Love the hotel very nice and quite.

The bed is a rock. I’m writing this at 4 am because I haven’t been able to sleep all night. I’m convinced that the street outside my window would be a more comfortable place to rest my body. The bed is so hard that there’s no indentation when you sit on it. I’m not entirely convinced it’s not just wooden planks under the sheets. Secondly, the hotel hallway carpet is severely stained — it looks like a murder scene out there. The rooms are shabby and dusty. The bathroom is tight (toilet wedged in a corner by the tub and a wall, don’t plan on relaxing your legs while you do your business) and the tub has hairs inside of it. Of course it is stained and shabby as well — no way I would shower in that thing. The Wifi in our room doesn’t work. We checked in at 9 pm after 11 hours of driving and we are checking out as soon as the rest of my family wakes up. I can’t wait for this place to be a bad memory.

Pretty nice hotel. I was skeptical walking down the hall because the carpet was bad stained. The rooms were very clean, up to date and very comphy bed. I will stay here again!

Disrepectful to customers and other businesses. The other night a front desk attendant harassed me while I was deliverying food and used customers to harrass me as well. When I walked in the lobby she demanded that she get her food for free. The order was 20 minutes late which is understandable to be mad (we only had one driver available which was me). She then shows me her phone saying she called 30 times (she called the wrong number). I tried to help her get a discount by calling my boss, while im talking to him she is yelling that she called "30 times" and that the place is only "3 miles away" over and over again while im on the phone. Then the customers she riled up are yelling at me to give it to her for free and that they are going to throw away all our menus that are in the hotel and make up false bad reviews to post online. While all this is happening people are pulling up to checkin and go to bed because its late on a friday night. I tell the desk attendant that my boss will take some off and she said it needs it to be free. I told her she can cancel it (because by now im done getting yelled at by 5 people in the lobby and the desk attendant and I just want to leave) but she didnt give it back when I said im leaving with it. I had to threaten calling the police so I could get the food back from her. Im calling corporate to let them know that they have an employee that has no problem with treating other human beings so horribly and to use customers to do so.

Although it was a quick stay away from the hurricane… it was very pleasant, clean, and a real complimentary breakfast. Thank you for a great stay. We will return again!

This is one of the worst sleep inns. The people who run it are from India. They are the worst people ever. I am sick and tired of Patel people from India coming over here running our hotel. They need to be run back to the freaking country. I will never ever stay at a hotel run by the Patel’s or people from India. Like I said they need to go back to their own freaking country.

We stayed here last night, the room was clean, no odors. We had a king room on the second floor, non smoking room. The bed was very comfortable! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again if we have to be down there overnight again.

I don't have any complaints about the room itself however I did request a late check-out when I checked in and those notes were not noticed by the first shift crew and I was woken up twice by housekeeping. One time wasn't good enough. I guess they couldn't check with the front desk to see if my claim was legitimate. I did check in late, so I didn't get enough sleep at Sleep Inn.

Comfy beds, people we're nice, breakfast was fine, but smoking rooms being next to non smoking rooms makes for a pretty sad time.

Customer service desk personnel cold and unfriendly, I look forward to a warm greeting when I utilize hotel accommodations for ex. "Hello Welcome to.! " to say the least. Room appeared to be comfortable @ first glance until we tried to use the shower, it was slow to drain leaving the shower water build up level between ankle and calf muscle. We traveled in a group of four; therefore, it was hard for everyone to shower timely! It is not a smoke free facility. Only the rooms located on the first floor are non smoking (which we requested) All the other rooms on upper levels are smoking. This location does serve a drabby complimentary hot breakfast with a juice bar available. During our stay my daughter got very sick and woke up out of her sleep still half asleep while throwing up on the sheet. No control over this she is 3 and we assumed it was something she ate over out vacation; anyhow, she managed to avoid all the other covers besides the flat sheet (did not penetrate through to fitted sheet had removed top covers prior) because of this we were billed an additional $150.00 for the spit up on the flat sheet. We went to the front desk to get clean linen, cleaned and bagged up the sheet as best as we could. The next morning during check out we were not told that we would incur the $150.00 charge for the inconvenience (that was out of our control) the hotel waited until after we left and a day later to charge the card on file for this fee!

The staff was nice and the room was comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast didn't have the biggest selection but the overall experience was great and I would definitely give my business again.

Nice place, good price. The front desk lady needed a 2nd person on a Friday night, but was doing well to help everybody.

Filthy Room! The door to the bathroom would not close. The ironing board cover was disgusting. There was trash under both beds. The walls looked like mud (or worse) had been wiped on them. Gum was stuck to the side of the dresser. The soap was already opened and used, and to make everything terribly worse, we couldn't call the front desk from our room because the room phone was broken. DO NOT STAY HERE! The owner refused to compensate for our concerns and would not change our room or fix the concerns after we reported them. I even sent pictures, and still he was unwilling. This place is horrible! do not stay here!

Comfortable but not very clean and maintained poorly. Too bad, it could be a nice hotel.

Fat, ugly, rude guy didn’t accommodate us travelers. Very bland and stand off-ish. Not engaging at all.

Great Place to stay always my first option, when in Hattiesburg.

Comfy rooms but my pillows provided were small which made it a little difficult to get adjusted right.

The halls smelled musty, my son sat in the chair in the room and it broke causing him to fall over backwards. I went to set the alarm clock and when I lifted it up, there was sticky stuff under it with pubic hair in it. I call the front desk. They said OK. Nothing was done.

Attended a training event. Room was clean, smelled fresh and was very comfortable.

Even though we weren't able to stay long, we LOVED this hotel. Excellent beds, great AC and all the basics you come to expect from a hotel that would cost you $20-$30 more. The breakfast was a full, hot breakfast, as much as you can eat and well supervised. The attendant was out every 5 minutes to make sure everything was good to go. Excellent, friendly staff — even the cleaning crew (Monica) was helpful — our room had been cleaned immaculate and smelled so nice when we first got there. We would have loved to try the awesome indoor pool, outside gazebo area and fitness center had we stayed longer, but we had places to go. Stay here. It's a slam-dunk.

All Sleep Inns I have stayed at are nice and modern. I always read the reviews and ratings of hotels before I make reservation, and this was rated the highest out of all Choice Hotels in Hattiesburg. However, I do not understand how this can be. When my party of two arrived, we both agreed that this hotel is outdated, and you can smell it's foul odor when you approach the hallways all the way to your room. I had a reservation for Tuesday, June 13. After checking in, the hallway and our room smelled really musty. Our room was well-cooled when we entered and all the necessary toiletries were stocked. However, there was rust on the light fixtures in the bathroom, the quality of the sheets were super thin and lightly yellowish/discolored, and the comforter on top of the bed had a 3" hole in it. To top it off, I found 4 hairs in our king sized bed. That was it — — we couldn't handle the disgust anymore. We went downstairs and explained the dirty sheets we found and asked for another room, which we received. As for the new room, it had the same lacking qualities as an outdated room. Nothing great about it. For the price, what can I expect. I will not be back. I highly recommend inspecting what you plan to sleep in for the next 8 hours if you plan to stay at this hotel.

The hotel itself was pretty nice and relatively clean however, the manager had the worst customer service we've experienced. We were delayed getting back to the hotel due to traffic and storms and her inflexibility with our check out time was appalling. We requested a 1pm checkout, explaining the circumstances and she continued to cut me off, insinuated I was lying, and when I advised we were in a hurry to return as soon as possible she stated she would go up and pack our stuff up. When I advised that was not acceptable to us she advised she'd give us 30 more minutes to get back and then charge another day. As a former hotel manager and current customer care manager for a large company, I felt ill that this woman found her attitude and lack of customer service acceptable and hope that those working under her do not emulate her example. You've lost my future business and if you don't want to lose more, I'd recommend she receive better training on customer centricity.

Don't plan on sleeping in at this place. Cleaning staff starts at 830 every morning and they are not quiet. Hot breakfast was cold. Windows were very dirty and the hallway carpets looked really bad. Room was clean and comfortable other than the desk chair was worn out and torn.

The room was nice and the staff was very pleasant. The hotel itself was very good. The people staying next to us were very loud and rude at 3 in the morning. We didn't sleep well at all that night. Other than that, the stay was relatively nice.

I've stayed at other Sleep Inns and this one was just as great as the others. Very hospitable. Only complaint is because it was a game weekend we ended up with a smoking room where the window was left cracked and the screen had a tear so there were bugs that resembled ladybugs on the inner curtain. Hot showers. Decent breakfast.

Rooms were very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Room rates for the quality of rooms you get is also very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

I ended up staying here because the local Choice Suites either over booked or sold my reserved room out from under me and then lied to me about it. The lady at the front desk here handled the situation with aplomb and poise and the room isn't bad plus this hotel isn't under construction.

I would choose this place again, but only if I had no other options. The Internet was slow, at best. There were several liquid stains on the wall. The ironing board cover was filthy. The bathroom mirror was dirty. And to top things off, after I left the room for the entire day and returned around midnight, they had not made the bed. I went back downstairs to ask if it was customary for them not to make the bed, and the answer was, "No. That's unusual. " The night attendant asked if I wanted the linens changed. I said no considering it was after midnight and they'd had since 8:45 a. M. To do so. They had clearly entered the room, because the trash had been emptied, but it was apparent that they CHOSE not to make the bed. The coffee maker didn't work, but on the bright side, they did bring a working one to the room. Buyer beware.

It was a great hotel. Nice people worked there. Really enjoyed my stay.

Telephone in room 209 did not work. I had to call front desk from my cell phone. I could hear third floor guest jumping off beds in addition to all movements in the room next door at 11pm. If I didn't have to be at work at 6:45 am I wouldn't have cared so much — but I just don't think you should be able to hear the floor above you as if you are sitting in the same room. Thank goodness my company was paying for my stay instead if myself.

The room was nice and clean, and the staff was nice. But the complimentary breakfast failed in comparison to other choice hotels in which I have stayed. The coffee was cold and the hot water for tea was not hot. It also had very few choices for breakfast items when compared to other choice hotels. However, it was priced competitively.

They need to allow negative stars… Worst stay I have ever had in choice hotel. Very loud guests in halls and rooms all hours of night. The management spoke to them but nothing more. Elevator not working and no internet! After a 10 hour drive I was far from happy and management offered a "we are sorry" not acceptable!

A very good place to spend the night when traveling through. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful service, good breakfast. Not much else one could ask for for an overnight stay. Was a little surprised to smell the smoke walking in, but that's a Louisiana thing and it wasn't bad enough in the room what's we couldn't get a good night's rest.

Great Hotel in an up beat location. Great morning breakfast at a reasonable price.
