This is a wonderful place to stay.

Hospitality was overflowing. We picked a winner, when we chose the relaxing atmosphere. Great job.

Do not believe these reviews. We checked in. Came thru a side entrance door that looked as it was falling off the hinges. Went upstairs to our room. Passed by a maintenance room with both doors open, and was a complete disaster. Opened our room, and it was smelly, and very hot. No air on. The glass window was cracked from top to bottom. The smoke alarm was hanging at least 8 inches down the wall by the wires. The beds were flat, and the sheets looked dingy and dirty. The curtain rod was ripped out of the wall, and was hanging. Walpaper peeling off the walls The bathroom sink was stained yellow and the ceilings were stained. This was today, 8/31/2018. Needless to say, we asked for our money back and left. I am very blown away that Choice Hotels has their name on this hotel. I give 1 star because the ladies at the desk were very nice. "You call that Quality? "

It has substantial amount of water damage to the ceiling. The popcorn ceiling actually come off on many places. Had some pieces on the dresser and bed The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Room was hot, air wasn't turned on until arrival. Room Dusty and wall paper had started to peal from the wall and was stapled to stay secure. Very small TV and secure entry was propped open with brick.

The place is old, but it is one of two places on the strip that is pet friendly (+2 stars, as its $35 cheaper a night for a pet than Samstown).

Casino Strip Blvd location a little off our course, but price tempted us. Staff friendly, but motel us in need of many upgrades. First room, the door would not latch closed. Second room AC very slow to respond and air stale. Rug showed dirt in corners. Found dried, crunched washcloth wedged in shower curtain. Had to call desk for the shower faucet operation.

Friendly staff. Clean, quiet. Good hot breakfast. Air conditioning not the best. There was no soap when I got ready for a shower, but plenty of water pressure and hot water.

Do not believe these reviews. You will be disappointed. This place smell like urine and smoke. One star for getting a refund. Rooms are a disgrace.

At the top of the casino era, I'm sure this hotel tucked in the midst of corn and bean fields was as nice as they came. But like an old gangster that is wiped out by the younger competition this hotel had seen better days. The true to style carpet was once golden and prestine, is now brown and stained. The wallpaper which at one time was the top of the line is now falling off of the wall with only the hope of the ceiling paint to keep it vertical. The room was quiet, and seemed to be somewhat clean except for what looked to be a soda dumped down the sink right before we got there. If you are in need of a shower make sure you bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they did not provide it to you. Like the casinos surrounding, this hotel is in desperate need of upgrading and monumental amounts of TLC.

Nice clean rooms staff was great enjoyed the breakfast will stay there every time we go to casinos.

I absolutely loved this place me and my husband got our money back for the rooms we got at glitz. Casino just to go to this hotel with was way much better then the casino and hotel.

I always love staying here. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and it has a very nice grand foyer. The Breakfast is always hot and delicious.

The staff is nice. Short drive to Resorts and Hollywood Casino. In a "food desert" but clean rooms and quiet.

Price was great… very nice, clean and quiet. People were very nice. Several Casinos right close to motel. No close grocery stores a few restaurants. We enjoyed the stay.

This hotel is good for people visiting the casinos. There is nothing close by other than the casinos. No restaurants. Friendly staff. Dated carpet. Comfortable spacious room. Hot breakfast.

This is the "Only" place to stay if you want to be treated like family. Good service, excellent buffet and really comfortable room.

This is the best hotels they have the most comfortable beds I ever slept in when traveling. You are greeted as soon as you enter the building. They have an excellent staff they go above and beyond the call of duty.

Im sure back in the day this hotel was top of the line, but that was 40 years ago. The very much dated reddish-orange-gold brown carpet was stylish in its youth kinda makes you want to vomit now. The wallpaper is mostly peeling off the wall except for what is hanging on by the white ceiling paint that was slapped on by an under paid disgruntled employee, who couldn't be bothered with painters tape. Please remember to bring your shampoo, as you will not get complimentary bottles of them. And there is no elevator. So if your on the 2nd floor be prepared for vomit inducing carpet on your way up.

Staff were polite, hotel was quiet. Room had drywall dust on the tables, but was otherwise clean. Breakfast was edible, if only just.

The hotel is very nice and clean, but do housekeeping have to come by your door knocking and screaming housekeeping at 8:45 in the morning when you don't check out until the next day?

Room smelled and bathroom door wouldn't open but it was nice and quiet and had a perfecr breakfast.

The place is really clean really nice and neat staff members very nice and respectful rooms are beautiful as well as the whole hotel free breakfast in the morning is off the chain sausage bacon waffles country fried gravy grits or oatmeal cereal oh my God loves it.

This hotel was conveniently located and the price was great. HOWEVER, There were dead bugs in the bathroom on the floor and in the room on the carpet. The hallway smelled bad like they had just had a smoking party (cigarettes and marijuana). If you are looking for somewhere that has a fitness room so you don't miss workouts during your visit do NOT book here. The equipment was so old. Like 1972 old. Like the very first treadmill, stepper, and elliptical invented old. It was awful. The free breakfast was mediocre but the fact that there were dead bugs everywhere mad it very unappealing. I only chose this place because it had more stars then the other hotels in the area but I honestly dont know why. I gave it 2 stars for price and because the people there were friendly.

We went for the casinos over the weekend and wanted to stay so we saw the quality in the it was not an expected stay However the people there at the front desk were very nice the rooms were clean the service was great we got up and had breakfast the next morning and went home to Memphis I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I checked in around 9ish or so on December 27th 2015. I never entered room what so ever. After paying for room with cash. I left to go to the Resorts Tunica Casino. Where I got a phone call about a family emergency. On the way out of town. I stopped at the motel to explain that I was going to be unable to stay for the night, and I was not sure if or even when I would be able to return. I asked if it would please be possible to get a refund on the room. At first the Front desk attendant stated well Sir if you have gone into. I stopped her there and stated I had not entered my room at all. She then stated there was nothing she could do but leave a note for management. I asked her to contact management on the phone she dialed someone, and stepped into the backroom and quickly came back to the front and said that her manager also stated there would be absolutely no refunds. I understand if this if I had entered the room but never did. So… I personally will be contacting the BBB as well as expedia and numorous other sites to write this same review.

I had a wonderful experience here at the hotel. The staff were awesome and the rooms are nice. I would like to give a special thanks to (Keisha) who brighten up everyone's morning with a warm and bright good morning and going the extra mile with making sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you for all you do.

Very pleased with the staff. I am very judgemental about cleanliness. It's very hard to find a clean hotel room. I've stayed in the casino hotels and they weren't as clean as this one. They take more pride in there work. Very apreciated. One complaint… the ice machine on my floor was broken during my whole stay… but nothings perfect. Will definitely stay again.

Just stopping through to rest until we reach Chicago. Will post later on of how this visit was.
