I'm usually really nitpicky about my hotel rooms. I usually change the bedding and look in the bathroom and everything and here I didn't. I didn't even feel the need to it was so clean and comfy. Plus we got a studio King at the same price as a queen when we got there. So that was awesome. The front desk staff was over the top. They took pictures for us. They took time to explain the history of the Christmas painting on the wall by a local artist. They sell the books in the gift shop. I have a new book now for Christmas to come. Just all out friendly. Definitely going back again.

Talk with the locals they love their valley very nice views landscapes good food and good people.

Nice rooms the pool area great. Even have life jackets for kids to use. That was great to see. Just over all good. Dont know what theur breakfest looks like but will tomorrow.

Great nights sleep. Staff was incredibly helpful in everything. Breakfast was enjoyable, "for me anyway. " They feature veggie omelets and turkey sausage. Can't beat that, among the usual items. I will be back again. Good job Holiday.!

Stayed at the hotel for over 5 days. Enjoyed the large room, conformable bed and stellar water pressure from the shower. Included breakfast was great lots of options in a nice dining room. Overall great stay.

The room was a very good size for 2 adults. The pool was nice and quiet both times we went swimming. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel due to our truck breaking down on the way home from Minnesota. Thankfully, we were only half mile from the hotel when it happened. For a small town, we found the hotel very nice. I do a lot of traveling for work and have stayed at well over a hundred different hotels. We give this 3.5 star rated hotel 4.5 stars out of 5. We stayed in a king suite with fold out sofa, which worked great for my wife, two small kids and I. The bathroom was very good and spacious with an excellent shower. The room overall was very spacious, with above mentioned sofa, a decent lounge chair, coffee table, desk and office chair. The room also had a mini fridge and microwave, both of which we used. The room had a new, large screen TV with Directv and lots of channels selections, including several kids channels which worked great to entertain them when we weren't at the pool. We utilized the pool several times a day, for multiple hours. Very nice size pool, though I felt the area around could have used a little more grit to prevent slipping (which happened with my 5 year old). The hot tub was also very large. If memory serves right, the pool has a capacity of 74 and got tub 20, to give an idea on their size. The included breakfast was better than average for similar 3-3.5 hotels, with eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage/bacon as well as fresh fruit, cereals and healthy options (such as egg white omelet).

Great updated and clean hotel! I really enjoyed my short time at this hotel. Every staff member I came in contact with were super nice and very helpful! Would definitely stay again if im ever in the area again.

Cleanest HIE I have been to, and most are quite clean. Cleaning person was using a crevice tool along the hallway, impressive. Large pool is nice, hours could be better, not late for kiddo's, so plan ahead.

Wonderful accommodations. Conveniently located to shopping. Not far from some of the best fishing Wisconsin has to offer. The rooms decor is above average and cozy. The beds are comfortable and perfect for frantic wine drunk love making with your fishing buds.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and owners who care about the community. I stayed there when I first came to town and they took care of me after a 2000 mile trip. Later, they sponsored a student recognition program at my school. Quality top to bottom.

Room was clean, staff were nice, breakfast was decent and price was right. I got exactly what I expected, just a nice clean room and breakfast.

We have been coming to "Our Cabin Up North" now for over 16 years. This is "home" for us! The staff is fantastic, and we do not want for anything. Just a wonderful place to stay, that we highly recommend to anyone coming to the area. We stay around 12-15 nights per year at this location on various weekends and holidays throughout the year. One of Holiday Inn's best properties and franchise owners. Awesome!

Clean and comfortable rooms. I booked an executive suite so that I would have a fridge and microwave and I was impressed how big the room was! Staff was very friendly and had a good breakfast in the morning.

The staff went extra miles to accommodate our girls' hockey team: all players received a "Good Luck" puck plus the staff had the full breakfast course ready at 5:30am — — 1 hour earlier than usual. Thank you Holiday Inn staff! Proud Granny.

The room and accommodations were what I had expected. However, we found snack wrappers behind one of the nightstands, toothpaste on the bathroom wall, one of the bedside lamps did not work, and the lamp outlet on my side of the bed did not work (lamp worked fine though). Overall, it was not a horrible experience and yes, I would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed in a king room with a sofa. Nice room, very spacious. Decent pool and hot tub as well. Next morning they had a breakfast. The pancakes machine was broken but they had premade omlets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, and many other breakfast cereals and such. Also some really good cinnamon rolls. The data was awesome, very friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. I will definitely return for another stay if we are in the area.

Nice accommodations. Our first night was in a double queen room which felt a bit cramped. The second night we asked to move to a king room with a pullout couch. We much preferred the king room. It was much larger with 2 dressers and 2 TVs and a nice little counter area with a sink and microwave. We stayed on the 4th floor and the rooms and hallways seemed quiet. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Pool is good sized and the hot tub was set to 104 and seats up to 15. The breakfast was a bit lacking compared to other places we’ve stayed. My daughter liked the cinnamon roll but was hoping for the waffle maker found at most places. Very nice fitness room with lots of machines and variety of equipment. They do offer laundry service where for $10 plus expenses staff will take your items to a nearby laundromat and then deliver them to you later. Overall I’d recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

The hotel is not a big thing and there is nothing close to interesting to visit.

This hotel was in a nice location by the State Parks and Cascade Falls. The pool area and breakfast were also better than expected. The rooms were small for a family of 5, which made the hotel room not a place we wanted to stay in for long. The bathroom had an odor in it that was very noticeable when we first would return to the room. Overall very nice staff.

Always clean. Very comfortable beds. Great staff. Convenient location.

Posting this in hopes of providing feedback. We are IHG Spire elite members, and travel quite a bit. The location of this hotel makes it somewhere we have considered several times. We have passed on it, only because of the lack of guest laundry. We keep waiting, thinking they will update and at least put in one washer dryer for guest use, but last time we checked. Still nothing. For us, there are certain things a hotel must have, even for a short stay for us to consider them an option. Guest laundry is one of those things. It looks like a nice place and location would be great for the river and state parks. But until there is guest laundry available at the hotel, our family will have to choose another option.

Friendly check in! Nice clean rooms and a continental breakfast. It was a little pricey for the time of stay for a wedding (170 pr night) but considering your options it's a no brainer!

The hotel is a nice place to stay. The staff is wonderful! They've been very accommodating and friendly. The air conditioning in our room is not very cold, but other than that, we are enjoy our room very much. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Absolutely perfect, honestly. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, room was perfectly clean and bug free (I'm paranoid about bedbugs), shower was powerful and pleasant and included bath and body shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and a Keurig in the room. I missed breakfast coming in so late, but it sounded pretty typical. I would highly recommend this plac; I'll be back!

Location is decent but not much to do around the area. Rooms were excellent and the staff was professional and friendly. Will stay here again.

The hotel is close to a grocery store, and some places to eat. There is a cafe right in the parking lot, but it closes early at 3pm. The room we stayed in had very comfy bed although there was no microwave or fridge, which was a pretty major downside. Service was good, provided us with things we needed.

My wife and I along with my mother booked a room for a weekend for northern invasion the room is nice but there is no refrigerator in our room other than that it's good it's a nice place.

Received a free room upgrade. Complementary coffee and water in lobby, pool and 24 hour fitness center (neither of which I had time to check out). Large complimentary breakfast available. Clean room.

Very nice Holiday Inn Express. Nice rooms, fast Wi-Fi, warm pool, good breakfast, great staff. The only bad thing I could find was: The beds in my room were a little squeaky. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.
