Great pool and great clean rooms.

New Year's with the grandkids, pool was full of kids having a great time. Fun was had by all.

Nice clean soundproof rooms, breakfast selection was better than standard.

This is my first time visiting Wisconsin from my home state of Texas. Nice hotel! Clean rooms and common areas. Breakfast is really good quality stuff. The bar is awesome with a great selection of craft beer. Chris is an awesome bartender that really knows his stuff! I would definitely want to stay here again!

It’s awesome, workout room was the only awful thing is because I’m a big runner and the treadmill went broke down.

We have free room and board when we visit Oshkosh, but we choose to stay here. Mostly because of the pool! Great kiddy pool. My littles LOVE it.

This place had horrible guest service. When I called, I was either hung up on and had to call back, or no one answered. I booked several room for candidates and will never use this hotel again if I can help it.

Located next to outlet mall so perfect for shopping. Two queen bed room had ample room to move around bed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is our 5th year staying for over a week each time. Staff has always been great. They have corrected any problems that have arisen promptly. The building is sturdy and we have weathered some serious storms here. Breakfast server is very accomodating, always plenty to eat. Pool is very inviting, we always bring our swim suits. We plan to attend Air Venture for many more years and this place suit my two special needs daughters and myself very well. Try it and see for yourself!

Stayed in room 218 July 12-14, 2018. In the first hour we found out the tub drain was clogged and had to call maintenance (who was nice & very fast). Then we thought it strange that there's no bathroom fan but then noticed a vent in the ceiling so it must've been broken (didn't feel like calling maintenance again; that bathroom got HOT after four of us took showers). Thursday night around 1230am we're all sound asleep when the fire alarm went off sending us all sky-high and scrambling for shoes, wallets & car keys only to get to the front desk and be told it's a false alarm, we can go back to bed. Saturday morning breakfast consisted of room temp scrambled eggs, watery ham so sweet we couldn't eat it, dried out French toast and only decaf coffee. Milk was served in gallon jugs but there were no cups (not even coffee cups) so we drank from the waffle batter measuring cups (the self-serve waffles were actually very tasty, thank goodness! ) Other patrons were calling for someone from the kitchen door but there wasn't any staff around to service the "buffet" so multiple people went to the reception desk to ask for someone. Saturday morning we went for a swim but came up with two handfuls of hair in an hour and decided to get out before the next one catches us in the face. There also appeared to be soggy potato chips and a cigarette butt sitting all over the pool floor. Oh and the pool only gets 4.

“False fire alarm” at midnight while people are being woo girls in the hotel bar and smoking inside the building when it goes off, say something to the front desk and get the most deer in the headlights look like they have no idea what the hell is going on in their own facility. No towels at the pool this morning. Paid extra money because of it being festival time and have had way more respect at a super 8.

Our room was large and clean. Cleaning staff very helpful and friendly. Fun bartending staff. Had a great stay.

Big rooms, warm pool and hot tub. Great bartender. They did some double booking and could use some updating.

Called the morning before we came to make sure there would be a crib available for our baby. Was told yes. We arrived and asked for the crib. They advised us it’s in a locked room that only managers can access and there’s not managers over the weekend and we’d need to wait until Monday. We stayed Friday-Sunday. Really? We seen online what appeared to be some type of arcade. We couldn’t find it so asked a hotel employee. She said “umm it’s somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd floor”… the employee had no clue. We tried calling the front desk several times — it rang for minutes at a time and no one ever answered. Every time we went to the front desk no one was their or they were talking on a cell. Room was dirty. Wasn’t even cleaned during the stay after we requested it to be. Just the beds were made. Dirty towels that were left on the floor never replaced, coffee never replaced, they didn’t even take out the garbage, picking up or using a vacuum must not be part of cleaning here. Awful experience! Will never be back.

I liked it. The pool, I slightly disliked for being shallow. Breakfast was mediocre as well.

Was very disappointed. Was charged double for room. Once with cash and then credit card. Was promised reimbursement.

I never write reviews but felt the need here. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, ever… the gal at the front desk, nicole went way above and beyond her duties. I stayed at this hotel because my daughter had a body building competition in the oshkosh area and the host hotel was full so we were defaulted to this hotel. We all arrived on friday and we were supposed to check out on saturday. Well that did not happen, we all ended up staying till monday because we were snowed in. Yes, snowed in… i. Guess it was one areas biggest blizzards in over 100 years. Everything in the oshkosh area was closed. I mean everything. We had no food, drink, extra clothes… We couldnt leave our hotel! But I made a good friend Nicole. Nicole took the time to just visit with me cause I had nothing to do. I was very lucky to have her to vent to cause it was kind of a stressfull situation. I also want to mention that the hotel is beautiful. The pool area is gorgeous. The breakfest was awesome… the rooms are huge. If I ever visit oshkosh again I will definitely stay there. I sure hope if I come back that Nicole is there… the only thing I could add to this review is that I wish the hotel bar would have been open because I sure could have used it. Well we all could have! Also please know that the othet staff and housekeepers were great too, but nicole made my stay alot easier during the craziest situation ever.

The room was very comfortable and clean, pool area was kept up nicely and had good amenities. Continental breakfast was really good. My only complaint was that the staff could have been a lot more friendly, but they were helpful when needed.

I typically don’t do many reviews of hotels unless it’s extremely good or bad unfortunately this hotel has horrible beds and the pillows are rock hard so if you want to bad night sleep stay here definitely. The pool area was nice for kids and the location was easy to get to but does not make up for the fact that the room was extremely uncomfortable. Plus we have no idea the hot breakfast was good as an employee was in the emergency room and apparently they could not make the breakfast for us on a Sunday morning.

I have been at the Oshkosh Hawthorne hotel since early November, the room is dirty, the sheets had blood stains and we're ripped, I switched to the other bed only to find a ball of hair under that bed, the light has been broken since day 1, the cleaning crew forget toilet paper one day, Kleenex the next, and never cleaned the bathtub. I just got in tonight in a different room, only to find food left in the fridge, half used soaps, shampoos, and conditioner, broken light again, dirty microwave, chair, stained desk, all the wood items look like someone took a knife to them. I brought the food and half used soaps to the receptionist and expressed my frustration with the continued poor conditions. If I was here for a night or two this would be bad enough but I'm here for months and this hotel continues to let me down, poor service, poor condition, dirty, disgusting, the garbage do not get emptied, the beds are old pillows very lumpy, not where you want to stay, avoid at all cost. In a town with so many options avoid this place.

Elevator needs replacing big time! Pool if freezing… and I'm always hot… So I couldn't even enjoy a swim.

Room was clean and the lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Much better experience than the last time I stayed here. The bar is only open from 5-7 so not much time for socialising on site. The hot breakfast is good and the pool area is great for the little ones. The small workout room has a treadmill, elliptical and a stationary bike. Right next store to an outlet mall for shopping.

The rooms were clean. They have very nice rooms. The breakfast was good. When I checked in a lot of people were having to wait to check in because rooms weren't ready. Some of the people we're getting pretty agitated about waiting so long.

Dont know how this place gets such high ratings. Maybe management making fake accounts and giving high ratings. Horrible, gross and dirty. No one at front desk so any criminal can walk in at night and break into your room. Everything is broken or run down. Pool is ok at best and staff, well there nowhere to be found. We attended wedding at attached la sures and that was nice.

Very family friendly. Had a great kids pool with slide. Good location to a lot of activities.

My bed has been made everyday since I checked in. Beautiful 2 Room suite with range, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator. It has been a great place to call home for these 2 weeks.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but my most recent was much different from the rest. The rooms, as well as the rest of the accommodations seemed to be run down. Also, the hotel had a nice restaurant in the past, but recently lost it. This was a very attractive, and a personal favorite, quality of this hotel. It seemed as the restaurant went, so did the rest of the hotel.

Breakfast was good, swimming pool was large and hot tub was hot. Had a pool table too, which is unusual. The rooms were nice, fridge and microwave.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and caring people. Vicky provides top notch service!

Overpriced for an average hotel. The pool is the only reason to pick this over anywhere else.

Oshkosh wi, 2 adults, 2 choldren, 2bed suite, hotub, pool, and little fridge in room. They had full hot breakfast for free which is really good.

The room was well appointed and clean.

Was fun, minus kid pool and regular pool were cold.

They just had their pools refinished — wow! Nicest pool in a hotel in Oshkosh, Pool, Whirlpool and a pool for the little children plus a pool table. Gas grill right outside the pool and the rooms are large even the standard rooms and free hot breakfast buffet they even have Fox News on one of my favorites!

Beautiful! Has a spacious kid's room with a bed for mom and dad plus two twin beds for children. Also has a small pool with slide perfectly sized for little children besides the normal pool and hot tub. Excellent full breakfast.

The blacktop that connects the road with the driveway during the winter is consistently slippery and/or extremely bumpy from piled up ice and snow. Numerous amounts of times during the winter (or summer) have I nearly formed an accident because of this serious unaddressed issue after I had assumed the driveway was cared for. The ice can be bumpy enough, that if one did not know the icy bumps were an obstacle, they would do serious damage towards the vehicle they were driving! Whereas during the summer, with rainfall, half of the driveway is near a foot deep in water. Rendering more than half of the driveway USELESS AND DAMAGING to the underside of vehicles. No matter what time of year your taking a risk just by driving into the parking lot. Its a shame friendly service doesn't make up for personal property damage.
