The night auditor front desk guy was amazing the night auditor front desk guy was amazing.

The staff is fantastic! However, rooms and property leaves much to be desired.
Two piles of dog feces in front of room in decorative rocks. Room smelled wet and musty. Sofa, was stained terribly and we covered with sheets, because it was so bad. Our room was nothing like photos of "updated rooms" on their website; obviously we were in a room. That needed renovation. It was a disappointing stay.

Very attentive. Needed a room change and was taken care of immediately.

Great front desk help. She has to do it all. And a fine job she did.

Check-in was speedy. Exterior and interior are pretty dated. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Large pool area. Pool water was cool, spa water wasn't very hot. Good, hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, dry cereal, fruit.

Well worth staying 2 nights 570 dollars for basic room. A rip off at any level. At the last day of bike fest and the day after still paid bike rally rates. But pool hot tum breakfast. And just the atmosphere was well well. Worrth the price. Great little place … but quading the pricea still a day after the bike rally was pure greed.

Decent but showing it's age. Stayed for 2x nights while enjoying the Centennial Trail. Rooms are adequate but like the rest of the place show their age. Large pool / hot tub area that our kids enjoyed. Breakfast was standard fake eggs and make your own waffles. Decent value.

I work night shift and had to sleep during the daytime. Train tracks just next to the hotel has a train passing by that honks the horn loudly about 1-2 times per day. Pets are allowed, so I had barking dogs waking me up every day, multiple times per day. The place seems older then the average best western, it needs a remodel. The hotel rooms are either indoors next to the pool (Noise from kids playin), or outdoors (noise from barking dogs and train). Breakfast is not so great, sausage links are inedible, I stopped eating breakfast there. Only 2 hot items per day. Pool and hot tub looked nice. I would not stay here again.

Seems to be an older building with a nice remodel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its quite easy to find, right off of I-90 in Sturgis. They have a large pool and a hot tub. Its a great place to stay and tour the Black Hills without spending a fortune.

Property is a dump. We paid $154 for a tiny pet friendly room and the A/C didn't work, the shower floor had a lot of give, the room was gross and smelt like a smoker had been in it. My wife and I slept in our clothes because the room was so gross. We stay at Best Westerns all the time because we travel with our dogs a lot and this is the first time we've had such a poor experience.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago while I was on a solo motorcycle trip.
When I checked out and left I got a call saying I had forgotten a bracelet I got for my girlfriend. They called me saying the cleaning lady found it bit I was already a 100 miles out so I asked them to mail it home for me, which they did. I so appreciate the honesty and good will. Thank you guys for doing that! I received it the other day. Great staff, nice rooms, honest people. I will make it a point to give them my business whenever I'm in town.

New owners have transformed this place… It was unlivable 3 years ago… actually nice now… I wouldn't get a poolside room in summer unless you like noise and chlorine gas… room for a couple trucks… CLC accepted… convenient store next door.

Had a great stay. Only over night but the beds we're comfy and the water pressure in the shower was fabulous.

Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a big breakfast selection, but what was there was good. Bed was a little soft. Worth the price.

Nice and clean "retro" motel! Room we stayed in was updated and comfortable. We will be returning with grandchildren for a vacation to see the sites. This stay was on a cross country move and even though we checked in at 11:30pm the front desk was friendly.

Room was comfortable, noisy location next to interstate and railroad, showing it's age, nice pool, average breakfast, ample parking.

While the rooms are a nice size and clean, the hotel needs a facelift and some rearranging. Breakfast should be kept fully stocked (or at least somewhat stocked) during advertised hours. Staff is nice enough but they can't improve the overall appearance of the hotel. Invest some money and give it the improvements to make it up to a Best Western standard.

It was clean air conditioning didn't work. But overall not bad. Employees were nice. A little out dated.

We have stayed here many times. They have great rates. They have clean rooms, friendly staff, and are in a convenient location. Also great breakfast included.

An aging old hote with the appropriate furniture and equipment, renovation would be appropriate. Rooms were clean breakfast absolutely okay, staff friendly for about 100. — dollars a night for 2 people just too much, gives better for less.

Amazing place. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, the pool and hot tub were very clean and nice. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I read the responses from owner. Let me save you some time, I will not give your hotel another try. Old. Rooms, need air, stuck at 75… horrible. Bathrooms… whoa. Hotel needs fixed. Being the only hotel that has rooms is not something to be proud of, especially when all the other hotels are full. Not save the best for last, only choice. I am shocked that the franchise leads don't shut you down. Paper thin walls, no sleep.

We have stayed here many times. The jacuzzi room is amazing. We only live a mile away, lol, but love the jacuzzi. Will stay again and again! The room is very clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is great. Thank you.

Best stay during our 14 day journey. Hotel staff was awesome, friendly, considerate, and genuinely caring. This was our first stay but not our last. Best Western Sturgis will be our go to place the next time we're in town — Thank you for a great stay!

Very attentive and cordial staff. Heated, covered pool and hot tub. Plenty of power outlets in the room!

Don’t stay here during the week when they are not busy. Only a couple rooms were occupied so the front desk attendant told us we needed to call in the morning to tell them what we wanted if we wanted Eggs, sausage, or cheese omelet. He said there would also be breads and fruits and waffles available after 6 a. M. The next morning at 7:00 the breakfast area was locked and the front desk told us since we, nor any of the other guests, had called them yet, they hadn’t made ANY breakfast available at all. We couldn’t even make a piece of toast or get a glass of juice. They did say they would set it up but would take awhile. There was luke warm coffee at the front desk. The beds were comfortable but short. Rooms were small and could use updates but it was ok.

Kind of older motel, little bit run down. Over $100 per night which was over priced.

Pet Friendly! Thank you! Friendly, courteous staff. Lmmaculate rooms. Spacious, well taken care of pet area with waste bags and disposal can. Again, very much appreciated. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were friendly & amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were really clean & comfy. Building itself a little in need of TLC but would stay there again. Loved the fresh baked cookies!

Staff was awesome. Room was not very clean, bathroom especially. I could hear all outside noises and it was very hard to sleep. The people made it worth the stay though, all of the staff was so nice. We even met some nice guests.

Room was super clean, no smells, crisp sheets, comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Plenty of room, clean shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was hot and varied from scrambled eggs and sausage to waffles or yogurt, bagels, muffins, biscuits and gravy. Even toast! Everything was fresh and the coffee decent and plentiful. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again my next stop in Sturgis.

We were poolside room, the room was hot and humid. Not to mention the noise of the partiers out in the hot tub. The floor mats in the shower we're filthy. A large black spider and K had a showdown in the bathroom and I won. When. Y husband slipped into bed the second night he had a brown spider o. His pillow. We would have gone to another hotel but since Sturgis is on right now it was I. Possible to get another room. These guys need to get a as officer and put the them to work.

This was the perfect hotel for us. My mother and I were traveling from Eugene, OR with my little dog. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, decorated in lodge style. Loved everything about the hotel. Location, staff, room, breakfast etc.

Rooms are clean, breakfast is good, facilities are good, pool. Service people and staff were nice and accommodating. However bathroom is the size of a phone booth. The Air Conditioning in room doesn't seem to get cooler no matter how you set the thermostat. Its lime it was set at 75 and won't change temp at all.

Decent location, a short drive to downtown Sturgis, but right next to I90, we were in a room facing I90 and it didn't seem to be too loud. We got upgraded to a suite which has a living room area with couch and chairs and a separate bedroom with 2 beds in them. The pool was small for a hotel that size and the hot tub was extra hot. Breakfast was very good with make your own waffles, with eggs, sasauge and the normal breakfast food!

Chose because it was pet friendly with a nice area for walking dogs, complete with pickup bags and disposal can. Not fancy, but well kept. Breakfast had enough variety for everyone and staff kept it well supplied during the breakfast hours. Not top notch for sound suppression (but we had dogs to alert us). Plenty of parking near our door. Convenient location.

We checked out suites and the amenities for the purpose of a teenager's birthday party. We really loved the pool and hot tub area, which was a big selling point. The 2 bed suite we checked out had great space and I personally liked how the door opened to the outside — but that may not be preferable when the weather is cold and you go back and forth to the pool area. I will say that the biggest downer was the overall room appearance. It was dirty or anything, but dated and a good bit dull and dreary.

Awesome place friendly staff, jambroz is the bomb! :) we will be back.

Reasonable rates, rooms are clean, service is great, breakfast has many options. Would recommend staying here if you visit this town.

Not very clean. Old building. Right by interstate and weird Wi-Fi.

The room was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was great and the hot tub was super relaxing after having drove for the day. The man in the breakfast room was super friendly and polite, even though we ended up staying about 10 minutes past. He even made my daughter chocolate chip waffles. We had complimentary water bottles in our room and one of the hotel staff had even left a note for us. Only one thing bothered me, and that was that the laundry room closed after a specific time and by the time it opened back up, we had to get back on the road so we had no time to dry our bathing suits. The only other things were that we had an exterior room on the second floor, so the people who had motorcycles that left at 6 in the morning woke us up, and there were a lot of flies for some reason. But these things weren't the hotel's fault. Also they had USB and plug in charging stations on the desk and nightstand, and for someone traveling with a child that needs to charge multiple devices, this was an AWESOME feature. I was impressed and would definitely stay again.

My husband, 11 month old and I are moving across the country and we stopped here, so glad we did! The front desk was super friendly and ended up surprising us with an upgraded room. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was amazing! And the rooms were really comfortable and clean. I normally don't write reviews for places but I'm very pleased with my experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone else passing through.

Flies in the room all the time, gave us a flat swatter and good luck. Even after cleanup the the room was dirty, load and the restaurant food? The food is bad, I mean they can even screw up eggs and the French Toast instead of soft was hard.

The room was clean and comfy. There was a Handwritten note in our room with two bottles of water thanking us for choosing to stay with them. We had dinner at caddys and it was really good. The following morning we had a complimentary breakfast at caddys that was specular the farmers skillet by far this was the best breakfast we have ever received from a hotel. I would most definitely stay again and I highly recommend best western sturgis inn and Caddys.
