The service was great here. The room was huge and had a kitchen. Also the pool has a fun slide in it that goes so fast. 10/5 stars!

Good pool with water slide and workout area. Room smelled like dirty feet. Breakfast attendant rude and continually cut in front of my daughter and I as we made our selections. No meat options. Even saw the front desk attendant use his bare hands to scoop Fruit Loops from the counter and place them back in the dispenser. Very little seating area for a hotel of this size and the high price paid for a room.

Great hotel with a pool. It is walking distance to the boardwalk and all of the attractions it offers. We stayed here two nights after driving for about 20 hours. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Poor building site. Convenient, but unnecessarily steep entrance off highway with 90° turn at bottom. All-foreign staff could not understand it needed to be kept plowed during snow events, & was late more than once because vehicle could not make it up icy entrance way.

The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. This is a great location if you are visiting the Black Hills area.

They have an even better weight room and a slice in the pool area.

Pretty good. Rooms a little outdated and breakfast was okay. The slide was cool too lol.

Excellent management, superb breakfast, and well-kept lobby and pool. Even with the loud heat window register, the kindness and attentiveness of management would most certainly bring us back! Highly recommend!

Vicki was our receptionist during our visit and was just outstanding! Very cheerful and helpful with any questions about Spearfish.

We have traveled the US and usually stay at Hampton Inns… Diamond Members. This is the worst hotel we have ever been in through all our thousands of stays. The front desk clerk was rude, not helpful and did not solve our problems with the room. She told us that "you have a service dog and this is the only room we have for you. " The room did not work for our accommodation needs, it was far from the lobby and food and drinks, the shower did not work and water sprayed everywhere, the coverings on the pipes fell off, the room heater did not work. Two bulbs in the lamps were burned out. The manager the next day told us we could get the room next door to that one for our next night. It would have some of the same issues. We felt discriminated against because of disabilities and the need to have the dog. The people at this hotel were so rude to us.

Not friendly at all. Fridge clicked and didn't work was told all rooms are like that. Auto on the heater didn't work all heat or no heat. Would of been better staying at motel 6. Will never stay there again. Very clean though.

It was nice hotel. Very much what you would expect. Breakfast was decent.

Great rooms. Love the 3 beds in most rooms. Excellent front desk staff. Everything was great minus housekeeping turning the AC off every day and we returned to an 80 degree room.

Hotel was convenient and super new and clean! There was some noise from a ground floor a/c unit that made it through our 3rd floor closed windows. I would definitely stay here again!

Very accommodating staff. Nice spa! The waterslide didn't work but we didn't ask about it. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a lot of options. Staff was kind. Location good. We needed some extra supplies so it was nice that Walmart was close by. It's also very accessible to the freeway, and there's some lovely scenery very close! Overall a pretty good stay!

Excellent place. Very friendly receptionists. Excellent swimming pool and kids swirly slides. Good breakfast. Autumn, the breakfast helper, was very nice too.

Upon arriving we were greeted with a warm welcome. We got a room with two double beds and a pullout couch. The room was in excellent condition. The breakfast was good, lots of options. Everything was hot, no complaints.

Not the usual Hampton. Looks similar but cheaper. Doors hollow. Walls thin. You hear water in pipes through walls. Not bad but surprising.

Overall hotel is nice. With a nice sized pool with slide and a nice hot tub. Style is a bit older but still has that elegant look. Rooms where clean and always love Hampton beds and pillows. Customer service was not the best. We did an online check in but when we got to the hotel they front desk agent Betty did not great us for a few minutes because she was folding laundry which is fine but she still could have acknowledged us. Hampton has 24/7 free coffee and hot water for tea when we went to the coffee it was not even hot. Later after my husband and I settled into our room we came back down to get more coffee and 2 out of the 3 containers where empty and betty was on the sofa in the lobby talking on her cell phone in front of us and other guests that has just came down after us. Just was not the best customer service I had a Hampton.

Room and breakfast was awesome as always with every Hampton. But when we went down to the lobby coffee was empty and the front desk agent was on her personal cell phone sitting on the couch ignoring other guests that wanted to ask her a question which is a poor representation of Hilton properties. Otherwise great hotel.

Room was large and extremely clean. Hotel was clean. Staff was amazing. Used the gym and it was good. Pool has a water slide. Breakfast was great, even had to-go bags. Hampton continues to be a top notch hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had to find a hotel when it was snowing heavily and this was the first one I saw. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a restful night. And in the AM when the snow was covering my car, the person at the front desk helped me dig my car out as well as assisted me in getting my mom in the car.

We are staying with all our family about 24 of us and they have been very helpful with us. It has been a great start and I would recommend this hotel highly.

The room was very nice and quite. Beds soft.

Very large rooms for a Hampton Inn!

We spent 5 days at the hotel. The pool with the water slide was fantastic. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. We took advantage of their washer and dryers as we got muddy during one of our hikes. The only suggestion would be to rotate the breakfast menu as during our stay there were only 2 menus in the rotation. The location is located right next to Walmart if you forgot rain gear, Subway for a sandwich in the park and Applebee's for happy hour.

Stayed here for second year in a row. Very friendly, good breakfast, great beds, just wished spa would have worked.

Got charged for 2 additional nights we hadn't stayed. Said we reserved when we hadn't. Tried to work it our with front desk worker who was the owner but very unhelpful and rude. Walked in back at one point. Will not be staying here ever again.

Three days before I intended to start my trip, they sent me an e-mail telling me that my price had doubled. I made a reservation for this hotel in mid June for early August. I reconfirmed dates and price with them 2 days later to make sure everything was entered correctly, and the originally quoted price and dates were confirmed. Speaking to the owner got nowhere. He even admitted that he knew that they quoted me the price that I expected, but said he wouldn't honor it. Very smug and dishonest man. Believes his mistakes are your problems. Said if I didn't like it, I could cancel, knowing it would be difficult to find another place to stay at this late date. If you're looking for a dishonest business, this is the place for you.
