control in the room.

I was given a smoking room I didn't ask for but the desk attendant was nice enough to change that for me. The room had no cold water only scolding hot. The toilet tank had a piece of plastic resting on top in place of a real lid. The curtains were a bit torn up and the TV barely functioned. Both days by 8 there was no food left. Walls seemed thin as noise from many rooms leaked into mine.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed! To start I walked in with my booking from expedia only to hear the woman in front of me getting her room for 2 nights for only $10 more than I am paying for one night. When I asked about this The manager told me next time to book The hotel directly through them to get The lesser price. The hallways and the front desk smell awful! Once I finally got to my room I realized the toilet doesn't even have a proper cover over the tank. It's a flimsy piece of plastic that you can't even get to the handle because it's so oversized. The bathroom door doesn't even shut all the way! The beds are hard and the hotel is very outdated. The pool room could be nice But apparently putting light bulbs in would be too much to ask. My son and I went to swim and the jets (the ones that actually worked) in the hot tub were so loud we couldn't even carry on a conversation. But that's not even the best part! As me and my children were gone for an hour we came back to realize our key card wouldnt let us in our room. Another guest in the hall informed me her son was just assigned my room and was stunned to see our computer and swimsuits when he walked in! I paid over $100 to sleep in this disgusting hotel! This should be closer to $35 a night. Absolutely ridiculous! We are staying here to take a campus tour for my daughter and I will be coming to Columbia often to visit, but I assure you I will NEVER stay here again. I'll sleep in my car first!

This is a really nice hotel with a very nice staff. I loved staying here and we will definitely stop again.

The pool was one of the best I have seen. The free breakfast was great for the kids. I have seen bad ones but this one was a great stay.

This is a great place with a good location only a couple of miles from downtown. They had nice beds and a television.

Read before you stay there. So last night we decided to stop for a few hours on our way home. Worst decision we made. Though thank god above we found what we found before sitting anything down I'm the room… YEP for sure BED BUGS! a huge red one sitting right on top of the bed waiting for all of us to crawl into bed to suck on us. I'm so grossed out still. The fact that the hotel was almost completely full is so sad because all these people will most likely be taking bed bugs home. First time I've ever seen anything like this. Told the guy up front and I think he thought I was full of it. Hope people realize this before staying there. Yuck! Rooms 253 and 255. Once I seen the one in 253 we ran out of that hotel as fast as we could. Good luck.

We had a late check in and the clerk was very friendly. The room was very clean and we had a very nice stay with easy access onto and off of the interstate.

The place is the greatest best place I have stayed in a week and a half in the whole western united states.

I was here for four years ago and everything greatly improved. We can see that a lot of work has been done. The hot breakfast is nice and the pool was great and we enjoyed the hot tub.

The mattress was the best ever and I had no back problems when I awoke. The room was super clean even for a smoking room. All of my needs where in the room and there is a nice owner.

During my stay in Columbia for business, I have stayed at most of the hotels in the area and this place is one of the worst hotels in Columbia, avoid it at all costs. The rooms are small, old, smell bad, are dirty, various stains, outlets look like a fire hazard, and the shower drains are clogged. The staff are equally unimpressive, incompetent, and could care less about your stay. When asking for things that are common place at 2 star hotels, such as an hour extended checkout, you will immediately be denied, being told by a dimwitted country boy they are not a corporate Days Inn. Spend $10 more a night, go someplace that appreciates your business, avoid this hellhole.

We thought that the pool was amazing as was the hot tub! The entire pool area was very clean and welcoming. We loved the bed in our room! It was extremely comfortable. The stay was wonderful and relaxing! Thank you so much.

Driving from Savannah, Ga. To Denver, Co for my mothers funeral. Was needing a nice room to stay in and boy was it not! Smokers on the bottom floor?! Non smokers on the first? My room reeked of smoke. When I asked them why they do that and don't they realize smoke rises, I was told that smokers enter from outside and non smokers from inside. O. O Really? I guess that magically keeps smoke from naturally rising. There is NO price difference for a single or a double. Overall it was and is the worst experience I've EVER had in a hotel. NEVER stay here.

I have stayed in this Econolodge for the past 3 years. It is obvious the 'new' owners are upgrading with renovations over the last 3 years and will continue to do so. Staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. The inside pool and hot tub are excellent! This facility is clean and neat with a great continental breakfast.
