This was a great place! Stayed overnight Service is great rooms were nice and well kempt. There is a pool but the pool is not that big water only goes to 4-5 ft. Deep also there is a hot tub but this was closed during my stay for reasons unknown. There is a workout room but you have to go through the pool to get there which is somewhat inconvenient. There is breakfast which starts at 7. Checkout time is 12 noon this was really nice seeing as how most checkout times at other places are earlier! All in all my stay was great I encourage others to stay a night or two if your looking for for someplace nice and laid back!

For some reason I have never used them before but that will change. This unit has perhaps created a bit of a man crush for me. Rooms and facilities as a whole were spotless as expected. The extras were what got me. Free homemade cookies at the desk 24/7 (wouldn't have believed it if we had not passed through the lobby while they were cooling on the sheets. Yes we waited for a moment for a warm one. ) They offered a brunch and not just your usual one. An excellent selection was presented from cereal to waffles, the bacon was nicely done and not in stuck together mass to accompany the first pan of powdered eggs that somehow managed to be hot, moist and tender all at the same time. (Note that everyother place that serves them IT CAN BE DONE! ) Add to all that a very friendly front desk crew that did everything it could to meet little extra requests. The manager even had on hand a small plastic bag for ice to refresh a small day cooler. He did joke if he should call the police about the ice. Really after all that can anyone blame me for a small man crush? Btw if you like this why not give it a like below?

Staff was very friendly and the hotel is nice. Our room was good. We got a room that only had a view of the roof. Can't help that — sometimes you don't get the best view. But one thing that bothered me was that the windows could be opened all the way and COULD NOT be locked. With the roof right outside our window and my paranoia, I could not get it out of the back of my mind that seone could possibly sneak in while we were gone or worse yet, while we were sleeping. Nothing happened, of course, but I would have rested easier had I been able to lock those windows. Sure I could have asked for another room, but the hotel was at full capacity due to a convention in town. I also didn't want to bother maintenance for something they should have taken care of long ago.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and it was amazing! Breakfast was great! Staff was super sweet and rooms were super clean! I put their little sign on the door because I didn’t want room service (for the life of me now I can’t remember why haha but I had a personal reason) and they didn’t touch the room until after I took the sign off! Very very respectful! So so glad we chose to stay here! (:

Awesome front desk staff, friendly & helpful. Offered me delayed check out when my schedule changed last min. Maid service outstanding. Manager seemed very plugged in and aware. Thank you great stay!

We stayed for 4 nights. When we reserved or room, we were quoted one price, which we assumed was for each of the four nights. As it turns out, the rate we were quoted was only for the first night, and they doubled our rate without notice for the subsequent nights. To top it off, the water was shut off to the entire hotel at 8:45 am on our final morning without warning (and no, a small sign at the front desk doesn't count). It was not any emergency, but was planned maintenance. Who does that? No apologies, no discount, no showers. I won't be returning.

We arrived quite late at night, but the check in process was very easy and the night clerk was friendly and informative. We stayed on the third floor; the building was a little worn out, but seemed pretty clean. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The temperature was easy to adjust and maintain and we couldn't hear noises from other rooms. Lots of good TV channels too! The bathroom had plenty of towels, and provided the basics for toiletries. There was breakfast served in the morning that had a ton of hot and cold options! I did hear one family complain that all of the hot prepared food had pork or was cooked in proximity to pork (and they had stayed several nights and the options never changed), so maybe not a great place to have breakfast if trying to stay kosher. Overall, I thought it was a very reasonable hotel!

Awesome hotel just outside the city center, $12 Uber ride away. They give a AAA discount and provide a huge spread for free breakfast. The lobby has coffee and fresh fruit all day long as well. Customer service was excellent as well. Will definitely stay again!

We were greeted when we checked in. Receptionist was pleasant. They were out of cookies which was a bummer after a 2.5 hour drive. Upon entering the room we were surprised by the sub par quality of the room. Shower head had calcium build up on it. The nook with the microwave was falling apart and worn. There was a stain on the sheet and we found a box elder beetle in the room. The faucet on the whirlpool was loose and sketchy. Additionally since there was a conference there were kids crawling all over the hotel until about 12:00am. We were thankful however for a safe nights sleep and a functioning iron for my dress shirts. Unfortunately I can not justify paying that much for a hotel room with such low quality standards. If you stay here get the least expensive room you can.

The foyer is very welcoming. The rooms were clean and pretty basic, the mini fridge and microwave was very convenient. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (coffee, eggs, sausage and cereal stuff). I would definitely consider Country Inn for any future stays/getaways.

Hotel was great, room was nice, pool was clean. Staff were well not so clean and nice as expected to be greeted when checking in. No one around when checking out… guess I am still checked in. Breakfast was amazing, food hot and ready. Parking lot wad crazy with cars parked across lines. Multiple cars taking up more than one spot makes it difficult for parking without getting one's doors banged in.

Decent hotel. It's on the cheaper side, but it's good for the price. Hotel room was clean and the bed and sheets were super comfortable. Plenty of pillows, the interior of the building looks a tad dated. Had a microwave, fridge, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. Towels are not soft at all and kind of feel like sandpaper. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. It's close to a lot of food and shopping places. 5min from UW Madison and 10min from the capital building so this hotel is a prime location. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

My visit here was nice. The room was clean and complete with fridge and microwave. In the mornings they offer free breakfast which for me is super convenient. At the front desk they have free cookies, another nice touch. They have pool too.

We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Madison because the price was reasonable. It was very easy to find. The room was clean and spacious enough for the 4 of us. The pool was warm which was a plus for the kids. The breakfast was exactly what we expected a free hotel breakfast to be — waffles, toast, oatmeal, hashbrowns, omelets, etc.

Staff is excellent. The place is very clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants (different types) within walking distance. There is a pool, hot tub, exercise area and outdoor walks along a river. Next to the hotel is a place to rent kayaks, etc. That you can take out on the river and even the lake. Very nice place with a good staff.

FANTASTIC PLACE! Very family friendly, organized, warm, and comforting. And the breakfast spread is better than any hotel we have ever been in! The staff bends over backward to accommodate. I am beyond impressed!

Fantastic service. Clean, organized, with prompt service. The breakfast provided is one of the very best we have had at any hotel we have stayed at. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff. They bend over backward to accommodate. No snootiness, just old fashioned service.

The hotel had a very nice appearance. Room wasn't bad. Biggest issue was the paper thin walls — being woken up by very loud guests at night and in the morning. The wall unit also did not work properly. I would stay here again though if in the area.

Wi-Fi issues everytime I stay. Otherwise decent little hotel with warm pool.

Problems with the room access card.

Room was not in good standing order as there was old food in open areas, shower curtain was not repaired, morning breakfast hot items were luke warm at best and prep kitchen was dirty with food safety practices not followed by staff. I've started at several country inns but this was not a great one by any means.

We enjoyed the pool and the housekeeping staff was great. There was a mixup about the checkout time but they quickly worked to resolve it.

Service was normal, they did their jobs fine. The building was quiet and nice as well.

Room was clean. Employees were friendly. The cookies on the check in were delicious. 10 min tops from downtown.

Good location, everything we wanted to do was easy to get to. Nice hotel with a nice, friendly staff. Beds were kind of uncomfortable for me, pillows were terrible.

Night worker at front desk was about as rude as could be. Went to talk about the lack of parking and she completely blew me off and then just ignored me. The lot was full because there were two trucks with trailers that literally took up 10 spots. The lot appears to be undersized to begin with. Perhaps have people towing trailers park elsewhere. So instead of having two people park in a different company's unlit lot, you now have 10 people park in another company's unlit lot. That makes perfect sense.

There is a little pond behind the hotel with a walking area. On the back side there is a place to rent things to go on the pond. Wish we would have known about it sooner. Cleanliness was ok.

I had a terrible experience booking rooms for guests traveling to Madison for a meeting. Despite booking months in advance, one guest was bumped to the Super 8, charged twice for his room, and hotel management failed to promptly address the issues, despite numerous phone calls.

Comfortable but could not accommodate back to back rooms with my large party despite the neighboring rooms being empty the entire duration of our stay.

Exactly what you'd expect. Clean rooms. Good service. Good experience. Nothing extraordinary.

Reasonable price, clean rooms, close to downtown and surrounded by some restaurants in a walkable distance. Receptionists and other hotel staff are nice, friendly and always helpful too! Very nice breakfast I would highly recommend this place.

I went with a group to a convention. Our rooms were very clean. The service was excellent. Wifi was pretty good. The hot tub was very relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic.

Sad to hear the jingle for your commercial is about a woman who leaves her 7 kids with her husband to go trolling. Not the best marketing move — I suggest a change in the song. Totally get why you used it — but most people know the song for its meaning — a cheating wife leaving her kids — (I do like your hotel chain — Well run and clean)

Clean rooms and attentive staff, good location on Monona drive. Rooms at the "back" of the hotel are quite, no road noise at all. A great jumping off point to Madison and the surrounds.

The room was always clean, the beds wsre comfy, and the breakfast was good. Only the Internet connection kind of sucked.

Nice beds, service, cleanliness and rooms. Only problem is that the showers are cold in the morning.

Nice accommodation and comfy rooms. Very little sound bleed through walls which is good as I am a light sleeper.

Our visit was for a funeral, the hotel manager Ms D. Collins setup my reservation and upon arrival we we're greeted with the warmest front staff employee mr Marcus, awesome and very knowledgeable, room exceptionally clean and smelled great throughout the entire hotel, breakfast phenomenal, better than continental and the maintenance man Mr Greg was a very warm hearted gentleman, last but not least. I'm a Pastor in the greater Columbus Ohio area, in which I come in contact with many people throughout the usa and never have I met a young lady with such a brilliant personally and very hospitable, the Manager Ms D Collins is the very reason why we will definitely be returning she made our occasion well worth remembering, she puts the stars in this establishment, I would love to see her as G. M. She definitely displays the qualities Job well done Ms Collins Dr. J. S. Kerby Sr.

Stopped in to visit some friends and was very happy with the service provided. Even though I wasnt a paying guest, the staff was kind and courteous.

For the price you won't find a better hotel in the area. The Waypoint Public House is within walking distance too, so you can finish off a long day of business meetings with strong Wisconsin beer and walk home to a nice clean room.

I attended a meeting for my job at this Country Inn and Suites. The room we used was great and the lobby was lovely.

My favorite place to stay!
They have very clean rooms and comfortable beds and have a great selection of breakfast.

Great room, friendly staff, breakfast was well maintained. Often when we arrive we are disappointed but here to our surprise, all was better than expected.

The hotel is nice as most country inn suits are, although this isn't a very busy location and hotel was very slow, my daughter looks forward to the cookies, we traveled in a group of 8 and the hotel front desk associate kept 4 dry old nasty cookies in the bin and when we asked for fresh cookies he acted annoyed and place 8 cookies in the bin saying we could only take 3, because he was ro lazy to fill the box. I know they are just cookies but we scout these hotels out when we travel for this luxury, just silly and dumb, do ur job.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and must say I always look forward to getting here. I'm always greeted warmly, and the rooms are always clean. The workout room has two treadmills, and a universal weight machine, much more that some hotels in this price range. The breakfast is really good, with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy daily. The area is also nice, just out the back door you have a nice walk around a waterway, and great dining options are all located close.
