The bed was to hard to sleep on and to much noise.

I called to make a reservation for a friend but decided against it after talking with the complete moron who answered the phone. I ask the man if they had smoking rooms. He told me know but the guest could just stand at the door and smoke. I told him I didn't think that would work my friend. His exact words were:"I don't why they cant walk 3 feet from the bed to the door to smoke. It's not like it takes much sense to figure that out. And nobody in this area has smoking rooms anymore. So, sounds like to me your friend won't have much of a choice. " The management needs to have a customer service course because his choice in words were unacceptable. When a potential guest is talking to you, the best thing to do is try to make them want the room. My advice to any future potential guest is to keep driving past this one.

The worst place I've have ever made a reservation at. We didn't even stay here and wasn't given a refund. Staff was rude and owner didn't return phone call. Bugs in bed and room. Roaches everywhere! No breakfast is served according to staff.

We stayed here a year ago with decent results. This time the rooms were roach infested had to ask for toilet paper and there were no curtains. The Venetian blinds were cut in the corner so that outside passerby could see in room No soap etcetera etcetera. No good. Last time.

Had to change rooms cause the room I checked into was dirty with moldy food in the microwave and hair in the tub. The second room wasn't much better the floor, tub and toilet needed some serious cleaning, towels are either falling apart or dirty. This is a cute place and cheap but no matter the cost I expect a clean room. I wouldn't stay again unless I had no other choice. The management needs to pay better attention to the way the staff cleans I've stayed in crappy 20.00 motels cleaner than this. I took pictures but no where to post them.

Easy access to interstate, Walmart and restaurants. Clean and quiet. Great value. Will stay again when in the area.

Great place, very well maintained, nice owners, quiet, clean, and pet friendly. Our room had the largest flat screen TV that I've ever seen in an inn room. We slept very well. I've saved this on my map. We will be staying here everytime we drive this route. We took the last room last night… its probably best to call to reserve if you are driving through that way just in case… it is worth it. There is a great breakfast place right down the road — Huddle House.

Amazing friendly people! I am on a very tight budget and I couldn't find a place until I came here. They were so friendly and accomadating to mine and my sons needs! The place was very clean, nicer than most chain places and did I mention how friendly they were! We will definitely be back! They are American owned and couldn't have picked a better place! If you are looking for an affordable room this is your place DO NOT go to sands motel! They might've been the rudest people I've met in a long time if not ever!

Great for truck drivers looking for a nice quiet place to stay. Very friendly staff and cleaner than some of the bigger chain motels. They have a truck driver discount which is nice and it is American owned. I do recommend this place in every way.

I am a truck driver that needed a place to stay for a while. The owner was able to work with me on a discount. The people working here are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. I was here over Christmas and the staff gave me food to eat and checked on me. I will never forget the hospitality and of I'm ever near here again I will stay here always.

My family found American's Inn a pleasant place to stay each and every time we visit. They have a menu style pricing ranging from the lower $40's to just over $50 dollars. If we are arriving late and need to just lay down a few hours we get the budget room. If we are staying a few days and want a bigger TV and other amenities we chose the more expensive room, this is a nice feature chains can't offer. From the outside it looks like a plain hotel, but the rooms have great furniture very clean and great beds. The staff treats you more like it is a bed and breakfast than a hotel. And the owner lives at the hotel and is a very secure atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

Great hospitality, we have a great dane and no one else would take us. I recommend them for that.

The room was clean but no towels in the bathroom and the television was this little monitor about 15 inch.

From the pictures online that I saw I didnt think that this place would be any different than every other small town motel. I was wrong. Yes its small, but it was all new. The customer service was great and I found that we had something in common, small world! He also told us about a few good restaurants. The room was a nice size, very clean with a nice bathroom. Also the bed was amazing as well. For the price that they charge I would definately return! Another thing that I really loved was that the TV has built in dvd players. So you arent charged extra to rent one. They also have movies that you can choose from at the front desk. The only thing that I would change would be to put one more towel in the bathroom. Other than that I loved in and enjoyed our stay. Even though it was short.
