Great place to stay! VERY clean rooms! Spacious, too. We stayed in one of the double rooms that had 4 queen beds. Perfect for traveling with a bigger family. Price was very reasonable. Owners are wonderful. Loved the flags and banner. :)

I chose this motel because of the price and wanted to stay in Ironwood while crossing the Northwest. I was indeed pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, spacious, everything worked, beds were comfy, Wifi was good, and the owner was most congenial. He recommended a local restaurant — The Breakwater Restaurant — (which we ate at) and the food/price/service were all excellent! Kudos to Kevin for being so hospitable and running such a great establishment! We will stay here when travelling through this area again.

I want to thank the folks at the Budget Host for all they did for our stay we were stuck at the Mackinac bridge and they forgave 1 night that we couldn't make than have us a bigger room for the baby thank you again.

Nice atmosphere, everyone was attentive and friendly. Decent food selection. We were there on a Saturday night so had the prime rib special which was nothing special. It was not bad, just nothing to rave about. Butter for the baked potato was frozen solid which did more to cool the potato than the potato did to melt the butter. I would go back again to try something else on the menu because of the atmosphere and the staff.

Clean. Quiet. Affordable. Beds were nice and firm. This hotel has the typical feel of a family owned non-chain with its dated and random furniture and fixtures, but that's exactly what makes it affordable. This was a perfect stay.

Very nice manager. Clean spacious rooms with fridge, coffee maker, microwave, clay screen TV. Nothing fancy, but great for the $. Firm mattresses.

Room was a good size clean did have an issue with the toilet overflowing. Maintenance was short had to wake them up then do the work myself.

The budget host inn is good for staying for business or if you are on a tight budget. Rooms have been updated and beds are decent. It is American owned and the Owners are friendly. It is bare bones with fridges and microwaves in room. No breakfast, though.

I loved this hotel. We were rock hunting so the price was right, fairly inexpensive, however there was a microwave, fridge, and TV and 2 queen beds. The room each day was immaculate! No pool but who needs one when you have rocks to look at? Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here. It is an older motel, but updated and very well maintained. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. And the location is very convenient. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Wakefield.

This place is a great deal. My room was surprisingly spacious and well kept with a clean bathroom and shower. For the price, staying here is definitely a steal. You don't get a pool or jacuzzi or any of that but who really needs that stuff anyway. The Inn seems to be some kind of family operation. Very friendly service will see that you are feeling right at home! I even got 10% off coupons to a local restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Room was spacious, very clean, and the bed comfortable. Do not let the 1960's exterior deter you. I rate facilities a "2" simply because there is no pool or spa, which may mean something to those traveling with children.
