This location is not what you would expect from a Residence Inn. The room was not a comfortable room to stay in. To be honest, it wasn't just one thing, it was a multitude of things that drove me to writing this review. Firstly is the design of the room. The room seemed empty. I stayed in a king studio and the usable cabinet space is quite lacking. The only space for dry goods/food is on top of the fridge or in the cabinets above the fridge. Hopefully, one could understand why you can't really use both at the same time, so we used the top of the fridge. It was quite inconvenient for my 5'2"" wife. Next, is the large microwave that sets atop the counter, taking up valuable counter space. I should also mention the door on the microwave was broken and required some finagling to close properly. The paper towel holder is below the sink, so when your reach for a towel, you must open the cabinet door with wet or nasty hands (the reason you need a paper towel). There was not an oven. Most Residence Inns at which I have stayed include a full size range (with oven) or at least a convection oven/microwave combo. There is a large desk next to the window, but the office chair supplied with it is the most uncomfortable chair I have ever used. I ended up using the couch and pulling up the end table to use as a desk. There was not a coffee table. No outlets near the bed for my CPAP and phone charger… unless I wanted to drape it across an aisle and create a trip hazard. Oh, and forget breakfast. I went down one morning, over an hour before breakfast was schedule to end, and there were only over-cooked eggs and 1/2 slice of bacon on a day that was schedule to have biscuits and gravy. Meanwhile, the attendant was spending half his time watching TV and the other half cleaning the coffee pot area over and over and over. It just so happened the coffee area was adjacent to the TV. The restroom door was 6" wider than needed, requiring one to stand in the shower or straddle the toilet to close the door behind them. The door was not extra wide to accommodate an ADA bath, it was just too wide (36") for no good reason. No place to hang your bath towels. No single item was enough to make me write a review, but day after day, the room became more and more uncomfortable and cumbersome to live in.
