Stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the appearance and friendly greetings we got and how nice the rooms were. The same with the pool great visit.

Just visiting relatives. Pool room was too hot, but there was a nice snack and coffee bar, and convenient price for stay, which included pool and hot tub.

So the super 8 was pretty good. Typically we stay elsewhere, however not many hotels were in the area so we were forced to use super 8. We didn't have high expectations, but we're pleasantly surprised. Due to another traveler's needs the hotel had to switch our accomendations, but unlike most hotels that tell you at check in, this place actually called in advance to inform us. Furthermore the place actually had decent recommendations for the local area, and had a warm breakfast in the morning, which I didn't think super 8 typically provides.

This is a nice hotel for the money, but DON'T stay here if it is hot out. They have some stupid energy efficient ac system that shuts itself off after an hour or so when it doesn't detect motion. In the 90° weather we had the night we were there that meant it would just start to cool off, we would fall asleep, the air would shut off, we would wake up in a pool of sweat, mover around trigger the AC to restart and begin the process all over again. Frankly, energy efficiency is not my main concern when I book a room.

Nice enough. Pool was nice. Breakfast sucked.

Some employees are amazing and attentive but some that have been here longer have become rude.

Everything was clean but seemed a little dusty at first. The staff were very polite and helpful. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast, clean rooms for the price it was a good stay.

Clean and quiet spent the night for a procedure to be done at. Monroe hospital and they give you a dis count to stay there when it's for an appointment at the clinic or hospital.

If you want a good nights sleep, pass on this hotel. The floors seem to be made of the thinnest plywood, so you hear every single footstep above you. Your best bet is getting a second floor room. If it’s not the people stomping around, it’s the inconsiderate contractors slamming their doors every single time they leave and enter their rooms. All hours of the night. I’ve stayed at many hotels and this is by far the worst for peace and quiet.

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and any issues were addressed appropriately by staff. We were traveling with a hockey team and they did have a sizeable list of"thou shalt nots" for hockey teams staying at the hotel. This is a little frustrating to see as a hockey parent because I feel that hotels that are willing to house teams and take our money should be more accommodating of all that comes with housing a hockey team, however, I understand they're doing what they feel is right to protect their property and ensure the peace and enjoyment of other guests. I just wish it was presented in a more polite way. Other than that, staff was accessible and helpful. The motel is located near shopping and dining and our overall opinion is good.

We are local and swim here often. It is always clean! The conference room is great for parties!

Great place to stay while in or passing through Monroe. Staff was super great and accommodating. My room had a fridge, microwave and safe. There's only one washer and dryer but they're free to use. Wi-Fi works perfectly. The pool and hot tub are clean. Bathroom is clean. I pulled the sheets off my bed to make sure that there weren't any type of stains. Everything good. I was able to check in early without any extra charge. They even had a plug outside to plug in my truck. It was — 12 when I was here. Vince's restaurant across the street had great food and they also deliver if you're feeling lazy. Piggly Wiggly is just a short walk down the street. I can't imagine why some of the other reviewers had a problem here. Maybe they're probably too fussy or they're the problem.

Swimming pool was great for the children's birthday party I attended during the winter.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture is dated but overall this was a great place to stay for the price. I will stay there again if I visit Monroe again.

This was the second time staying at Super 8 Monroe. Our family lives in town so we visit on Thanksgiving. Thankfully, it's pet friendly so I was able to bring my puppy. The pool and hot tub was open until midnight, too! We couldn't get the TV to work at first but the hotel staff fixed it quickly and was very kind. We also enjoyed their Continental breakfast. We will be back again next year!

I always enjoy staying here. Rooms are clean, staff is awesome, and the spa is excellent!

It is your basic hotel for the price. Clean room and bed. Great hot and cold breakfast items. Hot tub and pool are good. Great customer service. Would book there again.

Excellent place, Room was Great, clean and modern. Staff was friendly and pet friendly.

No elevator or it would get a 5 star. Hauling big suitcases up and down was a drag. Doors were closed due to a fire alarm adding to the difficulty. Staff was nice, but not at every door as they should have been to help.

Very satisfied with my stay! Great clean room with comfy beds, cable tv, made service is a 10 the continental breakfast was enough to make a 2, 26, 30 & 57 yr old not only satisfied with breakfast but lunch… and after able to enjoy a hot tub and indoor pool… what else do ya want for 6X bucks?

Just okay. We stopped here for an overnight en route while flying in to Oshkosh for the big airshow. Room was a little musty and the bed linens were not straight on the bed. Looked like a drunk person made up the room. There was someone else's trash in the trashcan. Shower pressure was great and like I said overall it was okay. I'll try another hotel next time I am in town for sure!

I love the location, lots of options close by for food gas and grocery. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean, looks like some updating has been made.

Rooms and service were good. Breakfast was your normal continental breakfast. Did find some items from past guests in our room though.

Fine budget hotel. Water pressure was nice in the shower. Rooms have fridges. Fixtures a bit dated but they have tried to add some modern updates. Did not have a chance to try pool or hot tub.

There are not that many choices in Monroe and this is the less expensive of the two. It's a typical Super 8 economical and vanilla. The pros: It's clean inside and they have a nice breakfast area with decent offerings. The rooms are clean and the place was quiet. The pool is great for kids and the location is great. The cons: The staff is less than friendly and I mean even those fluent in English. We were greeted by a less than friendly curmudgeon at the front desk and that basically set the tone for all staff interactions. Also the giant ash trays at the doors are an eye sore and are there really fools who still smoke in this day and age. If you are going to smoke get away from the doors! According To The Big Food Jerk. This is a typical "You get what you pay for". For the price it's OK but that sums it up… It's OK.

Terrible I would recommend that if you have kids to never ever stay there. The manager is the rudest person in the world and should never manage anything period.

Breakfast could be better But it is not bad.

Manage Rick rodges got into the face of a guest and was yelling and cursing at her in front of children. He made one of the children cry and then was asked to stop because the child was clearly upset and he said he didn't give a f. K. Then proceeded to call the police on them. That man has no business being the manager of a family friendly establishment. He should be let go from the super 8 motel in Monroe Wisconsin…

We stayed there last night and it was great staff so wonderfull and extremely helpful I loved everything highly recommend this place.
