The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The building smells clean too and that's a big thing for me. Very convenient location, walking distance to UW-M continuing Ed building, a must for me!

The hotel was centrally located downtown. The morning breakfast was good and the gym was a great bonus feature. Price was affordable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lots of construction going on in that area. Not Fairfields fault but it does make it inconvenient to get through. No covered parking. The parking lot was sketchy although nothing happened to our vehicle. Breakfast was good. Staff were all nice and helpful. I would go back and recommend it.

The room was clean and tidy, and nicely decorated. A family of 3 with a two-year-old was put into a very very small handicap room. So it was a little tight with a pack and play etc. But overall the pretty nice stay. We didn't stay too long but for an overnight it was great.

Stayed overnight after a Bachelorette party and we got the room at a great rate. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice room, clean and modern. A decent free breakfast. We'd come back again.

Fast friendly check in. Self park or valet park. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Room was spacious. Breakfast included a large variety of hot and cold items. Definitely would stay there again!

Great value. Stayed here over New Years, and while the weather was well below zero, the room was cozy and we had a nice stay. Close to everything downtown. Parking was easy. The room we stayed in was small, but was nice. Breakfast was nothing crazy but was good all things considered. Would stay here again.

Hotel was great for a weekend stay. I was up there for the Mets game and wanted something downtown. I was about 11 minutes from the stadium and less than 10 from the third ward. I'd defiantly come back.

The hotel was nice and the room was clean. Our only complaint was we reserved two queen beds and the ones in our room was the size of a full. On top of that the manager assured us those were queen beds. Just be aware if you are staying in this hotel the beds are small!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Room was quiet and comfortable, even with the remodel going on. Will definitely stay here again! I recommend this hotel if you are in Milwaukee!

I will not stay at this hotel again. While they offered a really good breakfast and the front desk staff was pleasant enough, the rooms were very small (you could only get out of the bed from one side or at the end of it, the other side was right against the wall. ) The rooms were very warm and the $18 a day parking was terrible. We stayed 2 nights; the first night I called about the temperature in the room and the front desk told me they had been having issues with the rooms being warm and were trying to get it fixed. I asked for a fan and he said they were all being used. I asked to switch rooms and he said they only had a room with a king bed. I had 3 kids with me and asked for that room and 2 roll away beds. He informed me that he couldn't do that since only one bed would fit in that room. The next night I called again about the room being hot; the front desk then told me that it is an older hotel and it does not have air conditioning. She said the rooms only have the ability to shut the heat off and they were still out of fans. The parking is $18 a day to self park which wouldn't have been so bad if you didn't have to park half way down the street and around the corner and carry all your stuff that far. (and good luck finding a spot if you arrive past 10. ) We tried to park in front of the hotel to unload our stuff and after circling the block 4 times, I gave up. We've stayed at several Faifield Inn & Suites and have enjoyed our stays, until this one.

Everything was perfect except no way to cool the room down. It was 85 degrees when we checked in at 2pm and we were told to turn the heat fan off and that we could have a fan brought to our room. We turned everything off and We went to the bucks game and by the time we came back the room around 11:30-12am it had only dropped 2 degrees and were told that they had given all the fans out. They discounted the room which is appreciated but that’s about all they could do. I absolutely would not stay here again unless the whole building had AC.

Nice, clean, cozy room and friendly employees. Service was excellent, and rooms definitely had a professional-focused feel to it. Great value too!

Loved the staff! They were beyond helpful and friendly. It was clean and very comfortable sleeping. The breakfast buffet was great too. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was super hot and the "A/C" just made it hotter. Eventually we turned it off and let the zero degree weather cool it down. Room was very small. Otherwise, clean room, courteous staff, and good location to visit the Bradley Center.

I had a small corner room, but it was very nice. Decor was great, nice web enabled tv. Hospitality of the staff was great. Breakfast was above average for normal hotel breakfasts. Overall I was pleased and will stay there again!

Other than the bed being hard as a rock, everything else was great.

Very nice hotel with a few minor complaints. I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a conference up the street, and spent an extra night enjoying downtown Milwaukee after the conference was done. First, the positives; The hotel is situated in a fantastic location in downtown Milwaukee. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants, bars, and attractions in the city, including Water St. And the Third Ward. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and orderly. I greatly appreciated the breakfast, for a hotel breakfast it was excellent. The fitness center was limited but again, for a hotel it was well equipped enough. My only real quibble was the size of the non-suite room I stayed in. For the price, I guess I expected a slightly larger space. However, the room was clean and the housekeeping was efficient and effective. We were also lucky enough to have a 2nd floor room overlooking the Milwaukee Holiday Parade. We had a fantastic view and it was a nice Saturday morning treat! Would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeper was amazing for our needs. She accommodated us and made us feel like our needs were being taken care of. Location was great for our conference at the Wisconsin Center. The room was adequate, minor bathroom upkeep issues.

Very nice rooms and good price for the area! I've stayed a couple times for Pabst shows and both times I was very pleased with the staff, room, price, and location. Front desk staff is always very pleasant, and they always have complimentary fruit-infused water in the lobby, which is a nice touch. There is also a convenience store 2 doors down and some items in the lobby for purchase if you need snacks or forgot something. Plus it seems to be one of the only places downtown with free breakfast, which is great! They even had vegetarian breakfast sausage the one time I woke up in time to eat it. Parking across the street is $15 overnight.

Walking distance to shopping. Room view was really nice and breakfast was good. Will stay there again.

We were only in town for two nights to see a concert but the Fairfield staff made us feel like we had never left home. The facility is beautifully maintained and close to everything that we needed. One of my friends had even forgotten to bring a toothbrush but they brought one up for him! I'll definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Milwaukee.

Convenient downtown location. You have to pay for parking, but that's the case everywhere downtown. The upside is that their lot is less than a block away and you don't have to use valet services.

Nice friendly staff in the middle of downtown. Great restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Also good free breakfast with stay.

As a former customer service manager, good service really stands out to me. I had difficulties with my original booking (which was a reduced price for a group conference I was attending) and when I showed up to check in, my reservation wasn't in the system. Roberto L. Was very helpful and was able to get me a room on a crowded night and even honored my group rate. He was personable and friendly, and genuinely wanted to help me out of my problem. It was honestly such good service it could have been shot for a corporate training video. And a cool historic building to boot! Will happily stay here again in the future.

Located near the heart of downtown just a few blocks from the Wisconsin Center and a mall, this hotel is ideally located for visitors. From the hotel you are able to walk to many different restaurants and places if interest near by. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you may need. The rooms are clean and comfortable with spacious layouts to where you don't feel cramped in them.

Hotel is easily identifiable. Cool older building with some old character touches. Friendly staff, asked us when we checked in of we had a floor preference and they put us way up high so we could have a great view.

This Fairfield is a brand or Marriott and it is located in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee which gives it a great location. The staff is friendly the hotel is nicely remodeled and it has a decent continental style breakfast in the mornings. The rooms are clean and very business designed for the business traveler. The Wi-Fi is great and they have a free business center and decent workout room. The thing that makes this hotel 5 star for me was the phenomenal and caring staff they truly were welcoming and even though I had a an issue with my room they went above and beyond call of duty to make sure I had a great stay for that they deserve a wonderful review.

The breakfast was very nice. Some of fixtures in the bathroom were not secured down so they were hard to use. Otherwise it's a nice hotel with lots of things in walking distance.

I don't think it was changed the hawk notre dame the Samsung Galaxy Note that the hawk CDM in the stick around the corner of your own home and the Samsung. This is my 3rd visit in the past month. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is great and The staff is extremely friendly. They all made me feel so much at home. Have been so accommodating and they really cared about my needs. I am again staying there this weekend. And I know, as always it is going be be a great stay. Wouldn't stay at any other place but here. Thank you to all for making my stay so comfortable.

Clean room, plenty of space in the suite. Plenty of outlets to charge all our gear. Breakfast was the standard continental fare which I love. Everything was stocked and tables were clean. Location was very convenient as well in downtown.

Overall my friend and I had a good stay. Rooms were well kept and clean. Breakfast was excellent as well as front desk and employees were very nice. Would definatly stay agajn and recommend to others.

Good location. Plenty to do within walking distance. Rooms are a lil small and pretty basic. Good for a short 1 or 2 night stay. Service is decent.

Oh where to start… First, the people at the lobby desk told us that our car would be towed if we parked on the street. They recommended we pay for their parking instead. We parked on the street, not even a ticket. Next, the room was super small, especially for the price we paid. We stayed in a suite at the Hard Rock Chicago and paid only $10 more there, and the bathroom at the Hard Rock was as large as the entire room at Fairfield. The breakfast was the best part, even if just mediocre, but it was better than we expected. I will not consider this hotel in the future.

This is a beautiful hotel, great location but when I have to leave the hotel in the middle of the night because I wake up to find a large full grown bed bug on my pillow, a smaller one on my toddlers pillow and a larve in the bed I tend to not be too pleased. The size of the bugs show they were there for awhile, these weren't just larve that someone brought with them a few days ago on their suitcases, these were bed bugs of different stages so they have been there a while, which also means the hotel doesn't check for them as often as they should. The front desk person didn't know what to do in the situation, called her manager on the phone who didn't even talk to us but asked us to call her in the morning. Also, there were no more double occupancy rooms left, I was not going to stay in an infested room, it was 2 am I didn't feel like searching for another hotel in the wee hours of the morning, so we took our 19 month old son and drove the 1 and a half hours home. This is the 2nd Marriott hotel I have stayed at where there were fully grown bed bugs. Not happy, expect to get at least triple our points back and all cleaning expenses for our items reimbursed, we shall see, I am going to wait 1 more day if the manager doesn't contact me directly I am going to skip calling her since she will have shown no interest in making this experience right and contact corporate directly. Other than that if it hadn't been for the bugs I would have enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here twice. First time in a suite and was really impressed with having a heater in the bathroom. Second time, was checked into a normal room on the highest floor with no view and heater in the bathroom. Breakfast was not as fresh.

Great location in downtown Milwaukee just a few blocks from The Pabst Riverside Theater!
